For four thousand years—ever since the collision of the Sun Moon Continent and the Douluo Continent—the Sun Moon Empire had suffered countless defeats at the hands of Shrek Academy's Limit Douluos. 

Though the Sun Moon Empire had long dreamed of cultivating its own unparalleled Douluo, they had abandoned this aspiration a millennium ago. 

It wasn't for lack of effort—the Sun Moon Empire's heritage made it exceedingly difficult to produce even a Level 95 Super Douluo, let alone break through each subsequent level, which was akin to scaling the heavens.

However, though Kong Deming had theoretically broken through to become a Level 10 soul engineer, data was just data. Without directly clashing against an unparalleled Douluo like Mu En, the Sun Moon Empire couldn't be certain of the true value of a Level 10 soul engineer. 

Now, after a thousand years of longing, their wish had finally been fulfilled.

That is—if they had come this far, they absolutely had to eliminate this Limit Douluo who had loomed over the Sun Moon Empire for so long!

Fortunately for Kong Deming, the newly promoted Level 10 soul engineer Jing Hongchen stood in front of him. Without this protection, it was uncertain whether Kong Deming could continue chasing Mu En as he currently did. 

But this stalemate couldn't last forever. After all, Kong Deming's soul power wasn't infinite. At Level 94, his reserves were naturally less than those of Mu En, who was at Level 99. 

Thus, Kong Deming decided to employ a bit of cunning.

The Star Luo Empire's group of Title Douluos wanted to intervene, but the scale of this battle was too immense. Ordinary Title Douluos like them didn't dare step forward. 

However, their presence gave Kong Deming a new opening. 

Previously, the presence of two Level 10 soul engineers would have been more than enough to annihilate the Star Luo Empire's Title Douluos on the battlefield. But to prevent intelligence leaks and prepare for Mu En's arrival, Kong Deming had exercised restraint. 

Now, Kong Deming realized that while their two Level 10 soul engineers had the strength to face Mu En head-on, the opponent's refusal to engage in direct combat left them without a decisive advantage.

Though the Silver Moon Divine Light Shield had the ability to lock and alter space, that didn't mean it lacked direct combat capabilities! 

"Jing Hongchen, cover me. I'll take care of these Star Luo Douluos first." 

Jing Hongchen didn't hesitate to comply. Though he had only recently broken through to become a Level 10 soul engineer, his Level 10 soul-guided armor—the Golden Toad of Red Dust—was uniquely powerful. It combined the abilities of his grandson Xiao Hongchen's mutated Three-Legged Golden Toad martial soul, temporarily elevating equipped Level 9 soul-guided devices to Level 10 standards. 

Of course, this came at a cost. Depending on the metal strength of each Level 9 soul-guided device, it would accelerate their wear and tear, leading to quicker obsolescence. 

But the Sun Moon Empire was wealthy. For the sake of victory, a few scrapped Level 9 soul-guided devices were a small price to pay. 

Considering the ambiguity of Level 10 soul engineer standards, most of Jing Hongchen's equipment consisted of defensive soul-guided devices, designed to better support Kong Deming's Silver Moon Divine Light Shield. 

As it turned out, the Sun Moon Empire's judgment was correct. 

At this moment, Xu Tianxing had already sensed that Kong Deming was using his spiritual force to lock onto him. His face paled in panic. As a mere Level 97 Super Douluo, how could he possibly withstand such a formidable opponent? 

Xu Tianxing tried to break free from the lock, but the bind generated by the Level 10 soul-guided device, the Silver Moon Divine Light Shield, was not so easily escaped. 

A surge of soul power gathered in the air, illuminating the sky with dazzling silver light. 

Seeing this, Mu En frowned inwardly, silently cursing the enemy's underhanded tactics. 

To think that while battling someone like him—a Level 99 powerhouse—they would turn around and target ordinary Super Douluos. Truly shameless! 

But Mu En couldn't ignore the situation. After all, Xu Tianxing was the former emperor of the Star Luo Empire. If any of the Star Luo Empire's Title Douluos survived and returned, they might spread damaging rumors about Shrek Academy. 

Shrek couldn't afford to suffer further setbacks. 

By now, Kong Deming's Silver Moon Divine Light Shield had fully charged its attack—the Silver Moon Divine Light Wave!

The blinding silver light seemed to tear apart the heavens, unleashing a terrifying wave of destruction that surged straight toward Xu Tianxing! 

This attack was condensed to its utmost limit, targeting Xu Tianxing alone. Though this allowed the surrounding Guardian Douluos to breathe a sigh of relief, their expressions quickly shifted to alarm—after all, this was their leader. 

Xu Tianxing's face was filled with terror. But as a former emperor, escape was impossible. Thus, he chose to face the attack with calmness and defiance. 

"Fourth Soul Skill—Stellar Shield!!!" 

Though this was merely a thousand-year soul skill, Xu Tianxing, having long surpassed the realm of a Super Douluo, had fully mastered its essence. At this moment, he condensed his star power to its peak, forming a massive pale-blue shield in front of him! 

The next instant, the two forces collided fiercely!
