Destroying My Own World

Chapter 245: Old lovers.

Lucifer and all the demon army arrived at the garden, and he was surprised that nobody came to fight them. He thought The Lord would bring the Angels back to life after what happened on Earth, but he didn't expect it to be that easy.

"No matter how I look at it, this is just too suspicious," Lilith said and looked at the giant tree where the Archangels used to gather. "What do you think? Should we wait and see or just go straight to meet him?" Lilith looked at Lucifer with his calm expression, staring at the sky.

"He has no reason to bring them back to life anymore. Someone is by his side right now," Lucifer answered.

"Who?" Satan asked.

"Mara. That woman is right by his side right now, and she's more powerful than the last time we saw her," Lucifer answered as he pulled out a sword from thin air. "It would be trouble some for me to fight both of them at the same time, so you all deal with her," Lucifer said.

Lucifer explained to them about Mara's power like how Mykel explained it to his team. After hearing about Mara's [Predominance] skill, they realized how powerful Mara could be knowing she was beside The Lord.

Lilith looked at the Princes of Hell and they all shared the same look. They wondered if they could handle Mara knowing she could easily overpower them with her skill alone.

"You don't have to be afraid. I will prepare something for all of you," Lucifer said as he walked toward the tree.

Lucifer touched the tree and it made a huge crack in the middle, and then he extracted something from it. He forged the essence with his fire which was enough to outshine the light around them. All the fallen Angels knew what he was doing, but they never thought he would dare to destroy the tree's essence.

They watched Lucifer make use of the essence and turn them into weapons for the fallen Angels to use. The essence of the tree was enough to create all kinds of weapons and they were all as powerful as the ones that Jeanne and the others had.

"We are fighting against him, might as well take all the resources that he used on this place," Lucifer said after he gave everyone a weapon. "She might be powerful, but she won't be able to fight all of you at once, and don't use any skill against her because it would only backfire on you," Lucifer warned as he looked at Lilith and the others.

"You're going to fight him on your own?" Asmodeus asked. "You're risking yourself, and we don't want you to lose again," Asmodeus continued.

"I wouldn't go that far. I have a plan and I will make sure Mara can't be near him," Lucifer answered with confidence.

Before they could even spread their wings, they heard a very loud trumpet coming from above. They knew what it was, and it was exactly like what happened during their first rebellion.

"I guess I was wrong. He did bring them all back to life, the emotionless and lifeless Angels," Lucifer said as he looked at wings above the clouds. "Prepare for battle, we are going to feast on their blood and flesh," Lucifer smiled in excitement.

There were more Angels than it was supposed to be, there were at least hundreds of thousands of them coming down toward them. The demons didn't hesitate to charge at the Angels since they had been waiting for that moment for a very long time.

The war was almost one-sided because the demons were no longer the same demons from before. A single low-rank demon could handle three to four low-rank Angels like Virtues, Powers, and Principalities.

"There's no need for us to join them. We don't see Michael and the others either here," Leviathan said as she looked at the Angels who were overwhelmed by the demons.

"We can go straight to his Kingdom, Lucifer," Beelzebub suggested as he grabbed a whole arm that fell to the garden and then he ate it whole. "I can see the result of the war here. We don't have to waste our time watching them," Beelzebub continued and took a leg that fell right in front of him.

"He might want us to think like that, but who cares about that anymore? We are prepared for everything, let's move," Lucifer said as he spread his wings.

They all spread their wings and flew to The Lord's Kingdom where he ruled over the universe and watched everything from there. The Angels tried to stop them, but the demons didn't hesitate to butcher them and mutilated them.

Lucifer looked at the Angels and the blank expressions they made even in the situation they were in. It was sickening to see him knowing such powerful beings didn't even possess any emotion. A disposable creature and he was furious that he used to be like them and that his existence wasn't even significant in The Lord's presence.

When they landed at the front gate of The Lord's Kingdom, it gave them a bad taste in their mouths because they remembered every detail of that day. The gate was protected by two Metatrons and they had been waiting for Lucifer's and the others' arrival.

"I'll handle those two," Mammon said so casually as he walked to the front. "I should be strong enough to keep them busy," Mammon continued.

Belphegor started to transform his body, his hair became long and silky, his veins and bones on his neck turned gold and lit up his pale white skin down to his chest. His body became muscular and his hands were turned into fists made of gold and the golden veins on his fists were popped out up to his shoulders.

"I have forgotten how sexy he was," Asmodeus said as she bit her long nail and stared at the muscular back of Mammon and his magnificent gold twelve wings.

Both Metatrons pulled out their swords on each of their hands and then flew toward Mammon with the speed of light. The only thing that Mammon did was raise his hands and use his arms to block the attacks. His skin was strong enough to stop four swords from cutting off his arms, and then he casually pushed them back with his arms.

Mammon punched and kicked them away from the gate so Lucifer and the others could enter the Kingdom. He alone was indeed enough to make both Metatrons busy with him and they couldn't get their eyes off him.

Lucifer and the others looked at thousands of pillars above the clouds all the way up to the sky. The sky was the ceilings and the walls, and there were thousands of doors that led to different places. They were standing in the vast hall where Angels used to gather and speak highly about The Lord.

"Go to the garden, Lilith, I need you to do something for me," Lucifer said without looking back and focused on the stairs in the far distance. "You know what you should do," Lucifer added.

Lilith raised her eyebrows for a moment and then she understood what Lucifer meant. She then casually walked to one of the doors as she hummed with a big mischievous smile on her face.

Lilith walked into the door and she remembered the cool breeze and the scent of flowers hitting her face. She looked at the beautiful and unworldly place where giant trees, rivers, mountains, and lakes existed in that place. The only place humans went to after they died, was heaven.

Her presence in heaven turned the beautiful heaven into the land of the dead as the grass, flowers, and trees around her started to dry up and die. She looked at the humans who were enjoying their time there with beautiful men and women that The Lord had created to satisfy their needs.

Lilith reached the lake and saw a man and a woman enjoying the view as their legs dipped into the lake. Everyone in heaven was unaware of the situation outside, and that made her so jealous and angry at the same time. Discover more stories at My Virtual Library Empire

"Long time no see, Adam," Lilith said as she stood right behind them.

A man with curly brown hair turned around and he was surprised to see Lilith in heaven. Before he could open his mouth, Lilith had already cut off his head and the woman next to him.

"I miss you so much," Lilith chuckled mischievously and then kissed Adam's lips as she held the head. "Now for you, you can die, Eve," Lilith said and burned Eve's body and head until nothing was left behind.

"I might need to borrow your ribs, Adam. So you can stay here and enjoy the scenery since you won't be needing your body for that," Lilith said as she dropped Adam's head and then grabbed his body. "It's nice to see you again, goodbye," Lilith walked away with the body in her arms.
