Chapter 1342: Lenny Tales Vents
Love placed her head on that of the hell beast and sent memories of the future into its head.
"I see..." Its one big inverted eye glowing in understanding. "In that case, we shall aid you."
The ground trembled as the Hell Beasts bowed low, allowing Enel, Allison, and Love to mount them.
Their scales burned with an inner fire, their eyes pulsing with centuries of forsaken power. Without needing command, the beasts rose in unison and bellowed—deep, guttural howls that echoed through every valley of the damned.
Portals tore open before them.
Nine shimmering rifts, each a different hue of darkness, pulsed as they moved—each one a layer of Hell.
As they passed through the first, then second, then third, Love explained with a solemn tone:
"My power is limited here. I am Love, yes, but Hell does not accept me. Not fully. Not in this place. Hell is the only place in existence that is without love. Just as the One Above All intended it. Had it been Purgatory, or Eden, I could bend the world. But here... I am tolerated, nothing more. That is why we ride with them."
They sped through the fifth portal. Then the sixth. The seventh. Each time, the surrounding atmosphere shifted violently—some layers roared with storms, others pulsed with illusions of paradise that hid endless torment.
But what they didn't know—in the shadows of the third layer—a pair of sharp red eyes watched. A horned demon clicked its tongue and vanished in black smoke.
The whispers began.
"Invaders… with Love as their guide…"
The news spread.
By the time they passed the eighth gate, the abyss itself trembled with anticipation.
Then came the ninth.
The final portal opened to a place unlike the others. There were no flames, no screams—only silence and cold.
It was a realm made of frozen eternity.
The sky above cracked with motionless lightning. The ground was ice, black as sorrow.
Even the hell beasts growled uneasily.
Love dismounted first, placing a hand on the glacial earth. "This," she said quietly, "is the heart of the Deep. The waiting place. The core of Hell… will awaken here."
Enel looked around, his breath misting before him. "It's so… cold." He was strong and even he had to admit this.
If Hell was like this for him that was about the strength of an Arcane ranked demon, then he wondered how it would be for human souks that would suffer here in the future.
Love nodded. "Hell's worst punishment is not fire—it is absence. Here lies the region where the furthest souls shall fall. Where even hatred forgets to burn."
Then she turned to Allison. Her expression was gentler now, heavier.
"Now it is your turn."
Allison froze. She turned to Enel—her son, mate, her protector, her everything.
He met her gaze.
He tried to speak.
He couldn't.
Maybe it was the mate bond. Or the journey. Or the fact that after everything—the fights, the nightmares, the victories—this woman had stood beside him. And now, he had to let her go, just like he had to for the others. Everytime, he just could not stop it.
For all his power and ability to even turn over planes and the world at large, he could not even save any of his women.
And now, Allison had to give herself up for him.
His chest tightened.
"I'll wait for you," she whispered, her voice trembling like the frost beneath their feet.
"A thousand years… ten thousand… a million if I must. I'll wait."
Enel clenched his fists. His lips parted. "And I'll rip apart the gates of Heaven if I have to."
He kissed her—deep, desperate, final.
And then she turned away.
Allison walked to Love. Her tears had already frozen on her cheeks. She nodded once.
Love took her hand. "Remember… death does not yet exist. All you need do is destroy the body before the gates. If your soul is strong enough—it will force its way through."
Allison looked back one last time.
And mounted the beast.
Love's portal shimmered into being. Unlike the others, it glowed soft white—brilliant, even in the gloom.
Without another word, Allison rode through it.
Gone.
The portal collapsed behind her.
Enel's legs shook. He didn't cry often. But now—a single tear slid down his face.
He wiped it away quickly.
Love watched him, a soft smile on her face. "Trust me," she said. "It will all work out… in the end."
But then—
> Snarls.
A low, rumbling sound like the grinding of a thousand metal blades echoed behind them.
Enel turned, slowly.
And saw them.
A sea of demons. Crawling, flying, slithering—a Legion. Their eyes burned with madness. Their horns scraped the sky. Weapons forged in sin were raised.
They had come.
And Enel grinned bitterly. His hand waved—and his swords appeared in his grasp.
"Of course," he muttered. "It was never going to be easy."
Love sighed. She had hoped it would not happen even though she knew that it would.
Then again, it was expected. Hell was the place the One Above All dumped his experimental creatures for the cosmos.
These creatures known as demons were discarded in his dumpster. Of course there was still the underworld, but hellwas home to the worse of them.
Hell was home to the Nine families of the primordial demons. Each family took a layer of hekl for themselves. And Love had breezed through their territories without permission.
Of course, the possibility that permission woukd have been given was very low. Also, they was no time for that.
And lastly, she had Enel. Or rather, she had Lenny Tales.
And right now, he had just experienced loss, and was in a very bad mood. Basically, he needed to vent and all these demons had offered themselves.
Lenny was going to let loose. He pointed his swords forward as he took his stance. Low. Predatory.
However at such a time, there was a shine far off in the skies. The fallen angels had also arrived...
