Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Interstellar Voyage, Little Means!

Beerus crossed his arms and nodded thoughtfully. Whis's suggestion made perfect sense. If this hidden mission was tied to the Zizai Jiyi Gong—an incredibly mysterious and powerful technique—then it was certainly worth pursuing.

Turning to the group chat, Beerus sent a direct message.

Beerus: "@Son Goku, make sure to seize the opportunity and accept the quest. Once you obtain the Zizai Jiyi Gong, you'll understand just how powerful and enigmatic it truly is."

Son Goku: "I got it, Lord Beerus! I'll do my best to grab the mission!"

Vegeta: "Hmph. Kakarot, don't think I'll just let you take the lead. I'm going after that mission too!"

Krillin: "Wait, Lord Beerus, are you saying you're going to take on a hidden mission this time?"

Beerus: "Of course. It's not even difficult for someone like me. Only a fool would turn down such an easy opportunity."

Ding!

[Beater Beerus has successfully accepted the hidden mission!]

After accepting the hidden mission, Beerus turned his attention back to Liu Peiqiang. In truth, he had been so focused on the new quest and the group of intergalactic thugs earlier that he had momentarily ignored the man.

Liu Peiqiang, standing on edge, watched nervously. Did that silence mean that Lord Beerus was unwilling to help? Had he asked too much—even for someone as powerful as Beerus?

But before the anxiety could build further, Beerus spoke calmly, as if reading his thoughts.

"I understand your request," Beerus said. "Don't worry—I'll help you. Just make sure you give me a five-star rating afterward."

Liu Peiqiang nearly choked with relief.

The divine being in front of him had agreed to help.

Even more amazing, it seemed that this very act of assistance had become part of Beerus's mission. So this wasn't just charity—this was a purposeful move tied to a larger goal.

"Mr. Beerus," Liu Peiqiang said earnestly, "even if you don't take Earth all the way to its destination, as long as you can move it significantly closer, I promise—I will absolutely give you a five-star rating!"

Beerus smirked at the response, clearly satisfied.

Although the first part of Liu Peiqiang's comment hinted at some skepticism about his power, it didn't matter. That last part was what counted.

Besides, completing the mission to perfection was in Beerus's own interest. He wouldn't let it fail.

"Relax," Beerus said. "Taking the Earth to your destination? That's child's play for me."

He paused, looking around the space station and then back at Liu Peiqiang.

"By the way, you and the rest of the crew here—you're all going to the same destination as the Earth, right?"

Liu Peiqiang nodded. "Yes."

"In that case, you might as well return to Earth now. There's no point in lingering here. Travel with the planet itself."

"That makes sense," Liu Peiqiang replied.

After all, the reason they had remained on the space station was to ensure Earth's continuity in case something went wrong with the planet's journey. But now, with Beerus offering assistance—an actual god among them—it made far more sense to reunite with the planet.

Soon after, Beerus stepped outside the station and floated in the cosmic void. With a mere thought, he guided the space station to follow him as he caught up to the Earth, which drifted quietly through the endless night of space.

Unbeknownst to Beerus, his conversation with Liu Peiqiang had been overheard by many on Earth. The station's communication systems were still active, and signals had been transmitted.

The people of Earth were stunned and excited.

This mysterious Mr. Beerus, the divine being who had once already saved the planet, was now volunteering to escort Earth to its ultimate destination?

It sounded impossible.

If anyone had said that before, they would have laughed them off. But after seeing Beerus perform what was once thought impossible, many Earthlings had started to believe.

Yes, it now seemed foolish to apply Earthly science to beings like Beerus. Alien life—especially divine beings—clearly operated under completely different laws.

Soon, Beerus descended to the Earth, bringing the space station along with him.

By now, Earth was deep in its Ice Age. The surface had become brutally cold—so cold that the temperature could freeze a human into a solid sculpture in mere minutes.

But such a harsh environment didn't bother Beerus in the slightest.

The god of destruction floated down, utterly unaffected by the freezing atmosphere. After all, space was far harsher than Earth could ever be, and he had survived in its emptiness countless times before.

As Beerus arrived with the space station in tow, the news spread across the globe. Survivors and rescue teams rushed toward the station's location.

They came for two reasons. First, to retrieve the brave personnel who had been working aboard the space station. Second, and perhaps more importantly, they wanted to see this godlike being with their own eyes.

The protector of Earth had returned. And now, he was offering to do something even greater: shorten a voyage that was projected to take over 2,500 years.

Meanwhile, Beerus once again left the Earth's atmosphere and returned to the vast void of space.

He had already determined the Earth's destination. All that was left was to bring the planet there.

For normal humans, this would be an impossible task. A journey of that magnitude was unthinkable.

Even with modern technology, it would take 2,500 years of continuous travel to get there.

But for Beerus?

A few minutes. Maybe less.

After all, Whis—his attendant—was an angel who could cross the entire universe in about twenty minutes. Although Beerus wasn't quite as fast, his own speed was still leagues beyond anything Earthlings could imagine.

And besides, Earth's final destination wasn't even located in another galaxy. It was still within the Milky Way.

To Earth's scientists, even leaving the solar system was a monumental undertaking. Interstellar navigation was still one of humanity's most significant challenges.

But Beerus?

This wasn't a challenge at all—it was like a child being asked to carry a pebble across the street.

Raising his hand, Beerus summoned his divine energy. A radiant purple aura surged around him, glowing with both majesty and raw power. Then, he waved his hand.

A curtain of purple light descended from the sky and gently wrapped around the planet Earth.

This was no ordinary energy.

It was the destruction energy unique to Beerus.

Despite its name, destruction energy wasn't just meant for obliteration. It could also be used to protect. In this case, that's exactly what Beerus intended.

With Earth encased in his protective power, it was no longer subject to the hostile conditions of space. The barrier provided oxygen, warmth, and an invisible propulsion system.

Now, Earth would move—at speeds humanity couldn't comprehend—toward its target destination.

Inside the barrier, people on Earth could feel a faint but powerful shift.

The planet was moving.

It wasn't rotating or orbiting in the usual sense—it was flying.

At impossible speeds.

And yet, thanks to Beerus's careful control, not a single person felt discomfort. The oceans didn't swell. The buildings didn't crumble. The atmosphere didn't tear apart.

It was as if Earth had become a spaceship. One powered by the divine.

As the journey continued, people looked up at the sky in awe. Stars that had once remained fixed in place seemed to shift slightly. Scientists confirmed it—Earth was moving faster than any space probe had ever traveled.

This wasn't just a miracle.

It was divine intervention.

And Beerus, the god of destruction, was its orchestrator.

He didn't do it for worship.

He didn't do it out of love.

He did it because it was a mission—and more importantly, because someone promised him a five-star rating.
