Whis didn't know exactly why Lord Jack had instructed him to erase Paragus's memories of King Vegeta, but he didn't question it. For someone like Whis, tasks like memory manipulation were trivial.

After scanning through Paragus's memories, Whis quickly understood the reason.

If both Paragus and Broly returned and encountered Prince Vegeta, there was a very high likelihood of conflict. The resentment Paragus held toward King Vegeta—Vegeta's father—ran deep. Lord Jack must have foreseen this and decided to prevent unnecessary trouble.

So Whis got to work.

As expected, the process went smoothly. Paragus's hatred and memories involving King Vegeta were completely erased. But Whis didn't stop there. To ensure consistency in Paragus's mind, he went a step further—he planted a false memory.

In this revised memory, Paragus recalled how their spaceship had malfunctioned during a journey and crash-landed on Planet Vampa. Believing that the damage had left them stranded, Paragus had accepted life there with Broly.

This way, Paragus wouldn't question the decades they had spent surviving on that brutal, remote world.

With the memory adjustment complete, Whis and Beerus returned to the Destruction Star with both Broly and Paragus.

Although Beerus had explained this before, Champa hadn't taken it seriously. But now that he could see their names listed, reality hit him hard. This wasn't a joke. These were literal deities of multiversal power—present in one group chat!

He didn't even question whether it was fake. Beerus wasn't foolish enough to joke about something like this.

Beerus: "@Champa, you should be thanking me. Lord Jack gave me one of the precious invitations, and I used it to invite you. Aren't I generous?"

Whis followed up quickly:

Champa: "As for you? I suppose I can give you a minor thanks. But don't let it go to your head."

Beerus: "You're such a tsundere. Just admit you're thankful already."

Champa: "Tsundere? Me? Absolutely not."
