First Immortal Cultivator's Chosen Descendant

Clark then wakes up and looks around. He looks down and notices his body is covered in this green nasty sludge. It stinks so bad. He runs outside to find the nearest river and jumps in to take a bath. Clark completely forgot he deactivated his luck stat. So while he was taking a bath this creature jumped out. It had the head of lion but the body of a bear. It had a mossy green pattern on its fur. He just froze in place and looked at the bear. Then before he could think it lunged at him. Clark then raised his hand and went to block the bear. To his surprise it worked. So he pulled his fist back and punched the bear as hard as he could. The bears head came clean off like it wasn't even attached in the first place.

Giauss then rushes over and notices what Clark has done. He says "Oh it was just a Ursalion. In these parts they aren't that strong. Just at the peak of mortal or early pseudo-transcendent. Looks like that one was just peak mortal. Also your going to need another bath your covered in blood now." Clark then snaps out of his daze and looks down. He sees all the blood and starts to bathe again. Giauss then says "I'll keep watch this time Don't worry. I would've been watching before but we never got attacked by anything so I thought it was safe. I guess we're going to have to be more vigilant." Clark nods and says "Yeah that why I came out here alone. But I guess our luck has run out."

Clark finishes cleaning up and puts on his clothes. He heads back to camp. They make breakfast and eat. They pack everything back up and start walking again. They walk for about an hour then a monster jumps out of nowhere. It was a panther but it was 3 times the size as the ones on earth. It was blacker than night almost like its always in the shadows. Giauss then screams "its a midnight panther run you 2 go hide Alaric and I got this." Clark and Sarah take off running. They hide in some bushes they found. They watched the fight. It was dragging on for a while the beast probably was powerful.

Then all of a sudden Clark got a chill down his spine. He looked back and saw another midnight panther watching them. Clark yells "SARAH RUNNN!" He then blocks the panthers path. The panther rushes at him. Clark was barely able to dodge. Clark punches the panther but unlike last time it did nothing. So Clark grabs a sword from his spatial ring and before Clark could do anything with it. The panther lounges at him again but this time Clark gets hit. He now has a deep wound on his back after failing to dodge. He fights through the pain raises his sword and rushes the panther. They trade blows the panther bites his left arm but he uses this opportunity. He uses the sword In his right arm and shoves it in the panthers neck.

After a few seconds The panther goes limp and the AI says "your skill The Strong Devour The Weak has activated. You have gained 25 years of cultivation. Your skill cultivation refinement has activated you have gained 125 years of cultivation." Clark lays there breathing heavily. Sarah comes back over and starts crying "Clark are you ok? Please dont die. You cant leave me here all alone". Clark hears Sarahs voice but he can't say or do anything. He then passes out because the blood loss. Giauss and Alaric finally finishes their panther. They rush to Sarah and Clark's position. They get there and find Sarah crying holding Clark. He's covered in blood and they see the body of the panther. Giauss rushes over with what looks like to be a health potion from video games. He then pours it in Clarks mouth.

Clarks wounds start closing at a visible rate. Then Giauss said "We should make camp. He needs to rest. Ive given him a recovery elixir but he's not out of the woods yet. He's lost way too much blood we have to monitor him." They make camp and lay Clark down to rest. Sarah refuses to leave his side. While she sits there with him Giauss goes to Alaric and says "We need to start pushing our perception. We got a bit lax because the first day there wasn't any monsters." Alaric sighs and says "I agree. This was way too close. He still might not even make it through this."

They wait about 3 hours and finally Clark wakes up. He tries to sit up but he cant because the pain. Sarah then start crying again and says "Thank goodness your ok. I was so worried." He then says "Eh dont worry it'll take more then a little kitty cat to take me out." Then he raises his arm and flexes his muscles. Sarah gives a light chuckle and says in a worried tone "Don't do that again. We should've both ran towards Giauss and Alaric. You didnt have to fight that thing." Clark sighs and says "ok..ok I won't take anymore risks. if there's a big scary monster I'll run away." Sarah then thinks in her mind "liar." She gives him a kiss and walks out the tent to tell Giauss that Clark's awake.
