Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!

Chapter 222: Ravenfist Orcs

The orc's pupils dilated the moment Leonhardt's flames bit at his flesh, searing heat melting him in seconds. He thrust his hands back at the growling warriors, upset at the sudden treatment. Unlike humans, this monster spoke in their language. He instinctively understood that something was different.

"Who?" The orc's low grunt in orcish echoed. "Who are you?"

"I am your future master," Leonhardt said calmly, not caring if they understood or not, but the orc seemed to understand his words, "and I'm the king of goblins." The sentence caused fear and uncertainty to spread across the Orcs like wildfire.

Although the Orcs and Goblins fought and showed hatred like no other, their races could evolve into similar monsters if given time; thus, their races treated each other like cousins.

Typically, the goblins ended up the weaker of the two, though, and got pushed around.

The orc leader felt a shiver run through his body, 'He can speak the common tongue...' That thought alone scared him, because it meant that this creature in front of him was more evolved than he could have anticipated.

A terrifying foe stood before them.

When making deals with humans using an oath of the goddess, the Orcs could use this to their advantage, allowing for loopholes for them to attack and steal land back when they grew tired of them.

This reason was why they remained in the broken wasteland... to gain such an advantage from their negotiation partner.

Leon flicked the cinderblasts away, the black balls of flame arcing through the sky before colliding with a rocky outcrop and blowing it into tiny pieces. The Orcs jumped in fear, as if bitten by ants.

"My terms are simple, Orc leader. Obey me and join my kingdom, or die here. I will slaughter your people and send waves of goblins to feast on your weak." The words echoed in orcish, terrifying and dark... but then Leonhardt adjusted his tie. "However, if you follow me, I wasn't lying. I will bring all of you into my arms, evolve and improve you in battle, knowledge and ensure an orc doesn't die of hunger for the rest of their life."

The orc leader looked back at Leonhardt, his massive frame blocking the man's view, before looking at his tribe. It was a pitiful sight; covered in dirt, their skin was flaking and peeling due to a lack of nutrients.

Although they fought and desperately tried to win, the human numbers were far greater than their initial scouting had indicated.

"What will become of me?" The leader asked, probably thinking Leonhardt would kill him.

"Become my Captain, protect the southern border where the land is fertile and free from Humans." Leonhardt opened his dungeon interface, and the orcs gasped as it displayed a tranquil forest, unlike the dark elven forest, with its vibrant red and green leaves, and several rivers and streams trickling. "This land is my dungeon, I can create a haven beneath the ground, here.... this is under the surface. This will be a place for you to protect your beloved mates and children, train them and prepare them for life."

Leonhardt's image flickered, and a vast plain with boars and wolves appeared; the information he gained from his extensive knowledge made it resemble the Ghasta plains, where the Orcs originated: tall rocky pillars, distant mountains, and abundant greenery.

"Make your choice, if you take my hand, I will change the fate of your tribe, if you have an enemy, they will be mine, all I seek is your loyalty, and aid should filthy creatures threaten our land!"

"O-Our land?" The orc leader couldn't understand Leonhardt. He gulped and reached out for the image, as one of the few who had lived in the Ghasta plains as a child, memories and nostalgia flooded his mind. 'The humans promised this... but now they are trying to kill us, can I trust him?'

"Do you worry I will betray you? Worry not... I am Leonhardt Van Arlet, King and D-Rank Dungeon Master of Embervale."

Those words changed the atmosphere of the Orcs, but even Zafira's eyes widened, she turned to her master and lover... her lips pursed as she held her words. "D-Rank... is that why Belial...?"

"Oh, Holy Spirit, have you brought us a Dungeon Master?!" The Orc Leader suddenly bowed, shocking the others, his fat head touching the floor, his axe in front of him. "I am called Olgana, the Destroyer. My people are yours!" His voice boomed, before repeating in Orcish so the others could understand.

"O' Dungeon Master!" The warriors chanted... it made Leonhardt and his group confused.

"Huh? So we're not gonna fight?" Asuka huffed, dropping her sword.

"Amazing..." Nyxara's eyes shone with an eerie light.

[Well, finally you understood how to use your Dungeon Master status... Humans don't care, but monsters? Heh!]

Ifrit's warmth spread through Leonhardt's body; she was the source of this plan and had taught him, while he was unconscious, about being a dungeon master with a specific rank.

Low-level monsters and those without a king or true leader seek out Dungeon Masters, sometimes as a substitute because of the safety they can gain.

Though most dungeon masters would treat them like slaves...

Monster races feature special mutants, those that have evolved with unique classes or traits. A goblin Hero or a goblin Champion serves as a mighty warrior in the goblin army.

Then there are the Goblin Lord, King, or Emperor, who give the race the ability to establish a pseudo domain, such as a dungeon, to manage and protect their people. It comes with limits and is the actual reason the Orcs left the Western Continent.

They no longer have an emperor; instead, they have only five kings, and they cannot provide for all the Orcs.

"So, you accept me as your Dungeon Master?"

"We Swear!"

Leonhardt stood quietly watching the orcs with an amused grin, brushing his hair back. "Okay." Then pointed to them with his finger. "I accept you all."

[You have selected a new monster to add to your dungeon!]

[Will you spend Evolution Points to grant them your gift?]

'Ifrit, what do you suggest?'

He noticed the difference for the goblins, and his gift was a great deal. But to give it to the Orcs, he wanted to get some expert advice first.

[If you give them your gift, it is likely the orcs will grow to worship you more than their patron spirit, although you might feel a slight drain to apply it to all the orcs... I think it's a good idea.]

'I see...'

"Then, as a gift, for those who have fallen to my blade and become nothing but ashes," Leonhardt's palm glowed with a purple flame. Using his Majin bloodline, he hovered slightly off the ground, the wind swirling around his body. "Accept my Mark!"

A purple mark shot forward from his hand, embedding itself into the leader's chest before dispersing to his tribe.

The power that flowed through the Orcs was immense.

Zafira felt a shiver crawl up her spine; she knew that Leonhardt was growing, but... his strength was enough for her to feel now. 'He's stronger!' Her heart pounded at the thought of him dominating her, pushing her down and thrusting his...

'Ah... No... Stop thinking about it... We have yet to fight...' Zafira bit her lip as her cheeks turned pink.

It took ten minutes for the Orc's transformation to finish... their bodies wrapped in purple flames, lifted off the ground before dispersing.

The Orcs were muscular and tall, with some individuals standing over three meters. They all had sharp teeth and red eyes. They were brutes and looked horrifying, but they seemed to have improved significantly in their fighting abilities.

As the leader of the Orcs, Olgana was a hulking mass of muscle, with skin as thick as steel; his purple markings, like a flame tattoo, ran down his chest and back, resembling wings.

"From now on... You are Clan Ravenfist." Leonhardt gave this name because each Orc had one black fist with a purple hint like the tail feathers of a raven.

"Olgana Ravenfist, stand."

"My lord!" The Orc rose, his expression transformed completely from before, now filled with energy and excitement. His eyes burned with power as he knelt before Leonhardt. "I am your loyal servant!"

Leonhardt shook his head. "No, you are my captain, the one who will protect and lead your orcs. I will not make you my servants or slaves. I promised."

The orcs paused, the effect of his brand strong enough to make them forget that fact for a moment, but when Leonhardt brought it up, it doubled the impact.

[Reputation and Loyalty of all RavenFist Orcs +100]

'Ah... so there is an advantage to this.' Leonhardt thought as he stood back, turning to Zafira and nodding, telling her to explain everything.

She moved forward. "You will all be moving to the southern area; at the moment, it isn't complete. Please note that the first few days may be challenging. We will send one hundred goblin warriors to aid in moving your young and weak.

"Erina, can you help Zafira guide the orcs to their land?"

"Yes, master."

Once Zafira had separated from the group, Leonhardt felt a weight drop off his shoulders. Olgana stood beside him like an old guard dog; he looked at the Orc and chuckled. "I never thought I'd find an orc cute. Olgana, shall we visit your home?"

Asuka, Nyxara and Sylvie looked shocked, but that's when Leonhardt smirked.

"I plan to take this land under the control of my dungeon and build an outpost to protect the future arrivals of any orcs." Leonhardt then motioned towards the vast sea in the distance with a massive smile. Then turned back and tilted his head with pride.

"What do you think, Olgana?"
