Flame and Crimson: OC x Ruby (DBXV x RWBY)

Hey guys, I'm back with another chapter! So last chapter left off with a cliffhanger... this chapter will be covering volume 2 episodes 5 and 6. Because of the Elves and saiyans in the story certain events down the line in this story will be different. Concerning the direction of the story, it will branch off after the finale of Volume 3. I will still incorporate mistral and Atlas into the story but.. the flow of events will be different.

All that means is that circumstances surrounding their mission to Haven Academy will be different. As for Pyrrha dying vs not dying.. I have something in mind for that. All I can say is it's an option I haven't seen anyone take yet.

In the empty alley way next to a dumpster with graffiti sprayed on it, Penny reveals her secret to Ruby and Odyn.

Ruby seems confused about what Penny told her, this is evident by the tone in her voice.

"Penny, I-I d-don't understand... what do you mean by you're not a real girl?," Ruby asked confused.

Odyn said nothing, instead nodding for Penny to continue her explanation. Penny nodded back to the dark elf, signaling that she got the go ahead from him.

"Listen Ruby... Most girls are born. I... was made. You're looking at the world's first synthetic being capable of generating an aura.... I'm not real, unlike you and your friend here.," Penny said turning her head to the side sadly.

Ruby then takes Penny's hands in her own and looks her straight in the eyes.

"Penny, of course you're real. You think just because you have nuts and bolts inside of you, instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me and Odyn?," Ruby replied in question.

Penny's confused by how well Ruby's taking this. It's at this point that Odyn decides to speak up.

"Not to repeat what Ruby said, but.. not having flesh and bone inside of you doesn't make you any less of a person than us two (referring to himself and ruby). You're still a person. Looks and makeup alone aren't what define you as a person, it takes more than those superficial things to determine who a person is. At least... that's the way I see it anyways.," Odyn said.

" I don't... um... You two are taking this surprisingly well.," Penny said confused as she leans in close to Ruby's face before backing away and looking at Odyn.

Ruby smiles back at the girl before she speaks again.

"You're not like those things we saw back there. You've got a heart.. and a soul, I can feel it!," Ruby replied tapping her chest before looking at odyn and smiling at him.

"Plus... ever since I met Odyn here, I've learned to look at a person as more than just their outward appearance. (Puts a hand on her chest again) It's what's inside that counts more than anything when it comes to people.," Ruby said sagely.

"Ooohh... oh Ruby, you're the best friend anyone could have! (Grabs Ruby into a hug, shaking her back and forth) Oh! And you too of course, Odyn.," Penny said looking to the dark teenaged elf.

"I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower!," Ruby says with muffled groaning.

Penny releases Ruby, fully returned to her happier persona.

"Oh, he's very sweet! My father's the one that built me! I'm sure you would love him!",Penny said cheerfully.

Ruby raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"He made you all by himself?," Ruby asked puzzled.

"Well almost, he had some help from Mr Ironwood!," Penny replied.

"🤦‍♂️You know, somehow... that doesn't surprise me at all.," Odyn said slapping a hand to his face.

Ruby looked to Odyn in confusion.

"Huh? What do you mean by that, Odyn?," She asked.

"Nothing Ruby. It's just my parents have told me some things about the general is all. I've more or less come to expect things like this from him.,"Odyn said.

"Oh. Anyways, Penny. Since the General helped build you, is that the reason those soldiers were chasing you?," Ruby asked.

Penny nodded.

"Oh, yes. They like to protect me too!,"Penny said cheerfully.

Ruby scoffs at this before saying anything else.

"What, they don't thing you can protect yourself?," Ruby asked scoffing at the notion.

Penny gains a thoughtful expression as she replied to Ruby's question.

"🤔It's not that they don't think I can, they're just not sure I'm ready to yet.," Penny said thoughtful.

"One day, it will be my job to save the world, but I still have a lot left to learn. That's why my father let me come to the Vytal Festival. I want to see what it's like in the rest of the world, and test myself in the Tournament.," Penny said finishing her thought.

"Penny, what are you talking about? Save the world from what? We're in a time of peace!," Ruby replied.

"That's not what Mr Ironwood said..," Penny said confused.

"Ruby, you're deluding yourself if you think it'll stay that way. Conflict always has a way of rearing it's ugly head at the worst of times and when we least expect it to.,"Odyn said.

"I-I suppose so...,"Ruby said.

Odyn then ruffled Ruby's hair as he spoke again.

"Look, all I'm saying as not let your guard down. Expect the unexpected as they say.," Odyn said causing Ruby to smile at him.

"Check down there!," The voice of a soldier said.

Odyn grabs Ruby the two jump into a nearby dumpster.

"Stay here and hide you two!," Penny said.

"Penny, wait! What are you doing? You don't have to go with them! I can- We can help you!," Ruby said concerned.

"I appreciate that Ruby. But I don't want you two to get in trouble, so please just stay out of sight for now.," Penny said.

Ruby nodded solemnly.

"I'll make we stay hidden for a bit.," Odyn said.

"Thank you, Odyn. Look after my friend, I can tell she trusts you. Make sure you two don't tell anyone my secret.," Penny said.

They both nodded.

"We promise, you can count on us Penny.," Ruby said.

Penny then smiled at them briefly before turning around and walking towards the soldiers.

Odyn nodded as he closed the lid to the dumpster temporarily before lifting it so they see what was happening.

"There she is!," Soldier 1 said.

Penny greeted them.

"Sal-u-tations, officers!," Penny said cheerful.

"Why were you running from us? What happened to that other girl and the boy who was with her?," Soldier 1 asked.

What girl? And you said a boy was with her? I've been by myself all day! I haven't seen anyone like that.," Penny said but then hiccups loudly.

"I would ask you to elaborate on that, but we haven't got the time...," Soldier 2 said.

"You shouldn't cause such a scene. You could cause undue panic.," Soldier 1 said.

"Are you okay?," Soldier 2 asked.

"I'm fine. Just a scratch.," Penny replied showing them her hands.

"Penny, your father isn't going to be happy about this.", Soldier 1 said.

"Please, just come with us.," Soldier 2 said.

"Yes, sir!," Penny replied.

They walk away with Penny following them.

Ruby is seen looking on in sadness while Odyn puts a hand on her back to comfort her.

"It'll be alright, Ruby. Penny's a big girl, I'm sure we'll see her again before long.," Odyn said encouraging her.

"Yeah.. you're right.," Ruby said.

Just then, Ruby shrieks as a rat screeches by her feet, causing her to bump into odyn and fall into his arms as the lid on the dumpster closes on top of them.

Ruby opens her eyes to see that she's in Odyn's arms and subsequently blushes embarrassed. Odyn opens the lid and hops put of the dumpster, still carrying Ruby bridal style. He looks at her as he speaks.

"I take it you're not a fan of rats, right?," Odyn asked.

Ruby laughed nervously.

"Heh heh, that obvious huh?," Ruby asked laughing nervously.

"Yeah... I could tell by the way you jumped that you really don't like rodents.," Odyn said.

There was an awkward pause before Ruby spoke again, noticing their position.

"U-Um.. O-Odyn?," Ruby asked with a deep red blush on her face.

"Yeah? What is it?," Odyn asked oblivious.

"Thanks for saving me, but u-um.. c-c-could you maybe p-put me down now?," Ruby said with her face flushed a deep scarlet color.

Odyn looks and notices their position before very quickly setting Ruby down to her feet. He had a very noticeable tinge of scarlet on his cheeks.

"O-oh! I-I'm so sorry, Ruby! I didn't even notice I was still holding you... Please forgive me for that.," Odyn said with a very noticeable blush on his face.

Ruby twiddled with her thumbs and moved her foot slightly in embarrassment as she and Odyn could not even look each other in the eyes right now.

"I-it's f-Fine, you didn't realize what you were d-doing. I uh... don't blame you for not noticing.," Ruby said blushing.

The two were seen looking either to the ground or up at a building, anything to avoid making eye contact with each other right now.

"W-We should check in on the others.," Odyn said still embarrassed.

"Y-yeah l-let's do that.," Ruby said equally as embarrassed.

Timeskip- Elsewhere...

In the ruined parts of Vale, the sound of an engine gets closer and closer until Bumblebee pulls into the street and stops just short of the camera, showing Yang Xiao Long behind the handlebars in her matching helmet.

"Come on, my friend's right in here!," Yang said gesturing with her thumb to the music playing nearby after taking off her helmet.

It's revealed that Roy and Neptune were sitting behind the blonde as she drove the bike. Both also take off their helmets and follow Yang towards a building.

"Cool... ," Neptune said sounding dizzy.

"Mind telling us where here is exactly, Yang?,"Roy asked.

The music from Junior's Club gets louder once inside to show Junior behind the bar adjusting his cuffs as his Henchmen stock the bottles, carry boxes, and otherwise stand around on the dance floor, until...

A henchmen rushes inside in a panic upon seeing who's approaching the bar.

"Hurry, close the door - she's coming!," Henchmen 1 said in fright.

Another Henchmen joins the first as they proceed to quickly roll the doors shut and keep it closed with their bodies. The man known simply as "Junior" is incensed by this, clearly voicing his own opinions about what his men were doing.

"What are you idiots doing?!," Junior asked incensed.

The Henchmen shout incoherently until an explosion knocks them to the ground and forces the doors open, allowing a familiar face to walk in through the smoke as "I Burn" starts playing.

"Guess who's back! I can see you guys missed me!," Yang said from the doorway.

Yang continues to smile and pose as eight guns are pointed in her face with an equal number of angry Henchmen behind them. Though this doesn't faze her, she stops and glares at the recording studio where the track is messing up until the frightened bear-headed DJ takes the needle off the record and retreats back under the table.

Neptune appears behind Yang as the angry Henchmen continue to point their guns at her.

"Yeah... so could you define friend for me?,"Neptune asks.

"😅 When you said friend, this... wasn't exactly what I had in mind Yang.," Roy said sweatdropping.

Junior came running to the front the group.

"Stop, stop! Nobody shoot. Blondie, you're here! .... why?," He said surprised.

Yang grabs him by the collar and drags him through the crowd of Henchmen and into the bar.

"Because you still owe me a drink!," Yang said dragging him through the crowd of guns pointed at her.

"Whoa-ho-ho-ho, what a woman...", Neptune said lovestruck.

Roy sighed in annoyance.

"Neptune, right?," Roy asked.

"Yeah, that's me.," The blue haired teen replied.

"I'll be frank. You realize she's not interested in you in the slightest, right?," Roy pointed out.

"Your point?,"Neptune asked.

"You should... give up on her. Find some other girl to chase since you like chasing girls so much. Yang's.... abit of an... odd one.," Roy suggested.

Neptune smirked at the elf.

"Yeah.. kinda already knew that, thought it was worth a try though. Incidentally, she seems oddly infatuated with you though. Mind telling me your secret?," Neptune replied.

"😅😅 Please... don't remind me. I still don't know what goes through that head of hers.," Roy said sweatdropping as he walked towards where Yang went.

Neptune chuckles and shrugs at this.

"That's something a guy lucky enough to grab Yang's attention would say.," Neptune said shrugging.

He turns to see the malachite twins next to him.

"Sup?," He says.

They both harrumph, uninterested in the blue haired teen.

"Whatever.," They both say walking away with their noses in the air.

Neptune scratches the back of his head after the interaction. Just seemed like he didn't have any luck with women, not that he was actually trying to either.

With Blake and Sun....

Blake's fingers trace three scratch marks on a wall before peeking around its corner and seeing a pair of horned Faunus as they are ushered into a building by a bearded man. She turns to Sun next to her. Baron and Flare are up on a roof of a nearby building as backup in case things went south.

"This is it.," Blake says gesturing to the abandoned building they were walking up to.

"Uh, you sure?," Sun asked unsure.

Blake gives him a hard look as she unfastened her bow and continued walking forward.

"Ya know what, I'm just gonna take your word for it.," Sun said putting up his hands defensively.

The two walk inside the building to a hallway filled with cases, seeing another man announcing "New recruits, keep to the right!" at the young pair as they follow.

Baron sees their friends enter the building and closes his eyes in order to contact his Elf comrades.

"Alright, our two faunus have entered the building. Standing by.," Baron said through the telepathic link he had.

"Good. Keep watch, just in case something comes up.," Khanna's voice said on the other end.

"Got it, will do!," Baron said telepathically.

The scene switches back to Sun and Blake.

"I don't get it. If you believe what you're doing is right, why hide who you are?," Sun question while holding out the half mask in his hand.

"The masks are a symbol. Humanity wanted to make monsters out of us, so we chose to don the faces of monsters.," Blake responded.

"Egh.. Grimm masks? That's uh.. more than a little dark.," Sun said slightly grimacing at the thought.

"So was the guy who started it.," Blake replied curtly before putting on the Grimm mask and moving forward.

Sun sighs and briefly shrugs.

"It's always Sunshine and Rainbows with you..,"Sun said shrugging before following her lead.

The new recruits to the White Fang are moving in a line to the side of the stage, a mere few dozen compared to the hundreds of white-vested, black-hooded soldiers to their left and up above in the balconies. Blake and Sun look around themselves when they stop, and a fully-masked man with tattoos standing starts speaking before the large sheet emblazoned with the bloody wolf and claw marks.

"Thank you all for coming. For those of you who are joining us for the first time tonight, allow me to introduce a very special comrade of ours! I can assure you, he is the key to obtaining what we have fought for for so long!,"The white fang lieutenant announced.

dark pants and brown shoes step forward before the orange tip of a rather familiar cane taps onto the stage. The camera pans up to reveal none other than Roman, smiling confidently even as the crowd starts protesting. Blake grits her teeth and balls her hand into a fist at seeing who it was.

But she also knew that acting rashly without knowing everything about the situation wasn't a good plan either. She'd just have to grin and bear it for now. At least... until she knew more about the situation first.

"Thank you, thank you! Please, hold your applause!," The crook said waving mockingly.

As he speaks Neopolitan (Neo) comes out from behind the sheet that was on stage.

"What's a human doing here?!," A faunus with antlers seated in front of Sun and Blake shouted in protest.

"I'm glad you asked, "Deerie"! Now, I'll be the first to admit, humans... are the worst. (Salutes as a demonstration) Case in point. So, I understand why you would like to see us all locked away, or, better yet, killed!," Roman said before continuing.

Sun.leans over to Blake and whispers to her.

"So uh... he going somewhere with this or what?," Sun whispered in question.

Blake shrugged unsure.

"But, before the claws come out, I'd like to mention the fact that you and I all have a common enemy: the ones in control, the people pulling the strings, the dirty, rotten humans that run our kingdoms!," Roman pointed out as the crowd then starts agreeing with him.

"Government, military, even the schools: they're all to blame for your lot in life!," He continued allowing the crowd to cheer as Blake and Sun shared a look of concern.

"And they're all pests that need to be dealt with! Fortunately, I'm the best exterminator around... No offense to any rodents in the room.," Roman said.

With a snap of his fingers, the curtain falls, and the whole mass of Faunus applaud at the sight of the Atlesian Paladin-290 behind it, the mark of the White Fang painted on its shoulder.

"As some of you may have heard, this right here... (Taps the giant mech) ...is Atlas' newest defense against all the scary things in the world. And thanks to my "employer", we've managed to snag a few before they, uh, "hit the shelves". Now, many of your brothers have already moved down to our new operation in the southeast. If you'd rather stay within the city, that's fine... But if you're truly ready to fight for what you believe in, this is the arsenal I can provide you. Any questions?," Roman finished.

The roaring of the White Fang gives him his answer.

This was... not good. Blake and Sun both needed to get out of there and quickly.

"We... need to get out of here.," Blake said gravely.

Sun nodded, not needing to be told twice.

"I agree. But how?," Sun replied.

The White Fang Lieutenant then spoke.

"Will all new recruits, please come forward!," The White Fang lieutenant said.

The two heroes looked to escape but were being pushed by the eager crowd of potential White Fang recruits, blocking off their escape and trapping them in a sea of enthusiastic faunus.

"Welp! What now?," Sun asked.

"I'll think of something.," Blake said.

Elsewhere in Vale...

Khanna and Hailfire were seen coming out of a shop as they thanked the shop owner. They weren't having much luck finding any leads on the White Fang unfortunately.

Khanna looked to Hailfire.

"Any Luck?," Khanna asked.

Hailfire shook her head.

"Nodda. How 'bout on your end?," Hailfire asked.

Khanna shook her head.

"Nuh uh, nothing definite. Only clues I got were some vague ones with no detail at all to them.," Khanna replied.

"Ugh, great! So we're back to square one I suppose.," Hailfire said frustrated.

"Certainly looks that way.,"Khanna replied as they walked down the sidewalk.

In the time Hailfire and Khanna had spent together, the two had gotten to know each other fairly well even forming a growing friendship. They were good friends, not quite besties, but they'd become very good friends over the year they'd spent as schoolmates.

"Ugh... I'm beginning to think maybe I should have gone with one of the other groups.. based on our luck so far. Then again...," Hailfire said thinking about it.

Khanna nodded already guessing what Hail was thinking.

"Uh, yeah... two's a company and three's a crowd.," Khanna said.

"Exactly! Being a third wheel in one of those other groups would be so.... awkward. Honestly, I'm a little jealous of Ruby, Yang, and Weiss. They're all with really handsome young men that could end up becoming their spouses some day..," Hailfire said.

Khanna put a comforting hand on Hailfire's shoulder.

"Not to worry Hail, I'm sure you'll meet your destined one some time soon. You just need to be patient.," Khanna said.

Hailfire smiled at Khanna, grateful for her words of encouragement.

"Thanks Khanna, but... I'm not in any hurry for that. It's more of food for thought at this point.," Hailfire said laughing.

As they continued to walk, Hailfire noticed someone rather... unexpected.

"Hey Khanna?," Hailfire asked curious.

"Yeah, what's up Hail?," Khanna asked.

Hailfire pointed to a boy with familiar Spiked silver hair. It was... Mercury? What was he doing here?

"Isn't that... your friend over there?," Hailfire asked curious and also puzzled at the same time.

Khanna looked and it was indeed Mercury, but.. what in Remnant was he doing here?

"Merc? Wha- or rather why is he here?," Khanna asked aloud.

"Do... you want me to find out?," Hailfire asked.

Khanna shook her head.

"No, it's fine. I'll.. be right back. Just holler if something comes up, okay?," Khanna said.

Hailfire nodded.

"Sure thing. Take your time, Khanna. You probably have alot of things you wish to say to him.," Hailfire said in understanding.

Khanna then walked over and called out to the silver haired teen.

"Merc?," She asked.

The boy turned and saw Khanna.

"O-Oh, K-Khanna nice to see you again.," Mercury said.

"Fancy seeing you here. What are you doing in Vale at this time of night?," Khanna asked.

He rubbed the back of his head as he looked toward the black haired girl.

"Just out for a walk to clear my mind. Do you... have time to talk by chance?," He asked.

Khanna looked at him for a moment, she knew something was up.

"Something's bothering you, isn't it?," She asked.

He sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, you could say that.," He replied.

Khanna then turned to Hailfire.

She understood.

"No worries, I'll cover for you Khanna.," Hailfire said.

"Actually, it's better if yiur friend hears this too.," Mercury said.

"Hail, Merc said you should hear what he has to say as well. Said it's important.," Khanna told her friend.

"Oh. Alright then.," Hailfire came over to them as they started walking down the street.

Back with Yang....

Roy had made it into the club and was sitting next Yang as she interrogated Junior. He was just waiting on Yang to be done.

Junior puts down his glass as he sits behind the bar separating him from his interrogator.

"I don't know!," Junior said.

This confused Yang, but made her mad too.

"How could you possibly not know?," Yang asked frustrated.

" I haven't talked to him! I haven't even seen him since the night you first came in here. (Points his finger at Yang's face) He paid up front, I lent him my men, and none of them ever. Came. Back.,"Junior said.

Neptune rushed up to Yang's side to pose a question of his own before he's shoved aside by Roy, not caring for the blue haired teen's flirting nature.

"So where'd they go?," Neptune asked.

Roy shoves him aside.

"Ok, enough Playboy she ain't interested.," Roy said using his hand to push Neptune away from the blonde.

This guy must have forgotten that Yang just was not interested in him, something he'd make sure the teen was aware of.

"What kind of a stupid question is that? They never came back! And who are these guys?," Junior said to Yang.

"Yang, maybe you should- Ugh, nevermind. Do what you want, you know I can't stop you once you're like this.," Roy tried warning Yang before just relenting and letting her vent her frustration.

The blonde smirked at the dark elf.

"😏 Thanks, good lookin~ This will only take a minute, you might even get a little reward later~💕," Yang said obviously flirting with the dark elf.

"😅 R-Right...," Roy sweatdropped nervously.

He still didn't know how to respond to Yang's "advances" on him because he'd never received that kind of female attention before. Yang was certainly... a unique case in that regard. He'd always been pretty popular among the ladies, but no one ever made moves on him because they were too shy. Until.. Yang that is.

Yang turned back to Junior.

"Don't worry about them; worry about me if I don't find out what I want!," Yang said pending her fist on the counter top as she spoke.

Junior was sweating, but he stood his ground.

"I already told you everything! Torchwick hired my boys, and I guess he wasn't happy with them, which is something I can relate to!," He said glaring at his Henchmen who grumble before walking away in response to this.

Yang sighed, knowing that they weren't going to get any more useful info out of Junior. At least they got something, even if it wasn't what they wanted.

"Roy, Neptune, let's go.," Yang said turning and walking towards the door they came in.

"Did we get everything we needed?," Neptune asked following with hands in his pockets.

"We got what can from here, though it's not everything we came for.," Yang replied sighing discontented.

"At least we got something though, right?," Roy said trying to stay positive.

"Yeah... I guess so. Hopefully the rest of the group is having better luck than we are.," Yang said.

All they could do now was to wait on the others.

With Mercury, Khanna, and Hailfire...

The trio continued walking as they searched for leads on the White Fang. Khanna finally spoke up to break the awkward silence between them.

"So, Merc... what is it you wanted to talk to me about?," Khanna asked.

"Oh, that. Well.... it's about what you said a few days ago.," Mercury said.

*brief flashback*

"You've been having second thoughts, second guessing, what Cinder's been having you do. Haven't you?"(Khanna)

"Y-yeah, I have.," (Mercury)

"Good. Hold onto that feeling then.." (Khanna)

*end flashback*

"Ah, that. So... do you have an answer?," Khanna asked.

"K-Kinda. I think.. no I probably knew deep down that what I've been doing for Cinder is wrong.," Mercury said.

Khanna's eyes softened. She was glad her childhood friend realized that something was up with Cinder. Even if he didn't quite remember her or the promise they made as kids, at least he was starting to think for himself.

She put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him. This would assure Mercury that his friend would be there for him... even if he didn't quite remember her.

"It's okay Merc, at least you know she's up to no good. As for how you can get out of the situation you're in... I believe I may have an idea.," Khanna said.

Mercury raised an eyebrow at this in question.

"Really? How or.. what do I do to get away from Cinder?," Mercury asked.

Khanna looked to Hailfire, who nodded. The auburn haired Elven sword maiden then spoke.

"Stay working with Cinder and Emerald... for now, just so they won't get suspicious. You know what you have to to do eventually, Mercury. Wait until Conder puts whatever plan of hers into motion, then make your move.," Hailfire suggested.

"We'll help you from the shadows, Merc. All that simply means is.. we can help you from a distance. Once our other fellow Dark Elves know of yiur intentions, they'll do everything they can to help you. But... you know we elves have a saying that goes a little like this: "Decieve your enemies first to get the message to your allies." Of course some would say you have to trick your friends first in order to really trick your enemies, but We Elves don't believe in such a roundabout way of doing things. We'd rather deceive our enemies and make our intentions made plain to our allies.," Khanna explained.

"I-I see. So.. I have to t-trick Cinder and Emerald, make it seem to them as if I'm on their side before revealing my true intentions just when her plan is about to come to fruition. Is that correct?," Mercury asked.

Hailfire and Khanna nodded before the black haired dark elf put her hand on the boy's shoulder.

"We'll need you to make it look believable. That said, I don't like keeping things from the others whom I've grown to trust. Even though... they are mere humans.," Khanna said.

Mercury raised his eyebrow at this in confusion. He was rather curious as to what Khanna meant by that, it felt like he should know but... the reason was escaping him. It felt like... he would almost remember and then... nothing. Almost as if something was actively preventing him from remembering that particular memory of his.

Khanna knew what he was thinking and her eyes softened as she looked at him.

"Don't worry Merc, it'll come to you... someday soon.," Khanna said.

"Y-yeah... I just... I wish I could remember you, but it's like something... or someone doesn't want me to.," Mercury said a little disheartened.

Khanna cupped her hands around his face and brought her head to meet his as she spoke to encourage him.

"I-I know you don't remember right now. You will, one day. I'll do whatever I can to help you get your memory back, okay Merc?," She said.

Mercury could feel his heart beating faster for a moment before he nodded and feeling Khanna pull away from him.

"Y-yeah, it's a promise then.," He said briefly stammering in embarrassment.

Hailfire then spoke, gaining their attention.

"Alright you two... as touching as your reunion is, let's focus on getting leads to help our friends first.," Hailfire said.

They nodded and followed after the auburn haired Elven shield Maiden.

Just as they were about to walk further, a new voice spoke to them.

"Excuse me Lads and Lasses, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation on getting a lead just now. What might you need a lead on?," an elderly man asked.

They turned and gave each other a look before nodding. Hailfire then stepped forward and told him.

"Well sir.. it's like this..," Hailfire started.

Back with Blake and Sun...

The White Fang are still loudly cheering as recruits are marched to the stage, Blake and Sun having no choice but to follow due to being trapped by the lone surging forward.

" What are we going to do now?!," Sun whispered to Blake.

"I'm thinking...," Blake said before a voice appeared in her mind.

Blake felt her ears raise straight up as she recognized the voice, it was Baron!

"Blake, we're ready! Flare's about to give you and Sun an opening to escape.," Baron said in Blake's mind telepathically.

"What the- Baron? Oh, right. Thanks!," Blake said in her mind.

She then turned to Sun and whispered to him.

"Flare and Baron are about to give us an opening, so be ready!," She whispered to him.

"Oh, cool.," Sun whispered back.

Sun watches Roman lean on the robot smoking his cigar and laughing with the girl beside him before he zeroes in on the two, frowning. Not good.

"Umm... Blake?," Sun asked nervously.

She turned to him, annoyed.

"What?," She asked silently irritated.

"It's nothing really, but uhh... he sees us.," Sun said sweating.

Blake notices the junction box.

"Not in the dark, he can't!," She whispered back.

Before she could act though, a projectile sped in from the roof and struck the aforementioned box, effectively blacking out the power in the building. It would provide them just enough time to get away.

"Come on!," Blake said.

"Right!," Sun replied not needing to be told twice and following her.

"Don't let them get away!," Roman shouted.

They ran and Blake was about to shout for Sun to break the window when what looked like an invisible colored slash shattered the window instead. This was most likely Baron doing. The two heroes took the opportunity to jump through the shattered windows and begin their escape.

Just as they leap through the destroyed windows, the mechanized sound of running power signals the Altesian Paladin's activation, and it crashes through the wall of the building in pursuit of the runaways, who leap off of a car and manage to get on the roofs. The Paladin follows beside them on the street as Blake and Sun run, jump, and flip from rooftop to rooftop.

This was just before Baron and Flare join them in running from the mechanized giant. Sun turned towards the two with a question.

"Glad to see you guys, but uhh... You two wouldn't happen to have.. I don't know... some form of backup?!," Sun asked panicked.

Blake speaks up answering their question.

"Not to worry Sun, I'm on it.," Blake said grabbing her scroll and putting it to her ear as the four teens continued to jump.

Elsewhere....

Weiss and Daikon are seen leaving the Cross Continental Transmit tower's elevator when the shcnee heiress grabs her Scroll and listens to Blake's message.

"Everyone! If you can hear me, we need back-," Blake started before being interrupted by Sun screaming in the background.

"HEEEELLLLP!," Sun screamed in terror in the background of the scroll call.

Weiss rolls her eyes and starts running out the door, a little smile on her face as she does so. Daikon sees this and smirks at her.

"Hooohh? Was that a smile I saw, Princess?," Daikon asked.

"💢 Shut up, this isn't the time for that!," Weiss said annoyed.

Daikon shrugged as he smirked at the heiress.

"Whatever you say, princess.," Daikon said.

"We're going to have a serious discussion about that nickname later on.," Weiss said as the two began running towards the location Blake sent on her scroll.

With Ruby and Odyn...

Ruby and Odyn are beside the dumpster, which is now boarded up (no thanks to Ruby lol 😆) to possibly keep the rat trapped.

Odyn and Ruby look at the girl's scroll, then at each other.

" Big robot! And it's big! Really big!," Sun said from the scroll call.

Ruby pumps her fist at this.

"I'm so not missing this!," Ruby said excited.

"Because it's a giant robot, right?," Odyn asked.

"Odyn, how did you-?," Ruby began to ask before Odyn answered her question.

He chuckled and tussled her hair as he smiled at her.

"You're fairly easy to read, little rose. You don't want to miss out on the action, especially since it's a giant robot and you've read all kinds of stories about heroes fighting against robots before. Or am I wrong?," Odyn replied.

"N-No you're not. But.. 😅 do i... really sound like that?," Ruby responded sweatdropping.

Odyn gave Ruby a dry look to which she understood.

"Ok, point taken. Heh heh.," Ruby laughing and rubbing the back of her head nervously.

The two then ran off quickly towards the fight to help out their friends.

Back with Yang, Neptune, and Roy...

Yang is back on the motorcycle in her helmet and sunglasses with Neptune looking at the Scroll in her hand over her shoulder and Roy keeping an eye out for anything near them as he sat behind the blonde. He peeked over at the screen that Neptune was watching.

"That Torchwick guy is in it! But not, like, it didn't eat him; he's, like, controlling it or something!," Sun said on the scroll call.

"Where are you guys?," Yang asked also briefly looking at her own scroll.

Right on cue, behind them, Blake and Sun are seen running from the Paladin with Baron and Flare following from the sides of them. The Paladin was hit on their heels as they all disappeared from view.

Roy just sweatdropped at this.

"😅 Gonna take a wild guess and say that was them.,"Roy said sweatdropping.

"HURRYYYY!!!", Sun said both in person and on the scroll.

"... well that was certainly one way of letting us know where they are.," Neptune said sweatdropping and nervously laughing.

"Yeah, I got it. Hang on you two!," Yang said putting her scroll away and circles her ride around to follow much to Neptune's alarm.

Roy was ready and adjusted for the sudden movement, while Neptune clearly wasn't ready for movement of that kind as the bike sped off in pursuit of the Paladin.

Roy put his hand on Yang's shoulder as they sped towards the robot, she looked back to him.

"I'm going to share a bit of my magic power with you, Yang. I've got a feeling you may need it.," He said just before chanting something in Elvish.

She smirked at him.

"Remind me to thank you in kind later, handsome~," Yang whispered to him seductively.

Roy involuntarily blushed at the last part before responding. Seriously, he didn't know how to respond to Yang's.. "advances" towards him because he'd never had that kind of female attention before.

"R-Right...," He said blushing slightly and briefly looking away to hide his embarrassed face.

Meanwhile...

The old man continued his story.

"Hm? The White Fang, eh? I can't say if it was them or not but... there was a large contingent of real shady looking people that were meeting in an abandoned factory not far from here. And... they only ever meet at night. Awfully suspicious if you ask me.," The man said.

They looked at each other and nodded.

"No, thank you sir! This helps us more than you know.," Khanna said.

"We can help out our friends this way.," Hailfire added.

The elderly man smiled.

"No problem. You kids be careful. Wouldn't want anything to happen to you young folk.," The man said.

They bowed briefly in gratitude as they left to head towards the lead they had received. As they were on their way, Hailfire felt her scroll vibrate in her pocket. She stopped the group and took out her scroll to see what it was. What she saw was Blake, Sun, Flare, and Baron all running from a giant robot.

"SOMEONE, ANYONE, SEND HEEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP, PLEEEEEAAASSSSEEEE!!!!!," Sun shouted through the scroll call.

"Change in plans, we have to go help them now!," Khanna said.

The other two teens nodded and followed her. Although Mercury would come with them, he'd be sure to stay out of Roman's sight. This was so the crook wouldn't recognize him. Khanna looked to her friend and smiled in understanding.

"I understand Merc, just help us out from the shadows if you can. Here!," Khanna said before tossing him a weapon.

He caught it, but was confused as to what it was.

"What's this?," He asked confused.

"It's a bolting bow. This way you can still help us out without Roman spotting you.," Khanna told him.

"Ok. Thanks for this, Khanna.," Mercury said.

She nodded before hailfire looked at her friend.

"You're not going to tell him who you are?,"Hailfire asked.

Khanna shook her head.

"Uh uh. I can't force him to remember me or... the promise we made to each other as kids. Besides, I-I'd rather him remember on his own...," Khanna said shaking her head before continuing.

"I-If he needs to take his time to remember I'm fine with him doing so... that said... (blushes slightly) I-It doesn't c-change how I feel about Merc. Even if... he doesn't remember me.," Khanna admitted to Hailfire.

This caused Hailfire to smile at her friend. Despite her exterior, Khanna was just like any other normal girl... a girl who was in love with her childhood friend, even if that friend didn't realize.

"So even after all this time has passed... and even if he doesn't remember that promise, you still love him, don't you Khanna?," Hailfire internally thought with a smile.

If Mercury ever regained his memories of that promise himself and Khanna made as children, Hailfire had a feeling it would be very emotional for her friend. Having a growing crush on your friend since childhood and being separated only to find them a decade later? She couldn't think of something more emotional than that at the moment. It had to be really hard having to bury her feelings for the boy when he didn't have any memory of her.

She shook her head, they could think on that later. Right now, they had to go help their friends.

Back with Blake, Sun, Baron, and Flare...

The four teens somehow make it to the highways, Blake and Sun running while Baron and Flare provided cover fire for them.

The stray bullets from either direction was just enough of a distraction to keep the Paladin from catching Blake and Sun. The two continued their escape by hopping on cars while the Paladin follows them by pushing vehicles out of the way. Sun pauses to look at their pursuer's path of destruction and offer a quick "Whoa!" before leaping onto more cars, much to the anger of Roman inside the robot, his face surrounded by blue holographic screens.

"Tch! They're slippery, I'll give them that much!," Roman said grinding his teeth as he continued to chase them in the Paladin.

Yang is following the robot, coming up next to it as she and her passengers pursued the mech. Roy then stands up to Yang's confusion and astonishment, unsheathing his blade.

"I'm going to need you to speed up Yang! I need to get a bit closer to that thing!," Roy said.

Yang nodded and increased the speed of the bike. Their ride came up next to it as Roy then leapt off the bike and landed on the roof of the mech suit.

"I can't have you, a crook, catching my friends Torchwick. I'm gonna have to slow you down!," He said with lightning channeling through his sword.

Roy then quickly circled around back of the mech and stabbed his blade into one of the spare propelling systems.

"Lightning Magic: Torrential Fissure!,"Roy shouted before quickly leaping away from the mech after placing a strong kick to the front.

He then sheathed his blade, back flipping before landing feet first on the motorcycle seat behind Yang. As they sped past it, the mech briefly seized up, due to the electrical torrent going through it and frying some of its sensors.

Yang said nothing, just giving him a look after he landed behind her.

"Heh heh, a little too much 😅 huh?," Roy asked sweatdropping and laughing nervously.

"You are.. the craziest guy I've ever met, and I love it!," Yang said excited.

"😅 ooo... kay? Totally not what I expected there.," Roy said puzzled at Yang's reaction.

They looked and the mech was gaining on them again.

"Don't think that slowed it down enough!," Neptune said.

"Hmm... OK. Why don't we both go at it then?," Roy suggested as he unsheathed his blade again lightning emanating from it.

Neptune nodded.

Roy leapt of the bike, opting to charge at it on foot from the ground. Neptune reaches for his gun, but Roman notices the pair on his sensors and crashes into a multitude of cars with the Paladin's strong bulk, sending them flying towards his chasers.

"Oh, no you don't! Lightning Magic: Gale Force Stream!," Roy cried as he swung his blade. The Cars heading for Neptune and Yang froze in mid air before bouncing off of an invisible wall of lightning.

Neptune unslings his weapon, aims as sparks start flying, and fires several bolts of blue electricity at the Paladin, causing Roman to grimace from the force of the attacks. Roy then comes in from the side, switching elements with the dust compartment on his sword.

"Change mode: Water force... Battering Rain Swallow!," Roy cried as what looked like hundreds of blades came forth from his single stab.

This puts chips into the armor of the mech before Roy trapped it with another move.

"Water force: Willowing Whirlpool!," Roy cried swinging his sword in a circular motion.

This effectively trapped the mech while Neptune made his move. Neptune flips the gun and it grows a shaft and an energy blade at the end, then jumps from Yang's bike as the spear's head splits in three and drives it into the top of the Paladin. Sun and Blake pause in their car-hopping to look back.

"Neptune, hang on!," Sun shouted in concern.

Neptune is trying his best, but the mech keeps bucking and threatens to make him fall. Closing his eyes, Sun smashes his palms together, and from the golden Aura around him, his Semblance creates two glowing outlines that copy their creator, leaping off and going back over the tops of vehicles to collide into the Paladin's front. They explode into blinding light upon contact to let Sun leap forward with Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang held high, but Roman finally turns enough to send Neptune flying off and knocking into his leader, sending both of them off the highway.

Roy grits his teeth in frustration upon seeing Sun and Neptune knocked off of the highway. Refocusing he charges towards the mech, but only to backup Yang and her friends. Blake hears avoicr on her scroll, alerting her that her friends had made it to their position.

"Blake, I'm in position!," Weiss said on the scroll.

She's seen approaching Roman, with Daikon providing an opening with a smokescreen, courtesy of his ki blasts. The saiyan briefly leaps into the air before cupping his hands underneath him and providing a footstool for Weiss as she sped towards Roman in the mech.

"Need a boost, princess?," He asked smirking.

Weiss smirked back.

"Only if you provide it.," She said smirking back at him.

"With pleasure, Princess.," He said.

Daikon ignited his ki as Weiss leapt into the air and off of his hands as he provided her a boost in her speed. Roman smiled as he charged at the girl in his mech suit, only to have Weiss spin and plunge her rapier's blade into the ground. It summoned a circle of Ice that Roman wasn't expecting, causing the mech to lose its balance as it slipped and crashed. The robot flew over the young Huntress and fell off of the highway ramp before falling down further below.

It landed just as Ruby and Odyn arrived onto the scene.  Ruby hd her weapon deployed in scythe mode , while Odyn unsheathed his own blade from his back. He looks to her as the rest of team Rwby falls in beside their leader.

"Myself and my team will cover your blind spots, you all focus on taking down this overgrown blob of scrapmetal.," Odyn said.

Ruby nodded, appreciative of Odyn and his team for their help. The dark elf jumped back, making sure to cover Ruby's backside.

Roman chuckled as he brought his Robot closer to the girls.

"Freezer Burn!," Ruby called out.

Just before Yang and  Weiss went into attack, Roy trapped the mech to hold it in place by stabbing his blade into the pavement.

"I dont think so! Azure Void!," Roy said as the dust chamber similar to a revolver spun on his blade.

A large blue magic circle trapped the mech as the girls moved in to attack.

Weiss performs the same icicle trick she used a few minutes ago, but then backs out of Yang's way as the blonde then smashed the epicenter of the glyph with her Ember Celica. This created an expanding wave of mist that surrounded Roman, immediately clouding his vision. The crook activated the paladin's laser sensors in an attempt to pinpoint where his attackers would be coming from next. It barely sees the after image of Blake and narrowly missed a dashing Yang. One of the Paladin's guns manages to fire at the area between  Blake and Yang, only for another projectile to hit the foot of the mech causing it to stumble back. It was revealed to be an arrow with lightning coming off of it. Fortunately, this gave Ruby the opprtunity to suddenly zip out from the smoke and slash off the gun with her scythe. This caused the mech to falter abit more.

"Checkmate!," Ruby then called.

Blake and Weiss prepare to go into attack this time, just as they're about to, the Paladin gets up again. Khanna and Hailfire come charging in and stun it with their war hammer and shield. While Khanna bashed its feet to the ground, Hailfire rammed it with her shield to disorient it.

"All yours, Blake! Weiss!," Khanna called as she and Hailfire jumped back.

Nodding, the two girls go in, each of the girls going for the robot's feet until Weiss leaps up and stabbed a sensor before she leapt off of a white glyph she made. Roman then lifts the Paladin's foot to crush the cat faunus, only for Odyn to rush in and catch it. The Dark Elf held its foot, giving the girl's an opening.

"Now's your chance!," Odyn said.

Roman growled at this and began firing missiles, angry his plan had failed. Roy saw this and glared before unsheathing his blade to cut down the missiles.

"No you don't! Flame Eclipse!," Roy cried before the chamber in his sword spun as he sliced the missiles heading for his friends and older brother.

Weiss jumps a little too high this time, and Roman fires a double beamed blast at her. The heiress sticks out Myrtenaster and it absorbs the damage. She's thrown back by the power behind the attack, so she cast the beam of light from her own weapon and into the ground underneath Blake. A golden yellow clocklike circle is then absorbed into the faunus girl, allowing her to slash through the extra oncoming missiles with relative ease in a series of high speed slashes.

"Ladybug!," Ruby calls this time before going into the fray herself.

Odyn jumps back so he can backup Ruby, before the silver eyed girl and Blake charge forward. Ruby cuts at the bot's legs before turning and letting Blake take her aim at the mech's legs as well. Both girls then are seen dashing forward as they coordinate their attacks  while circling around the Paladin with each strike they land before launching themselves into the air and coming down onto the shoulder afterwards, severing the left arm completely.

Yang doesn't waste a second upon seeing this opening, leaping onto the paladin's back and unleashing flaming shotgun blasts from her gauntlets. Roman is seen being bounced around in cabin of the mech, growling in frustration afterwards. The crook sees that he can't reach the blonde brawler with his remianing arm on the mech , so he decides to backup through two cement columns before leaving her embeddeed into a third one. He backs away and turns towards her. As Yang is falling to the ground, Roman swings his arm towards her to punch. Yang is hit with the mech's closed fist as she flies through the pillar before crashing to the ground, not getting up. Blake is worried before she and the remaining teens look at Roy. Big mistake, Roman had made him mad with that stunt. Now he just wanted to pulverize this overgrown scrapheap. Roy allowed his hands to spread into a clawing shape as he activated his magic.

"You're really... annoying. Lightning Magic: Dragon's.... Vambrace!!!," Roy cried angred as he rocketed towards the Mech.

At the same time, Yang got up, pupils now red with her power blazing around her.

"That's it!," Yang said as she sped towards the mech also.

"Yang!,"Blake called worried.

Khanna smirked.

"Ah, i wouldn't worry Blake. I think that oversized piece of scrapmetal is about to get fried.

Blake looked confused. Before she could really say much, Daikon briefly sped up and shoulder bashed the bot before giving way to the elves. Khanna and Hailfire also joined in. Hailfire stabbed at the mained body for ramming into with her shield, while Khanna slammed her hammer into the underside sending it skyward before sommersaulting and slamming her weapon into the head. Odyn then used his light magic to disorient it, following it up with cleaving the mech's remaining arm with his golden and blue sword. Baron, Flare, and a hidden Mercury then peppered the mech with supporting fire from their ranged weapons, further staggering it. Odyn then had the other clear out as Roy and Yang both approached the robot.

"THIS ENDS NOW!!!," both Roy and Yang said.

Yand slammed her fist into the head, while Roy slammed his magically infused fists into the main body. Due to the power behind both of their blows, the mech cracked and shattered soon after the explosion of fire and lightning littered the spot where the Paladin once stood. Roman then tumbled to the ground after the robot shattered into hundreds of pieces, he was completely and utterly defeated. The criminal was dazed, but very much unharmed as he brushed himself off an inspected the damage.

"Aaannd I just got this thing cleaned too..," Roman said before meeting the burning eyes of Roy with a sword pointed in his face.

"We have... lots of questions. Don't even think you can weasel your way out of this one, crook.," Hailfire said as she glared at him.

Yang then punches, sending a fiery shot towards the defenseless thief. The crime boss is unfortunately saved at the last moment by a girl with two toned hair with an umbrella. Baron and Flare, whoare with the teens now also see the girl. Odyn scowls a the girl as a flame like clear aura burst to life around him. The new girl hangs her weapon over her shoulder as Roman addresses the victors.

"Well now, this has been fun but... i really should be going now. Ladies.., Elves..., sir, Ice Queen...,"Roman said as he trailed off.

"Hey!," Weiss said offended.

Daikon snickered at this.

"Always a pleasure! Neo, if you would...," Roman said.

"We're not done here, crook!," Hailfire said as she, Odyn, Roy, and Yang all went to hit Roman only for them to shatter like glass and disappear.

This caused the teens to grit their teeth in frustration, they let him get away... again.

A bullhead was seen taking off as Odyn expressed his frustration at the crime boss escaping.

"Tch, he got away.. again!," Odyn said slightly annoyed.

The other teens run to the trio of teens side as they are now cooled down after the end of the fight.

"So.... Guess he got a new Henchmen?," Yang said.

"Yeah... looks like she really made our plans... fall apart!," Weiss said.

The elves just gave her a dry look that said "Really, Weiss?"

Roy whispers to her.

"Should I tell her, or...," Roy whispered in question.

Yang smiled before sighing.

"Nah, don't worry about it hot stuff~ I'll.. tell her, Weiss is my teammate after all.," Yang replied.

"R-Right...," Roy said sweatdropping.

Ruby is seen giggling while Odyn slaps his hand to his forehead and the pther teens begin walking away.

"No... just no.," Yang said dryly.

Weiss starts getting mad now.

"What- But you do it!," Weiss said upset.

"There's a time and a place for jokes.," Yang responded.

"Was this not it?," Weiss asked.

Yang shook her head.

"No, it.. just wasn't very good.," Yang said following Blake and the others.

"Well at least i'm trying!," she said huffing.

Daikon snickered at this, drawing Weiss's ire.

"Keep at it princess, one of these days the blonde will appreciate your jokes.," the saiyan said chuckling.

"I don't want to hear that from you!,"Weiss snapped.

Daikon chuckled and shrugged before following the heiress. As the group continued walking, Odyn spotted someone familiar. It was a young Dark Elven man in crimson armor.

"What the-? Valvehdern, what are you doing here?," Odyn said aloud.

The teens turned as the young elven man nodded towards them before giving way to a guest he was with. The guest he was with however was revealed to be a woman with tanned skin and lavender colored hair. It was none other than one of the two Elven sovereigns: the queen herself!

"Ah... Do pardon me for interrupting you all.," Hyatan said.

"Y-Your Majesty!," Baron panicked as all of the Elven students knelt.

"Forgive us, we... weren't expecting you to be here, your grace.," Roy said.

Hyatan smiled at them as she spoke.

"You need not trouble yourselves, i was simply on my way to look my husband, Berethon. Perhaps you have seen him?," She replied.

"I merely saw him for a few minutes earlier today. I unfortunately never saw which way he went, my liege.," Odyn responded as he kneeled.

The queen's eyes softened as she saw her eldest son. That was disappointing, but at the very least, she got to visit with her sons for a few moments.

"I see... I would like to ask what your doing here, but i'm sure you will explain that later. If possible could you drop by later this evening, son?,"She asked.

Odyn nodded.

"Of course, i would be honored to Your Grace.," Odyn replied.

Team Rwby's eyes widened when they heard what the queen called odyn. This... was.... his mother?

"Of course, miss Ruby is more than welcome to tag along with you. I am very eager to meet her.," Hyatan said.

Odyn nodded.

"I will see to it that she comes, m'lady.," Odyn replied.

"Excellent. Much as i would like to chat more, I am afraid that I must attend to other business. Until later, my son.," Hyatan said walking away.

Though she didn't walk away with embracing her son into a quick hug, which Odyn returned before she parted company with the teens.

Valvehdern bowed his head quickly to them before following after the queen. The group of teens then turned to face Odyn and Roy.

"Odyn...,"Ruby started.

Yang then spoke up as she spoke to not only Odyn, but to the other elves as well.

"You all have some explaining to do...," Yang said.

Odyn rubbed the back of his head in nervousness as he sweatdropped while smiling and laughing nervously. The Elves sighed as Odyn prepared to speak, they knew that...  it was going to take a bit to explain this one.

Ruby looked around in confusion.

"Yeah, but before that... Where are Sun and Neptune?," Ruby asked.

"I'm sure wherever they are that they'll be fine Ruby.," Blake said.

"Yeah, more importantly..," Weiss said looking towards the Dark Elven teens.

"Y-Yeah we get it Weiss. But let's go somewhere else. This is... going to take awhile to explain..," Roy said.

Meanwhile, nearby....

Sun and Neptune are seen sitting in the middle stools of a stand that says "A Simple Wok Noodle House". They are sitting down while eating their plates of noodles with the shopkeep behind the counter and their weapons leaning on the other two stools.

"They're probably fine, right?," Neptune asked.

Sun nodded.

"More than likely. They're with 5 or 6 of the strongest people we know. They're with a team of mostly dark elves after all. They'll be fine.,"Sun reasoned.

"Yeah. You're probably right.," Neptune agreed as the two then nodded towards each other.

His question now answered, Neptune turns back to his noodles as the two then eat in silence until the screen fades to black.

Whew! That was a doozy writing this one, but hopefully you all enjoyed it! I decided it would be better if the elves human friends all met Hyatan at the same time, this will come into play later in the story in a pretty big way. Also, you all can tell where i'm going with the Khanna x Mercury pairing, i figured it would be more emotional if Mercury has no memory of her before regaining it. As for Emerald... I have no idea what I'll do with her lol. I've debated on whether to keep her evil or to go in a different direction with her. Maybe you guys can help me out with that?
