"...Your self-introduction is truly masterful! Are you sure you're a bachelor's degree graduate and not a high school dropout?" Although the little fox knew Mu Tianyuan's name, hearing his self-introduction still astonished her. It was the first time she had ever heard someone introduce their name like that!

"I could use classical Chinese, but I'm afraid it would be too profound," Mu Tianyuan rolled his eyes and replied. Then he asked, "What about you? What's your name?"

Don't get him wrong, he was having a lot of fun with her, but only now did Mu Tianyuan realize he never knew the little fox's name. Mu Tianyuan couldn't believe that such a magical fox—who could retort, guide others, knew history, the Four Great Classical Novels, Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, Investiture of the Gods, poetry, and prose, and furthermore, was well-versed in the Four Books and Five Classics, understood propriety, righteousness, integrity, and shame, yet threatened to pee on his face—didn't have a name of its own.

The little fox was silent for a long time after hearing Mu Tianyuan's words, then gritted her teeth and said, "...My name is Wangcai..."

"Wangcai? You're a fox, and your name is Wangcai? Which idiot gave you that stupid name? What about the doggies?" Mu Tianyuan immediately burst out laughing upon hearing the name. But the next second, Mu Tianyuan couldn't laugh anymore. He saw the little fox gritting her teeth and saying, "Wasn't it you, you idiot, who gave me that name?!"

The previous second, Mu Tianyuan was laughing at the idiot who named the little fox Wangcai. But when he heard the little fox say that he was the one who named her, he completely stopped laughing. So, the idiot who named the little fox after all that talk was actually him?!

After understanding the truth, Mu Tianyuan immediately asked the little fox in surprise, "Wait a minute! Wait a minute! You're saying I gave you that name?!"

"Yes, you did. Do you have anything you want to say now?" The little fox stared at Mu Tianyuan, gritting her teeth, asking word by word. She desperately wanted to know what Mu Tianyuan thought after finding out he was that idiot!

"What are you talking about? When did I ever give you a name?" Mu Tianyuan felt incredibly wronged. He hadn't done anything at all! From the moment he met this little fox, he had never once brought up the topic of naming her. But now, how did such an unexpected accusation suddenly fall on him? Mu Tianyuan declared he absolutely would not take this blame!

"If not you, then who?! Think about it, what did you do when you played games?!" The little fox leaped onto Mu Tianyuan's leg, gnashing her teeth and glaring at him, yelling. Then, still not appeased, she jumped up, whipping Mu Tianyuan's head with her tail, yelling, "Think about it! Think carefully!"

"Stop, stop, stop! Don't whip me, I'm thinking carefully, I'm thinking carefully!" Mu Tianyuan said, protecting his old face. After the little fox stopped whipping his face, Mu Tianyuan hadn't even finished thinking when Eri Kisaki, beside them, asked in surprise, "Little Mu, what's wrong?"

Eri Kisaki had no idea what was happening. Just a moment ago, the man and the fox were fine. How did the fox suddenly start whipping Mu Tianyuan's face with its tail?

Of course, if Eri Kisaki had swapped places with the little fox, she would probably understand why the little fox acted like that… For a fox spirit to be named Wangcai, probably no fox could tolerate that…

"See? I told you she's fierce…" Mu Tianyuan said, rubbing his face and smiling at the surprised Eri Kisaki. Eri Kisaki initially didn't quite believe him. After all, how fierce could a little fox be? But seeing the little fox's actions just now, Eri Kisaki nodded repeatedly. Little Mu wasn't lying. This little fox isn't big, but it's really fierce. It almost whipped out a four-four beat just now! Never mind if it hurt his face, just being hit in the face by a fox would probably leave a psychological scar!

Eri Kisaki didn't know if the little fox's tail whip hurt Mu Tianyuan's face, but Mu Tianyuan had a lot to say about it. Mu Tianyuan smiled at Eri Kisaki, then looked down at the still angry little fox and said via their private channel, "I say, were you raised on elephant milk? How can you be so strong! If it weren't for my thick skin, you'd have disfigured me!"

"Hmph, I'm still holding back. Otherwise, I could whip you to death, believe it or not?" The little fox glared at Mu Tianyuan angrily. Mu Tianyuan immediately nodded at the little fox's words. "I believe you! Thank you for sparing my life, mighty heroine!"

If a fox spirit were to have little strength, that would be truly ghostly! If she didn't have the strength to whip people to death, then all her spiritual cultivation would be for naught!

Of course, to be precise, this fellow wasn't just a fox spirit...

"Did you remember?" The little fox ignored Mu Tianyuan's flattery and glared at him, asking. Mu Tianyuan shook his head very sincerely. "Not yet…"

As soon as Mu Tianyuan finished speaking, he saw the little fox's tail twitching again and immediately said, "Wait, I'm thinking, I'm thinking…" After a moment of hard recollection, Mu Tianyuan suddenly realized with sorrow that he might indeed have to take the blame for this. Because he finally remembered that when he was playing a game, the guiding spirit, upon appearing, required the player to give her a name. And the name he gave her at the time was the well-known name Wangcai…

"Did you remember?" Seeing the change in Mu Tianyuan's expression, the little fox asked irritably, rolling its eyes. Mu Tianyuan nodded awkwardly. "Yes… I remembered… Um, is it too late to change the name now?"

"It's not too late. You can change it anytime you want," the little fox replied, wagging its tail. Upon learning that the little fox's name could be changed, Mu Tianyuan finally breathed a sigh of relief. Then he suddenly looked at the little fox curiously and asked, "Since that's the case, why didn't you just change your name when you first introduced yourself?"

Little fox: "...Oh, right!"

Mu Tianyuan: "…"

Subsequently, the man and the fox engaged in a deep discussion about the name change. Names like Jiao Na, Ying Ning, Xin Shi Niang, Daji were discussed for a long time. Eventually, the two discovered a commonality: it seemed they both had no talent for naming! After discussing names of historical fox characters, none of the names they came up with were suitable! Finally, Mu Tianyuan said somewhat helplessly, "How about you call yourself Tutu? What do you think of Hu Tutu?"

"Not good! How can someone as smart as me be called Hu Tutu (meaning muddled)?" The little fox immediately retorted. Mu Tianyuan said helplessly, "Then what do you plan to call yourself? Hu Yifei? Or Hu Yidao?"

"Neither is good! I need to think carefully!" The little fox refused without hesitation. Naming was a big deal; she had to think about it thoroughly! Then the little fox wagged its tail and said, "How about this: for now, I'll just be called Tutu. What do you think about changing it later when I think of a better name? Or when I'm in a good mood?"

"Can you be so casual about this?" Mu Tianyuan asked, his mouth twitching as he looked at the little fox. It was the first time he had ever heard of a name being temporary, to be changed later when a better one came to mind!

"What's the problem? I decide my own name. Anyway, it's not like I need to register it, so what's the rush?" The little fox replied with righteous indignation. Mu Tianyuan, however, couldn't refute her. If it were a human, it wouldn't be convenient to change names every now and then, but this creature, even though she claimed to have studied the Four Books and Five Classics, was still a fox! He had never heard of any department requiring foxes to register their household details!

After pleasantly deciding this matter, the little fox looked at Mu Tianyuan and said, "By the way, shouldn't you ask this stupid woman where she's taking us? Aren't you afraid she'll sell us to a zoo?"

"She'd only take you to a zoo," Mu Tianyuan replied, then turned to Eri Kisaki and asked, "Aunt Eri, where are we going now?"

"First, we'll pick up Ran and have dinner together, then I'll take you home," Eri Kisaki answered with a smile as she drove. Mu Tianyuan nodded after hearing this. "Dinner is fine, but as for going home, where is my home?"

"You child, don't tell me you don't even remember your own home?" Eri Kisaki chuckled when she heard Mu Tianyuan's words. Mu Tianyuan really wanted to nod and say he truly forgot where his home was, because his memory simply had no recollection of his home! Even if she told him to go back to Kanagawa right now, he wouldn't know where his front door was!

But Mu Tianyuan couldn't say that. Fortunately, Eri Kisaki just imagined that Mu Tianyuan had forgotten because too much time had passed, so she began to explain. As Eri Kisaki explained, Mu Tianyuan learned that when he was young, his parents used to live in Tokyo. His parents bought a house at that time, and it was even not far from the Mouri family's house. That's how they got to know the Mouri family. Later, after Mu Tianyuan graduated from elementary school, his father moved to Kanagawa for work, but they didn't sell the house in Tokyo. This time, Mu Tianyuan was returning to live in his old house.

After some casual chatting, Mu Tianyuan learned that his parents had originally asked Kogoro Mouri to pick him up. However, Kogoro Mouri had gotten drunk and was probably sobering up in his detective agency right now! Fortunately, Eri Kisaki, his mother's good friend, thoughtfully called the agency and learned that Mu Tianyuan had been stood up by Uncle Kogoro. She then drove to the train station to pick up Mu Tianyuan. Otherwise, if it hadn't been for Eri Kisaki, his mother's good friend, Mu Tianyuan probably would have been left to wander the streets...
