Chapter 1339: Die For Lenny To Get Power
Enel's eyes locked on Love, a peculiar light behind them—curious, guarded, but sharp.
She met his gaze with warmth. And then she sighed, her chest rising softly, her posture easing into something ancient.
"I understand," she said. "More than you know."
She turned slowly, her bare feet gliding across the crystalline floor with a grace that belonged to beings before time. Her voice carried—light but weighty—as though every word passed through eons before touching the air.
"Many don't know this… but when the first sun rose upon creation—when its light kissed the breathless void for the very first time—that's when we were born. My brother and I."
She glanced to the side where Pride, her twin, now sat quietly, his gaze cast downward in respectful silence.
"Love and Pride. The first living things. Born not from stars or flesh… but from the emotions of the One Above All Himself. His love, for the world He made. And His pride, for what it could become."
She turned back to them, eyes glowing with the memory of a beginning so ancient even the stones of the universe had forgotten.
"But unlike my brother," she added, "I could see farther. I could feel more."
And then she waved a single delicate hand.
From the air, a crystalline arrow shimmered into existence. Not conjured—called. As if it had always been there, just waiting for its moment to arrive.
The instant it appeared, Enel felt it.
A pull within his chest. A resonance that hummed through his ribs and bones like music only his soul could hear. A response—deep and intimate—from the arrow already lodged inside him, hidden for so long in his Satan System.
Allison gasped, her eyes unable to leave the dancing arrow in the air. It twisted, glowed, sang, and flared like a divine compass.
Love turned to them both, her tone now gentle… reverent.
"This," she said, "is my weapon. The Arrow of Meaning. I am aware 'YOU' call it something else. My brother and I were given just this one. Like we shared our birth, we share this one. But most of the time, he leaves me with it. He enjoys the sword more. This allowed me to learned and wield it far more."
"It can search the essence of anything or anyone. It finds meaning. In souls. In objects. In events. Even in time itself. And once, long ago… I used it to look into the far future."
Her voice faltered. Her hand lowered.
And then, from the most radiant being in the cosmos, a single tear fell. Quiet. Heavy. Pure.
The first tear ever shed by an Entity.
Enel stood speechless.
Allison gripped his arm, but even she was too stunned to speak.
Love wiped the tear away with a handkerchief spun from light and thread of stardust. Then she turned and pressed it softly into Allison's hand.
"Keep it," she said softly. "You'll need it someday."
Allison clutched it carefully, the weight of it somehow far heavier than its gossamer weave.
Love stepped forward. Her eyes now brimmed with something deeper—understanding. She reached out and cupped Enel's face in both her hands. Her fingers were warm, and her touch was that of a thousand mothers.
"I know who you really are, Enel... Lenny Tales."
He didn't flinch, but his eyes hardened.
"And I know how far you've come. How much pain you've carried. You've borne the chaos of your father… and yet here you stand, not broken—but whole."
"You've grown, even if you cannot see it."
Her smile was full of pride.
"Once, the chaos in you reigned. You were wild. Unshaped. Dangerous. But now… look at you. The very mission your father gave you, to be a weapon—has made you something else."
Enel's brows pulled slightly.
"A weapon?"
She smiled wider, brushing her thumb gently over his cheek.
"No, love. A hero."
That word.
Enel pulled away, brows raised, blinking.
"Hero?" He wanted to laugh at himself. Once, in his old world, perhaps he might have thought himself that. But not after finding out Lucifer's plan for him.
She nodded.
"You know, your bethrothed—Death wasn't wrong. You are the universe's ruin. But if you search your soul, if you dare… you'll see—you are also its savior."
A silence fell.
Allison said nothing, but she moved closer to him. Her hand found his.
The air shifted.
Love clapped her hands once, breaking the stillness, her smile becoming playful once again.
"Now. Let's talk about what you really came for."
She floated gently to the far side of the room, crystalline walls parting to reveal a glowing dais of symbols.
"You want power. Power to stop the Morningstar. Good news… there's one way."
She turned her head slightly, casting them both a bright glance.
"And lucky for you… it just might kill two birds with one stone... But you cant do it alone. Not without Her." She pointed to Alison.
Allison raised a brow. "Me?"
Love nodded, "Now... you came to this era for the Morningstar's brother, Michael to help, because you lack power. But with this, you will get both."
"Wait a minute." Enel stopped her. "If we can get Michael, why would I still need power."
"Simple. Because as much as Michael is capable of beating Lucifer as he has done before, it is not his destiny to do it again. Even more..."
'I doubt he can do it again.' She thought to herself.
"He cannot kill the Morningstar—only punish him. But we all know that will not solve anything. Lucifer is too stubborn, and because he is a being that exists outside time in origin, he will bud his time and plot for a cone back, even if it takes him a million years."
"Bit should you be doing doing this? Aren't you supposed to be the representation of Love for all living beings?" Allison asked.
Love nodded, "I am. But being 'Love' does not equate stupidity."
Allison quickly apologised.
Love shook her. "There is no need. Besides, for this to happen, Lenny to get power— you will have to die."
