Extra's Stories

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Back to The Guild

Now Erza is lying on Porlyusica's nursing bed. The old woman looks at the redhead lying on the bed before her gaze narrows toward the white-haired teen in the corner with his back leaning against the wall, arms crossed.

"So boy, you finally decide to come out?" Porlyusica asks the teen, anger barely hidden under her tone, at first when Makarov brings him back. His body was malnourished and was about to fall apart at any moment. His eyes looked dead, she wanted to ask some questions but she didn't have the chance as the teen just disappeared putting everyone in a panic, as he just vanished without a word or location.

Porlyusica notices the teen's skin color is much paler than she remembers but before she could voice her question. The teen speaks up. "Yes." A simple quick answer. Fate has his reason for reappearing again, but he would rather keep it for himself.

A few moments back.

"Why is she still here?" Fate mumbles to himself glaring at the redhead who is running aimlessly in the raining forest, she doesn't stop searching, her body looks weak and if this continues, she might die.

"Son of a bitch." Fate uttered closing his eyes, wanting to just ignore her and not get more involved in the story, yet he couldn't find it in himself to ignore her. Letting out a sigh, the Extra walks toward the kneeling redhead. "Are you okay?"

Erza slowly lifts her head meeting Fate's eyes. Her face shows a sign of hope before losing consciousness, the Extra catches the scarlet-haired teen before she can hit the ground.

'Just how stubborn are you?' Fate picked up the unconscious redhead, the Extra walked toward a familiar tree house that was close to his.

Back to the present.

Porlyusica narrows her gaze to the teen who is leaning against the wall, before turning her attention back to the redhead. She is mad at the teen for worrying everyone, everyone has seen how he looked so close to death's door before he disappeared again.

When she sees him again, Porlyusica wants to beat him for worrying her and others, but she decides otherwise after seeing the redhead in his arms.

"Tell me, boy, why did you leave so suddenly?" Porlyusica asks, narrowing her gaze toward him. "Do you know how much she cares for you? The girl didn't stop looking for you. Even after everyone said you're gone. She didn't stop looking. Do you know that?"

Fate only nodded, an action which made Porlyusica furious at his action but before she could do anything, the Extra spoke up. "It is complicated... I saw visions, of the future."

Fate lied.

Not completely—he mixed in enough truth to make it believable.

Porlyusica's eyes narrowed as he spoke, but he continued without hesitation.

"In X780, Erza will become the youngest S-Class Mage. The next year, Mirajane will earn the title. The year after that, a mage named Mystogan will follow. And in X784..."

He paused, glancing at the sleeping redhead before delivering the final blow.

"Tenrou Island will fall."

Porlyusica's breath hitched.

Tenrou Island—Fairy Tail's sacred ground.

A few knew of its existence, and even fewer had set foot on it.

Her sharp eyes studied him.

"Really now?" she said, crossing her arms. "Do you even know what the island looks like?"

Fate let out a sigh, still watching over Erza.

"Tenrou Island stands alone in the middle of the sea, with no other land in sight. It's a small, steep island covered in lush vegetation—vivid greens and yellows. One side is particularly rocky, with large formations jutting toward the sky. Near the shore, a massive rock protrudes over the sea. Near the center, another rocky formation towers above, with waterfalls spilling into a lake below. And at the very top..."

He turned to face her, his icy-blue eyes gleaming under the dim light.

"The Great Tenrou Tree stands tall, watching over it all."

Porlyusica froze.

His description was perfect—down to the smallest detail.

But that was impossible.

Despite being a Fairy Tail mage for over two years, Fate hasn't stayed in the guild long enough to even travel to that island, let alone hear about where the S-Class trial will take place.

Yet here he was, describing the island as if he had stood there himself.

"Tenrou Island is also the resting place of Fairy Tail's First Master... Mavis Vermillion."

A sharp intake of breath.

"It... can't be..."

A deep voice cut through the tension, and Fate turned his gaze toward the doorway.

Makarov stood there, his expression unreadable.

He had come after hearing about Fate's return, only to hear the boy the wild claims of having visions of the future. At first, he had dismissed them as nonsense.

But now?

Now, the old man wasn't so sure.

Fate's voice was steady, unwavering.

"Am I right, Master?"

Makarov didn't answer right away. His eyes searched the boy's face, looking for hesitation—for doubt.

He found none.

Instead, Fate's piercing gaze bore into him, waiting.

The old master exhaled heavily.

"So... X784. Tenrou Island will fall."

He crossed his arms, his usual jovial nature completely absent.

"Can you tell us how?"

Fate hesitated.

"You're all attacked..."

Silence.

Makarov's hands clenched.

"But everyone survives."

A breath of relief left the old master's lips.

But something was off.

His eyes flicked to Fate, replaying his words carefully.

"I was not on that island that day, and everyone survived."

The phrasing struck him.

Before he could question it, Porlyusica's sharp voice cut through.

"Then what was the point of driving everyone into madness!?"

Fate remained still, eyes dark.

"I wasn't in the visions."

His voice was quiet.

"I am not part of any of them. That means... I wasn't supposed to be here."

Makarov's breath caught in his throat.

Porlyusica's eyes widened.

Fate wasn't just following the visions—he was ensuring they remained unchanged.

Because if things changed—if he made one wrong move—would everyone still survive?

Makarov looked at the boy standing before him.

So young.

Yet carrying the weight of a future he was never meant to exist in.

The old master sighed, his serious expression softening.

"You weren't in the visions, right?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Fate nodded. "Yeah."

Makarov smiled. "Then that's not our future anymore."

Fate's eyes widened slightly.

The old man took a step forward.

"You are part of Fairy Tail now. You're part of this family."

His voice was warm—filled with unwavering conviction.

"You don't have to bear this burden alone."

Fate remained frozen in place as Makarov extended a hand toward him.

"Whatever happens, we'll face it together. As a family.

—So… come home, Fate."

Looking at the old master who is reaching out to him, makes Fate feel a bit complicated.

This old man is willing to gamble the future and safety of everyone, all of a boy he barely knows.

He doesn't know whether this man is stubborn and truly cares for him or just an idiot.

Fate's feelings for the old master are complicated, but seeing the determined look in his eyes, Fate couldn't help but sigh, before a small smile appears on his lips.

"Fine, let's do it your way."

He said before a red blur suddenly fly toward him.

"Found you."

Erza said cornering Fate with hands and boots dug into the wall behind him, keeping him in place, her once bright brown eyes looked menacing with her red hair cascading down her face, with some shadow covering her face.

Fate "..."

After that.

Pushing open the door to the Fairy Tail Guild, many eyes turn to see the Master walking in followed by a scarlet-haired teen.

This brings the mood of everyone up seeing Erza has finally stopped searching, the last time they saw her was in East Forest searching for the Extra.

They then notice the smile on Erza's face before their gaze lands on the body she is dragging.

Seeing the mop of white hair from the body, Mira turned to Elfman seeing him still sitting next to Lisanna, then her eyes narrowed back to the body Erza dragged back.

Seeing the bored white icy-blue eyes, pale white skin, and white hair. He might look older and... more dead, but there is no mistake about it; there is no other guy who would let themselves get dragged around by a woman like that, and there is no other guy who could make Erza smile like that.

"EVERYONE!"

Erza began raising Fate up with ease, holding him between his armpit.

"I have successfully brought Fate back!" She said, presenting him like some kind of trophy. An act that caused the majority to burst out laughing and cheering for Erza.

"Huh?" Fate notices Natsu running toward his direction, magic energy gathering in his right fist.

The Extra didn't need to look up, he could already see him with [Mind Rope] it doesn't take a genius to know what someone like Natsu is about to do. The Extra just smirked with his bang covering his eyes.

An action that sent a chill down Mira's spine while also somewhat ticking her off. As she was reminded of the taunting face that openly mocked her all those years ago.

Mira blinked, and the Extra was gone in just a blink of a second, the Take Over mage didn't know what just happened but before she could question any further, the young Dragon Slayer's flaming fist collided with the redhead's face. An action that shocked the entire guild as Erza was sent crashing down on the ground.

Erza hasn't bothered with any of the guild brawls after Fate left. After half a month, Mira was able to get some of her confidence back as she challenged Erza to a fight, but the redhead didn't even bother to fight back nor defend herself. An action that causes everyone to worry about the scarlet-haired teen's health.

Even Gray and Natsu avoid troubling her, stopping their fighting every time she is around not due to fear but rather due to care for her mental health. They both said they would give Fate a beating for making Erza cry.

Natsu was trying to give Fate a good punch in the face, but as he jump up with his fist cocked back, the Extra seemingly disappear but he could still somewhat smell his scent. Without knowing it, his Fire Dragon Iron Fist collided with Erza's face.

"Welcome to hell pal." Natsu turned seeing the Extra smirking face, as Erza crashed into the ground kicking up a large amount of dust.

He quickly turned his attention back to Erza, as he felt a chill down his spine, bloodlust floated in the air as Erza slowly rose up, her sharp menacing glare directed toward the pinkhead, as he was paralyzed in fear. Seeing a sight he hadn't seen in two years.

"AHHH! ERZA IS BACK!" Both Natsu and Gray yelled out in fear from instinct. As the redhead beat down the pinkhead.

Soon a brawl breaks out, Makarov looks like he is about to faint seeing his entire guild being destroyed by his children. But he couldn't help but smile, seeing Erza back to her usual self joining in the guild brawl.

The Master looks around, trying to spot the Extra in the chaos.

Makarov narrowed his eyes around the guild, hoping Fate didn't run off again, somewhat panicked remembering how broken Erza got after he left, the Master quickly looked around trying to spot him, but not seeing him anywhere in the guild brawl.

He jumped up, spun, and landed on the second floor to get a better look, but still no sign of the teen anywhere until his eyes narrowed upward, seeing Fate standing from the ceiling, looking down at the chaos below. An empty death look on his eyes before it twitched into a smirk.

Suddenly music plays out of nowhere, confusing everyone for a bit. The Extra suddenly dives down crashing on top of Elfman who was holding Max by the collar with a fist cocked back.

This gains everyone's attention, seeing Fate now in a large, oversized white shirt with a long leather necklace with a gold spike. Mira's eyes widen seeing Fate standing on top of her brother, a cocky smirk on his face, this sight makes Mira feel off.

"Let's have some fun!" The Extra now wields the power of the ultimate weapon Enkidu. With his arms spread as multiple chains came out, the Extra sent the chains at his guildmate.

As Makarov's jaw fell, eyes widened, shocked and confused seeing chains coming out from thin air and began destroying his guild.

"W-What kind of magic is that?" Makarov mumbled this was the first time he had ever seen magic like this, magic that sent chains out from nowhere, it didn't look like Requip Magic.

But he couldn't make sense of which magic could let one summon chains from portals.

Mira's fists tightened glaring at Fate, after her incident with him, she had been waiting for him to return to apologize but he didn't return, making her anxiety grow more and more by days until her feelings turned to anger.

And now he dared to return and act like nothing happened?

This pissed her off as she charged toward Fate with her fist cocked back, her body glowing doing a full-body Take Over.

Fate smirks crossing his arms and doing an x-shape, adding [Reinforcement] he blocks the Take Over Mage attack. Her angry blue eyes meet the smug pale icy blue.

"You got some nerves showing your face here." Mira growled glaring at him.

"Awe? Did you miss me?" Fate taunt, making Mira's fist glow with dark magic energy. She throws another punch at the other teen.

Change

His Class switched and his clothes turned to those of his Saber Class: Senji Muramasa.

A metal blade with no handle appears in his hand, he raises it and blocks the attack. Her fist collided with the demonic blade forged by the curse blacksmith, Mira quickly jumped back holding her hand, despite her punching the flat side of the blade, her fist still somehow got cut by it.

"EHH!? How?" Mira was confused but her expression soon turned to a blush seeing Fate exposed hard steel abs and muscle he got from years of Scathach beat- I mean training. Getting chased around by a woman wielding spears that could kill gods is really terrifying.

"Well, you did just punch a blade with the curse of Thorns, kiddo." The blade in his hand began to have a small crack making the blacksmith narrow a disappointing glance at his damaged blade. "Another failure."

The blade broke disappearing right before her eyes, but he didn't seem bothered by losing his weapon, not one bit. 'What with that smug look?' She thought looking at him, Mira really wanted to beat his face right about now.

Fate raised his left hand, and a flame ignited in his palm.

Without hesitation, he reached into the fire and pulled out a glowing hot metal rod, its heat distorting the air around it. The sight left many of his guildmates in shock—he was wielding a burning blade with no handle, yet his expression remained calm.

Mira's instincts screamed at her to move. She leaped back just as Fate swung the weapon, but in her rush, she lost her footing.

Thud.

She hit the floor, landing on her backside.

Her breath hitched. Her heartbeat pounded in her ears.

For a brief moment, the overwhelming heat on her left side made her life flash before her eyes.

She turned wide, shaken eyes to Fate.

Her Take Over Magic flickered out instinctively.

Fate's gaze landed on her, his icy-blue eyes briefly widening before he sighed. Without a word, he shrugged off his white kimono and tossed it over her head.

"Cover yourself, kiddo."

Mira sat there, stunned.

Her emotions—rage, adrenaline, confusion—were gone.

It was as if the swing of Fate's blade had sliced through them, leaving her completely dumbfounded.

Then she felt it.

Something was off.

Reaching up, she ran her fingers through her long, white hair—only to find half of it missing.

Her breath caught in her throat.

Her beautiful, waist-length hair, the one she had spent months growing, was burned away on one side.

The realization hit her like a thunderclap.

Mira's expression darkened.

She threw off the kimono, her fury reigniting tenfold, and pointed a trembling finger at Fate.

"You—!"

Her voice cracked with rage, her eyes filled with madness.

Fate, however, remained unimpressed.

He exhaled, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, my bad for not holding back. Guess I forgot you're still just a kid."

The entire guild went dead silent.

Mira's glare could have rivaled Erza's in pure intensity.

"Son of a—! I'll kill—"

BONK!

A hard fist came down on Mira's head, making her yelp and hunch over in pain.

Before she could recover, she looked up—only to meet Fate's glowering gaze.

"HEY! Is that how you talk to your elders!?" Fate barked, hands on his hips. "First, you don't even bother covering yourself, and now you're throwing around foul language!? Where are your manners, huh!?"

The entire guild stared in shock.

Mira's eye twitched violently.

She shot up, ready to scream at him.

"WHY YOU—"

BONK!

Another fist to the head.

Mira clutched her skull, pain throbbing as Fate continued his lecture.

"HEY! You listen when your elders are talking to you! You understand me!?" Fate scolded, his tone now that of a grumpy old man.

"I swear, if you keep talking back, I'll go get the belt!"

The room went still.

Somewhere in the back, Elfman, others, and even Makarov winced.

Mira's mouth snapped shut.

She sank to the floor, quietly holding her head, a mix of pain and mild fear flashing across her face.

Wordlessly, she reached for the kimono and wrapped it around herself.

The guild members exchanged glances.

Fate, the mysterious Extra, had just done the unthinkable—

He had tamed Mirajane Strauss.

Meanwhile in Fate's inner world (Scathach)

"Oh, so that is why you've been saving up SP." Scathach said somewhat amused at what her son just did.

Story Point: 3023

Points: 0

Magic: [Reality Marble]

Skill: [Black Friday] (0/1)(24hr)

"Creating a Reality Marble is no easy feat—some would even call it borderline impossible." Scathach mused, arms crossed as she observed their surroundings. "But thanks to that system of yours, you managed to bypass the usual limitations. Not bad."

There was a hint of pride in her voice, subtle yet unmistakable. After all, not just anyone could manifest their own world.

"So, tell me," she continued, turning to Fate, "what exactly does this Reality Marble of yours do?"

Fate smirked. "Well, believe it or not, it was inspired by a block game I used to play."

Scathach raised an eyebrow.

"Think of it as a world of endless items and unlimited possibilities—a source of infinite resources." He spread his arms, gesturing to the vast expanse around them. "As long as I get even a single glance at something, I can store it here."

Her proud grin widened. "Interesting. And?"

"And," he continued, "I figured out a way to take those items out using a modified form of Projection Magecraft."

To demonstrate, Fate raised his hand.

In an instant, an iron sword, a plate of steak, a bottle of wine, Gae Bolg, and a bucket of ice cream materialized before them.

Scathach didn't hesitate. She picked up the iron sword and, with a swift motion, sliced a piece of steak. In her other hand, a miniature Gae Bolg acted as a fork, effortlessly skewering the meat as she brought it to her lips.

She chewed thoughtfully.

"Hmm. Not bad." She swallowed, nodding in approval. "The meat's flavor isn't half bad, and I can feel my magic replenishing as I eat."

She took another bite.

Fate smirked. "Yeah, since this is an advanced form of projection combined with my Reality Marble, it's more like item creation—just a grade lower." He crossed his arms. "The key difference is that my projections still retain their original effects and uses."

Scathach glanced at the mini Gae Bolg in her hand, twirling it between her fingers before stabbing another piece of steak.

"Heh. Useful."

Fate shrugged. "Well, I like to keep my options open."

Scathach merely chuckled, savoring her meal as the reality they stood in stretched infinitely beyond them.

Companion Unlock: Senji Muramasa

"..." Fate stared at the notification for a bit. "Wait what?"

Scathach looked back at Fate seeing the shocked face he had. "I have to go."

He said before he disappeared from her world.

Opening his eyes the Extra came face to face with the Pseudo Servant but instead of the face of a sword-loving teen with red hair, the Extra came to face the curse blacksmith having his face.

"So you are the owner of this body." The curse blacksmith said with a smile while the Extra looked on in confusion on how exactly he was able to connect with the curse blacksmith.

"Don't pay too much attention to it, I used to possess a different body that probably came from one of my descendants, but apparently I am now possessing your body." Senji said looking around at the grassy land filled with blades that stabbed on the ground.

Fate's mind was running a mile a second trying to think of how this even happened. He then realized he was using his Saber Class Card, before he was suddenly kicked into his inner world.

Not knowing what happened, he decided to create the cheat skill [Black Friday] and used its effect to cut the cost of his Reality Marble to a 7000SP.

He quickly bowed his head lightly. "My apology but I have to go. I promise I will come back to visit you, sir."

The Saber Servant just chuckles before nodding. "You can call me Muramasa or whatever you want as long as you know how to address your elders, using 'sir' feels off when it comes from a kid. Well, don't let this old timer make ya late. Oh next time you visit, could you perhaps bring this old man some tea?" He said with a smile. "A cup of tea is best enjoyed with a view like this."

"I'll make sure to get you some, Gramp." He said before disappearing from the land of blades.

"Huh, weird kid. But good manner." Senji said staring at the beautiful horizon from his world.

Back in the real world.

"After that, he gave Mira a long lecture about manners and respecting oneself. Oh, and about how young people don't respect 'us old folks'." Erza explains to Fate as Mira is now in the corner sobbing.

"I see." Fate said with his arms crossed. Somewhat amused by the fact that Senji Muramasa, a Pseudo Servant was able to hijack his body after installing his Class Card pushing him into his inner world.

"I think the main question here is. Fate, what was that?" Makarov asks walking up to him.

The old Master was the first one to notice Fate was not himself anymore, not knowing what exactly happened to the boy. Makarov approaches Fate(Senji) to talk, and unexpectedly the old Master finds himself enjoying the old blacksmith's company despite the latter possessing the body of a well-built teen.

"Well, that was Senji, Senji Muramasa." Fate began to explain, telling them a white lie about how Senji was the spirit of a blacksmith who now rested within his body, he gained the old man's knowledge in forging weapons. Sometimes he would take over to enjoy the rest of his days before his spirit finally found peace and moved on.

This is BS and he knows it, yet it still somehow convinces everyone and they all believe him.

'It seems my ability to convince others is better than I thought.' Fate then narrows his eyes to his stat. Having a Charisma of 8.2 out of 10 along with the Skill [Charmer] and [Slide Trickster] to boost.

With this, he could probably BS-ting his way through almost anything but the Extra knew doing so might one day backfire at him to the point of no recovery.
