c16: The Final Struggle! Frieza's Death,

"You... What are you talking about?!" Frieza's face twisted in rage, his golden form flaring with instability.

At this moment, he felt humiliated, mocked by both Goku and Vegeta like a cosmic jester, a far cry from the tyrant who once ruled the universe with fear.

Goku gave a small, calm smile, then suddenly surged with energy, his body igniting in a brilliant azure blaze of divine ki. His Super Saiyan Blue form stabilized immediately, the God Ki roaring around him like a tempest.

"Come on," he said firmly. "You came for me, didn't you?"

Frieza clenched his teeth, then roared in fury. He blasted off, fists forward, barreling toward Goku in a golden streak.

Goku's eyes narrowed and the two collided.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Fist against fist. Speed against speed. Their punches tore the air as they battled across the sky, shockwaves rippling across the atmosphere, rupturing clouds and splintering the ground.

Vegeta, watching from below, scowled. Though still burning with pride, he exhaled sharply, released his Super Saiyan Blue transformation, and landed silently on the ground.

In the air, despite Frieza's earlier exertion, he kept up with Goku for now. But the tide quickly shifted.

Frieza's golden aura was flickering, and his strikes lost precision. He began to breathe harder, kicking and punching wildly, desperate to maintain control.

Goku's eyes narrowed as he noticed the pattern.

"Frieza… this form… you just recently mastered it, didn't you?"

Frieza flinched, visibly caught off guard. "What are you implying?!"

Goku gave a knowing smile. "You should have trained longer in this form—gotten used to the power before coming to Earth." His expression turned serious. "If you had… maybe even Vegeta and I couldn't have stopped you."

Frieza's face twitched. "Tch! Even now, you're no match for me!"

But Goku didn't flinch. "Your stamina's running out. This form Golden Frieza, it burns too much energy. You're leaving too many openings."

"Shut your mouth!" Frieza shouted, exploding forward with a roar.

Frieza's fist lunged toward Goku's face but Goku caught it effortlessly.

"Wha—?!" Frieza's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Too slow," Goku said with a grin.

Thud!

Spinning, Goku grabbed Frieza's arm and hurled him violently, slamming him through multiple stone ridges!

But Frieza wasn't finished. He stopped himself midair, panting.

"Frieza!!!" Goku bellowed, suddenly appearing above him both hands clasped together, hammering down hard.

"UGHHH!!" Frieza's body shot downward like a meteor.

BOOM!

He crashed into a jagged cliff, breaking the rock wall apart then bounced off from the force of impact!

But Goku was already there.

Swoosh!

BOOM! Another ki blast from Goku's palm, launching Frieza through the second cliff, sending up clouds of debris.

Goku stood firm, his expression cold and unflinching, the blue aura around him calm yet devastating.

From the ground, the Z Fighters erupted with cheer.

"He did it!" Gohan smiled with relief.

"Hmph!" Vegeta folded his arms, scoffing. "If I hadn't worn Frieza down, Kakarot wouldn't have done squat."

Krillin chuckled nervously. "Sure, sure, Vegeta…"

Luya, off to the side, said nothing. He lowered his presence, hiding his energy. His eyes locked on Frieza's motionless body in the rubble.

He was waiting for the right moment to strike. His system told him only a final, decisive blow would complete the mission.

Suddenly

"Huh?" Goku's expression changed.

He turned sharply toward the rubble.

BOOM!

"AHHHHHH!!! SUN WUKONG!!!"

Frieza's scream echoed through the battlefield—golden light surging again from the debris!

His aura flared, unstable but monstrous, rising like a phoenix from the ashes.

The final act… was not over yet.

The earth shook from the roar, and in the next second, Frieza soared into the sky, wrapped in his unstable golden aura, crackling with volatile ki.

Goku's eyes narrowed. The divine ki around him surged and twisted the dark blue hue of Super Saiyan Blue (SSGSS) ignited again. He instantly launched into the sky, quickly reaching Frieza's altitude.

Floating at eye level, Goku remained calm while observing Frieza's panting and trembling form.

"Frieza... this power is draining you. You can't maintain it much longer," Goku said flatly. "Give up before it's too late."

"Give up?!" Frieza barked, veins popping. "I am Frieza, Emperor of the Universe! I don't lose!!"

His aura erupted again, and with a wild scream, Frieza charged forward!

"Die!!!" Frieza's eyes were bloodshot, his punch fueled by desperation and hate.

But Goku had seen through it. He tilted his head to the side, dodging the wild swing with ease. Then, he countered with a brutal punch straight to Frieza's gut.

"GUH—!!" Frieza's body arched like a bow, spit flying from his mouth. His golden glow flickered erratically.

PUFF!!

Suddenly, the golden form vanished, and Frieza reverted back to his final form, gasping, his breathing ragged.

"D-Damn it... damn!" he stammered, trying to retaliate.

But Goku blinked behind him in an instant, then delivered a vicious roundhouse kick!

CRACK!!

Frieza's body was slammed into the ground, sending shockwaves across the surrounding terrain.

BOOM!!! The solid rock cracked beneath him, leaving a crater from the impact.

Goku hovered down, expression unreadable, looking silently at his long-time foe.

Frieza coughed violently, staggering to his feet, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"This... this is impossible!! I can't lose!! Not to you… not again!!"

BANG!

He punched the ground, trembling with fury.

BANG!

Again, creating cracks beneath his fist.

Goku's tone was icy: "It's over, Frieza. I'm sending you back to Hell."

Frieza's lips twisted into a manic smile. "Heh… hehehe… then let's go together!!"

"What?!" Goku's heart skipped. He sensed danger Frieza's ki was erupting again!

The tyrant raised his fist, snarling, aiming for the planet's core beneath him.

"Let's all DIE!!!" he howled.

Too late. Goku lunged, but—

WHAP!!

A shadow appeared and caught Frieza's wrist in mid-strike.

"Wha?!" Frieza gasped. His eyes locked onto the one who stopped him.

Luya.

Luya smirked. "Been waiting for you to try that."

Before Frieza could react, Luya twisted his body, hurled Frieza into the sky like a meteor.

BOOOOM!!!

Mid-air, Luya unleashed his Super Saiyan 2, then ignited Kaio-Ken, stacking its red aura over golden lightning!

His power spiked sharply—even Goku and Vegeta's eyes widened.

"Kame... Hame... HA!!!!"

With zero hesitation, Luya launched a massive Turtle School Qigong the beam howled through the sky and engulfed Frieza entirely!

"AAAAHHHH!!! I—WILL—RETURN—!!!"

Frieza's voice was lost in the roaring blast. His body disintegrated, reduced to nothing but ash and light, obliterated by the full force of Luya's attack.

Everything went still.

Everyone was frozen. Gohan, Krillin, even Piccolo stood in stunned silence.

Goku and Vegeta broke into cold sweat.

What had just happened…?

Luya descended slowly, his red Kaio-Ken aura fading. Calm, breathing evenly, he stood among the stunned Z-Fighters.

Goku's expression was a mix of admiration and surprise.

"He used… Kaio-Ken…? On top of Super Saiyan 2?"

Even Vegeta looked unsettled. Luya's power output just now… was terrifying.

This guy… was no ordinary warrior.

And deep down, Goku knew:

He would have to fight Luya someday.
