Devouring Demons in Demon Slayer

Zenitsu leaped back, putting distance between himself and the baby spiders.

Their needle-like tongues struck the ground.

However, the poison began to affect him. Before he even landed, he spat out a mouthful of blood.

He stumbled, his hand gripping his Nichirin Blade to steady himself.

Seizing the opportunity, the baby spiders swarmed him, completely engulfing him.

The {human-headed spider demon} laughed, enjoying its apparent victory.

But as the spiders surrounded Zenitsu, their outer layer crackled with lightning. A massive burst of energy erupted from their center, sending all the spiders flying.

The powerful energy severed the demon's silk threads, causing it to fall to the ground.

Zenitsu was now surrounded by electricity, the air vibrating violently. The energy had clearly originated from him.

He regained his footing, resuming his Thunder Breathing, First Form stance.

His eyes snapped open, glowing intensely, striking fear into the {demon}.

The atmosphere intensified further; cracks spread across the ground beneath his feet, scattering debris.

"Thunder Breathing, First Form, Thunderclap and Flash: Six-Fold!"

This time, instead of stalling, Zenitsu attacked decisively.

The {human-headed spider demon}, sensing the shift in momentum, used its spinneret to shoot silk back to its wooden house, suspending itself in mid-air.

It spat venom, but Zenitsu, transforming into a yellow streak of lightning, dodged easily.

The {demon} couldn't track him, only seeing a fast-moving yellow blur.

Terrified, it retreated into the house, but before it could react, Zenitsu, as a bolt of lightning, struck the roof, shattering it.

His energy dissipated. He remained in the Thunderclap and Flash stance, but unlike before, his blade was now drawn, faint arcs of electricity still flickering on it.

From the vantage point of the ruined roof, Zenitsu had also brought down the {human-headed spider demon}, its head now separated from its massive body.

With a final, powerful strike, he had decapitated it.
