Chapter 221: Obey Or Die
Leonhardt didn't waste time; his goal was very clear.
To destroy or end the current situation with the Orcs and avoid troubles that would interfere when the humans pushed north and tried to reclaim the basin from him.
He didn't want to fight on two fronts—knowledge regarding this kind of battle almost always led to defeat.
'Not to mention the Demons are also looking to slaughter me now.'
The Orcs were a nuisance, a minor issue, but they also needed to be dealt with.
But...
As Leonhardt walked to the entrance of the basin, his eyes scanned the distance, taking in a dirty, cracked wasteland with little grass and flora. This barren land was where the Orcs resided on the eastern continent. What confused Leonhardt was that their land on the western continent was bountiful and filled with great pastures.
'Why did they insist on coming here...'
Sylvie turned to him, tilting her head upon seeing his frown. "What's the matter, darling?" She became much closer and confident since her evolution into a Yuki Onna. "Shall I wipe them out for you?"
Leonhardt glanced at her before turning to look at Zafira and Asuka. Both were ready for battle, though they had different expressions: Zafira held an amused smile while almost like a giddy child, while the dragonoid wore a more serious face.
However, both wanted to fight beside him.
"I'm fine." He pulled on his waistcoat before tilting his head to the left until it cracked, and then to the right. "I am just stunned at how horrible this land is..."
The reason for this was the fertility and abundance of the greenery inside the basin; 'It doesn't make sense...' He touched his chin before muttering. "Almost like someone constructed it this way."
"Huh? I never noticed that..." Asuka looked around at the wastelands, taking in the distant mountains and the massive wall that covered the horizon. She couldn't understand what Leonhardt was talking about, but still thought it was odd that she hadn't noticed it before. "Oh... you're right." Asuka turned back, her finger pointing to the land to the southwest, human land with fertile and soft mud...
So why did the Orcish land beside the coast look so poor?
Leonhardt's eyes narrowed as he observed this contrast. "I have more questions for them... let us proceed."
"Yay!"
Sylvie clapped happily, skipping beside him. She had changed a lot over the past few days. Leonhardt couldn't help but notice the difference in her body and behaviour.
'She's more of a succubus than Zafira sometimes...'
Erina followed Leonhardt quietly, her green eyes shimmering as she watched his broad back. "So delicious..." Her tongue subconsciously dragged across her lips, leaving a trail of glossy saliva. "I can smell him from here."
"Ahem."
Zafira's glare cut into Erina's back as if slicing through paper, causing her to jump in shock. "Oh, umm..."
"What are you doing?" She said with a huff, arms crossed beneath her bust.
"N-Nothing..." Erina increased her pace, turning away from Leonhardt and walking beside Zafira. Both of them wore heavy armour made of thick chitin, like an exoskeleton.
Zafira's dark purple, almost black
Erina's a creamy white.
"Don't lose yourself to instinct. I can smell your arousal from here, so that means our beloved can too." Zafira tapped Erina's cheek with her tail and brushed against her smooth flesh, softly deforming it. "I don't want to lose a cute little sister." Her affection for the succubus was different from usual and caught Leonhardt's attention.
Erina only nodded slowly and looked down at her hands before sighing.
"It's so difficult..." She said, 'How do I control my instincts when everything in my head screams that he belongs to me?' It felt strange, but the more time she spent around him, the more she accepted that feeling until it consumed her thoughts.
"Don't worry, when the time comes, we will feast on him together."
Leonhardt watched the pair of succubi with a distorted smirk; he could hear their voices, and a tickle filled his chest. 'Two succubi at once? How delightful.' To him, Zafira and Erina were special, no different to Sylvie and Asuka, but close to the same level as Ifrit and Dravanna.
[Hmm~ so you put me on the same level as those girls. Even though I do so much for you?]
(Don't be so jealous, we both know that if he asked... you'd rush to give him everything!)
[Shut up!]
Ever since the evolution in the dungeon master meeting, Leonhardt had noticed the pair became weaker, not just in their voices but also in the presence inside his soul chamber. 'Have they become too weak even to take form now?'
Leonhardt didn't like that, because he was getting used to Ifrit's and Dravanna's presence when alone in the throne room.
'You both should focus on recovering.'
"Oh? What's that in the distance?" Asuka grunted, her sword flung from her shoulder to the ground with a resounding thud.
"What did you see?"
Sylvie was still short, and so even when jumping, she couldn't see the thing Asuka mentioned. "Hap!" Her body bounced, twintails flicking in the air. "Where!?" Each movement reveals an alluring sight for Leonhardt.
'It seems that her shape is the most natural... like a huge peach.'
"It's the orcs."
Leonhardt's bored voice sounded, his hand spreading around the tempting fruit shaking before him. "Stop jumping. I can see up your skirt."
"Ack!?" Sylvie froze for a moment when his hand wrapped around her rump, before she noticed who it was. "Oh~ honey, you can touch it all you like, hehe."
The cute and shy elf was dead.
"Get behind me, I don't want to deal with chaos today."
Leonhardt stepped out into the front. He looked to his side. "Zafira, Erina, can you protect the others?" Both succubi nodded, his low, charming voice intoxicating. "Thanks. I'm counting on you."
Asuka grumbled, not wanting to be protected, as she considered herself the strongest of his women. However, she knew that wasn't true after seeing what Zafira and Erina were capable of doing, 'I just need to train more!'
The approaching Orcs consisted of twenty people, one of whom rode an enormous monster called a warg—a creature similar to a wolf, but ghastly, with sharp fangs and a massive body covered in sharp, blade-resistant fur.
"So this is their true leader..."
[Wow, to think an orc could reach this level!]
(Well... how delicious would it be to devour his core?)
"True..." Leonhardt found himself agreeing with the women. After becoming a Majin, his previous thoughts and doubts faded, and devouring the defeated became second nature; he stopped putting himself below others. "I want to crush his fat little head."
The desire to dominate and conquer grew the longer he lived.
'Maybe this is fate...'
As a chimaera, he could make use of the world eaters' core better than any other race.

The orc rode atop a warg; its fur was thick, black, and sharp like needles. Its eyes shone red as if blood-filled, with large fangs that poked from beneath its snout.
The orc wore thick hide armour, made of goblin skin, which provided excellent protection against blunt force trauma or slashing weapons.
"Ug, Thar! The enemy!"
Leonhardt was stunned by the stupidity and broken common of the orc's speech, but remained calm. There wasn't a point in getting worked up about such a lowly creature.
'He is still a threat to my kingdom, so I can't waste time with words.'
Their groups approached, with Leonhardt letting his mana churn like a ball of dough, letting it grow and grow before siphoning more off that spread around his body, creating an aura of force that would protect him and pressure anyone he deemed an enemy, almost enough to make weaker beings kneel.
The orc's face morphed into something ugly, almost as if he had seen the worst thing in his life, before he screeched out orders.
"Attack them!"
His massive axe flew from his shoulder, held with both hands as his warg rushed forward with its jaws open.
"DON'T BE A FOOL!"
A thunderous roar echoed across the wasteland. Disappointment and fury boomed across the land with a terrifying power that caused all the other Orcs to halt, except for their leader.
There was also a sense of authority and leadership behind it.
Leonhardt didn't draw his sword—instead, his right hand flickered with black flames... the heat causing the air to crackle.
"Orc leader, do you want to see your people massacred?" He stepped closer, ignoring the spears and rusted blades pointed at him from the scared monsters. "Have you no brain cells in that ugly head of yours?"
"You!" The orc's mouth opened wide as spittle flew like an arrow.
Leonhardt's eyes twitched; he raised his hand, black flames roaring on top. "Obey me, and I will let your people enjoy glory, honour and paradise." The black flame jumped from his hand to the other, before another formed, the heat sizzling the air two metres around Leonhardt, his eyes narrowing with a malevolent smirk. "Or Die."
His body blurred, appearing in front of the orc, his palm against the Orc Leader's face.
"Now make your choice."
