Fairy Tail: I Stole the Ryujin Jakka in My Sleepwalking

Chapter 105: FTRJ: Chapter 105

With their allies suffering consecutive defeats, Lucy urged Carla to take Wendy and leave, but Wendy refused.

"I can't just watch you die here!" Wendy, though clearly terrified, shouted, seemingly trying to bolster her own courage.

"Finn said I have a sleeping dragon's power inside me. I just need to swallow the air… no, the sky!" Wendy focused; the air seemed to swirl around her.

"Wendy…" Carla watched the little girl with worry.

Suddenly, Carla's eyes widened. "That magical energy…"

"Power, flow into me!" Wendy's blue hair whipped in the wind; the surrounding magical energy seemed to flow into her.

Angel, about to strike Lucy, sensed something and looked at the little girl she'd ignored.

Magical energy gathered in Wendy's mouth. Wendy opened her eyes and roared, "Sky Dragon's Roar!!"

A vibrant blue magic circle appeared before Wendy, and a massive tornado erupted, its incredible tearing power heading straight for Angel.

"What in the world is that?!"

Before Angel could react, Wendy's roar engulfed her. As a summoning mage, Angel was physically vulnerable. The tornado's immense force tore at Angel, leaving wounds.

"Aaah!!" Pain wracked Angel; she screamed in the wind.

"Wendy!!" Lucy struggled to look up at the small figure.

At that moment, countless progress bars appeared around Lucy.

Countless pieces of knowledge flooded her mind. Lucy looked at Hibiki.

"Wendy's magic isn't enough to defeat Angel, so I used my ancient magic to let you remember an ultimate spell."

Hibiki sensed Lucy's strong bond with her spirits. "If it's you... you can definitely use this magic!"

Wendy's roar faded. It had drained her magic; weakness overwhelmed her, but she smiled. "I finally helped Lucy-san! I'm so happy!"

Wendy collapsed. Carla rushed to check on her, relieved to find no life-threatening injuries.

The badly injured Angel angrily scrambled to her feet. She never expected the little girl she'd dismissed to do this.

Angel, her expression ferocious, pulled out a key, intending to finish the girl, but everything around her instantly vanished.

"What's going on?" Angel looked around, bewildered. She was in a colorful space, with various orbs floating around her. Lucy stood before her, bathed in golden light, a chant echoing from her.

The oppressive pressure made Angel tremble; she couldn't move.

Lucy opened her eyes; bright stars shone within them.

"All Eighty-Eight Constellations: Shining! (Star Chart History) Release!"

Countless stars emitted an immense light, engulfing Angel.

"AAAAAH!!"

Angel fell weakly into the water, her vision blurring. Painful memories flooded her mind—in that despairing tower, watching the falling feathers, she'd prayed:

"I just want… to be an angel… and disappear into the sky…"

Angel, a member of Oración Seis, was defeated.

Chapter 160: Not on the Same Level

Midnight looked at Finn and Erza, a crazed smile on his face.

"I didn't expect to meet you so soon. Those three didn't satisfy me."

Erza frowned. "You defeated three? Who?"

Midnight, one hand on his hip, twisted and disappeared, reappearing behind them. "Who knows? But judging by the guild mark, it was probably from Blue Pegasus. Truly pathetic!"

He shook his head.

"I hope you two won't disappoint me!"

Finn looked at Erza. "You go stop Nirvana's revival. I'll handle this guy. I'll find you after I'm done. Don't worry, it'll be quick."

Looking into Finn's eyes, Erza nodded. She knew Finn would keep his word. "Okay, I'll go first."

Erza left.

"I won't allow anyone to interfere with Father!"

Seeing his prey escape, Midnight tried to stop Erza, but a sudden pain struck his abdomen.

It was Finn's kick.

"So fast!!" Midnight's eyes widened as he uncontrollably flew backward, smashing through trees, creating a dust cloud.

From the dust cloud, Midnight slowly rose.

Seeing Erza was already far away, he knew chasing her was pointless.

"Looks like I'll have to deal with you first!" Midnight spread his fingers, his magical energy surging. His fingers twisted.

Invisible waves instantly spread around Finn.

The waves, like spirals, pulled at Finn's clothes, binding him.

"Heh, Ten Wizard Saint Finn is just like this," Midnight chuckled, spreading his hands.

"I wonder why Father fears you so much," Midnight muttered.

"Even asleep, I sense their fear. But I've surpassed Father. Fear is useless against me."

"Hmm?" Seeing Finn's unchanging expression, Midnight was puzzled.

He pulled harder, tightening the clothes.

"Heh, space-distorting magic. But it can't affect the body," Finn chuckled.

Midnight frowned. "So what? I can kill you with clothes if I get serious!"

"Ignorant. You want to know why your father fears me?" Finn looked at Midnight.

"Because we're not on the same level!"

BOOM————

Flames erupted. To Midnight's horror, Finn's clothes returned to normal.

"Why?!" Midnight's eyes were full of disbelief; he took an involuntary step back.

Seeing the flames and the distorted space around them, Midnight's eyes widened. "The space around him… is distorted by the heat?!"

"How hot is that?!"

"Your magic slightly distorts space, but that's in calm space. Mine is inherently distorted. You can't control it," Finn chuckled.

"If your magic affected the body more, I'd respect you."

Finn shook his head. "But your level is like an ordinary person's."

"Impossible! I surpassed Father… I'm the strongest of the Six!" Midnight roared.

"Distortion won't hurt you, but you can't hit me!"

BOOM————

A fist landed on Midnight's abdomen. Midnight's mouth opened, his eyes bulging. He flew back.

Finn retracted his fist. "I said you can't distort bodies. I won't use my fists."

"Besides… who said magic can't hit you?" Finn's hands glowed; Raging Fire appeared.

Finn slowly drew his blade; flames roared around him.

The temperature soared to a level humans couldn't survive—near 6000 degrees!

Usually, Finn needed his Shikai for that temperature, but his flames had grown stronger over the years.

And after touching his Bankai, his power increased. He hadn't tested his Shikai's full power.

Testing it could destroy Magnolia in minutes.

But even normally, he could use his Shikai's power.

Midnight slowly got up. "Cough… ugh…" He spat out blood, looking at Finn's seemingly sleepy eyes. For the first time, he felt fear.

Finn moved, lightly swinging his blade.

The flames surged like waves.

"Distort! Aaaah!!" Midnight used his distortion magic, but nothing happened.

"It won't distort?!"

BOOM————

Flames engulfed Midnight. A huge explosion echoed through the forest, its shockwave destroying everything around.

Those running towards Nirvana heard it.

"What was that?" Sherria, with Gray, looked at the explosion.

Lyon looked at Gray. "That… was it Finn?" He knew it was probably Finn. No one else could cause such destruction.

Gray smiled. "That magic, that power… only Finn could do that!"

"That's a Ten Wizard Saint?" Lyon asked.

Gray patted Lyon's shoulder. "Don't vow to surpass Finn this time."

Lyon looked at Gray like he was an idiot. "I'm not that stupid anymore." He felt the lingering heat. "That's beyond human capabilities!"

"He's not human. He's a monster… the ultimate monster!" Lyon thought, gazing at the explosion.

The flames soon subsided.

Midnight, scorched, knelt on the ground, trembling.

"No… impossible… I'm the strongest… I surpassed Father… I'm the strongest wizard…"

Midnight's voice reached Finn's ears.
