Demon Lord: Erotic Adventure in Another World

Chapter 564: A Letter From the King... To War!

Meanwhile, as the lovers enjoyed a momentary afterglow.

A group of armoured horses trotted to the edge of an evergreen plain overlooking the city of Baltimore in the distance. Beautiful women wearing black armour sat atop them. The leading woman wasn't human, but carried a ferocious and bestial aura.

Long fluffy ears, and nine shimmering tails curled into a big ball of fluff.

"How does it feel to be out in action after months of being sidelined, Yumiko?" A charming woman with a tomboyish style. Her dark violet hair cut to her neck, with black sclera and amethyst pupils, along with her black energy horn crackling with aura and purple runes.

"Velvet, I know you're just the same." The foxy woman chuckled, flicking her tail in the air.

The two women led the group of knights, more than a thousand in total, who were preparing a camp in the vast field on the plain.

Yumiko turned back to see the pair of twins quietly whispering together.

"Sariel, Riel, are you sure you want to follow?"

"Of course~ Yumi!"

"Please, we will be of great help, Yumiko."

Most of the women close to Asmodeus chose to head south after learning about what happened.

Asmodea rode a red warhorse on the left flank. She closed her eyes while flooding the earth with her mana, creating several thousand blood flowers that would protect and aid them if a battle happened.

The moment she sensed Asmodeus, her eyes snapped open, their colour shifting from red to a blue tint, with black horns curling around her ears and long, crimson hair.

She reached out.

"My dear lord, you are enjoying my sister too much..." Asmodea's strong connection to Vinea and Asmodeus allowed her to sense their actions, and faint emotions... 'He just came inside her, I feel so jealous.'

During her pregnancy, their nights of passion decreased in number; now her seeds grew in her womb. She didn't mind at first, knowing it was for their baby's safety, but now that Asmodeus and Vinea were mating, she could feel their emotions and desires for each other...

"Well, at least they are alive." She huffed, the ground beneath her filling with blood that seeped into an underground cave, a source of mana that would allow her to keep fighting endlessly.

"Yumiko, Aunt... this battle will be difficult to win if Mephisto remains a deity."

Asmodea looked back, behind her a blonde fox, almost identical to Yumiko but with a calmer atmosphere and short, thick eyebrows. "My sister will handle it."

Alice, on the other hand, read a book while riding a giant wolf, a type of monster found in the north. Its hair is similar to hers, black like obsidian.

"I think this is the biggest military action we've seen for the last thousand years or so," Alice commented.

"It's going to get bloody..." Yumiko groaned.

The reason for them coming this far wasn't because they missed Asmodeus, or that they worried about him too much.

Ten days earlier, not long after Asmodeus left the city.

"Asmodea~ it seems that your dad is worried about you," Alice called out while holding several elegant letters with the emblem of the Grigorian royal family. "There's an entire bundle... what will happen if you don't reply?"

"Eh? But father only sends letters to complain about his aides and annoyances at meetings." Asmodea replied, leaning back on the soft, cushioned chair with her back pressed against a large pillow, a tiny bump appearing on her belly.

"Well, we both know that it's rare for him to send a letter to all of us, there's even one for Velvet!"

"Hmmm~ then shall we discuss it together?"

"Sounds good to me!" Alice closed the door to Asmodea's room and walked towards the large wooden table, taking a seat in the comfortable chair. "We should tell the others and get to the council chambers."

"Let's read them first, what could it be?"

Asmodea held up the letter from her father, tilting it before using her sharp nail to cut the seal, and slipping the thick paper from the envelope. 'Hmm?'

- To my beloved daughter

As you are aware, the state of Grigor has been unsettled recently following the disappearance of your uncle and the unusual actions of the mainland entering Baltimore... I have received information that a large fleet will soon reach the port.

Can you ask Asmodeus what his plans are? I have heard word from the local lords that the cult of death has begun spreading through our lands, but the knights are preparing to march south.

Dear Liana, I hope that you can send aid to your poor father.

Asmodea closed her eyes with a sigh after reading the last lines and placed the letter down. She glanced at Alice, a frown forming on her face as she began to speak.

"Umu, this is worrying..."

"What is it?"

"Dad... he's never asked for my help before."

Alice brushed her long, back hair back and nodded. "He even asked me to convince Asmodeus to send knights to help the borders of Grigor close to Baltimore."

The two women shared a glance before showing a wry smile. "It seems we need to call everyone home to discuss this. Asmodeus, Vinea and Lumina are already gone... so this is up to us to deal with."

Alice smiled at Asmodea, who spoke like a leader.

She adored her little niece, and watching her take her first steps as a princess and ruler filled her with a sense of pride.

"Okay, let's go. I am sure Velvet will be excited."

"Haha."

Two hours later, the women met in the huge meeting room, which they had previously used to decide who would sleep with Asmodeus that night; now, they used it for something else. Yumiko sat on the right side of the table, facing Velvet, and Sariel sat beside Yumiko.

Riel and Erika sat opposite each other, with Yuina to their side, while Alice and Asmodea chose the remaining seats without much care. Finally, the dark elf Ciela took the seat beside Erika.

All of the women were bound to a single man.

As for Serena, she was close to giving birth, and so took care of the children with Aki and Fuuka. Asmodeus promised she could join him, but only after he ensured it was safe.

"Asmodea, Alice... is what your father and uncle say true?" Yumiko's low voice echoed through the chamber.

"If it is true... this is very serious," Velvet murmured.

"Could this be related to Mephisto and what we discussed?" Erika, who rarely appeared, leaned forward with a curious expression.

"Probably, we don't have the time to wait because Asmodeus will arrive in Baltimore in five days."

Because they didn't understand the issues and troubles that Asmodeus would face, their estimate of five days seemed quite accurate; in reality, it would take him nine.

"It would be foolish to rush after them now, at the very least... we should ensure that our territories are protected." Alice added, "Asmodea... what do you think?"

"Well, is this the time to hold back? I believe we should send two forces: one that rushes to the border and prepares for the approaching angry fleet from the mainland, and the other should do what it can to protect the villages and safeguard my father's territories.

"Asmodea is right; if we allow the villages to fall into the enemy's hands, then even if Asmodeus returns, there might be a secondary battle after we exhaust ourselves," Velvet added, tapping the table and looking at the women.

"First, we need to decide who will go, and who will take care of the little pups."

The women whispered and chatted before ultimately deciding that everyone but Ciela, Aki, and Fuuka would leave.

"... I want to have five dates alone with our beloved!" Ciela complained, and the other women offered and bartered benefits to get other women to stay, but they failed. The only reason that she accepted was that, like Serena, she might be too close to giving birth.

Serena, however, would be riding slowly behind them in a carriage because she got Asmodeus to allow her.

With this, they began to arrange troops, splitting the remaining army of just over four thousand in half. One group would be left to protect the kingdom, while the rest would head south, with half to support the territory and the other half to rush south to the border.

Back to the current day.

An elegant carriage followed the group slowly, to avoid any damage to Serena or her child by preventing the shock or bumps from disturbing her and her foetus.

"How much longer until I give birth?" Serena asked as she placed a hand on her stomach, feeling the bump growing.

The mysterious aura and energy coming from her stomach almost comforting... "It's strong..." She couldn't quite sense the level, but knew that it was close to divinity. 'Will our child be blessed?'

Serena smiled and hummed a gentle song while stroking her stomach.

'Your father is very anxious to see you...

But he would be too overprotective. So let mommy take you on an adventure.'
