Destroying My Own World

Chapter 235: Remnants.

"Metatron, move aside," Sasha said as she glared at Metatron with killing intent.

Metatron was taken aback when he saw Sasha's gaze and the way she spoke to him. He realized that Sasha wasn't only possessed by the Caveat Scroll, but something was also inside her.

"Are you surprised? I still can't believe it either," Lucifer said as the bruises on his body healed up. "That's not the Caveat Scroll of Annihilation, it's something more than that," Lucifer added as he spread his wings.

Sasha took a step forward but then she disappeared and suddenly everything disintegrated. Metatron couldn't see what had happened, and he was convinced to not get involved in the fight. He was trembling that The Lord allowed a mere human being to possess such power.

The moment Metatron turned around, he saw the world he was in had been destroyed. He could see the sky and saw stars and planets disappearing one after another. He wondered why he was brought there in the first place, but then he felt a presence behind him.

"Why am I not surprised to see you here," Metatron said as he looked at Loki.

Loki pulled out her dagger and spun it around in between her fingers without saying a single word. Suddenly she smiled and that was when Metatron noticed there was someone standing right behind him. It was Mykel, and before he could do anything, Mykel punched him in the chest and pierced through his back.

Metatron was a true spirit that couldn't feel pain, and he was something that could be called the limbs of The Lord just like what Lucifer had become. The difference was that Metatron not only possessed The Lord's limbs, but he also possessed The Lord's will. He didn't have a single weakness even if he was fighting against Lucifer, but that would be a different scenario when he was facing someone that had the same power as The Lord himself.

"I have been waiting for this moment, and I should thank him for bringing you back," Mykel said as he pulled something out of Metatron's chest. "So this is The Lord's will of Creation?" Mykel asked as he kicked Metatron and made him fall to the ground.

A marble with a blinding light that contained the power of creation, and whoever possessed it could create something out of thin air. More powerful than the World Egg since it didn't require anything as a sacrifice.

Metatron lost his power rapidly until his body started to turn transparent and light was sipping out of his body. He could only watch as the souls of all the Angels were in Mykel's hand. He could only pray to the Lord and ask for forgiveness for he had disappointed The Lord and let evil take something that The Lord had entrusted him.

Metatron died before he could even do his mission that The Lord had given him. His body, armor, and wings disappeared and the essence of his body was blown by the air.

Loki looked at the marble in Mykel's hand, and then suddenly Mykel offered it to her. She already knew her role, and that was to create something with marble as the material and produce something with her ability.

"I'm a bit disappointed because, in the end, I couldn't get what I want even if it's just for once," Loki said as she grabbed the marble from Mykel's hand.

"I'm sure you won't be the only one," Mykel said as he looked at the marble in Loki's hand.

Loki looked at Mykel with her eyebrows furrowed, but she brushed it off because what mattered at that moment was to consume that marble. She wasn't sure whether she would be able to withstand the power within the marble.

"You can do whatever you want with it. I'm not asking you to do something about it or use it to help me," Mykel said as he looked at Loki. "You don't have to listen to Nal's words and order, and you don't have to listen to me as well. This is your biggest moment, and you can turn everything upside down with it. I owe you nothing and you owe me nothing," Mykel added.

Loki looked at Mykel and then wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck as she looked him in the eyes.

"I will do it, but since that means you owe me for doing this, I have one condition," Loki said as she kept staring into Mykel's eyes. "I want you to do it for me rather than doing it on my own. That means we both won't owe anything," Loki continued.

Mykel snapped his fingers and they both got teleported to a different place. Loki recognized the room she was in, and then she smiled when she looked at her own bed. The bed where Loki from inside the novel spent his entire time playing with a lot of men and women.

"Why are you still dressed?" Mykel asked after he removed his suit and shirt.

"I'll make sure..." Loki paused as she spun around and undressed herself as she disappeared into thin air. "You'll enjoy it so that you won't be able to forget it," Loki continued as she stood on the bed with nothing covering her body.

(Somewhere in the vast space) Your journey continues on My Virtual Library Empire

Lucifer was out of breath as he finally managed to avoid Sasha and her unbelievable power. Although he couldn't die, if he had to suffer more than that, he would prefer to stay hidden for a little bit longer.

"My power. Have I reached the limit?" Lucifer asked as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. "Killing her wouldn't be impossible, but I need her," Lucifer said as he looked at the debris of planets that had scattered around him.

"I found you," Sasha said as she spread her wings to get rid of debris that was as big as the moon.

Lucifer looked at Sasha and wondered what he should do since he was trapped in the world inside the novel. He had nowhere to go, but then he remembered something, something that could help him.

"How could I forget," Lucifer chuckled. "Let the fun behind," Lucifer said as he spread his wings and then flew away.

Sasha followed Lucifer even if she had to go to the edge of the universe. When she saw Lucifer stop running away, that was when she realized where Lucifer had brought her to. A massive tower that pierced the sky all the way up beyond, a tower that existed in hell where all the Demon Lords lived.

"Gehenna," Sasha said as she looked down.

She was surprised there were still a lot of people there and how they entered the tower. She wondered what they were doing, but then Lucifer started to run away again and went all the way down.

The moment they both landed, thousands of people looked at them with admiration. They thought those two were God and Goddess that came to give them blessings or some sort. But before they could approach them, Lucifer released a shockwave by flapping his wings and dismembered all of them.

"This just came up to my head. The place my other half used to live for thousands of years," Lucifer said as he looked at the thirteen towers in the distance. "Funny that I forgot about this the moment my other half disappeared, but now that I'm here, I remember everything again," Lucifer added as he looked at Sasha.

Sasha looked at her surroundings and realized what Lucifer was trying to do. She didn't hear everything from Amaryllis and Hera, but she knew enough about what Mykel did after he took over the novel world.

Beams of light appeared right behind Lucifer as he attained his old form, the Lucifer from the novel. That was when Sasha felt uncomfortable when she saw Lucifer who looked like Mykel. When she was still stunned by it, eight beings came down and landed right behind Lucifer.

"You must have heard about them from Amaryllis and Hera about their existence. But looks like I'm missing one since Bhatmelec is out there," Lucifer said as he looked at the beings behind him.

Those eight beings were the replacement for the Celestial Beings that had disappeared or been consumed by both Luciel and Jeanne. They created their own brothers and sisters and became Celestial Beings that overwatched the world as independent beings that would interfere for fun to make the new game more challenging.

"You should know by now that they won't be able to stop me," Sasha said as she spread her wings.

"We will see," Lucifer said with a smirk that resembled Mykel's.
