Chapter 228: Army of Angels.
Mykel was on his own inside a novel world and he was staring at Asmond who was busy eating himself to satiate his hunger. He didn't even bother to look away and kept watching as he stood behind Asmond screaming in pain as he munched his own hand.
He looked at his left hand and casually cut his hand off with his right index finger. He looked at it and noticed there was no blood inside his body anymore, only flesh with the color of silver and transparent at the same time.
The sound when his hand hit the ground made Asmond stop munching his own hand. He slowly turned around and looked at Mykel, and that immediately put tears down his chin. He couldn't speak anymore as he ate his own tongue, and the moment he saw a fresh hand on the ground, he couldn't help but approach it and eat it.
Mykel lifted his right foot right above Asmond's head and then crushed it down to the ground like a watermelon. The moment Asmond died, Amaryllis came and she wondered why Asmond died since he was supposed to be immortal. When she saw Mykel was the one who killed him, she realized why Asmond died.
"Mykel, your hand," Amaryllis said as she looked at Mykel's handless left arm.
Mykel forgot to regenerate it, and his hand instantly came back with just his thoughts. He then looked at the tattoos on his left hand and wrist that had disappeared, his body no longer accepting anything that was put in his body. He then walked to the cliff that used to be the cliff that separated the land from the sea.
Amaryllis quietly followed him and stood right behind him because she had noticed the changes in Mykel. It was just silence and then suddenly she heard birds chirping and the sound of leaves being blown by the wind. She turned around and saw a forest that appeared out of nowhere, and she didn't even realize that even though she was supposed to be the one who owned the whole universe inside the novel world.
"How far have you grown, Mykel?" Amaryllis asked as she turned around to look at Mykel, but then she was surprised by the dried land in front of her that had filled with a beautiful vast sea.
"Physically?" Mykel asked. "I don't know, but let's check it out," Mykel said as he raised his hand at the sun and gently flicked his fingers at the sun.
The sun exploded and the moment the heatwave reached Earth, everything got disintegrated. The whole Earth disappeared and all the planets behind it, but Mykel was fine and the ground he was standing on.
Amaryllis was covering her eyes with her left hand, and when she slowly put her hand down, she saw a supernova. She was shocked that Mykel didn't only explode the sun, but all the planets on other galaxies that aligned with the sun's position. That was when she realized Mykel was already far ahead of the others, and even Elena needed to do preparation first if she wanted to do something like that.
"Funny that I have this kind of power but I feel empty inside," Mykel said as he kept staring at the beautiful supernova. "Now I understand how he feels," Mykel continued.
Amaryllis didn't say anything and just stood there, listening to what Mykel had to say. Deep down, she was disturbed, saddened, and scared of Mykel's growth that was slowly eating him alive.
"Don't leave. Please stay for as long as you can, Mykel," Amaryllis said in her trembling voice.
"I'm not going to leave, I have been suppressing this power for so long. I can no longer stop its growth, and I won't leave at least until I got what I want," Mykel answered as he turned around and looked at Amaryllis who held her tears. "You're crying even though I'm still here?" Mykel asked with a gentle smile.
Amaryllis wiped her eyes and tried to stop crying, but she couldn't because her fear had overwhelmed her. Suddenly Mykel pulled her closer and hugged her as he gently stroked her back to calm her down.
When Amaryllis had calmed down, he noticed something and he immediately brought Amaryllis back to the garden. He looked up into the sky and that was when stars shined brightly even though it was noon, and everyone looked at it with confused looks on their faces.
"The Angels," Mykel said with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Another one has joined the party," Aurea scoffed as she clenched her fists. "Let's see what are they going to do once they landed. I hope they will come to us immediately," Aurea continued.
When everyone was busy looking at the army of Angels, Mykel felt something that was enough to make his heart skip a beat. He looked around and he didn't know where it was coming from, and it was definitely not from the army of Angels. He kept looking around until Jeanne and Elena noticed something was off about him, and when they were about to ask him, he disappeared.
Nal and her alliance looked up at the army of Angels, and they were thinking about what they should do. Nyx and her alliance were also thinking the same thing, but since they weren't like Nal, they had nothing to be worried about.
"If the Angels went to banish Nal, we will use that opportunity. I want you all to get ready," Nyx said as she kept looking at the bright stars. "We might violate the Rules of the World, but if we put an excuse to stop Mykel and protect the people on Earth, we will be forgiven," Nyx added.
They all nodded their heads with understanding and nervously watched the stars.
"What if they didn't come to Nal? What if they came to stop Mykel?" Zeus asked.
"Then we will help them, and even if it cost our lives, The Lord will bring us back to life. We just have to be on his good grace and everything will be solved," Nyx answered without hesitation. "The Lord has decided to get involved in the war, whoever sided with him, there's nothing to be worried about," Nyx added as she looked at the Yggdrasil tree in the distance. "What are you going to do now, Nal? Your sweet tongue won't work anymore," Nyx said with a smile on her face.
Nal casually brought her own throne and sat in the open as she held a big jug of ale in her right hand. She emptied the jug in just a matter of a second until the army of Angels landed right in front of him. Every God, Primordial, and Comical being was avoiding the area and watching from the distance.
"I was gambling that you might visit me or not. The chance was thirty against seventy, but who would have thought that I'm so lucky," Nal said as she looked at Michael, Gabriel, Cassiel, Ramiel, Raphael, and Azrael standing in front of her. "Now. What do I owe you the pleasure?" Nal asked with a smirk as she crossed her legs.
"You know why we are here, and we want you to leave Earth now or we will use force to make you leave," Michael said as he unsheathed his sword.
"Now now. I don't think that's the right choice for you knowing what's happening right now," Nal said as she looked at Michael without showing a single fear. "I'm not your main concern at the moment, and I think you already know what your sister or whatever Uriel is to all of you have done. You're going to need all the help you can get, no?" Nal asked with her eyebrows raised.
"That's none of your concern. I'm going to ask you one last time. Are you going to leave, or not?" Michael asked as he pointed his sword at Nal and the blade was enough to make her skin sizzle from the heat.
"I would love to, but..." Nal paused as she glanced to her right and saw Nyx and the others arrive. "Do you know that Mykel possessed the same power as The Lord?" Nal whispered into Michael's ear.
Michael was shocked, and suddenly Nal put her hand on Michael's hand to show him what she knew. Michael saw the vision that Mykel showed Nal, and that vision was when he obtained The Lord's power.
Nyx who had just arrived looked at Nal and whispered something into Michael's ear that made her feel unease. She couldn't believe that Nal had something that could convince the Archangels, especially Michael.
Michael looked at Nal with a surprised expression because he was an Archangel and any tricks wouldn't work on him. What he saw was the truth, and the fact Michael knew what Uriel gave to Lucifer made him realize that the situation was way worse than he knew.
"I'm willing to work with you in exchange for letting me stay here," Nal said.
"You can't! She doesn't belong here!" Nyx shouted as she glared at Michael.
"You'll stay here until I came back," Michael said as he spread his wings and then flew into the sky.

Nal looked at Michael disappeared into space, and then sat down as she sighed. She chuckled and shook her head in disbelief and she was impressed by something.
"Mykel, you really made me indebted to you. How can you read everything like an open book and showed me this so I can deal with these angels? I have underestimated you," Nal said as she rested her head on her fist. "I'll pay you back," Nal added.
