Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Su Yan raised his head to look at Nirvana in the distance and said, "Honestly, isn't it better to live your life peacefully? You're right about one thing—we should've finished you off completely."

He finished speaking and took a few steps forward, putting some distance between himself and everyone else.

"What's he doing?" Sherry asked, puzzled.

Suddenly, Su Yan's body began to change. With a series of cracking sounds, patches of dragon scales appeared across his exposed skin. His frame grew larger, two draconic horns sprouted from his forehead, and his pupils hardened into something inhumanly cold. His hands and feet twisted, morphing into draconic claws, and a swirling cloud-like aura enveloped him.

With a powerful leap, Su Yan's entire figure transformed into a colossal blue dragon, launching upward into the sky.

The moment he took flight, dark clouds gathered overhead, accompanied by thunder and lightning. A fiery red flame-like cloud wrapped around one of Su Yan's massive forelimbs, and he began to coil and circle through the air.

"Dragon?!!!!"

Everyone present—except for the Fairy Tail members who'd seen it before—stared in sheer disbelief. Dragons were legendary beings; even though Natsu and Wendy were Dragon Slayers, neither had seen a real dragon in years. Seeing Su Yan now as a genuine blue dragon left them all stunned.

"Su Yan… isn't he human?!" Sherria practically yelled in shock. She already knew the man was as strong as a monster, but she never imagined he'd literally become one.

Erza explained calmly, "He said he's human but can assume a dragon's power."

"What difference is that from an actual dragon?" Leon murmured, speechless at how truly draconic Su Yan looked.

"No wonder his strength is so freakish…he's a real monster!" someone else muttered, clearly rattled.

While others felt some fear at Su Yan's draconic transformation, Natsu and Wendy were enthralled. Raised by dragons and taught Dragon Slayer Magic, they missed seeing real dragons with all their hearts. Natsu had once begged Su Yan to transform just to spar with him, but Su Yan had always refused. Seeing it now reawakened that awe in both Natsu and Wendy.

Atop Nirvana's remains, the newly awakened Oración Seis guild master, "Zero," also stared, momentarily stunned before erupting in maniacal laughter. "A dragon? I can't believe it—the legendary beast right here in a so-called 'regular guild!' Perfect for me to destroy!!"

He howled, "The era of dragons is over! I will end this dragon!! Nirvana…fire—ahhhhh!!!"

A terrifying mass of energy condensed into a huge black-and-white magic beam, blasting straight at Su Yan in the sky.

High above, the blue dragon Su Yan drew his head back, gathering power in his jaws.

"Heat—!!!"

A monstrous wave of sizzling breath erupted from Su Yan's mouth, resembling the famed roars used by Dragon Slayers like Natsu. The blazing Heat collided with Nirvana's magic beam in midair.

Booooom—!!!

A blinding flash lit up the sky. The catastrophic impact tore the surroundings apart.

"Uwaaah!"

"Guhhh—!"

Several onlookers cried out, buffeted by shockwaves. Gray hastily performed ICE MAKE: City Wall. Yet even from this distance, the intense heat partially melted his creation.

"It's so far, yet it's melting my ice?!" Gray's eyes widened at the unimaginable force.

In the sky, Su Yan's fiery blast overpowered Nirvana's beam, inch by inch pushing it back until finally, the searing breath rained down upon Nirvana's massive frame.

"It's impossible—Nirvana's magic is burning…!" Zero's eyes bulged in disbelief, his voice fraying into madness. "No, no…!"

Engulfed by the Heat, Nirvana's structure began melting into pools of molten stone. From one end of Nirvana to the other, Su Yan's scorching roar cut a swath of magma, effectively hollowing out its core.

Boom-boom-boom—!!!

The Heat continued on, scorching a huge rift into the Endless Sea of Trees beyond. Gasps rose from everyone watching. Even Erza and Natsu, who had previously glimpsed Su Yan's dragon form, trembled at the immensity of this power.

With its vital core melted, the six giant legs of Nirvana could no longer repair themselves, crumbling into ruins. Su Yan eased off the Heat, allowing the inferno in his mouth to subside.

"Pfft. Villain died because he talked too much," Su Yan's draconic voice rumbled, clearly annoyed by Zero's endless ranting moments ago. Then he descended, his massive lungs exhaling the last traces of Heat.

"The dragon's coming!" some guild members cried, nervously watching as the huge blue dragon swooped lower.

But in an instant, that titanic form shrank back to Su Yan's human shape. People visibly relaxed, tension leaving their bodies as he touched down softly. His dragon form carried too much pressure for most of them to handle.

And thus, the threat of Nirvana ended in one final, blazing stroke, leaving nothing but scorched earth and a molten scar in the forest. Su Yan, reverting to human, stood amidst the aftermath.
