First Immortal Cultivator's Chosen Descendant

When Sarah walk out of the room Clark got a notification from the AI "Host has survived a near death experience while being weak. Bloodline ability Neverending Life has been aquired early." He hovered over the skill and the AI said "Neverending Life: As long as your soul remains intact you will never die. Your bodies natural regeneration is increased by 20x. If your body is killed it will use all but 1 of your soul power to resurrect you no matter how much you have. Also if your body is killed you will permanently lose 20% of all stats once resurrected." Clark looks at the skill in disbelief and thinks "Wow that old geezer made some pretty overpowered skills. I cant belive he's just handing them too me like this." Clark notices his body healing rapidly and says "wow that ability is no joke. I'll be fully recovered in like 2 hours at this pace."

Giauss walks in the room and gives Clark a quick examination. He astonished by Clark regeneration. He sits there and thinks "Wow this is ridiculous. How is he healing so fast? I mean his cultivation abilities are off the charts maybe its another family technique." He clears his throat then speaks "You seem to be recovering well. You've completely stabilized and should make a full recovery by the looks of it. I told Sarah to start cooking some food your gonna need the energy. With how much you have recovered we will continue in a couple hours." They both nod at each other and Giauss leaves the tent. Clark then here's a new notification.

The AI says " You have received a new message from The Immortal. Would you like to hear it?" Clark then looks puzzled and thinks "I didnt know this implant could recieve messages. Its only supposed to be able to read my skill and power level." Clark then sits there thinking for a bit and finally says "Play me the message." The message start playing and he here's a man's voice. Then suddenly his face popped up "Hi my name is Baihu. As you can guess im your ancestor. The one who gave you this power. If your seeing this message then you've activated the emergency ability ive added to the bloodline. You probably have a lot of questions but first I'll warn you. That ability is not immortality. If your souls is damaged beyond a certain point there's no going back. Also That 20% reduction is absolute and stays you can only regain the ability to repair that when you become an immortal. So if you die 5 times your soul is destroyed. So be careful and dont die. I will also answer 1 question for you. The one you seem to have is why give you my abilities? So I will explain." He pauses for a second.

He then says "The ancestral realm is not what people think. It starts off your cultivation completely over from scratch. There's a whole new set of planes and rules. You are not able to return to these planes of existences once you ascend. The only thing that you keep are your learned skills but that seemed to easy for me. I was just going to give up all my abilities to start completely over and let them fade into obscurity. But I decided to pass them on and let someone else have fun with them. So I searched my whole heritage past, present, and future to find a qualified decendent. you are the first person that I came across that has a strong enough potential to handle my bloodline. So that's why you are getting my abilities. I'll give you one more piece of knowledge. Your ability isnt the immortal cultivation technique. I overwrote your ability temporarily. When you fully understand the cultivation technique. You wont need your system to help you activate it anymore and it will be replaced by your true ability." The message ends there.

Clark then says there contemplating "My true ability? If the cultivation technique is a temporary ability. How powerful is my actual ability then? I need to cultivate more to unlock it." Then Sarah walk back in and tells Clark the food is ready. She sees a puzzled look on his face. So she asks him what happened. He then explained his new ability to her. She said "Wow that is a really good ability but it does seem like a double edged sword. You might wanna take it easy and try not to push it. If it reduces your stats by 20% that means if you die 5 times you loose 100%. What hapoens then?" Clark nods and says "Yeah the immortal specifically warned me about that."

Sarah looks puzzled and said "Woah wait a minute The Immortal. How did you talk to the immortal?" Clark then explains everything about the system and the immortal. She said "Hm.. So if the cultivation technique isn't your true ability. Then what is? It's gotta be powerful because it's still a mythical rank ability." Clark shrugged his shoulders and said "I won't know until I completely understand the cultivation technique. So there's no reason to try and guess before then." Sarah nods and says "Oh it came in here to tell you foods ready. Let's go eat." They go to the table and sit down. They eat and Alaric says "We'll continue in about an hour.
