Chapter 4: Chapter 3
Her radiance protected those Alexander had healed from returning to Yomi. The lesser radiance shone despite her life and the Lord's death. That truth did not blind him from the situation. Any of these dirty pagans could snuff him out like a candle in the wind.
Taking the single second of opening the two gods bought him flesh was created across his soul. Perhaps it was the class levels affecting his soul, but the body was different this time. More symmetrical with specks of black starting to spread in his blonde locks.
He was bare, lean and tall. Alexander did not blush. He had sworn off that sin long ago. Amaterasu's breasts swayed and seemed to have their own gravitational pull he had to fight as she turned to him. Her smile was a fox's, the gleam in her eye that of the serpent.
The staff wielder Hachiman was different. He smiled with something approaching, yet never reaching humanity. There was an infinite distance between man and "god," yet his was smaller.
The gap seemed almost crossable, but Alexander doubted he would. His robes flowed in Susano's wind even as he stared almost protectively down at him. It was strange, but Alexander disliked the warrior god slightly less.
Tension built as the siblings gazes clashed. Lightning clashed with the great corona of flame delicately controlled not to damage the city more. Divine power grew in the air before the storm god relented, and disappeared upon the breeze.
"Now that he's gone, let us speak little one." Amaterasu said.
Hachiman incline his head, "Indeed, your actions even while Susanoo-san was pursuing you speaks well to your character. Perhaps enough to look past the necromancy?"
The last was a question to the sun goddess whose smile did not wave, "Japan does have traditional necromancy, have you heard of the Gashadokuro?"
Alexander did not speek simply weighed his odds of escape before relenting.
"What do you wish of me," He forced the last word out after a moment, "Goddess Amaterasu."
Trust in the power of the gods but not their benevolence. The only benevolent God is The Lord. The rest are only principalities wreaking havoc upon his earth.
Her smile turned koy as she said, "A group of naughty boys attacked Kyoto, the shinto pantheon would be ever so grateful for your aid."
What was the principle of negotiating? Ask for something outragous so you can be negotiated down.
"I want a lab and a research grant from your pantheon to the tune of a hundred million yen, I will share reports of my progress with you. Beyond that I wish for authority to hunt down any non-endangered phantasmal species within your territories, and for permission to revive any one who has died on Japanese soil."
She smiled wider, "Deal~"
Oh lord my god I should have been more of a sinner, I was not greedy enough! Alexander prayed internally before bowing his head, "How shall we reach Kyoto Lady Amaterasu?"
—
The wrathful fox stood vigil over the wreckage of her city. Tears stained her cheeks, even as her nine tails thrashed causing more destruction. Then she calmed herself.
Yasaka is a smart woman, and knew that this was their only chance. The human sat upon her snout, patted her fur before nodding. Lowering himself to a lotus position he commanded, "Now."
So she drew upon the world. The nexus of ley lines empowered her with the breath of the world. All her focus sharpened as she pushed the energy up towards the boy.
His body petrified slowly as the golden light grew brighter and brighter. As the petrification consumed his skin the light was sealed within the statue. Hands closed in prayer, the statue hardened its will, and solidified into stone.

One With Nature(Epic)]
The light of resurrection was compressed to a single point as he mixed the natural energy with his mana. Mana, magic, it was the combination of vital and spiritual energies. The powers of the soul and the flesh, and yet with terrifying swiftness he found the correct ratio of energies.

Balanced as all things should be. Yin Yang, Light Darkness, his lord had separated it and from it all things are created. The energy of the world suffused in the divinity of a thousand thousand dead gods, only one of them true.
Billions of years of energy condensed into a great magical reactor at the core of the planet. Yin and Yang condensed and given a deeper conceptual weight like carbon turned to iron. Not steel, iron like the fusion at the core of a star.
This denser natural energy he mixed with the rest of his energies. It deepened his reserves, and perhaps it would be enough to revive them all.
If not?
Well there was always next time, he was simply glad he could con those stupid shintos into letting him try this. Senjutsu their deepest secret given for a paltry resurrection of a million dead.
The incredulity of his statement was not lost on Alexander. A day before it had taken everything from him to raise a single man from the dead. Within the day he had leapt like a carp through the dragon gate reviving thousands in a single beautiful moment, and now he sought even greater enlightenment.
His stone eyes could not see, his stone lips could not open, and his stone lungs could not scream, yet still he moved. Cracked the stone and forced the words into existence, "Let there be light."
And there was.
[You Have Died]
[Respawn From Rib Clone?]
The Goddess Amaterasu cupped his soul, and with a burst of sunlight healed the damage dealt to his soul. Like a muscle broken it healed back superior, and for that at least Alex was grateful. Even as his flesh was reborn around him, the single missing rib tingled slightly.
His smile though did not waver.

[Racial Bonu—] swiping the screen casually to the side he stared up at the goddess.
"Show me to my lab."
