DC:I A Minecrafter

Chapter 6: Finding Village

Feng was a chill dude and thus he was walking after he digged up even though he knew he might get gravel camped and yes he almost did get killed by gravel. And so he began his lonely journey. The Minecraft world was silent well if you exclude the natural music playing in the background. He sprinted for ten minutes until he found a large body of water.

He quickly placed his crafting table on the floor and made a boat, he placed it onto the water and hopped up onto it, he then started to row away across the large body of water and beneath the darkening sky. Feng rowed like he used to do when he was playing, he admires the beautiful world and forgot about the one where countless monster like beings existed. "I want to see if superman can beat the wither storm" And Feng was now back to the usual mine crafter who would compare beings like the titans against someone like Batman. Which of course would get bodied by any of the mine craft titans.

Fang rowed for half a day and the moon was at it's peak and no signs of land anywhere around him, though that did increase his chances of finding a village or maybe even a desert. Fang was already bored out of his mind, maybe he should bring someone along the next time he comes back here, it is decided then, He would tame a wolf.

Soon multiple days passed approximately five and Fang has been to two biomes which had a lot of landmass and no village at all, the first one was an oak forest biome and the one he is walking along is a sand biome, he did kill some monsters these days and gathered a significant amount of string and gunpowder, he also killed a few enderman's making his ender pearl count to climb four (He killed six endermen).

"A village finally?!" right across Feng stood a village, he saw the sandstone buildings and the realistic Aesthetic of it he immediately ran towards the village with an excited look on his face, He could finally find a bookshelf but a shadow loomed over him. A gigantic being of iron stared at him with it's robotic glowing red eyes, Feng had the same excited look from before but it was frozen on his face, he slowly stepped back. "Hello iron golem, do you mind letting me pass"

The golem stared at him for a few seconds before it moved to the side and started patrolling, Feng wiped the none existent sweat from his forehead and sighed in relief, it wasn't like he couldn't beat the iron golem, it was more of trying to gauge how a realistic iron golem would fight he was actually not that scared, yep not scared at all.

After he calmed down, the first thing he did of course was to loot the entirety of the village and then make an enchanted table and enchant all his iron tools and his diamond pickaxe with basic enchantments, well it really didn't take long to loot the entire village, after his successful attempt at stealing he turned around to see his first villager... they looked the same as in the game but with a realistic skin structure and clothes, he also noticed the villagers had intelligence, this particular one kept staring at him until.

"Hello villager. Looking at how you're looking at me I would assume you want to be offered as a tribute to the blood god but don't worry, I'll spare you for now," Feng said with a mischievous grin. The villager tilted its head, its big nose twitching slightly. It didn't respond, of course, but its sharp, intelligent eyes seemed to be analyzing Feng's every move. "Okay, maybe not a blood sacrifice. Let's just trade instead," Feng added awkwardly, feeling a bit silly for talking to a video game villager as if it had feelings.

He approached the villager, opening up the trade interface—or what he expected to be the trade interface. To his surprise, the villager extended its hand and spoke in a soft but clear voice, "Emeralds for bread."

Feng was surprised but then his eyes twitched. "One emerald for 1 piece of bread is actually a huge scam"

The villager spoke. "it is a reasonable price but if you are offering to trade ten pieces of coal for a totem of undying I found from a Vindicator I am friends with"

Feng raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you villagers enemies of the Pillager faction?"

"Yes we are but there are some Pillagers who don't belong to such factions like the witches who live in their swamps, do you want to trade or not"

Feng stared at the villager, processing the absurdity of what he'd just heard. A villager with a sense of diplomacy? And a totem of undying in exchange for coal? That was an outrageous deal.

"Alright, you've got my attention," Feng said, smirking. "But let's see if this 'totem' is legit first. No offense, but you don't exactly scream 'reliable merchant.'"

The villager huffed, its big nose twitching again. "I assure you, it's the real deal. Unlike some of my more... less honest brethren, I take pride in fair trades. Do you have ten pieces of coal or not?"

Feng reached into his inventory, pulling out the coal he'd collected over the past few days. He was skeptical, but the idea of having a totem of undying this early in his adventure was too tempting to pass up. He handed over the coal, watching as the villager carefully counted each piece before pulling out a small, glowing object.

The totem of undying glimmered in the villager's hands, its eerie green eyes staring back at Feng. "Well, I'll be damned," Feng muttered, grabbing the totem. It felt warm and pulsing with some kind of life energy. "This is actually real. Guess I owe you an apology for calling you a scammer."

The villager grinned—or at least, that's what Feng assumed from the slight upward twitch of its mouth. "Pleasure doing business. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to tend to my crops."

As the villager walked away, Feng couldn't help but feel impressed. This wasn't like the Minecraft he used to play this was a whole different level of realism. The world seemed alive, dynamic, and full of surprises.

He wandered further into the village, spotting a group of villagers huddled around a campfire, chatting in a language he didn't understand. Their gestures were animated, and their interactions seemed genuine. Feng felt like an outsider in their world.

"Maybe I should build a base here," Feng muttered to himself. "It's not like I've found anything better in the last five days."

Feng got into the Zone of building and let himself to the grasp of the builder to build a house made out of cobblestone and sandstone since he would probably use his wood to make some chests.

The house started to take shape as Feng worked tirelessly under the bright blocky sun. He placed cobblestone for the base, giving it a solid and sturdy foundation, then layered the sandstone to add a warm and natural touch. The combination was simple but elegant, blending well with the desert village's aesthetic. He even decided to add some glass panes to the windows for a clearer view of the outside world.

Feng stepped back, wiping his hands together with satisfaction. "Not bad, if I do say so myself. A proper little starter house to keep me safe from the night terrors."

Feng then decided it was time to make contact with people and then opened a portal back to Metropolis, once he stepped through, he was greeted by strangely apocalyptic scene, high above the sky a raging Madman laughed.
