Destroying My Own World

Chapter 240: Lucky accident.

Lucifer was adapting to the power he possessed, and he slowly understood the power inside him. He took his time to master it and shared it with his trusted friends, including Lilith. He didn't care about what happened outside hell, but he was bothered when he felt The Lord's gaze.

"Mykel and the others have made a move, but they're not going to fight The Lord," Lilith said as she possessed the third eye that Lucifer bestowed upon her. "I don't know where are they going, but Nal is the one who led them," Lilith continued.

Lucifer opened his eyes and they were all-white with no pupils, they glowed and he could see everything. He had reached fifty percent of Mykel's current state, but his power grew rapidly compared to Mykel's since Lucifer had possessed both The Lord's physical body and [Supremacy].

The problem was that he couldn't see Nal's thoughts anymore, and he knew what had happened.

"They're planning something," Lucifer said as he looked up.

(Somewhere in space)

"This is like a fresh breeze of air," Nal said as she looked at her own body. "So you guys possess those powerful abilities just because of this woman over here?" Nal asked as she looked at Amaryllis.

"Your new body should be unaffected by The Lord's will anymore now, but your soul, I need to do some modification before you can be completely detached from him," Amaryllis explained as she looked at Nal. "That includes you too, Odin," Amaryllis looked at Odin.

"Take your time. As long as I'm in this new body, and Mykel around me, I feel safe from The Lord's grasp," Odin replied. "I know that my knowledge isn't as good as Nal's, but I believe I can help you to dig the information about him," Odin continued.

"That's why we are bringing you with us. If you're useless, then I will get rid of you before you know it," Aurea said as she looked at Odin and readied to kill him.

Nal suddenly stopped and looked at the galaxies in the distance as she counted them with her eyes. She knew the universe like the back of her hand, and to be able to achieve that, she must have been exploring it countless times. Knowing that the stars were a lot more than grains of sand on Earth.

If they had to do it without Nal's help, that would take an eternity, and even with Nal's help, they were still struggling to find the evidence. Thankfully, Mykel could see what was inside each galaxy with his knowledge from [Supremacy] skill. He could tell the details of the planets, the solar systems, and everything that was hidden in there.

Seeing Mykel and Nal discuss everything just the two of them made Elena feel left out. She didn't like it and so she flew up high and released all her life energy and covered the galaxies around and those that were far away.

It happened in an instant and that shocked everyone how she could do such a thing in a blink of an eye. Of course, Nal and Mykel knew why Elena suddenly did that, and Nal couldn't help but chuckle because it was cute.

"I have covered everything, now tell me what are you looking for and I will find it for you," Elena said as she floated next to Mykel.

Nal grabbed Elena's hand and she used her [Ice Memories] skill to transfer memories through coldness. Elena could see the memories of Nal when she was looking for answers, and at one moment, the moment that made Nal believe there was something beyond.

Elena could see debris as small as grains of sand scattered around the space. The debris looked fresh as if it had just been destroyed a few moments ago and that was when she could feel a bizarre presence.

"Do you feel it? That strange feeling, it's not ominous, and yet it makes you feel uncomfortable," Nal asked as she looked into Elena's eyes.

Elena snapped back to reality and immediately flew up high to find that same bizarre feeling that she had just felt. She looked around and realized she didn't sense that feeling, so she expanded her life energy again and covered hundreds of galaxies with it.

"Have you ever considered making a child with that daughter of yours?" Nal asked and covered the space with [Cold Mist] to prevent anyone from hearing her, and could be used to create an illusion of manipulating the voice she produced and making it different from what she actually said.

"I never had a thought about it," Mykel answered without hesitation. "I don't think I would have time to do that either," Mykel added.

"Excuses, but I suggest you consider it," Nal said as she looked at Elena. "If you have The Lord's power and she has the power to reverse creation, what do you think the baby you both would make can possess?" Nal asked as she looked at Mykel with curiosity.

"I just impregnated your daughter not too long ago, and it was hard to get it done. I would think about it, so stop asking that question because it's really not the topic I want to hear right now," Mykel answered and looked at Nal with a serious expression.

Elena came back and she shook her head because she couldn't find that bizarre feeling anywhere. She kept expanding her life energy and hundreds of thousands of galaxies were covered in her life energy.

"Give me your hand," Mykel said as he reached out his hand at Elena.

Elena held Mykel's hand, and then he used Elena's life energy as vessels for his limbs. He could see and feel billions of planets through Elena's power alone, and then he enchanted it and made him able to see further than what Elena had covered.

"Look at those two works. I still can't believe if those two work together, they can't kill The Lord," Odin said as he watched Mykel and Elena.

"Perhaps, there were beings that tried to overthrow him before, long before Angels and us got created. They might be as strong as those two, or perhaps stronger than them," Nal pointed out with her arms crossed. "If the knowledge that we know only started the moment we were born, and that's the Law of the World, don't you find it suspicious? Since we are forbidden to get all the knowledge before us?" Nal asked with her eyebrows raised.

Odin hummed and understood what Nal was trying to say since he sacrificed himself to attain knowledge about the universe. Luckily he was allowed to keep them since he sacrificed himself, or he was allowed to keep them because what he knew was something trivial to The Lord.

"We found it," Mykel said as he looked at Nal. "We need to hurry," Mykel added and warped everyone with him immediately.

Everyone saw a planet, small enough that it would only fit the Asia continent. Mykel immediately wrapped the planet with a barrier, and then Amaryllis did the same thing and put a bigger barrier above it. Beldathiel did the same thing and made the whole planet indestructible to make sure The Lord couldn't destroy it.

Before they could enter the planet, the barriers were destroyed, and Beldathiel suffered internal wounds that were enough to kill her. Seeing that, Elena wrapped the planet and brought the whole thing into the novel world. She then brought everyone into the novel world after she was sure the planet was still in one piece.

"Nice save," Mykel said as he pinched Elena's cheek with a gentle smile on his face.

"But this only alarms him and I believe he will get rid of the other evidence that is left in the world," Elena replied as she looked at the dwarf planet that she brought.

"This is better than nothing," Mykel answered and watched Beldathiel being revived after she took a devastating blow from The Lord himself.

The moment Beldathiel woke up, she immediately flew toward Mykel and wrapped her arms around his neck. It startled him and confused everyone, but then she had a huge smile on her face that Mykel himself had never seen before.

"Mykel, it got unlocked!" Beldathiel said in excitement.

"What is?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows furrowed.

Beldathiel removed her arms around Mykel's neck and pulled out the broken dice from thin air. That was when Mykel realized the dice were a part of the Lord's will, so Mykel reached out and tried to grab something inside the dice.

Everyone looked at the thing that Mykel held, and none of them were overwhelmed by it. Even though it was The Lord's will, none of them were affected by its presence. In the first place, the will looked like a small marble, but it was old and dirty with lots of damage around it.

"That looks like The Lord's will, but why this one looks so weak?" Amaryllis asked as she looked at it from up close.

Mykel didn't say anything and kept staring at it because he could see the history behind that will. He suddenly smiled and chuckled in disbelief that all this time, he had possessed something like that.

"This is indeed The Lord's will, but this is the lost will, the forgotten one," Mykel answered as he looked at Amaryllis. "This can help us, and I need you to do something about this," Mykel said and gave the marble to Amaryllis.

"With pleasure!" Amaryllis smiled happily as she looked at the marble.

"That's a lucky accident," Nal said as she looked at Mykel.

"It surely is," Mykel nodded his head in agreement.
