Dragon Ball: Rise Without End

Main Timeline – Universe 7, Earth.

On Baozi Mountain, a dimensional rift suddenly opened in midair. From within the glowing portal stepped out Rayden, Broly, and Cell.

Far away, Son Goku, Son Gohan, Piccolo, and Paragus—who were eating dinner—sensed their arrival. Without hesitation, they used Instant Transmission and vanished from their meal.

"Goku, Gohan, you haven't even finished your food!"

Chichi stomped her foot in frustration. She turned toward a little boy who looked strikingly like a younger version of Goku.

"Goten, promise me you won't grow up to be like your father and brother!"

"Okay, Mom!" Goten nodded with a chicken drumstick in his hand and continued eating, unfazed.

Elsewhere—

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Paragus appeared in front of Rayden, Broly, and Cell.

"Rayden! You're finally back!" Goku exclaimed, visibly thrilled.

Broly barely had time to react before Paragus ran up and hugged him tightly.

"Broly, we were about to go to the Dragon God Realm to search for you!" Paragus said, eyes misting.

"I'm sorry for making you worry, Father!" Broly returned the hug.

Rayden chuckled. "Goku, were you guys just eating?"

Goku looked puzzled. "Wait, how'd you know that?"

Rayden laughed heartily. "You've got rice all over your mouth."

"Haha!" Goku scratched his head in embarrassment and wiped his face with his hand.

"Uncle Rayden, you should come have dinner with us!" Gohan invited cheerfully.

"Sure, it's been a while since I had Earth food," Rayden smiled and nodded.

Swish! Swish!

In a blink, the group teleported to Goku's home.

"Goku! How many times have I told you not to teleport into the house like that? You'll scare someone to death!" Chichi scolded, arms crossed.

"Hehe, sorry Chichi. I won't do it again!" Goku said sheepishly, scratching the back of his head.

Chichi's demeanor softened when she saw the guests. "Rayden, Broly, Cell—you're all here too! Come on in. Let's eat together!"

She turned to the kitchen and began preparing more food.

Gohan pointed toward the table. "Goten, these are Uncle Rayden, Uncle Broly, and Cell."

Goten looked up from his plate and waved. "Hi!"

Broly laughed. "Kakarot, your kid looks exactly like you!"

"Haha! That's what I always tell Chichi!" Goku beamed.

Rayden suddenly remembered something. "Goku, do you remember the second transformation method I told you about in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"

Goku paused for a moment. "Wait... you mean Super Saiyan God?"

"Exactly."

Rayden continued, "After dinner, let's head to Vegeta's place. It's time."

Excited, Goku began eating even faster than before.

Clang! Clang!

Bowls and chopsticks collided as several Saiyans devoured their meal like warriors preparing for battle.

Half an hour later, the table was empty. Everyone leaned back, full and satisfied.

"Chichi, we're heading out!" Goku said.

As they flew away, Chichi watched them with a smile. Her hard work had paid off—the food was completely gone.

Minutes Later—

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Rayden and the others arrived at Capsule Corporation. From the air, they saw Vegeta and Bulma relaxing on a balcony. Trunks played nearby with a pile of toys.

As soon as Goten spotted the toys, he rushed over to join Trunks.

"Rayden, when did you get back?" Vegeta stood and asked coolly.

"Just today," Rayden replied.

"What brings you here?" Vegeta asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We're going to transform into Super Saiyan Gods," Goku answered eagerly.

Vegeta's eyes widened slightly. He had been waiting for this moment. Rayden had once promised that after they mastered Super Saiyan 4, he would guide them to the divine path.

"I want to be the first to transform!" Vegeta declared.

"No way! I should go first!" Goku argued.

"Not happening. I'm transforming first," Vegeta replied stubbornly.

Rayden chuckled. "Goku, it doesn't matter who goes first. By the end of today, all of you will transform into Super Saiyan Gods."

Goku sighed and nodded. "Alright, alright."

Rayden then turned toward the kids. "Trunks, Goten—come over here."

"Okay, Uncle Rayden!" Both kids dropped their toys and ran over.

Vegeta looked at Rayden. "So how do we do this?"

Rayden stepped forward and gave instructions.

"Vegeta, stand at the center. Don't move."

He continued, "To awaken Super Saiyan God, six Saiyans with righteous hearts must channel their energy into one of their own."

Rayden and Broly placed their hands on Vegeta's back. Goku, Gohan, and Paragus held hands in a circle, surrounding Vegeta.

Golden energy surged from all six Saiyans, spiraling upward into the sky.

Their bodies slowly rose into the air. The sky shifted as white clouds turned golden. The golden aura surrounding them deepened into a radiant blue. Thunder cracked across the heavens, and the seasons seemed to shift momentarily.

Then, a red glow burst forth from Vegeta's body.

His aura completely vanished—replaced by an overwhelming silence.

The red light faded.

Vegeta's hair and eyebrows turned a deep crimson, as did his pupils. His skin looked smoother, more youthful.

He had achieved it—Super Saiyan God.

Gods of Destruction Realm

Whis was lounging beside the prophetic fish, idly chatting, when he suddenly sat up straight.

"Whis, did you sense it too?" the prophetic fish asked, swimming in circles.

Whis raised his staff. "Let's take a look."

As he peered through the staff's vision, his eyes lit up.

"It's him again... That interesting young man. He really thought of using that method to infuse divine energy into Saiyans."

"Do I know him?" the fish asked.

"No. But I do," Whis replied cryptically and lowered the staff. "It's good for Universe 7 to have more powerful beings."

Back on Earth

"Dad! That transformation is so cool!" Trunks' eyes sparkled with awe.

"Uncle Vegeta, you look way cooler than a regular Super Saiyan!" Goten added excitedly.

Goku looked around. "Rayden, why can't we sense Vegeta's energy anymore?"

Rayden explained, "He's reached divine status. Once you become a god, ordinary mortals can no longer sense your ki."

"So that's why!" everyone exclaimed in realization.

Rayden turned toward the two boys. "Trunks, Goten—would you like to try this transformation?"

"Yes!" they shouted in unison. "It's awesome! Please teach us!"

One by one, they followed the same ritual. Each Saiyan took their turn and transformed.

An Hour Later

Everyone—Rayden, Broly, Paragus, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten—had achieved the Super Saiyan God form. (Any Saiyan with a righteous heart could achieve this state.)

Rayden looked at them proudly.

"You've all done well. Now, it's time to train and master this power. There's still a higher level beyond this."

"Got it!" everyone responded, eyes full of determination.

After a few more words of encouragement, the group parted ways to focus on their own training.

Rayden brought Broly, Paragus, and Cell to a remote island far from civilization to build a new home.

Later That Day

With Rayden's abilities, they constructed massive wooden houses within the hour. He accelerated the growth of surrounding trees, turning the island into a lush, towering forest. To a stranger, it might've looked like an untouched primeval jungle.

Cell had flown off earlier and returned with a bounty of wild animals. He started a fire and began roasting meat.

That Night

Under the stars, Rayden, Broly, Paragus, and Cell sat by the fire, eating grilled meat and sharing stories of their years training in the Dragon God Realm.

Laughter, the crackling of firewood, and the scent of roasted meat filled the peaceful night air.

The path to divine power had just begun.
