Destroying My Own World

Chapter 236: Find peace.

Sasha was surrounded by Celestial beings and she never thought it would be that troublesome. She might have had unbelievable strength, but that was all she had, and not anything that could kill them since they possessed a lot of Kinesis types of power. Another problem was that they weren't trying to kill her and she realized they might be buying Lucifer some time.

Sasha didn't want to waste her time and decided to ignore the Celestial beings around her. She went straight to where Lucifer was, and none of them could stop her since they were too weak compared to her. When she managed to get close to Lucifer and was about to use all her strength to put him down, her heart suddenly stopped beating.

"You're too late, Sasha," Lucifer said with a smirk as he looked Sasha fell to her knees and couldn't breathe as her heart stopped beating.

"I might not be able to defeat you out there, but then I noticed something," Lucifer said as he walked toward Sasha. "We are no longer in our reality, we are inside the novel world, and what's so good about it is that The Lord won't be able to help you here," Lucifer pointed out as he grabbed Sasha's hair.

"H-how..." Sasha asked as she started to suffocate and slowly lost consciousness.

"What do you mean how? Have you forgotten something?" Lucifer asked back as he raised his eyebrows. "Do you remember that every human on Earth is bound by the system? And do you remember who runs the system?" Lucifer asked again with a huge smile on his face.

That was when Sasha realized that now The Lord couldn't help her inside the novel world, Lucifer could do anything to her by abusing the system. She had forgotten about that, and she finally remembered that she was the only one left who was bound by the system.

"I'm controlling your life now after I made you unable to use the Caveat Scroll inside your body. Without it, you're nothing but a pitiful and fragile woman," Lucifer said and then grabbed Sasha's neck as he lifted her above the ground. "Now, that nobody will come to save you, I can finally take the last emotion from you," Lucifer added as he chuckled mischievously.

Sasha desperately tried to free herself from Lucifer's grasp, and at that moment she thought why did Elena bring her to the novel world. Hundreds of thoughts were running through her mind, and she wondered if this was what Elena wanted to happen to her.

"I think this will be more fun, right?" Lucifer asked as his voice slowly changed and his appearance as well. "Wouldn't you be fine if I'm using the body and the voice of someone you loved?" Lucifer added and he had become Mykel.

Sasha started to feel fear and all kinds of emotions that she had forgotten that she had them. Her tears started to fall to Lucifer's hand, and how she was trying to ask for help. She was terrified of dying as she started to feel pain all over her body.

"That's it," Lucifer said as he took The Lord's light from inside Sasha's chest by ripping her chest and ribs. "Scream for me, Sasha," Lucifer stared into Sasha's eyes.

Lucifer released Sasha and let her fall to the ground after he got what he wanted. The light slowly covered Lucifer's body and accepted it as its vessel, and that was when Lucifer felt an immense amount of power run through his body.

"Finally, I got what I have been looking for," Lucifer said as he slowly transformed into his true form. "You were quite hard to get, Sasha. But, in the end, you can't get away from my grasp," Lucifer added and looked at Sasha who seemed to have lost the will to live.

"Now, now. Do you remember what I said, Sasha? You're going to come with me to hell since you're mine," Lucifer grabbed Sasha by the hair. "It's time to find a way to leave this place," Lucifer chuckled.

Lucifer was enjoying his time dragging Sasha's body on the boiling hot ground. She was screaming as her back and legs made sizzling sounds because she was being steamed. Her scream was like a song to Lucifer's ears and how her scream echoed throughout the vast land.

"How long are you going to drag her like that?" Mykel asked.

Lucifer glanced over his shoulder and saw Mykel standing there, staring at him with a cold gaze. Lucifer then turned around slowly as he tried to make Sasha suffer more than she should.

"She's mine, and you agreed to that," Lucifer answered. "Whatever I'm doing to her is none of your business," Lucifer added with a smirk on his face.

"Sure, that's if you want to stay here forever and be trapped in the novel world," Mykel said without showing any expression. "I can assure you that you won't be able to leave this place without my permission since I'm the one who owns this world and everyone within," Mykel continued.

"So this is how you're going to play? You brought us here and then you get everything in the end? I can see that Metatron is dead now because you made both of us busy," Lucifer asked as he removed his hand from Sasha's hair. "What's your plan, Mykel? If you answered my question, then I'll let her be since I don't really need her anymore," Lucifer added as he walked toward Mykel.

"Who knows? Even if you ask The Lord himself, I don't think he can understand what's inside my head anymore," Mykel answered. "We can have a talk all day, but are you sure you're going to let your own people die even before you can face him?" Mykel asked.

Lucifer couldn't tell since he couldn't check what was happening outside the novel world. He knew how powerful Elena was and how she could easily make anything nonexistent. It would be a massive loss if he lost them since he needed them to fight The Lord.

"Leave her and I will let you go," Mykel said with a serious expression.

Lucifer glanced at Sasha and she had been secured by Amaryllis, and then a portal appeared right in front of him. He had no choice but to let Sasha go and entered the portal without hesitation to save his brethren.

"Leave us alone," Mykel said to Amaryllis as he walked toward Sasha.

Amaryllis nodded and then disappeared after Mykel carried Sasha in his arms. Enjoy new tales from My Virtual Library Empire

Sasha was powerless and she was on the brink of death after she was exposed to the heat of Gehenna. She couldn't feel anything but pain and heat, and she didn't have any more energy to even open her eyes. When Mykel wanted to heal her wounds, she suddenly put her hand on Mykel's chest as she slowly opened her eyes.

"I'm tired of all this," Sasha said weakly as her eyes glimmered in tears. "If only I didn't meet you, maybe all of this wouldn't happen. I wish you didn't exist so you wouldn't ruin my life like this, Mykel," Sasha continued.

"Is that what you want?" Mykel asked.

"I don't know..." Sasha started to sob. "I love you, and I can't hate you for what you did to me. Even if I could turn back time. I would choose to be with you again," Sasha looked at Mykel with tears covering her face.

"All I want is for this to end. I don't want to be used by anyone anymore," Sasha said as her eyes started to get heavy. "I want to find my own peace," Sasha continued as she closed her eyes.

"I will give you peace. You can go to sleep now, and I can promise you nobody will hurt you anymore," Mykel said as he looked at Sasha's chest where her heart became weak and slowly stopped beating.

Sasha slowly opened her eyes and she looked confused because she was on the bed with a warm blanket covering her body. She looked around and realized she was in her old apartment, and then she saw Mykel coming out of the bathroom with a boxer and a towel on his head. She was shocked to see Mykel, the old Mykel when he was still skinny and nerdy.

"Good morning! Or should I say good afternoon?" Mykel said as he hurriedly walked to the bed. "I was outside this morning, and I brought you a cup of coffee," Mykel added as he grabbed the cup of coffee from the nightstand.

Sasha was still shocked and confused but she took the coffee from Mykel's skinny hand. She suddenly started crying and that made Mykel panicked and worried.

"Hey? What's wrong?" Mykel asked as he wrapped his arm around Sasha. "Did you have a bad dream?" Mykel asked as he frowned.

Sasha put the coffee down and immediately hugged Mykel so tightly and it felt so real for a dream. Someone came out of the bathroom, and Sasha looked at another Mykel, but the future Mykel that was carrying her earlier. She looked at him and looked at his mouth because he said something, she then started to sob and looked at him as she nodded her head.

"I love you too," Sasha replied quietly.

Mykel smiled gently and then disappeared.

"Did you say something?" Mykel asked as he looked at Sasha.

Sasha shook her head as she looked at Mykel and then kissed him so passionately.

"I love you. That's what I said," Sasha said as she sniffled and chuckled.

"I love you too, Sasha," Mykel replied with a gentle smile, the same smile that the future Mykel showed her earlier.
