Dragon Ball: Rise Without End

The next day.

Rayden had just gotten up when he heard loud crashing sounds in the distance.

He looked toward a nearby island and saw Broly, Cell, and Paragus locked in fierce combat, sending shockwaves through the area.

Rayden casually washed up, grabbed a piece of bread, and flew over.

In a few moments, he arrived on the scene.

"Broly, take it easy. We have things to do today. Save your strength," Rayden called out calmly.

Broly turned, slightly confused. "Rayden, where are we going?"

Rayden gave a sly smile. "Broly, do you remember that fat cat we met while looking for the Super Dragon Balls?"

Broly's expression darkened. His energy flared, shaking the entire island. "Of course I remember!"

Cell snorted. "Are we going to pay him a little visit?"

"Exactly," Rayden smirked. "But first, let's find Goku and the others. Maybe they'd like to tag along to another universe."

Rayden placed his hand on Broly's shoulder. Cell and Paragus gathered around as well, and in a flash, Rayden used Instant Transmission.

Swish!

Rayden, Broly, Cell, and Paragus appeared where Goku and the others were training.

Goku and Vegeta were in the sky, coaching Trunks and Goten as the two sparred mid-air. Piccolo and Gohan leaned against a tree, watching silently.

"Uncle Rayden, you're here!" Gohan waved, walking over to greet him.

Rayden nodded with a smile.

Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, and Goten flew over from the training ground.

Goku grinned. "Rayden, are you here to join our training?"

Rayden shook his head. "Not this time. We're heading to another universe. Want to come?"

"Another universe?" Everyone looked at him, puzzled.

Rayden explained calmly, "There are twelve universes in total. Right now, we're in Universe 7."

"This is the first time I've ever heard about other universes!" Gohan exclaimed in shock.

Goku leaned in. "Rayden, are there strong warriors there?"

Rayden nodded. "Plenty. But you'll have to seek them out yourselves."

Vegeta's eyes lit up with interest. "Which one are we going to?"

"The Sixth Universe," Rayden replied. "Just hold onto me, and I'll take you there."

Everyone quickly gathered around and placed a hand on Rayden's shoulder.

Rayden looked down at the two young boys.

"Trunks, Goten—you two stay here and continue training. I'll take you on an adventure next time."

"Okay, Uncle Rayden!" they both responded obediently.

Rayden pulled out a map of the twelve universes from his storage ring. After reviewing the layout, he selected a planet far from the Gods of Destruction's realm.

With everyone in place, he used Instant Transmission once more.

The Sixth Universe.

A burst of light announced the sudden arrival of Rayden and his group on a remote planet.

Son Goku and Vegeta immediately started sensing the energy around them, eyes scanning the horizon.

Rayden activated his system internally.

> System, display current combat power levels.

"Beep!"

A mechanical voice rang in Rayden's mind.

Rayden: 3967 Gai – Bloodline: Earthling, Legendary Saiyan

Broly: 2028 Gai – Bloodline: Legendary Saiyan

Cell: 1046 Gai – Bloodline: Bio-Android

Son Goku: 665 sextillion – Bloodline: Saiyan

Son Gohan: 686 Gai – Bloodline: Half-Saiyan

Vegeta: 660 Gai – Bloodline: Saiyan

Piccolo: 287 Gai – Bloodline: Namekian

Paragus: 182 Gai – Bloodline: Saiyan

Rayden raised an eyebrow. Their power had grown massively, especially after years of training in the Dragon God Realm and fighting evil dragons.

Turning to Goku, he said, "Goku, this universe is yours to explore. Find your own worthy opponents."

Goku looked confused. "Rayden, aren't you coming with us?"

Rayden's expression turned cold. "No. Broly, Cell, and I have... unfinished business."

Vegeta asked curiously, "Who are you taking revenge on?"

Cell's eyes narrowed. "A fat purple cat. While looking for the Super Dragon Balls, Rayden and Broly ran into him... and that cat killed Broly."

"What?! I want to avenge Broly too!" Paragus exploded in rage.

"I'm in too!" Goku added without hesitation.

Rayden sighed. Seeing how eager they were, he nodded. "Alright, let's go together."

> I hope I'm strong enough now… even to challenge a God of Destruction.

"Everyone, hold onto me!"

Once again, everyone placed their hands on Rayden's shoulders.

Instant Transmission.

Gods of Destruction Realm – Champa's Planet.

Swish!

Rayden and the group appeared on the planet ruled by Champa.

Cell immediately scanned the surroundings. "Rayden, I don't sense anyone here."

"No one? Then let's destroy his house!" Paragus roared, transforming into Super Saiyan 4.

He charged a massive ball of energy between his palms and launched it at Champa's home.

BOOM!

The house exploded into rubble, a massive crater marking its former location.

After the destruction, everyone sat down casually and waited for Champa's return.

Ten minutes passed.

"Rayden, are we seriously going to just sit here and wait for that cat to come back?" Goku asked, clearly getting impatient.

"No. Who knows where he went? What if he doesn't return for half a year?" Rayden stood up, floating into the air.

"Let's destroy this entire planet and be done with it."

Rayden transformed into Super Saiyan 5, his power erupting like a thunderstorm. The others immediately flew up and moved behind him for cover.

"Vast Omega!"

A massive energy sphere formed in Rayden's hands. As he hurled it, the sphere split into dozens of smaller energy bombs.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions rocked the planet, clouds of smoke and dust rising into the atmosphere. When the smoke cleared, the once-beautiful planet had been reduced to a barren wasteland.

"Alright, we're done here."

Rayden used Instant Transmission to leave the Sixth Universe with the others.

A short while later.

Whoosh!

Champa and Vados arrived on the destroyed planet.

Vados had known about the attack but, without the ability to use Instant Transmission, she and Champa could only rush back at top speed.

"Lord Champa, we were too late," Vados said with mock sorrow.

"CURSE THEM!" Champa's body trembled with rage, and destructive energy leaked out of him like wildfire.

"Vados! Show me who did this!" he roared.

"Yes, Lord Champa."

Vados raised her staff and peered into its orb. She was stunned by what she saw.

"Hmm...!"

Champa frowned. "What is it? What did you see?"

"Nothing, I'm fine," Vados replied quickly and continued watching.

"Do you remember those two humans we met while looking for the wishing beads in Universe 7?" she asked.

Champa scratched his head. "Yeah… What about them?"

"Well, they're the ones who did this. The same two you killed before. Somehow, they came back... and brought an army with them."

Champa blinked. "Are you sure? I killed them myself. How are they alive?"

"I don't know," Vados said quietly. "But it's definitely them."

"INFURIATING!" Champa clenched his fists. "If I ever see them again…!"

Vados sighed and gently tapped her staff on the ground twice.

The ruined planet began to restore itself, returning to its original lush beauty.

Meanwhile...

Rayden and the others continued hopping from planet to planet across Universe 6, searching for worthy opponents.

Swish!

They arrived on Planet Sadala.

Suddenly—Whoosh! Whoosh!

A group of six or seven Saiyans appeared, landing in front of them with aggressive expressions.

One short Saiyan stepped forward, glaring. "Who are you? What are you doing on Planet Sadala?"

Vegeta glanced around and scoffed. "Rayden, let's go. No strong warriors here."

Rayden chuckled. "Vegeta, these people... they're Saiyans too."

"Saiyans?" Goku and the others all turned toward Rayden, completely surprised.
