"It truly is a troublesome twist of fate, Noel," Jellal replied coldly from the podium, his expression just as unpleasant.

It was as if a bolt of wild lightning suddenly tore through the air, sparking an invisible storm of tension.

Noel, seated in his chair, and Jellal, standing on the podium, glared at each other—completely unabashed in displaying their killing intent.

"Did you tell Lia about me going on a date with that girl last week? Are you trying to get me killed, you bastard?!"

"No shit. Why else would I tell Lia if I didn't want you dead? Don't think I don't know you've been running your mouth about my business, you moron!"

"You're the one who screwed me over last time! I almost ended up having tea with God thanks to you!!"

"Well, what a joyous occasion that would've been—one less menace in the world!!"

Noel and Jellal were now hurling insults at each other without a shred of dignity.

By the time they started dragging up embarrassing childhood stories, someone finally stepped forward.

"Alright, that's enough—both of you, stop fighting." Mira said with a gentle, soothing smile as she addressed the two.

"Hmph."

The two glanced at each other, snorted coldly, and turned away at the same time.

Only then did the tense atmosphere in the classroom slowly begin to ease.

"Um... I'm terribly sorry for interrupting the class."

As the air finally began to circulate again, a pink-haired woman with two fluffy sheep horns peeked in from the doorway and spoke nervously.

Wendy suddenly started feeling inexplicably guilty, looking like she was about to cry.

Noel tore the paper strip into shreds and tossed it aside.

With a cold tone, he said,

"It's one thing if they mess with the old man—not that big of a deal. But… to dare harm our tree? That's something we absolutely won't stand for!"

"That's what you're mad about??"

Wendy and Lucy's faces twisted into expressions of utter confusion.

"Of course!!"

Noel turned to them with a dead-serious expression.

"That tree is one of my go-to spots for my daily naps! Not to mention it's the shortcut I use whenever I sneak out of school. That tree's done a lot for me—we must repay its kindness!"

Wendy and Lucy had no idea what kind of expression was appropriate anymore.

"This means war!!"

The students of Fairy Tail Academy had gathered on the field with Noel at the center.

In the distance, several figures were slowly approaching.

"They're here?"

"Only five of them? Pretty bold."

"That's manly!"

As the group murmured among themselves, the five from Phantom Academy arrived.

"Hehehe, here we are," said Gajeel with a wicked grin, leading the group and staring down the Fairy Tail students.

While everyone was desperately trying to stop Elfman from going berserk, no one noticed that Noel had already stood up—his hair now streaked with silver.

As he spoke, he gently took off Erza's glasses.

"Ahhh! Erza and Noel are both going berserk now?!"

The Fairy Tail crew nearly dropped their jaws to the ground.

If even one of them went on a rampage, it would be total devastation—two of them together?

As everyone stood there stunned, the rampaging Noel and Erza tore through the entire field, knocking friend and foe alike to the ground without discrimination.

"Alright! Now that the fight's over, let's go celebrate at karaoke tonight. You free, Erza?"

After the battle finally ended deep into the night and they both returned to normal, Noel turned to Erza and asked casually.

"Y-y-yes… o-of course," Erza stammered, still flustered and not fully recovered from Noel's earlier words.

"Alright, it's decided then—an all-nighter tonight!" Noel raised his hand and called out to Natsu, Gray, Wendy, Lucy, and the others around him.

"Yeah! What should we sing?"

"Alright! I'm fired up now!"

"Let's invite Mira to karaoke too, okay?"

"Agreed!"
