Devouring Demons in Demon Slayer

The {human-headed spider demon}, not a fool, saw the change and sprayed a large amount of venom at the oncoming Zenitsu.

Though asleep, Zenitsu sensed the danger and performed a midair backflip, dodging the venom.

The venom struck a tree trunk, corroding a hole.

Zenitsu landed, cushioning the impact, and stood up.

"Dodging my attack in midair… what's going on? Your agility is completely different from before!" the {demon} said, annoyed and surprised.

"Thunder Breathing, First Form, Thunderclap and Flash" Zenitsu, regaining his composure, assumed the stance again, ready to attack.

"You few, jump on him and inject more poison!" the {demon} ordered the baby spiders.

They couldn't approach Zenitsu, who easily maintained distance.

The {demon} sprayed venom at Zenitsu's back, but he dodged with a side jump.

He resumed his Thunder Breathing, First Form stance.

"He's been in the same stance the whole time, hahaha~"

"—He only knows one technique!" the {demon} realized.

"It's okay, Zenitsu. This is enough. Knowing one technique is good! If you only do one thing, do it perfectly! Master this technique!"

Zenitsu recalled his grandfather's teachings.

"Kaka kaka~" The {demon} laughed mockingly. "This guy's trash! So weak, and yet a Demon Slayer!"

Checking its pocket watch, the {demon} exclaimed, "The poison should be paralyzing him now!"

Zenitsu was indeed nearly immobile. His hand holding the Nichirin Blade trembled.

However, the blade crackled with electricity, poised to unleash its power.

The {demon} sprayed venom again, testing Zenitsu's mobility.

Zenitsu dodged, but the baby spiders attacked.

"Bite him! Inject more poison!" the {demon} commanded.

The spiders lunged, their needle-like tongues piercing towards Zenitsu.
