Destiny of the destinies

Chapter 10: The heartwarching Scene

Keaki's P.O.V.

My heart was going crazy; my mind went blank, hearing everything the King said. Only one thing really hit me: 'My child, my daughter Arya, is in danger.' Not because she was picked on, but because someone used magic on her right here in the royal palace. My gut told me, my head screamed – I didn't know about this. So I ran, fast, to saw her. I didn't even know if Veridia was with me.

"Arya!" I yelled as soon as door opened. The scene broke my heart. Every kid was on the floor, but where was my daughter?

"Darling, Arya!" Veridia called out, dropping to her knees beside the sofa. At least my daughter was on the sofa. I still couldn't really see or hear, but her.

"Arya, my daughter, what happened to you? Who hurt you? Tell Papa, please wake up! I'll make sure they get what's coming to them!" I pulled her into my lap.

"Darling, our daughter, our child"She sobbed.'

My wife was right, our daughter was in danger, I was so dumb, I didn't listen to her.'

"Duke Keahi, healers are here, let them," the King told me. I just nodded. After what happened, I didn't trust anyone else. But I needed the whole story. She must have been alone.

"Duke, your daughter suffered the most, but you should trust us. The bad guys are caught for it," Prince told me, but I couldn't feel anything anymore.

"Your Highness, can you tell us what happened?"

"I will, but there's more we don't know yet. So first, let the healers do their job. In the meantime all of you need to know."

"Darling, you should go, don't worry. I'll be here this time," Veridia said, leaving. I nodded, and the rest of us left the room.

In the Throne Room

When we all sat down, the Prince started telling us everything they knew.

"Ashwin, so that girl targeted Keahi's daughter, did you ask her why?" the King asked, and I felt my eyes turn red with anger. 'Those jerks.'

"Yes, we did, but she wouldn't say."

"I think she's delusional . She thought she wasn't doing anything wrong," Princess Add said.

"But why was she here? Clearly, she was using magic that means her practice already started, and using so much magic makes it super clear she's not new to it nor a seven year old who received her power today but maybe last year or so." Someone raised their voice. I didn't care who it was.

" Your worries and questions are fair, but don't worry. The search team is on their way, but for now, let's focus on our kids. Today, let your kids rest here."

"Your Majesty, excuse my rudeness, but I want to go back with my family," I cut in.

"But Duke Ignis, it's a long trip, and your daughter is still healing," the Prince said.

But my eyes were only on the King.

"Duke Keahi, you can go, but use a portal. A long trip isn't good for that kid. If anyone wants to do the same, I don't mind. I get how you feel, so don't hold back."

"I thank Your Majesty."

"Greetings your Majesty, the kids are safe, but still sleeping. They need some time to get better," some healer announced.

After that, I don't know what happened, but I was standing in front of my family.

"Darling, let's go!" I carried my daughter into my arms "We are going home!"

During the ride, I told her everything, in less than 15 minutes we were at our house. We didn't tell anyone.

"Darling, I'm sleeping with Arya tonight," Veridia quietly said.

"Okay, I'm going to Nuri's room." I couldn't make myself leave my daughter, but there was nothing I could do right now but wait.

"I understand."

Right now, I can't be alone. I need something to stop me from going crazy. The only thing that can stop me is my family. This family, I made with love. Those jerks, I will make them pay much more than what they did to my daughter.
