c53: The Final Victory! Universe 7 Wins
As Luya caught Hit's punch mid-air, the latter was already following up with another blow at close range!
Luya clenched his jaw, caught the first fist, and countered with a clean strike from his other hand.
BAM!
Hit staggered backward, sliding two steps. Without wasting time, he immediately condensed a compressed energy sphere in his palm and hurled it toward Luya!
But Luya's reflexes were razor-sharp. He jumped high into the air, narrowly dodging the energy sphere.
BOOM!
A fiery explosion erupted below. In mid-air, Luya gathered glowing ki into both palms. He slammed his hands together and fired a surging Ki Wave with a furious shout!
Hit raised his arms in defense, catching the brunt of the wave but it forced him to skid backward across the broken arena floor.
BOOM!
Fsshhhh...
Luya saw his chance. Igniting his Kaio-ken ×18, he roared, forcing his battered body to push past its limits and amplify the output of his ki wave!
"Aaaaahhhh...!!"
Hit was nearly out of stamina. His body trembled under the overwhelming assault. He was sliding back, barely resisting the force of Luya's attack.
"Ka...me...ha...me..."
Luya's voice rang out again—this time louder, more focused. His entire body glowed as he summoned every last drop of energy. This would be his final strike.
He was using the Kamehameha again, not just as a Son family signature but as his own symbol of power.
"People always say you can't beat the Sons," Luya shouted. "It's time they remembered—there are other warriors too!"
"N-No... impossible!!" Champa stood up in a panic, unable to remain seated. Sweat poured from his brow.
If Hit lost now, they had no backup!
"Now! Finish him!" Beerus shouted, abandoning all God of Destruction decorum.
"HAAAAAA!!!"
Luya unleashed the full-powered Kamehameha, its size and pressure more than doubling!
"Ughhhhhh!!!" Hit could no longer hold on. The tremendous beam overwhelmed his defense, breaking the ring behind him into dust. His body was flung hundreds of meters backward.
BOOM!!
A massive explosion followed, forming a glowing mushroom cloud.
"HE WON!!"
The Universe 7 team erupted in cheers.
Beerus smirked, unable to hide his glee. He had defeated Champa and it felt glorious.
"He's incredible." Goku looked on with admiration. "Even without Super Saiyan Blue, he took down Hit. Luya's martial arts instinct might surpass ours."
"Tch." Vegeta's expression was sour. Unlike Luya, who beat Hit at full strength, Vegeta had lost despite transforming into Super Saiyan Blue. The gap stung more than he wanted to admit.
"No... this can't be! How could Hit lose?!" Champa screamed, clutching his head. "How is a Saiyan this strong?! I thought Goku was their trump card, but now there's another freak?!"
Who exactly were the Saiyans of Universe 7?!
Hovering in mid-air, Luya was visibly exhausted. The last attack had pushed his body far past its limit.
Suddenly a surprise attack!
Without warning, a shadowy figure appeared before him and threw a lightning-fast punch!
"What—?!" Luya was caught off guard.
WHAM!
"Gahh!!" He bent over, the punch hitting his gut so hard his body curled like a shrimp.
Everyone looked on in shock, it was Hit!
"H-Hit?!" Beerus gasped.
"YES!!" Champa shrieked in joy, nearly foaming at the mouth. "HE'S BACK!!"
Hit stood firm. "You're strong. But I evolve too."
As he was about to be pushed out of the ring earlier, Hit had burned through his remaining stamina to use Time-Skip at the last second vanishing from the Kamehameha's path.
Luya gritted his teeth. He hadn't expected Hit to survive let alone counterattack!
But then—he roared! His body erupted with energy again as he surged forward and caught Hit's next punch mid-strike!
"What?!" Hit's eyes widened.
Luya twisted violently, flinging Hit aside!
Then, gathering energy rapidly, he formed a condensed Ki blast and hurled it! It detonated on impact and launched Hit into the sky.
Hit stabilized mid-air. He realized that Luya was burning through the last of his strength. And it was working.
Wasting no time, Hit extended both arms and fired a massive energy wave at Luya!
Luya looked up, trembling. Then, with a final shout, he launched himself straight at the blast!
"DRAGON... FIST!!!"
VMMHH!!
A golden aura exploded around him as his body turned into the form of a glowing, serpentine dragon. With a furious howl, he pierced right through Hit's energy wave unstoppable!
"No... it can't be..." Hit muttered.
But it was already too late.
"RAAAAAAH!!!" Luya screamed, slamming his golden fist directly into Hit's midsection!
BOOOOM!!!
A tremendous golden flash erupted as the Dragon Fist tore through Hit. The energy solidified briefly into the image of a five-clawed golden dragon before dissipating into sparkles.
Hit hovered in shock. A gaping, cauterized wound had appeared in his stomach.
He was losing consciousness.
"Whis!!" Goku called from the stands.
Understanding the urgency, Whis appeared before Hit and enveloped him in healing angelic energy, slowing the damage to his body.
The entire arena was silent in awe.
Luya had almost killed Universe 6's top assassin.
Goku appeared beside Hit and fed him a Senzu Bean, letting the magic restore his body.
Hit's condition began to stabilize.
Meanwhile, Luya fell from the sky like a stone, his body completely drained. But Goku caught him mid-air and handed him a Senzu Bean too.
As Luya's strength returned, he exhaled deeply. "Thanks... really."
Goku laughed and clapped him on the shoulder. "You went all out. That last attack... what even was that?"
Luya gave a tired smile. "I'll explain later."
[Ding! Warning: Kaio-ken ×18 used beyond safe limits. Side effect level +5%.]

Luya exhaled deeply and collapsed to the ground, exhausted. But as the system's latest announcement echoed in his mind, his eyes widened in surprise.
"Super Saiyan God?"
The transformation with the flaming red hair?
Luya recalled that the Super Saiyan God form was awakened through a Saiyan ritual—five pure-hearted Saiyans channeling their power into a sixth. Could he really achieve it?
With the energies of Goku and Vegeta now resonating inside him, all he needed were Gohan, Trunks, and Goten to complete the ritual.
The thought sent a wave of excitement through his aching body. He clenched his fists slightly, a crooked smile forming on his face. "Damn… I actually acquired Hit's Time-Skip. Even if it's only 0.1 seconds, it's still insane!"
Even beings on the level of Super Saiyan Blue could be taken by surprise with that kind of technique.
However, he knew better than to rest on his laurels. With what Goku and Vegeta had witnessed today, they'd no doubt begin intense, targeted training. Once they adapted to the mechanics of Time-Skip, even a tenth of a second would no longer be enough.
He had to evolve again.
Sure, the system didn't give him Super Saiyan Blue as a reward, but Super Saiyan God was within reach. And step by step, he would get there.

Hit had already recovered mostly but his expression was still strained.
The two locked eyes across the arena.
A few moments passed before Hit closed his eyes, then calmly teleported onto the ring's remains and spoke clearly for all to hear:
"I concede. I lost."
Luya smiled softly. "You're incredibly strong."
Hit glanced at him. "You too. Stronger than I expected. But next time, I'll surpass this level. And when I do, I'll challenge you again."
Luya smirked. "I'll be waiting."
Hit's eyes narrowed in approval. Then, turning toward Goku, he said: "This match was a blessing. Fighting you two... helped me grow."
As an assassin, he had always operated in isolation, focused on precision and results. But this—fighting warriors who pushed him to his limits—had awakened something dormant within him.
Thanks to Goku and Luya, Hit had broken through a self-imposed barrier.
Luya was momentarily surprised. For someone as stoic and professional as Hit to openly admit that… was no small gesture.
Without another word, Hit nodded and then disappeared in a flicker, reappearing beside the Universe 6 team.
The referee, who had been knocked off somewhere during the battle, came stumbling back onto the stage.
"In the match between Universe 6 and Universe 7..." he said, raising a hand and catching his breath, "...Universe 7 is victorious!!"
"YEAHHHH!!!" Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, and the rest of the team shouted, throwing their fists into the air.
Beerus smiled wide, his feline features filled with unrestrained satisfaction. Victory over Champa meant more than bragging rights it meant pride, dominance, and no more whining from his twin.
Meanwhile, Champa looked as if a thundercloud had settled over his head. His face darkened so intensely it looked like ink spilled over a stove.
