Chapter 1338: Not A Mistake
Just as Enel stepped forward, he paused. A strange ripple passed through the air.
His senses screamed.
Something descended.
Something dangerous.
It was familiar, oddly so—like a dream he had long forgotten. No, it was deeper than that. Something within him resonated with it, but it felt like it had not riped, or better still, transformed.
Then again, buried beneath that familiarity was raw threat. It slashed into reality like a rift.
Allison felt threatened too.
Her instincts reacted before her mind could.
Shhhhhk!
Her claws burst from her hands just in time to intercept a blade the size of a car, falling from above like judgment.
BOOM.
The impact shattered the crystalline bridge beneath her, hurling her into the ground. A crater spread from the point of impact, laced with flickers of golden and prismatic energy. Her back arched with pain, but she was already rising—fangs bared, claws dripping with traces of cosmic energy.
She looked up at the one who had struck her.
The figure floated down slowly, posture regal, presence overwhelming. He was beautiful, devastatingly so—terrible and divine in equal measure.
A tall young man, he bore horns that twisted like royal crowns, shimmering in hues of deep crimson and dark platinum. His skin was smooth and sunlit, his eyes glowing like two supernovae—a fusion of gold and indigo. His long coat of flowing astral fabric floated around him like it defied time itself. Everything about him pulsed with raw, cosmic dominance.
"I will only warn you once," he said, his voice rich with disdain. "No one treads the Rainbow Bridge unannounced. This domain is sacred."
He turned to Love, who was already rushing toward him.
"Brother—stop! They are guests!" Love cried, arms wide in protest.
But before she could reach, Enel raised a hand gently.
"Let her," he said. "If that's who I think it is… Allison can handle this."
Allison's body tensed, her rage rippling through the air.
Honestly, she hated the idea that she had been pushed back and forth by individuals that were just too abnormal.
There were the individuals from the false heaven, the angel Uriel, and now this.
There was only so much she could take without exploding.
This one had presented himself as the perfect stress relief ball.
"You dare attack me without cause?" her frown was deep.
"I guard this threshold," the horned Entity responded calmly. "You did not pass the Gate of Song. You bypassed the Veil. You… are invaders."
Allison growled, her fangs lengthening.
"You're going to regret treating me like prey."
And then it began.
With a burst of her magic, Allison's body surged upward, transforming mid-air.
Fur as white as fallen starlight covered her entire form. Her claws—long, black, and gleaming with obsidian fire—hummed with cosmic energy. Her eyes turned into mirrors reflecting all light, and in one leap she launched into the sky.
The Entity known as Pride raised his hand, a spear of radiant matter forming instantly.
They clashed.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Each strike tore ripples through the air. Every collision of claw and blade bent light and space around them.
Pride hurled meteor blades, each of them burning with stellar flame—but Allison danced through them on air, her werewolf body running through the sky like it was ground. Her claws swiped and left trails of shattered color behind.
"You fight like a beast," Pride taunted, twirling his spear. "I knew it was the right thing to cut you down."
"And you... like a child " Allison spat.
Their next clash split the horizon. The rainbow beneath flickered, threatening to collapse.
But Allison didn't slow down. With a spin, she vanished, reappearing behind Pride, who twisted just in time to block—
Too late.
CRACK!
Her claws hooked into his shoulder and spun him downward, crashing him into the bridge below. The colors of the realm trembled.
Pride groaned, rising—but a claw pressed against his throat. Her teeth bared, ready to end it.
"Yield," she growled, eyes glowing like stars
But before she could move further—
"Enough!" Love's voice cut through the tension like a bell.
In a single blink, she was between them, her body glowing like the first sunrise of the world. With a wave of her hand, both combatants were gently pulled apart.
"You've both made your point."
Pride stood, brushing off golden dust from his coat. He looked at Allison with a mixture of irritation and something else—respect.
"You're strong. Too strong to be a mistake."
Love sighed as she turned to the others, gently gesturing to the horned being beside her.
"Forgive him. He's… brash. Overprotective."
She smiled faintly and said with warmth:
"This is Pride—my twin brother. He is the Guardian of the Rainbow Bridge."
Enel raised a brow. 'PRIDE' he thought to himself as he watched Love berate her brother again and again.
Even Allison looked to him as they passed messages in their minds.
"According to the records, isn't the twin brother of Love... Hatred!?"
Enel nodded. "Yes it is."
Enel remembered the books he had read about the Rainbow Bridge. But more than that, he remembered the memories he had gotten from lucifer when he tried to take over his body.
Lucifer Morningstar has arrived in the Rainbow Bridge requesting for the pain he felt for the loss of Adam be taken from him.
Unfortunately, love could only give. She never took.
Lucifer in his rage attacked, and Love's twin brother tried to defend.
Lucifer reaped out his heart. Annoyed at himself for what he had done, he left the place.
Love held her brother in her arms with tears. It was here that she plucked out her heart and halved it, giving it to him.
One look at Pride, and Enel understood. Pride was the Entity that would become Hate.
But now, he looked at the backs of the two siblings as they led them forward. Their smiles, their closeness... he sighed at this.
Love and Pride guided Enel and Allison into the village nestled beyond—a radiant place suspended above the folds of light and time.
It wasn't built of brick or stone but of woven beams of color, formed from emotion, memory, and divine resonance. The entire village seemed to sing softly, as if the place itself was alive and rejoicing.
The moment they entered, entities began to gather.
They came in varying forms—some in humanoid shapes adorned with flower petals and dew; others as glimmering beasts of stardust and laughter. They brought garlands, glowing fruits, and even crystalized clouds that dissolved into sweet mist when touched.
One entity, draped in robes made of rainbow wind, handed Enel a shining orb.
"To welcome strangers who carry the scent of time upon them," the being said warmly, bowing. "May you never be lost."
It was all smiles. All warmth. All purity.
But as they walked through the crowd, Enel's sharp gaze noticed something. Not a single presence around them was born of sorrow, fear, hatred, or despair. There was no sadness here. No depression. No rage. No loneliness. It was as though those emotions didn't exist.
"Makes sense…" Enel murmured to himself. "Sin hasn't come into the world yet. The One Above All Truly made it a perfect world."
Now, Enel truly understood what it was meant by 'He created the world, and he called it good.'
Lucifer was truly the origin of all the problems.
Allison glanced at him but said nothing.
The group continued, weaving past cascading waterfalls made of light, past floating homes suspended on beams of joy, until at last, they arrived at a glowing crystalline cottage nestled beside a garden of low singing blossoms.
This was Love's home.
Inside, it felt like entering the essence of comfort itself. The air smelled faintly of rain on warm earth and something else—something impossible to name, like a memory from childhood that was never yours.
Love offered them snacks—bowls of shimmering fruit that seemed to sing gentle notes with every bite. Allison took hers gratefully, smiling faintly. Enel remained quiet.
And then, after they were seated and the room had stilled, Love turned slowly.
Her gaze was calm, but beneath it was weight. Knowledge. Burden.
She looked directly at Enel.
"You need it, don't you?" she asked softly.
"Power."
A silence passed.
"Power to stop the Morningstar."
The words struck deep.
Enel didn't answer.
But his silence was loud.
And then she spoke up. "I know you come from another Time. Trust me... Your arrival here, is not a mistake."
