Flame and Crimson: OC x Ruby (DBXV x RWBY)

Hey there everyone, I'm back with another chapter. Thanks for those who have reviewed and favorited the story so far. I'm glad to see that you're enjoying the story thus far. This chapter will start a little different. It will delve into Pyrrha's emotions and thoughts surrounding what is currently happening within the story currently. From there it will resume where the story left off last time.

Since the dark elves are present, events surrounding the fall of Beacon will ultimately differ from what happens in the original story. You guys will find out as you read. Trishaaa15 I'm glad you are liking the story, makes me happy as a writer. And thank you for your support of this story! Rising shield hero season 2 opening 1: Bring Back by MADKID

Visuals:  Odyn, Ruby, and Mercury standing up as lightning strikes across a darkened sky, Yang  in her room looking down until Roy puts a hand on her shoulder to comfort her, JNPR,and KDBNB watching the tournament match between Pyrrha and Penny.  A transition of flames later, hundreds of Grimm are seen to be invading Vale. During the breakdown before the chorus each of the teams participating in the tournament are shown until a large airborne Grimm is shown in the sky above the city. When the Grimm is seen, dozens of golden pillars of light then erupt into the sky, lighting up the skyline of Vale. During the chorus, all of the teams are seen to be fighting off the Grimm, while Odyn and Ruby are fighting Cinder and Emerald. Ruby is pushed back while Odyn transforms and charges at Cinder again, while Cinder has power sweeling around her as she charged towards Odyn. Roy, Yang, and Blake are fighting off Adam, Tirion, and a rather familiar face that has black shadows covering his body. The final breakdown of the song ends with the image of Odyn and Cinder charging towards each other while the characters on their respective sides of the screen follow them to charge at each other.

Chapter 23: Battle of Beacon II; Elven Rage

The scene opens as the Wyvern flies past the hijacked Atlesian Airship, as Ruby Rose looks on, with the surrounding Griffons roaming the skies. Ruby feels the hand of her boyfriend, Odyn, touch her shoulder.

This prompts her to allow a small smile to cross her face.

"Ready, Little Rose?," Odyn asked her.

She nodded with a small smile adorning her face.

"As long as you're with me, Odyn, yeah.," She said.

Odyn looked at his girlfriend, noticing some more not so subtle changes about her. The first thing was, she was... taller now, probably closer to Yang's height. That made Ruby just half a head shorter than Odyn himself now was. Another change was her hair. It.. was longer now with streaks of silver and red in it, thought it still maintained its black color.  Odyn nodded as the two walked towards the cockpit of the stolen airship.

A Griffon lands on the airship, but Ruby easily cuts it down with Crescent Rose, causing to disintegrate into black particles. Odyn puts a hand in front of Ruby as he hears a snap. The Dark Elf turns and sees Neopolitan, now changing into her standard attire with a wave of light washing over her from bottom to top, as she winks after taking a picture of the two. The picture is sent to a certain crime lord with the following text:

"Guess who?"

Roman growls as he sees the picture of Ruby and Odyn that was sent to him.

"Oh, you can not be serious! Also... why is he here?!," Roman growled in frustration.

Having realized his old foe is interfering yet again, the wanted criminal quickly picks up Melodic Cudgel and walks up to the top of the airship.

Time skip: With Blake...

Right outside of Beacon's dining hall, Blake Belladonna backs away from the shattered window, staring in horror at her old partner. Blake was now shaking as she stared at the bull faunus with the grim mask on. She wouldn't say it out loud, but on the inside, she was scared.

"Running away again? Is that what you've become, my love? A coward?," Adam asked chuckling.

Blake was careful to keep her distance for now. She needed to see what Adam was up to and why he was here.

"Why are you doing this?," Blake asked.

Adam frowned as he spoke. How could she not know? After what Blake did to him, she should've guessed why he was here.

"You and I were going to change the world, remember? We were destined to light the fires of revolution!," He said stomping on a downed Atlas student's chest angrily.

He then continued.

"Consider this... the spark.," He replied as a horrified Blake watches Adam draws Wilt, preparing to stab the student.

Blake grit her teeth in anger, she couldn't let what adam was about to do happen. She charges into the dining hall, drawing her sword in a flash.

"Noooo, Stoooppp!," Blake said as she charged towards Adam, sword drawn.

Her blade clashes with his as she pushes him away from the student, and they stand with their blades locked.

"I'm... not... running!," The faunus said gritting her teeth in determination.

"Not yet at least. You... will.," He said chuckling.

He kicks her away, knocking her onto the floor. A nearby Creep runs toward her, only to be shot by Adam.

"But not before you suffer for your betrayal, my love.," Adam told her with a sinister smile.

He then begins to walk towards her, sword drawn.

Time skip: back with team CFVY

Back outside the Beacon grounds, Velvet Scarlatina groans as she struggles to get up, only to get knocked back down when Coco Adel bumps into her after getting knocked away from a Paladin off-screen. The camera pans with Neon Katt and Reese Chloris as they dodge and weave between groups of students fighting against Grimm plus the infected Atlesian Knights and Paladins. The rest of Team ABRN surrounds a Griffon attacking it with bullets and fireballs, as Bolin knocks a Knight aside.

Reese spins her board and slices through another as she passes by it. The teens seemed to be having trouble until the other dark elven soldiers arrived. Hailfire, was seen helping Neptune and Sun as they held off a corrupted Paladin. Nora and Ren decimate another group of Knights. Yatsuhashi Daichi is seen fighting another Griffon.

He successfully dispatches one before another one is about to jump him, only for it to be kicked in the face by a black boot. The camera pans up to reveal that it was Scarlett that had saved the swordsman. She smiled at him.

"Sorry about that, big guy. It looked like you could use some help. Hope you don't mind?," Scarlett said.

Another set of boots landed behind her, making her turn and smirk. It was shown to be Note, part of team KDBNB. 

"We should really wrap this up, Scarlett. This is no time to dawdle.," Note said.

"Yeah, yeah. I hear ya, Note.," Scarlett said as the two then fought back to back with each other and Yatsuhashi.

Fox Alistair dashes over from a pile of robot parts to fight more grimm as elven soldiers are helping students drive back the grimm hordes, and the corrupted Atlesian Knight-200s.

Two Creeps rush at Flynt Coal who uses his trumpet to send the first one flying. Neon and Reese use their weapons to freeze a second Paladin's legs in place. Weiss Schnee then arrives on the battlefield, and charges in but gets swatted aside by its arm.

Neptune reaches his arm out in concern.

"Weiss!," He called out worried.

Weiss is sent flying, but then feels a pair of strong hands catch her. When she looks up, she sees that it was Daikon who had caught her.

"D-Daikon?," Weiss said in surprise.

He smirked at the Schnee heiress.

"You really do seem to have a knack for getting into troubling situations, don't  you princess?," He said chuckling.

Weiss blushed in embarrassment and out of anger.

"Oh ha ha, very funny! You can laugh all you want later.," Weiss said slightly pouting.

The reason her face was red was because Daikon was holding her bridal style.

"If you will kindly put me down, we can focus on disposing of these ruffians.," Weiss said.

"Whatever you say, princess.," Daikon said smirking.

"What am I to do with you?," Weiss thought.

Weiss sighed again. She found that it was impossible to stay mad at Daikon, given the circumstances. Still she was glad he was here for what it was worth.

Meanwhile Neptune sees an Atlesian Knight about to fire at him as he's fighting off a Grimm when Hailfire rushed over to deflect the blast with her shield.

"Focus, Neptune! We can't afford any lapse of judgement right now.," Hailfire said briefly looking over her shoulder.

"Y-Yes ma'am!," Neptune said nervously. 

Yatsuhashi tries to hold back a Paladin's fist with his sword, but he gets overpowered and knocked back.  It tries to finish him off, but is stopped by Scarlett, who had caught its fist. She looked towards the dark teen.

"Are you okay, big guy?," She asked.

Yatsuhashi looked up and saw Scarlett there and nodded. The girl sighed and chuckled at his response.

"You don't talk much, do you? Well.. I know I'd like to eventually hear you speak one of these days so I know what you're thinking.," Scarlett said.

Yatsuhashi was able to reclaim his sword that had been knocked away and prepared to help Scarlett deal with one of the two Paladins that were in their midst.

The second Paladin then turned and starts approaching a distracted Lie Ren.

"Look out!," Nora said in warning.

Nora saw the incoming blow from the Paladin as she pushes Ren out of the way of the Paladin's incoming strike, taking the hit instead.

"Nora! No!," Ren cried out, reaching towards his teammate.

Ren is then knocked out of the way by the Paladin as well.

Coco and Neptune Vasilias fire their weapons at the Paladin, but it is unfazed. The mech then goes to strike the two, before Hailfire comes in and blocks it with her shield. Not without effort though.

"M-Miss Hailfire?," Neptune said in surprise.

"Don't worry... about.. it! Just... do something about this oversized scrap heap, I can't hold this thing at bay for long!," She said with her voice sounding strained.

"What should we do? Cuz uh... this is pretty bad..," Neptune said in slight worry.

"Well, I guess now's a better time than any. Velvet!," Coco said calling towards her Rabbit eared teammate.

Velvet looks over and is excited at the prospect of finally using her dust weapon to help her friends.

"Really?," She asked excited.

Coco nodded.

"Just.. make them count, okay girl?," Coco replied.

Velvet nodded happily.

"Of course, leave it to me Coco!," Velvet replied happily.

Velvet nods. As she walks up to the Paladins, "I May Fall" begins to play in the background.

"What are you doing!? She's going to get hurt!," Weiss said in concern.

"Just watch.," Coco replied.

Velvet holds her hand out as Anesidora glows, forming a scythe. Grabbing the copy of Crescent Rose Velvet leaps into the air, dodging cannon fire as she imitates Ruby's overhead spin, she descends slashing at the Paladin. She then replicates Myrtenaster to deflect the Paladin's punch and land a few blows before pushing it back with an Ember Celica imitation. Once after she lands a few shots, she slides under the Paladin's fist, similar to Blake as she uses a Gambol Shroud copy and uses its string to trip over the mech, before moving to the second Paladin by lopping off its hand, and jabbing it in the head with the cleaver.

Before it can react, it is immediately peppered with holographic bullets, thanks to a copy of Gianduja. As it moves forward, Velvet switches to using Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang to counter a blow, as she lands another few hits while landing a downward blow from above with a copy of Magnhild, severing a limb.

The Paladin attempts to recover, Velvet immediately copies Floating Array, as she leaps off the second Paladin and slices apart its legs before blasting it at full power.

However, the first Paladin that had managed to escape from Scarlett and Yatsuhashi somehow came in and delivered a hard blow to Velvet. This knocked the rabbit faunus onto her back.

"Aah!," Velvet yelped in pain as she hit the ground and skidded for a bit before stopping.

"Velvet!," Coco called out in worry.

At this, Coco unloads her weapon on the Paladin to no avail, Neptune, Nadir, and Reese rush to her side and add their own firepower. But the barrage has little effect and the Paladin continues to loom over Velvet.

Furious, Weiss immediately rushes in past the others, as she instinctively uses a summoning glyph, confusing her. When she gets in between Velvet and the Paladin about to bring its fist down, she raises Myrtenaster defensively then closes her eyes and grits her teeth. A thud is heard as she looks up and discovers she summoned the arm and sword of the Arma Gigas she fought before, which blocks the Paladin's fist and bisects the machine in half.

She takes a brief look at her summoning before being surprised by a camera flash, which was taken by a smiling Velvet.

But before they can take a breath, another advanced Paladin rushes in from the corner and begins to charge at them. It is about to bring its fist down onto velvet when its stopped by a blacked hair saiyan, this one male. It was shown to be Giblet that had stopped the Paladin from harming the faunus.

He looked towards the rabbit girl.

"I'm glad I made it in time. Are you alright, miss Scarlatina?," Giblet asked.

Velvet couldn't stop herself from staring at the teen who'd just saved her life. She caught herself staring at him and shook her head to refocus.

"H-huh? O-oh yes! Thank you for saving me umm...," Velvet said before realizing she didn't know the boy's name.

He chuckled before responding.

"It's quite alright. My name is Giblet. Giblet Zenkai.," Giblet said introducing himself.

Giblet then refocused on the Paladin, who was attempting to overpower him.

"V.. Velvet. Just call me Velvet.," The rabbit girl said.

"Velvet, hm? I see. That's a very pretty name.," Giblet said.

Velvet blushed at what he said and clenched her fist to her chest.

The others recognized that Giblet had the situation handled and refocused due to the knights surrounding them.

"You have got to be kidding me!," Sun said in frustration.

A ki blast went through the stomach of an Atlesian Knight about to hit Sun. The faunus turned and saw Jinjer had her hand outstretched and smoking as the knight fell over.

"May want to start paying attention there, Wukong.," Jinjer told him.

"R-right. Ha ha," Sun laughed nervously as he focused and slipped into a stance.

With Ruby and (&) Odyn...

Back at the airship, the battle commences as Ruby performs a low swing, with Neo somersaulting over it, and ducking the next swing, before performing another backflip to dodge the third. While Ruby fought Neo, Odyn fought Roman. He simply used his light daggers to make Roman dance around on his feet. It all honesty, it was quite amusing to him.

Ruby then twirls Crescent Rose before attempting another low sweep, only for Neo to back-flip away from her consecutive twirls. Once Ruby finishes spinning her weapon, she lodges Crescent Rose on the hull and fires a shot, only for Neo to shatter in an illusion, confusing her. Neo then reappeared and took Ruby by surprise, switching places with Roman.

The crime boss then fired a shot from his dust weapon Melodic Cudgel,  sending her flying back several feet. She lodges Crescent Rose to safely grip herself from the surrounding gales, while Roman walks up to her.

"Little Red, little Red, you are just determined to be the hero of Vale, aren'tcha?," Roman asked.

"What are you doing!? Without these ships, the Grimm will destroy everything!," Ruby replied.

"I'm aware. And.. that's the plan!," The Crime boss replied.

Ruby then swats aside Melodic Cudgel just as he attempts to fire it at her, causing him to move a few feet off-balance, before Neo returns and leaps over her, kicking Ruby's left cheek, and using the momentum to flip her over and send Ruby tumbling on her back. Before Neo approached her again, she's kneed in the stomach by an angered Odyn. The dark elf then rushed to Ruby's side as they glared at Roman and Neo.

Neo attempted to attack Ruby again, only to be stopped by Odyn again.

"Don't think so. You and I have some unfinished business, Neo.," Odyn said blocking her attempted assault on Ruby.

Roman was then left to deal with Ruby as the two briefly clashed weapons. But as the elder one with more weapon experience,  Roman naturally overpowered his younger opponent,  sending her nearly careening off of the hull.

"But why!? What do you get out of it!?," Ruby asked not understanding.

Roman grit his teeth in annoyance.  Was this girl truly that naive?

"You're asking the wrong questions, Red! It's not what I have to gain, it's that I can't afford to lose!," Roman barked at her.

As Ruby got up to charge at him, Roman sighed. He deflected Crescent Rose into the air, tripped sending her off balance before slamming his cane into her abdomen. He takes advantage of her reeling to then kick her in the face, sending her flying once more towards the edge of the ship. The girl is seen holding on for dear life as the crook approaches her with Odyn and Neo engaging in a fist fight in the background.

The blade of Crescent Rose is the only thing keeping her from falling at this point. Roman is seen walking to the edge.

"I may be a gambling man, but even I know there are certain bets you just don't take.," Roman said.

The crook holds the barrel of Melodic Cudgel towards Ruby's face as he continued to speak.

"Like it or not, the people that hired me are going to change the world! You can't stop 'em, I can't stop 'em!," Roman said.

Something rose up to the surface in her that just didn't believe that was true.

"No.," Ruby said.

"What? I couldn't hear you, little red.," Roman laughed.

"I said, No! I don't believe that for a second!," Ruby said angry.

Roman was taken a little by surprise at Ruby's outburst, but simply shrugged it off with a laugh. As Roman continued she locked eyes with Odyn with the dark elf nodding. He knew what to do. Odyn managed to distract Neo long enough to push the button on the bottom of her parasol, causing it to open and send Neo flying off the airship, leaving her with a frightened gasp as she is silently left at the mercy of the Grimm roaming the skies and the raging winds.

Roman notices this and took his eyes off of Ruby. Now was her chance.

"NEO!," Roman said in concern.

"I don't care what you say! We will stop them and I will stop you! BET ON THAT!!," Ruby shouted.

As Ruby charges at top speed with the use of her Semblance, Roman grips Melodic Cudgel with both hands, the left hand holding the shaft, as he quickly catches the projectile with the hook end and hurls it at Ruby, knocking her away, before smacking her with the business end of the cane, ramming the weapon in her stomach, and firing another shot, sending her on her back once more.

"You have spunk, Red. But this is the real world!," Roman replied.

Roman then whacks Ruby with the butt of his cane, sending her back a few feet.

"The real world is cold!," He said.

He lands another hit, this time on the girl's legs.

"The real world doesn't care about spirit!," Roman continued.

Ruby then kicks him in the knee, causing him to lose balance as he prepares a downward strike.

"You wanna be a hero!? Then play the part and die like every other Huntsman in history!," Roman said aggravated.

He then proceeds to smack Ruby with the business end of the cane again.

"As for me, I'll do what I do best: lie, steal, cheat, and SURVIVE!," Roman said.

As Roman prepare a final blow to send Ruby off of the ship, Odyn used his ki to generate winds to push the crook away from his girlfriend. He walked over to the crook, kneed him in the stomach before holding him by the neck in a choke hold.

"I think you've said enough, crook! Don't belittle my lover anymore, human!," The dark elf said angered.

Just as Odyn was about to toss the crook off of the ship, an Alpha Griffon suddenly appears from the sky and knocked Odyn off balance. The Grimm proceeded to then swallow the crime boss whole, attracted by the negativity of his rant. It looks towards Odyn attracted by his negative emotions. The dark elf then reminds the creature that he was not to be eaten as he summoned swords of light around him.

The Grimm backs away as it seemed to be afraid of Odyn for some reason. With one final glare, the Grimm takes off and flies away from the ship.

"That's right, you oversized chicken. Don't forget what I am.," Odyn thought.

He then walked over to the ship's edge before extending a hand towards Ruby and smiling.

"Need a hand, little rose?," He asked.

Ruby smiled and took his hand.

"Y-Yeah.," She said bashfully.

Odyn chuckled before pulling his lover up onto the hull and briefly hugging her.

She widened her eyes as she hugged him back.

"Please... Ruby. Don't be so reckless like that, you nearly sent me into hysterics.," Odyn said.

Ruby rubbed the back of her boyfriend in comfort.

"I know... I can't promise anything, but.. I'll try for your sake Odyn.," She said.

The two pulled away from the embrace before refocusing.

Ruby then grabs crescent rose before folding it behind her back.

"Now what?," She asked.

"Now...," Odyn trailed off before picking up his lover like a bride.

"O-Odyn w-what are y-you doing?," Ruby asked blushing.

"Going.. down!," Odyn said leaping off the falling ship before rocketing down to the surface.

The only thing heard were Ruby's screams of terror before Odyn slowed to a gentle hover just prior to landing on the rooftops of Vale.

Ruby pouted as she looked to her boyfriend.

"Odyn... please.. for my sake, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!," Ruby said.

Odyn smiled and nodded.

"Alright, my little rose. I won't do that again. Sorry for scaring you with that.," Odyn apologized.

"I'll forgive you, Odyn. But... you have to carry me for a little while.," Ruby said.

Odyn raised an eybrow at this. Then he noticed Ruby's legs still shaking.

"I... don't think I can walk just yet, ha ha ha!," Ruby said laughing nervously.

Odyn chuckled.

"Alright. Where to?," He asked.

"Let's find Weiss first.," Ruby said.

Odyn nodded and the two then headed towards the Schnee heiress.

Time skip: Vale...

Back in the city, Glynda Goodwitch uses The Disciplinarian to knock back a few Creeps, while Qrow Branwen slices and blasts at a few infected Knights with Harbinger. One student giddily knocks back an Ursa with his mace, but then gets held at gunpoint by a few infected Knights.

Suddenly, their heads are shot off, surprising the student. As the smoke clears, it is revealed that General Ironwood miraculously survived his crash, his damaged uniform exposing the right half of his body to be cybernetic. Without hesitation, he shoots down all of the infected Knights with Due Process. Flipping it into his right hand to club the last one as it leaps at him.

"This area's secure! We need to-," Ironwood started before a sudden slash of a sword interrupted his thought.

Turning, it was revealed to be Sybyrh,  Zero, and Tarro. The dark elf sheathed her sword before walking past Ironwood.

"You should watch your back, General.," Sybyrh said.

Qrow then leapt past the dark elf, just in time to see a large Griffon lunging at him. With one swing of Qrow's scythe, the Griffon is sliced in two. Upon landing, Qrow turns around to address Sybyrh. 

"What about you then? What was that about watching your back?," Qrow said.

Sybyrh smirked.

"You really are... quite foolish for a human. I let you kill that Grimm.," Sybyrh said as she turned away.

Qrow smirked as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Ouch.. that was cold.," he chuckled silently.

Ironwood then approached Qrow.

"Qrow.. I hope you that I.. didn't mean for this to happen. Any of it... This isn't my doing, nor was it my intention either..," Ironwood said.

Qrow scoffed.

"You idiot. I know you're not responsible for this.," Qrow said.

Ironwood relaxes and sighs, lowering his head and putting his hand to his forehead, while Glynda places her hand on his shoulder.

"So what now, General?," Qrow asked.

"Someone's done the impossible and gained control of my machines. And that enormous Grimm seems to be fixated on the school. Glynda, form up the local Huntsmen and establish a safe zone here in Vale. We need to evacuate Beacon. Qrow, I'm leaving that to you and my men... as well as the elven soldiers. I still need to get to my ship.," Ironwood said.

The three hear a loud noise and turn to see its source: Ironwood's ship slowly nosediving into the ground.

"Well.. it won't be that far of walk..," Qrow said.

The Atlesian Knights that are still functioning attempt one last time to harm the Huntsmen, before powering down.

Time skip: With Hailfire and the others...

In the Beacon courtyard, the students stand prepared to fight the Atlesian Paladin that is charging toward them. However, electricity arcs across it and it suddenly powers down, collapsing and sliding to a stop in front of them.

"Hm. That went better than expected?," Sun said half in question.

Weiss doubles over, exhausted, leaning on Myrtenaster to keep herself standing. Daikon supporting her from behind. She offered a small smile towards the Saiyan.

The group then heard footsteps, before seeing that Yang and Roy had just now arrived.

"Weiss! Everyone! You're okay!" Yang said as she runs over to Weiss.

She paused before continuing.

"Have you seen or heard from Ruby?," Yang asked.

Weiss shakes her head.

"No. But.. I'm sure she's fine. Odyn's with her afterall, he'll look after her.," Weiss said.

"Yeah.. you're probably right. What about Blake?," Yang replied.

"She and Shallot went after an Alpha and... some members of the White Fang.," Weiss said pointing in the direction that the two went.

"You go and meet up with Ruby and Odyn. I'll go look for Blake.," Yang said .

Weiss nodded as she went towards Ruby and Odyn, while Yang and Roy went towards Blake. The heiress gave a thumbs up before they went their separate ways.

Time Skip: With Pyrrha and Jaune...

In the Beacon vault, an elevator opens up to reveal Ozpin, Jaune, and Pyrrha. The three immediately sprint out of the elevator and down the corridor.

"What is this place?," Jaune asked.

"It's a.. type of vault.," Pyrrha replied.

" You've been here before?," He asked.

Pyrrha looks down. She then hears Sarai speak to her.

"Pyrrha.," Sarai said from within her.

"Sarai?," Pyrrha asked mentally.

"There's something I need to tell you. It's rather important.," The dark elf soul said.

"Alright. What is it?," Pyrrha asked.

"I've seen what happens from here and... it's not favorable for anyone, least of all you.," Sarai told her.

"I see... I had a feeling something unpleasant happens. So what happens.. no wait.. I meet my end, don't I?," Pyrrha replied solemnly.

"*sighs* It would seem you've surmised your fate then. You're far smarter than most, almost to smart for your own good. Know that I do not wish this on you. If anyone deserves to have a future, it is you my sister.," Sarai said.

Pyrrha smiled.

" Thank you, Sarai. You are like the sister I never had.," Pyrrha told her.

"There... may be a way to save you though. Although...it is... rather risky, a final resort if you will.," Sarai said.

"Really? There's a way to prevent the fall Maiden's power from passing to her enemy?," She asked.

"There is. Assuming all goes as planned. The only way would be for the two of us to become one being.," Sarai explained. 

Pyrrha was silent, she knew what this meant. It would be the same situation as her absorbing Amber's power.

"That would mean...," Pyrrha trailed off in her thought.

"Yes. I would have to fully reincarnate into your body. I... assume you know what that would potentially mean, Pyrrha..," Sarai said.

Pyrrha nodded.

"Our souls would fuse together. We would in the truest sense become one being... A brand new person.," Pyrrha answered the dark elf maiden.

"Indeed. The person you are now would cease to be.," Sarai answered.

Pyrrha looked down in thought.

"I'll give you some time to think it over.," Sarai said.

Pyrrha's mind then returned to reality. As Jaune then spoke up.

"What would this school need to... hide?," He asked.

Finally seeing the Aura transfer machine, Jaune stops in his tracks, gazing wide-eyed at the strange contraption and the comatose girl inside.

"What? Who is that?," The blonde asked.

Ozpin spoke to Pyrrha.

"Jaune...," Pyrrha said worried.

"Pyrrha! Quickly, get to the pods! We do not have much time!," Ozpin said.

He knew they were running short on time, the enemy would be here any minute.

Pyrrha looks at Jaune, then runs to the second pod.

"Mister Arc, if you'd like to help, you can stand guard here.," Ozpin said.

Jaune looks at the two with uncertainty, then turns around and gets into a guarding stance.

"What do we do now?," Pyrrha asked from in front of the pod.

Ozpin is seen to be hurriedly typing on the machine's hologram keyboard.

"We do nothing.," Ozpin answered.

The second pod opens, and Ozpin turns his head to look at Pyrrha.

"You, Miss Nikos... have a choice to make. And I'm sure your dark elven friend has already appraised you of the current situation.," Ozpin said.

Pyrrha looks at the pod, then at Jaune, hesitating. Her expression changes from uncertainty to sadness, and she wipes a tear from her eye, still looking at Jaune. She then climbs into the pod, which closes.

With Blake....

Blake and Adam are still seen to be clashing blades with each other as they circled one another.

"This could've been our day! Can't you see that!?," Adam asked angry.

Blake gestured to the destruction and loss of life around her as she spoke.

" I never wanted this! I wanted equality! I wanted peace!," Blake said upset.

She raises her sword, its blade folding into sickle mode, and shoots at Adam, who blocks both bullets with his sword.

"What you want is impossible!," Adam spat back.

He sheathes his sword and backhands Blake across her face, knocking her over.

"But I understand because all I want is you, Blake.," He said walking over to her.

She begins to raise her sickle again, only for him to kick it out of her hand, knocking her over once again.

"And as I set out upon this world and deliver the justice mankind so greatly deserves, I will make it my mission to destroy everything you love.," Adam said just as Yang comes into view.

"Blake!," Yang called to her friend.

Yang's voice draws their attention to one of the broken windows. She soon comes into view and shoots a White Fang member, before looking around for her teammate.

"Blake! Where are you?!," Yang calls out.

Adam looks at Blake to see her terrified expression, then returns his gaze to Yang.

"Starting with her.," Adam said.

"No Adam, don't  do it! You don't know who's behind her! If yiu do that... I don't know if you'll survive what or rather who will come after you!," Blake tried warning him.

He ignored her plea as he smirked darkly.

Back with Pyrrha...

Ozpin spoke, wanting to know of Pyrrha's decision.

"Are you ready?," Ozpin asked.

Pyrrha looks at him and gives a slow nod.

"I... I need to hear you say it.," He said.

"Yes.," Pyrrha said laying her head back and staring ahead.

"Thank you, Miss Nikos. And.. I am sorry about this...," Ozpin said.

Pyrrha then spoke to the soul inside of her again.

"Sarai... I... have a favor to ask.," Pyrrha said.

Sarai responded.

"Of course, sister. What do you need?," Sarai replied.

"If... something irreversible should happen to me, can you.. promise to take care of Jaune for me?," Pyrrha asked.

"Are you sure you want it to end without him even knowing how you felt about him?," Sarai asked.

A tear fell down her cheek.

"Of course not, but.. what can I do?," Pyrrha said sniffling.

"Survive, that's what. Survive and tell him how you feel. As I said, you and I are the same. Your feelings are my feelings,  just as my feelings are now yours..," Sarai told her.

Pyrrha nodded still in tears before Sarai spoke again.

"Listen, Pyrrha... I will do whatever I have to do in ensuring you survive. I don't want you to die either!," Sarai told her.

She continued as Pyrrha listened.

"But... as for your request.. If that was is what you truly desire, I will do what I can to ensure Jaune is taken care of.," Sarai said.

"Thank you, Sarai.," Pyrrha said.

"You are quite welcome, my dear sister.," Sarai replied.

Pyrrha's mind then refocused on what was in front of her.

Ozpin presses a few more buttons on the screen, and Amber's pod raises up. Amber begins glowing orange, and her eyelids begin fluttering. The orange glow travels along the pipes connecting the two pods - first up to the ceiling, then down to Pyrrha's pod. An orange glow surrounds Pyrrha, who begins screaming out in agony.

Jaune then turns in surprise towards Pyrrha.

"Pyrrha!," Jaune cried in worry.

Jaune runs over to Pyrrha's pod, moving his gaze back and forth between Pyrrha and Amber's pod. While Jaune panics, trying to understand what's going on, Ozpin looks away.

"I'm ... so .. sorry.," Ozpin said sadly.

Suddenly, an arrow pierces the glass of Amber's pod, striking her in the chest. Amber gasps, and her eyes open, then begin to close again, while the machine begins beeping an alarm. The voice inside Pyrrha cries out in alarm.

"No, Amber!," Sarai cried.

Inside the white void in Pyrrha's mind the girl sees the true form of Sarai and of Amber speaking to each other.

"Thank you, my friend.," Amber said.

"But.. Amber you..," Sarai started to say.

"Please... Sarai, do not worry about me. I'm just glad I was able to see you and talk to you one last time.," Amber said.

"Amber...," Sarai said tearing up.

She looked to Pyrrha and smiled.

"Please.. look after my best friend for me.," Amber said smiling.

"I'll... do my best to.," Pyrrha replied.

"Thank you. That's all I can ask of you, Pyrrha.," Amber said smiling as her presence then faded from her mind.

Pyrrha and Sarai knew then, Amber was gone. But she did leave a small amount of her power with Pyrrha before she left. Her mind returned to the present situation.

Ozpin and Jaune turn around to see Cinder Fall standing halfway down the corridor from them, an obsidian bow in her hand. She lowers the bow, a tiny smirk creeping across her face. Pyrrha looks on, feeling the rage towards this woman from Sarai for killing Amber.

"Cinder.. I swear... you will pay for this!," Sarai said in rage.

Pyrrha could feel her blood boiling as she looked upon Cinder, a result of Sarai's anger no doubt.

With Blake....

The scene switches back to the abandoned and destroyed cafeteria of Beacon with Adam and Blake. Adam draws his sword and stabs it into Blake's abdomen near her left hip, causing her to shriek in pain. The cry catches Yang's attention.

"Huh?," Yang said turning to see Adam standing over Blake with his blade drawn.

Roy tried holding her back but to no avail.

"Yang, wait!," Roy warned.

Yang didn't listen as she was to angry with Adam for harming her friend and partner.

"Get away from her!," Yang said in anger rushing away from Roy and towards the bull faunus.

Adam stands upright, pulling his sword from Blake's flesh and turning to face Yang.

Blake is seen to be reaching out helplessly.

"No... please... don't..," Blake cried reaching out in vain.

Adam sheathes his sword, smiling. Yang screams, her eyes turning red and a burst of flame erupting from her. She leaps at Adam, drawing her fist back with tears in her eyes. Adam swiftly draws his sword, swinging it through the air at Yang, as his Semblance activates. As Yang flies through the air, the lower half of her right arm separates from her.

Both Blake and Roy's eyes widen in horror as they scream.

"YANG!!!!," Both call out in worry.

In the vault with Pyrrha...

Back in the vault, Amber struggles to breathe, her eyes wide, the machine's alarm still playing. Finally, all breath leaves her. Her eyes drift closed, and her head leans to the side, her whole body going limp. The green flames that light the torches throughout the vault suddenly snuff out.

The camera briefly cuts back to Yang who's had her arm severed. Yang flies through the air, beginning to lose consciousness, with glowing yellow Aura splattering out from her wound. She lands on the floor and lays there on her side, completely still. Blake looking horrified and Roy looking on in anger.

The screen cuts back to the vault with Pyrrha frantically banging her fists on the glass of the pod. The orange glow leaves Pyrrha and travels back through the pipes into Amber. The glow then bursts out of Amber, shattering the glass in its way, and enters Cinder. The murderer glows, begins floating, and gains long trails of flame around her eyes, with orange energy swirling around her.

Cinder sighs in content.

"Ah... now finally, everything is mine.," She thought chuckling.

Pyrrha beats even harder on the glass, her stress increasing. Jaune raises his sword and charges toward Cinder.

"Stay back!," Ozpin warned the blonde.

Cinder summons a large fireball casting it toward Jaune, who blocks it with his shield and is blasted backwards, landing on his back.

"JAUNE!," Pyrrha said in panic.

Finally, Pyrrha uses her Semblance to rip the pod's door off its hinges, throwing it at Cinder, who knocks it away like it's nothing. As the villainess begins to descend to the floor, Pyrrha leaps out of the pod and charges, calling her weapon and shield to her with her Semblance. However, Ozpin puts his arm out, stopping her.

"Take Jaune and get out of here! Find Glynda! Ironwood! Qrow! Bring them here right away! The tower cannot fall!," Ozpin said.

He turns to look at Pyrrha in the eyes.

"You will only get in the way as you are now. Go, get out of here!," Ozpin warned.

Pyrrha hesitates for a moment but obeys Ozpin, scooping up Jaune and running away. While she does so, Cinder descends to the floor and watches them leave, with the glow, the swirling energy, and the flames around her eyes all disappearing. Cinder turns her attention back to Ozpin, her eyes still glowing for a moment.

"Buying them time to get away? You're only delaying the inevitable, old man.," Cinder said confidently.

" Perhaps so... But, I do know this. I know what the dark elves are truly capable of, Cinder. And I will be the first to tell you that it is frightening. It's beyond anything any human could hope to command.," Ozpin said in warning.

Cinder smirked cockily.

"Whatever. By the time I'm done with them, they'll be nothing more than a memory.," Cinder said.

"I'm warning you, Cinder. That race is not one to anger. You don't know what you're getting yourself into! There's a reason Salem is afraid of them. You should be careful. The wrath of a race as powerful as the Dark Elven race is currently, isn't something to lightly dismiss.," Ozpin warned her sternly.

Cinder simply smiled darkly as her power blazed around her.

Back in the cafeteria....

Adam slowly walks toward Yang's unconscious body and swings his sword out to the side, flicking her blood from its blade. Before he can reach her, another blade blocks his own. As he looks, he sees one familiar sight... burning eyes.

Roy had blocked his blade and was glaring at the faunus. The dark elf spoke up.

"I don't think so, faunus! You and I have a score to settle!," Roy said angrily.

"Another forsak-," Adam began but was sudden hit hard in the stomach by a kick and sent into a pillar.

"Don't even think about using that vulgar term, got it you red heard weasel?!," Roy said pointing his blade towards the faunus.

Adam removed himself from the pillar and smirked. This one was rather bold to challenge him. He still felt the scars from when he fought the blue haired dark elf. He'd never experienced such humiliation before then. He wasn't a complete fool though. Adam could tell, Roy was furious. And.. there was something not exactly normal about him. If the the high winds pushing him back that came off of this dark elf were any indication, this wouldn't be easy.

Blake couldn't move as she had never seen Roy this angry before. She managed to get to Yang, but was frozen after she'd scooped up Yang into her arms. This guy wasn't normal.

Roy's Ki was now blazing around him as he unsheathed his sword and slipped into a stance. Adam mirrored the action.

"Now Taurus, take me down if you can!," Roy said.

Roy's Ki and Adam's Aura clashed as the two stared at each other preparing to fight.

Back at the vault...

Ozpin and Cinder are seen to be glaring at each other as the villainess then speaks.

"This whole time... right beneath our feet. She was right about you.," Cinder said.

Ozpin turns his cane in his grip, staring hard at Cinder.

"Such arrogance.," Cinder said shaking her head slightly.

The camera zooms in with a close up on their faces before panning upwards to a bird's eye view of the standoff, before the camera cuts to black.

The screen comesback up as the scene shows the darkened corridor of the Vault under Beacon. Only flashes of green and vermilion are illuminated in the darkness. More flashes are shown as Ozpin and Cinder Fall clash weapons against each other.

After a clash, Cinder slides back, using her hand to melt the floor below her, and summons ice crystals from the newly-formed substance, hurling them towards Ozpin. The Headmaster managed to delflect the projectiles by moving at inhuman speeds, before darting forward and delivering a flurry of strikes at Cinder with his cane. The result, sending the new Fall Maiden flying back with the last of the blows. Cinder then floats mid air by unleashing her Maiden power. Ozpin then slams his cane into the floor, forming a spherical force-field around him.

The villainess then unleashes a powerful fire blast, with Ozpin leaping into the attack with the barrier protecting him. As he closes in on her, the screen fades to white.

The camera briefly cuts to Berethon and Hyatan after thunder strikes as if indicating something had happened to their old friend.

Hyatan's eyes widened before they softened.

"What is it, dear?," Berethon asked.

" I fear... something has happened to Ozpin. Something not ideal.," Hyatan spoke.

Berethon's face hardened as he sighed.

"I see... so he's met his end for the current vessel. Very well...," Berethon said before looking to the elven commander.

"Commander.," he said.

"Yes, my liege?," The elf asked.

"Gather our forces that are here. We will assist those within Vale.," Berethon ordered.

The camera then fades away from the Elven king and queen before returning to another part of the school.

Beacon Docks...

The screen then fades out to the docks outside of Beacon. Air buses are seen picking up the last few civilians and students. Peter Port and Bartholomew Oobleck oversee the evacuation.

"That's it! Everybody on board! This is a mandatory evacuation!," Port said ushering people into the bullhead.

"A safe zone has been established in Vale! Please, remain calm and listen to Atlas personnel!," Oobleck added as he also was seen to be directing civilians inside of the bullhead.

Weiss stares in front of her, eyes wide in disbelief of what she is seeing before her. Vale was on fire and the city was under attack by hundreds of Grimm. How did it come to this?

"Weiss!"

The Schnee heiress turned as Zwei barked, alerting her of her leader's presence. Ruby Rose and Odyn are seen running towards Weiss.  Weiss then turns to greet the two.

"Ruby! Odyn!," Weiss said in greeting.

"Oh, thank goodness we found you!," Ruby said in relief.

Weiss spoke up as a question had been plaguing her mind on her leader's previous whereabouts.

"Ruby, where have you two-," She started before Ruby cut her off mid question.

"Don't worry about it, we're fine! What's going on here?," Ruby replied.

Unsure of what to say, Weiss lowers her gaze sadly.

"Weiss? What is it? Talk to me!," Ruby asked frantically.

Weiss steps aside, giving Ruby a clear view of Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long lying on the ground. Both girls have bandages wrapped around their wounds, and the latter is unconscious. Ruby slumps to her knees as she sees her sister. But then Odyn spoke, gaining the Schnee's attention.

"Weiss, where's Roy?," Odyn asked.

Weiss was about to answer when Blake finally spoke up. Shallot was seen to be supporting the cat faunus as she sat up.

"He.. stayed behind to fight Adam. Told us to run and that he'd catch up to us later after he'd finished dealing with him.," Blake said.

"I see. You don't need to worry about my brother, Blake. He'll be fine. I'd be more concerned about Adam, he doesn't know what my brother's capable of. I know.. more than anyone else how strong my brother is.," Odyn said.

After Odyn's answer the group looked on at the scene. They were a little sad at the state of Beacon. Hiw in the world had things unraveled to this extent in such a short amount of time?

Behind them sit Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren, who are too battered and bruised to fight. Blake reaches over and places her hand on Yang's.

"I'm... so sorry..," Blake said with tears in her eyes.

Odyn looks directly at the faunus, catching her attention.

"Blake, don't you dare blame yourself for this.,"Odyn said sternly.

"But.. I'm the reason Yang was-," Blake argued before Odyn angrily interrupted her.

"No, you're not! None of that was your fault, Blake! Adam took advantage of a weakness of yours, that's all! Don't you dare say this was your fault!," Odyn said looking at the faunus.

Odyn grit his teeth and curled his fingers into a fist in frustration. 

"Whoever decided to cause this, is going to pay! They're seriously messing with the wrong people!," Odyn said aloud in anger.

Ruby looked at Yang.

"Yang....," Ruby said in worry.

Sun then walks over with Jinjer and the others.

"Hey. She's gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship ready to take you guys to Vale.," Sun said.

Nora then spoke up finally.

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing.," Nora said.

Nora attempts to stand, but she quickly sits back down, groaning and holding her side.

"What?!," Ruby said surprised.

"Look, guys, that giant Grimm is circling the school! Even the White Fang are pulling out! We all have to go, now!," Sun said.

Ren also tried to stand but found that he couldn't.

"We're not... leaving! Ugh!," Ren said standing but immediately feel to his knees.

Sun turns and casts a worried look at Blake.

"I'll find them... I'll find them, and I'll bring them back.," Ruby said before her wrist was grabbed by Odyn.

"You mean we'll find them and bring them back, right?," Odyn said.

"Oh, right! Hee hee!," Ruby said giggling as Odyn held her hand.

Weiss Spoke up immediately after that.

"I'll come too. Can't leave everything up to you two lovebirds.," Weiss said.

"Glad to have you along, weiss.," Odyn said to which Weiss just turned away.

"Watch over Blake, sun. We'll be back.," Weiss said.

Ruby, Odyn, and Weiss run back toward Beacon Academy, while Sun watches them go.

"You better be! Idiots.," Sun said.

With Pyrrha...

The camera pans down the front of Beacon Tower as Jaune and Pyrrha run out of the front door. The muffled sounds of Ozpin and Cinder's fight can be heard.

"Okay, I think I have professor Glynda's number. Oh, where is it?," Jaune said as he took out his scroll, walking away briefly.

He was looking at his scroll trying to find at as Pyrrha looked at Beacon's Tower silently. Jaune's voice soon breaks her concentration.

"Um.. Pyrrha, what was all that back there?," Jaune asked her.

Pyrrha tirned and looked at Jaune.

"I...," Pyrrha started to answer.

Their conversation is interrupted by an explosion, followed by Cinder using fire to fly up through the elevator shaft. The two teens stare at the tower in surprise.

"It seems... even Ozpin wasn't enough to stop that woman...," Sarai said from within Pyrrha.

"But... Ozpin..," Jaune said confused.

Pyrrha looked at Jaune, knowing what she had to do in order to keep the boy she was in love with safe.

"You know what you have to do, Pyrrha.," Sarai said.

Pyrrha feels a tears fall down her cheek in realization. She knows that this may be the last time she'll ever get to see Jaune.

"I... know. I-It's just hard to..," Pyrrha said.

"I'm aware. I'll help you.," Sarai said.

Feeling Sarai's courage surging through her, Pyrrha adopted a determined look as she spoke to Jaune.

"There's no time.," She said shaking her head and continuing with a determined tone to her voice.

"Go Jaune. Get to Vale and call for help.," Pyrrha said determined.

Jaune's confused as he looks at Pyrrha.

"Huh? B-But what are you going to do, Pyrrha?," Jaune asked in confusion.

Pyrrha slowly turns her head to stare up at the top of Beacon Tower. Following her gaze, Jaune realizes what she plans to do.

"No... no, Pyrrha, you can't. You saw how powerful she is! Pyrrha, I won't let you do-," Jaune said but was cut short in surprise by what Pyrrha did next as she walked up to him.

Suddenly, Pyrrha grabs Jaune's head in both hands and silences him with a long kiss on the lips. After a moment of hesitation, he gently pulls her in and returns the kiss, while Pyrrha slightly raises her foot behind her. She then pulls away, ending the kiss, and stares into his eyes, one hand on his cheek and the other on his chest.

"I'm... so sorry Jaune.," She said sadly.

Pyrrha dips her head as her eyes change to that of Sarai's. He knew that Sarai had taken temporary control of Pyrrha's body as she spoke to him.

"Go, Jaune. Don't worry about your girlfriend, I'll do what I can to protect her! I'm not about to let Pyrrha die!," Sarai said before giving control back to Pyrrha. 

She then uses her Semblance on his armor, pushing him directly into a nearby locker, which slams shut from the impact.

"Hey! Wait! Stop, stop! Pyrrha, please don't do this!," Jaune said pleading with her from inside the locker.

While Jaune pleads, Pyrrha walks over to the locker and begins typing coordinates into it. She looks him in the eyes one last time, before stepping back and watching the locker fly away. Once it vanishes into the distance, she clenches her fists and, once again, adopts a determined demeanor as she walks toward the tower.

"There will be no going back now, you realize that right?," Sarai asked.

Pyrrha nodded.

"I'm... aware. But I have to do this!," Pyrrha answered determined.

She felt Sarai smile inside.

"Very well, if you're that determined to see this through I won't stop you.," Sarai said.

"Thank you, Sarai... for everything.," Pyrrha said.

"Of course. Now.. get going!," Sarai said.

"Right!," Pyrrha replied.

Once she steps through the entrance, she runs to the nearest elevator and uses her Semblance to force the doors open. Inside, she finds that Cinder has left a large hole in the floor and roof of the elevator on her way up. Pyrrha steps inside the elevator, closes her eyes, and begins mustering all of her strength. The elevator begins shaking. She focuses even harder, straining herself, until the elevator begins a quick ascent toward the top.

With Ruby, Odyn, and Weiss....

Meanwhile, Ruby, Weiss, and Odyn were heading back to the Beacon Campus when Weiss' Scroll rang. Stopping briefly, the Schnee heiress then picked it up.

"It's Jaune! Where are you?," Weiss answered.

The camera cuts to a random street somewhere in vale as Jaune speaks through the scroll. The locker je was in was now behind him and open.

"Weiss! Please, you have to stop her!," Jaune said with panic in his voice.

"What?! Stop who?," Weiss answered confused.

"Pyrrha! She's going after that woman at the top of the tower! She doesn't stand a chance!," Jaune said.

"Jaune, what are you talking about!? Where are you?," Weiss answered still confused about what he was talking about.

Jaune then shouted into the Scoll's speaker.

"Don't worry about me!(The blonde leaned against a wall, his voice now full of sadness and at normal volume.) Please, you have to save Pyrrha.," He said.

"We will. Are you okay, Jaune?," Weiss replied.

With one last flare of emotion, Jaune screams and throws his Scroll onto the ground, breaking it. He collapses onto his hands and knees, crying.

"Please...," He said crying.

It cuts back to Weiss trying to get a reponse from Jaune, to no avail.

"Jaune? Jaune!," Weiss asked receiving no answer.

The ground shakes, alerting Ruby, Odyn, and Weiss to the danger that approaches them. The Wyvern flies into view, circling Beacon Tower with black ooze dripping from it. It perches on one of the arches stemming from the tower and utters a screech. Ruby draws Crescent Rose, shifting it into its scythe form in preparation for the Grimm spawning from the ooze.

"Tch! Over sized lizard!," Odyn spat angry as he drew his sword from the sheath on his back.

"I have a plan.," Ruby said.

Odyn chuckled and Weiss sighed.

"You always do. What is it this time?," Weiss replied sighing as she drew her rapier.

Beacon Tower...

At the top of the tower, in Ozpin's office, a large amount of smoke flows out from the elevator, masking the entrance of Cinder Fall. She confidently strides to the window across the room, a smirk on her face. As if sensing her presence, the Wyvern climbs up to the top, peers at her through the window, and screeches.

"Shhhh... This is your home now.," Cinder said with a gentle and comforting tone.

The Wyvern stares at her and utters a shorter, quieter screech. Cinder backs away from the window and holds her hand out to the side, creating a fireball in her palm. The sound of sparks distracts her, and she looks over her shoulder at the elevator, her fireball dissipating. After a few moments, the sparks come to a stop, and immediately upon the elevator doors' opening, Pyrrha's spear flies toward Cinder, who casually leans to her right to dodge with a smirk on her face.

The spear is soon followed by Pyrrha's shield, backed by Pyrrha herself, and Cinder puts her arms up, blocking it and pushing it away. While Cinder uses fire to hover in the air, Pyrrha calls her spear and shield back to her with polarity, staring down her opponent. Cinder gains a fiery glow around her eyes and swipes her hand through the air, attacking Pyrrha with an arc of fire. She then shoots a stream of fire, which Pyrrha dives over. Six small fireballs form in a circle behind Cinder, and she sends another streak of fire toward Pyrrha, who barely avoids it. Once again, the Maiden sends a stream of fire the young redhead's way, but this time, Pyrrha blocks it with her shield.

She leaps toward Cinder, powering through the flame, and as soon as the fire stops, she spins around and slashes Cinder's arm with her spear. However, Cinder catches the blade and pulls, turning Pyrrha around. Cinder slams her palm into Pyrrha's stomach, and fire bursts forth, blasting Pyrrha away. Pyrrha slams into a wall and falls to her hands and knees. She then stands back up and faces Cinder with determination still in her eyes. Cinder propels herself forward with flames jetting from her hands, smirking once again. She attempts to slam into Pyrrha's abdomen, but Pyrrha leaps into the air above her and wraps her arm around Cinder's. As Cinder slows to a stop, Pyrrha positions herself to place her feet on the wall behind her and pushes off, flipping herself over Cinder. She uses the momentum to flip and toss Cinder across the floor.

Cinder lands on her front and, as she slides, she pushes off the floor to get back on her feet and perform a back-handspring. Her smirk turns into a look of slight concern upon the sight of Pyrrha charging forward to slam her shield into Cinder's abdomen and push her over. As Cinder stumbles backwards, Pyrrha hits Cinder's right hand with the blunt end of her spear, then slashes Cinder's left hand with the spear's blade. She then spins around and slashes across Cinder's abdomen and legs.

Pyrrha spins around to attack again, but Cinder performs a backflip whilst kicking Pyrrha, with flames trailing behind her foot. The kick knocks Pyrrha into the air, and Pyrrha quickly rights herself. She flips her spear in her grip, holds it back, and then tosses it toward Cinder while firing the gun mechanism. Six fireballs appear around Cinder again, but they dissipate when Cinder backhands the spear away. Pyrrha's shield then flies toward her, and she hits it away, as well. After being momentarily distracted by the shield, Cinder returns her attention to Pyrrha and gains a look of slight surprise, then annoyance.

Pyrrha launches herself toward Cinder and puts her arms around her, tackling her. The two turn each other in mid-air, fighting to be the one on top. Upon their landing, the room fills with a white cloud. When the dust settles, Pyrrha has Cinder in a choke hold, and Cinder is barely managing to hold Pyrrha's spear away from her neck. The Wyvern flies away, and Cinder's eyes begin glowing as she applies heat to the spear in her hands. Her grip tightens as she heats the spear more and more, staring over her shoulder at Pyrrha.

Upon hearing a loud screech, Cinder turns her gaze ahead and smirks, while Pyrrha gains a look of fear. While Pyrrha sets her focus on the Wyvern that is flying toward the tower, Cinder finally snaps the spear's melted blade into pieces. Just before the Wyvern slams its wing into the roof of Ozpin's office, Cinder elbows Pyrrha in the abdomen. The room fills with a green glow as the windows shatter and Pyrrha goes flying across the room. Giant cogs and debris come crashing down in the office, and the structure containing the CCT's transmitter falls to the ground outside, in pieces.

Pyrrha crawls toward her shield, while Cinder watches on from her position levitating off the floor with flame jetting from her feet. While looking for a way to distract Cinder, Pyrrha notices Ozpin's collapsed metal desk and uses her polarity to throw it at the corrupt Maiden, knocking her to the floor. She then quickly grabs her shield and rolls across the floor, sitting up on her knees and holding the shield up. With a burst of flame, Cinder throws the desk off of herself and levitates in the air.

Pyrrha rolls out of the way of two streams of fire that Cinder sends her way and attempts to block a third. However, the force of the third sends Pyrrha tumbling backward, and the floor momentarily catches fire while Pyrrha rolls to her feet. From behind the wall of flame, Pyrrha throws her shield at Cinder, who confidently backhands it away. She then looks up in surprise to see a multitude of giant cogs floating in the air around her. Using her polarity, Pyrrha directs her shield to knock Cinder's feet from beneath her and then slams a cog down on Cinder's abdomen to pin her to the floor.

She calls her shield back to her arm, then brings the cogs together into a pile on top of Cinder. However, Cinder blasts them away with a powerful burst of fire, sending them in all directions. One of the cogs flies toward Pyrrha, who raises her shield to block, in vain. The force of the impact slams her into the remains of a wall, taking away the last of her Aura.

Nearby with Ruby, Odyn, and Weiss...

The trio are fighting off Grimm, as quickly as they can. Odyn takes out the last of the Grimm as flexes his arms, creating a dome of wind that blows away the one remaining.

"We've gotta hurry!," Ruby said.

Weiss looks around for a moment, before casting a series of glyphs up the side of the tower.

"You can do this.," Weiss said.

"I'll meet you at the top, okay?," Odyn said.

Ruby nodded.

Ruby runs forward, then uses her Semblance to propel herself up to the first glyph. She then sprints up the wall, the glyphs propelling her forward and keeping her from falling off.

With Pyrrha at the top of the tower....

Cinder forms an obsidian bow in her hand. As she raises it up and draws back an obsidian arrow, Pyrrha charges forward, spins, and throws her shield at her. Cinder looses the arrow, which shatters upon impact with the side of the shield. However, as the fragments part ways above and below the shield, they glow orange and rejoin each other on the other side. The fragments melt into each other and cool into the shape of an arrow, which continues on its path directly into Pyrrha's ankle.

She slumps in pain. Pyrrha tried standing to her feet, but the pain was apparently too much to handle. Both ends of the arrow break off, making removal impossible. She turns over onto her hands and knees as Cinder moves to stand in front of her.

Pyrrha pulls up and away from the villainess,  matching her stare.

"Do... you believe in destiny?," Pyrrha asked.

Cinder frowns and narrows her eyes as she answers.

"Yes.," Cinder replied.

Cinder stands back up and forms an obsidian bow and arrow again. She pulls back the arrow, lowering the bow to aim at her weakened opponent. Nearby, Ruby finally reaches the top of the tower, landing in a kneeling position. She looks upon the scene, seeing Pyrrha sitting with her eyes closed, accepting the fate that awaits her. Cinder looses the arrow, which plants itself directly in the center of Pyrrha's chest. Ruby watches in horror as Pyrrha gasps in pain, the wound in her chest emitting a red glow. Cinder approaches her fallen foe and places a hand on Pyrrha's head, using her Maiden powers to flash incinerate her... or so she thought. Pyrrha's hand then grabbed Cinder's as she began to crush it.

Not noticing this, cinder thinks she's killed Pyrrha before beginning to gloat.

"Don't worry, I'll use these powers better than you ever could.," Cinder gloated before feeling her hand being grabbed.

She hears chuckling before realizing the body hasn't disappeared.

"Nice speech there, witch. But don't assume you've won that easily!," A voice said.

Cinder yelped in surprise as she is kicked in the stomach and sent skidding back. The villainess' eyes widened in shock at home the body she just incinerated was still standing. That was before she noticed a golden glow around the girl. And the eyes... they'd changed to a fiery orange like.. the sun.

"H-How are you- wait... no... Those eyes! Who... who are you?!," Cinder asked shocked.

The ornaments around Pyrrha's hair fell to the floor as her hair was now longer. Her skin darkened and her ears lengthened.

"I'm surprised you've forgotten me, the one you killed all those years ago. Of course.. it has been 4 years since then, Cinder Fall.," The voice spoke.

Cinder's eyes widened in horror.

"No... it can't be.. how.. HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!," Cinder shouted.

What looked to be small tattoo pattern appeared on her forehead as the ground shook and the golden light surround Pyrrha erupted towards the sky.



The ost the plays in the background of this clip from black clover is what is playing when the scene in this story plays out. (Clip from Black clover episode 96 i believe)

The camera cuts to different parts of Vale, where all of the students notice golden lights surrounding the elve. Those lights then erupt skyward as the earth begins to shake.

"What the-?! H-Hailfire, what's going on?," Neptune asked with the others.

Hailfire looks skyward and smiles.

"Ah... So it's begun then.," Hailfire said.

The camera pans to different parts of the city in which Elves are surround by the golden light. It even pans to Odyn who is also surrounded by the golden light, which surprises and confuses Weiss.

"O-Odyn? Would you care to tell me what is happening?," Weiss demanded.

Odyn looked to her.

"Simple. It seems the reincarnation spell has now activated. My sister has returned to us. The spell just strengthens us other elves and unseals are true abilities.," Odyn said looking towards the top of the tower.

"So.. in other words, you're even stronger now?!," Weiss asked.

Odyn nodded.

"Stay here, Weiss. I'll check on Ruby.," Odyn said as he rocketed to the top of the tower.

Weiss turned and saw lights from all over the city stretching skyward.

"What... is happening now?," she wondered.

Top of the tower...

Within the mind of Pyrrha, she felt herself floating until Sarai spoke.

"Pyrrha!," Sarai said.

Pyrrha opened her eyes and saw the dark elf.

"S-Sarai...?," Pyrrha replied weakly.

"Oh! Thank, Udiya!," Sarai said relieved.

"I.. died, didn't I?," Pyrrha asked.

Sarai shook her head.

"No. You're not dead, yet. I took over your body just before that woman could finish you off. But.. you don't have much time left before I fully reincarnate.," Sarai said.

"I see... so you did use it.," Pyrrha replied.

"Yes... I did. Once our souls become one, we'll be the same person. It... was the only chance I had to save you.," Sarai said.

Pyrrha weakly smiled.

"Thank you, my friend.," Pyrrha said.

"You're welcome, my sister. Now.. just rest until we fuse. Let me take care of the rest from here.," Sarai said.

"Al.. right. I'll do that. I'm feeling... a bit.. sleepy.," Pyrrha said before her consciousness went into slumber.

Once the light died down, there stood Pyrrha or rather... Sarai now as her appearance had now changed. She now wore silver and golden elven armor, with the top remaining from Pyrrha's outfit, but she now had her traditional elven blade and a shield, a blue cape now fluttered from her back, and her chest was now covered with a sliver breastplate with the ignsignia of the Albanar Tribe. Two flaming swords crossing over a shield within a single ember of fire adorned her chestplate. She opened her eyes to reveal eyes of fiery orange that glared back at Cinder.

"You're...," Cinder started.

Sarai nodded.

"The princess of the dark elven tribe of Albanar... Sarai Albanar.," Sarai said.

Cinder involuntarily took a step back, she could feel the crazy amount of power this girl possessed. It.. was far greater than the girl she fought before. Sarai chuckled.

"Come now, fall maiden, surely you didn't think humans were the only ones capable of using magic did you?," Sarai said.

Ruby felt tears stream down her cheeks as she then cried.

"PYRRHA!!," Ruby cried.

Ruby clenches her fists, curls her arms to her body, and then suddenly flings her arms out to the sides, beginning to levitate slightly off the ground. Brilliant white light flows from her eyes as she screams out the name of her dear friend.

The white light envelopes her, spreading out to the Wyvern and Cinder. The light fades as Odyn is seen by her side as he then walks forward glaring at the fall maiden.

He looks and smiles at Sarai.

"Glad to have you back, little sis.," Odyn said.

He faced forward his sword now out.

"We.. can talk later, dear brother. Right now, she needs to be dealt with.," Sarai said.



Insert: Tales of Arise vs Kisara ost (this will be Sarai's theme for this fight against Cinder)

Both brother and Sister than charged at the corrupt maiden. Sarai bringing out her shield and unsheathing her elven blade. Cinder struggled to stand after Ruby's display. She summoned her obsidian bow only to retract it upon seeing what appeared to be the head of a lion coming at her.

"BEAST ASSAULT!," Sarai shouted.

The lion head than crashed into the maiden sending her reeling. She got to her feet and prepared to cast an arc of fire balls at Sarai, only to get blindsided by Odyn.

" Pay attention, witch!," Odyn snapped as he sucker punched her her in the jaw.

As Cinder hopped away to rebalance herself, she was rammed in the head by Sarai's shield.

"TAKE THIS! GUARDIAN BATTERING RAM!," Sarai shouted sending the maiden flying again.

Cinder was getting frustrated, how was she losing to these two?

She slammed her palm on the floor creating ice to slow down the two. Odyn tossed his sword into the air and slammed his fist onto the roof shattering the ice and blowing cinder back. After getting up, he caught his sword. Brother and sister then rushed the maiden with a series of quick attacks, further flustering her.

"AZURE DEMON STORM!," Odyn cried swinging his blade.

Two waves of blue energy assaulted Cinder, breaking her defense before the third wave hit her in the stomach, leaving her open to Sarai's attack.

Sarai's sword then transformed into a battle axe as her shield shrunk back onto her gauntlet.

"INCINERATION BLADE!," Sarai cried as she swung her axe.

What followed was a torrent of flames that burned Cinder after shattering her defense before out of nowhere another blade stabbed her in the leg. Sarai then shesthed her blade and rocketed towards Cinder, kicking her in the face. This left her open for both Elves to attack.

Sarai rushed in and slashed her, followed by Odyn, the two repated this sequence untilnit seemed that Cinder was being slashed from every single angle.

"Curse your own fate for anger those who weren't meant to be disturbed..."

"Pray to what lever false gods you worship to spare you of the torment you are now to suffer.."

"For we carve wounds into your flesh that are never to heal.."

"And we crush our enemies to nothing....!"

"DIVINE TWIN BEAST FURY!," Both siblings cried.

As the sheathed their blades, Cinder dropped to the floor bleeding and scarred. Cinder tried standing to her feet to launch another attack but suddenly felt something in her stomach. It was... a Blade of Light, courtesy of Odyn.

The blade fadedas he walked to the maiden, grabbing her head like he was trying to crush her skull.

"Give your master this message for me. You had better be prepared, because we haven't forgotten what you've done to us. The rage of an entire race is now headed towards you, Salem! We're coming for your head.," Odyn said.

Sarai went over and picked up Pyrrha's circlet, and then made her way over to Ruby. She picked her up bridal style before floating into the air, knowing what her brother was about to do.

Odyn let go of Cinder's head before bringing his fist down onto her stomach, slamming her into the roof. The imapact caused a crater to form before the tower cracked and ultimately collapsed due to the power behind the dark elf's blow. An enormous explosion of light then enveloped the screen, turning everything white.

The screen goes white, with a whistle noise playing for several seconds. A pair of voices echo from nearby.

Qrow came and saw what happened, having no words for such destruction.

He saw Odyn carrying Ruby, bridal style as the dark elf descended.

"Is she alright, kid?," He asked Odyn.

Odyn nodded.

"Yes, she's fine.," Odyn said.

"I'd better go brother. I need to let Pyrrha's team know what just transpired.," Sarai said.

Odyn nodded.

"I'll see you later, then little sis.," Odyn replied.

Sarai nodded before rocketing back towards the others.

Pause. Radio static can be heard in the background.

"(Sighs) Nothing.," A voice said nearby.

"Just turn it off, Tai. Without the CCT, there's no point in trying.," Qrow said.

"Communication down across the entire Kingdom, no way to contact the outside world... and Ozpin's still missing.," Taiyang said before spotting Odyn with Ruby in his arms.

"Yeah..," Qrow said.

"This is bad, Qrow.," Taiyang said.

"Yeah.. That's an understatement,  Tai. This is so far beyond Bad.," Qrow said in agreement.

Meanwhile with Roy....

After duking it out with the faunus until his power as an elf was unsealed, it was mostly a stalemate.

Not now, however. Before Adam could blink, he'd lost an arm to Roy who was now covered in lightning.

Adam knelt, trying to catch his breath as he stared at the dark elf who now looked down on him.

"I'm warning you, Faunus. For your own sake, leave. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee you'll leave with your life.," Roy said.

"Gr!! Why would you get in the way of my reunion with my love?," He asked.

"If you're talking about Blake, it's because you harmed someone precious to me, Taurus. Leave, or I will kill you.," Roy said.

"Please, you can't possibly-," He started but was cut short when a lightning spell just barely missed his horn.

Adam looked behind him to see the wall was incinerated and he became pale as a ghost.

"Tch! If you don't run, I can guarantee the next one won't miss.," Roy said glaring at the faunus.

Adam knew he was beaten. This guy... this elf, he was way to powerful for him to defeat right now. Adam then excused himself as he used his sword to walk, compensating for his missing limb.

Roy then calmed himself as he sheathed his sword and picked up the severed limb. This could be useful, it could even help Yang. She'd no doubt be tramatized by losing an arm. He looked to the skies before deciding to walk back to the others.

"May as well head back now.," Roy said as he used his lightning covered body to travel back to the docks.

As the last of the Elves all gathered at the beacon docks, Khanna had finally reunited with Mercury.

The others saw Ruby and became worried.

"How is she?," Nora asked.

" She'll be fine.," Odyn said.

They all watched the sky and were saddened at what they saw, Vale... was being overrun by Grimm. How long coukd they continue to fight the Grimm if they kept coming? That was a question they were unsure of.

Ren came forward, noticing Sarai. Nora and Jaune did as well.

"Um.. excuse me?," Jaune asked.

Sarai turned towards Jaune, her smile disappeared.

"Where's Pyrrha?," He asked.

Sarai sighed. This... wouldn't be easy to say.

She looked towards Odyn, who nodded. Sarai then excused herself to talk with the rest of Pyrrha's teammates.

"So, where is she?," Nora asked.

Sarai spoke, allbeit with some difficulty knowing how hard the news would hit her teammates.

"What I have to say regarding Pyrrha... isn't easy for me to say. But before that, Ren, Nora, you two deserve to know something.," Sarai said.

The two looked confused while Jaune looked down, knowing what this news regarding Pyrrha probably was.

"First off.. while I may seem similar in appearance to your teammate, know that i am not her at the same time. Pyrrha and I are fundamentally the same person.," Sarai said.

"What's that mean?," Nora asked.

"Simply put, I am the other soul who existed inside of Pyrrha. I am Sarai. Sarai Albanar.," Sarai introduced herself.

"Oh. So you were the one helping Pyrrha out sometimes. Nice to meet you, Sarai.," Nora said.

"Albanar? Are you by chance related to Odyn and Roy?," Ren asked.

Sarai nodded.

" I am. I can see you know my older brothers quite well.," Sarai replied.

"Ha ha your brothers.. that's a good one! If they're your brothers than that would mean... 😅😨😱 YOU'RE THE PRINCESS?!," Nora said in realization.

Sarai nodded.

"O-oh p-please forgive me your highn-" Nora started before Sarai cut her short.

"Nora, Ren, please don't call me that. Just refer to me by name, like you do with my brothers. I would appreciate that.," Sarai told them.

The duo nodded, giving way to Jaune.

"Sarai. Pyrrha.. is she.. alright?," Jaune asked.

Sarai closed her eyes and felt for Pyrrha within her mind. She found her, but she was still weak. That meant she didn't have much time left.

"Yes. Thankfully, Pyrrha's.. alright.," Sarai said.

This brought relief to JNR, but only briefly before Sarai spoke again.

"But.. She's very weak right now. What Cinder did to her, greatly endangered her life.," Sarai revealed.

This worried them again.

"Meaning...?," Ren asked.

Sarai sighed again.

"She doesn't have much time left.," Sarai revealed sadly.

Jaune's eyes widened.

"What? But, I thought you saved her!," he said upset.

Sarai's eyes softened as she put her hands onto Jaune's.

It was silent for awhile before Sarai spoke again.

"That said... there is a way that I can save her.,"Sarai said.

"Really?!," Nora asked.

"Our two souls would have to merge together. Essentially we'd  have to..," Sarai began before Jaune finshed her thought.

"Become one person, right?,Jaune asked finishing the thought.

Sarai nodded. It seems Jaune did understand what she was speaking of.

"I understand the logic behind that. But wouldn't that also mean Pyrrha would no longer be her own person anymore?," Ren thought aloud.

Sarai smiled sadly.

"Yes, you are right Ren. Which is why I had told Pyrrha that this was as a last resort and there was no going back from this.," Sarai said.

This shocked JNR, but also made them sad. They'd be gaining a teammate in Sarai, but at the cost of losing one in Pyrrha.  Ren spoke up gaining the dark elf's attention.

"How would... you go about this um... fusion of souls as you put it?," Ren asked.

"Well, the first requirement was that I would have to fully reincarnate into Pyrrha's body. That step is nearly complete. The only thing left is to settle any lingering regrets she may have by talking to you, her teammates.," Sarai said.

"Lingering.. regrets?," Nora asked.

Sarai nodded.

"One regret Pyrrha has was that she never got the chance to say anything to her friends before becoming like this.," Sarai explained.

Nora then stepped up first and began to talk to Sarai as if she were Pyrrha.

"Uh... hey there Pyrrha. I'm sorry we weren't there at the end when you needed us. Um.. this is kinda awkward, but uh... I hope you'll at least remember us in the future.," Nora said.

She stepped away but immediately became teary eyed. She was essentially saying goodbye to Pyrrha and it was rather said for her. Next came Ren.

"I wish you the best of luck, Pyrrha.  I'm... ashamed that we couldn't really help you in the end. This isn't farewell, it's just a see you later. I know you'll still be right there with us.," Ren said as he stepped away.

Lastly, it was Jaune's turn as Ren comforted a crying Pyrrha. 

"Pyrrha... I..," Started before he felt Sarai wrap her arms around him.

He felt as though Pyrrha was hugging him.

"It's alright... Jaune. You don't have to say anything. I know.. how you must have felt, especially after... that.," He heard Pyrrha's voice tell him in his mind.

In his mind scape it was a white void  as he faced Pyrrha before she floated to be in front of him. He felt his face flush red as well as hers as Pyrrha looked away from him embarrassed.

Pyrrha's projection in his mind spoke up again, still blushing as she smiled.

"B-But I'm glad I was able to convey  how I felt about you, Jaune.," Pyrrha said grinning.

"Why.. Pyrrha? Just when I finally learn what's happening, you're leaving?," Jaune asked frustrated and crying.

Pyrrha cupped his face as she gently smiled at him.

"I have to Jaune. If I don't do this, I really will die. And.. I doubt you want that. This way, I can keep an eye on you all. Even if I may  physically be another person now, I'll still be your Pyrrha.," Pyrrha said.

Jaune just cried before Pyrrha lifted his face towards her again.

"Please Jaune... try to get along with Sarai. It may not seem like it right now, but she cares about you alot too. My feelings about you are now going to be hers. I asked her to take care of you for this very reason.," Pyrrha told him.

"Ill.. try, Pyrrha. ," Jaune said.

Pyrrha then planted a kiss on Jaune's forehead as she then floated away from him.

"Please... for me Jaune, do your best.," Pyrrha said still floating away.

Jaune still had tears in his eyes as he smiled.

"I.. I will, Pyrrha! I promise that I'll do my best to get along with the new you!," Jaune said.

Pyrrha then finished her ascent as she became a blinding light, escorting Jaune out of the mindscape.

Jaune lifted his head and wiped the tears from his eyes as he smiled. He asked Sarai if Pyrrha had fused with her now.

"Did you tell her what you needed to, Jaune?," Sarai asked.

Jaune nodded.

"Yeah... I did. Has she merged with you now, Sarai?," Jaune asked.

Sarai briefly glowed for a moment as she closed her eyes. She put a hand to her chestplate and felt for Pyrrha's energy. Smiling in content, she then nodded.

"Yes... Pyrrha Nikos and Myself are now and irrevocably the same being. She.. has been spared of a fate not meant for her.," Sarai said.

The dark elf then looked to Jaune, handing him Pyrrha's circlet.

"I.. believe she'd want you to have this Jaune.," Sarai said.

Jaune then took the circlet and nodded.

"Thank you ,Pyrr- I mean , Sarai.," He said correcting himself.

Sarai giggled.

It's alright, Jaune. You can call me, Pyrrha if you want. We are the same person now.," Sarai laughed.

Sarai looked to Nora and Ren.

"What will you two do?," Sarai asked.

"We'll probably return home for a bit, since Beacon is... not here anymore.," Ren said.

"What about you, Sarai?," Nora asked.

She looked to Jaune.

"I think... I'll stick with Jaune for awhile. I need to train him in Pyrrha's absence.," Sarai said.

The group then walked back towards Odyn and Roy who had just arrived.

"What will you guys do?," Sun asked.

"I think myself and Roy will take Ruby and Yang back to their home. They'll need some good ol'  R and R (R&R) to recover from this one.," Odyn replied.

"And no better place to do that, than their own home island.," Roy added.

"What about you, Sun?," Sarai asked.

"Hm... think I'll tag along with Shallot and Jinjer here and follow after Blake. She's not in the best headspace right now, Someone's gotta snap her put of it.," Sun asked.

"I see... so she really did run away.," Baron said as he joined the group.

"Unfortunately,  yeah. That's exactly what happened.," Beat added walking up with Note, Khanna, Mercury, and the others. 

"Poor girl, still blames herself for what happened to Yang.," Khanna said.

"What will you all do?," Neptune asked.

"Well...," Flare started.

Time skip: Island of Patch- 3 weeks later....

The scene cuts to Ruby asleep in an unfamiliar bed, wearing gray pajamas. Birds are tweeting and sunlight is streaming onto the wall behind the bed's headboard. After a few seconds, she wakes up and looks over to see her father asleep in a chair. She sits up and sighs quietly, causing Taiyang to stir awake.

"Ruby! You're awake!," Taiyang said as he gets up and runs to the side of her bed.

Ruby was seen to be holding her head as she sat up.

"Unh... Ugh.. my head! What happened?," Ruby said holding her head.

"Your Uncle and your boyfriend found you unconscious. They got you put of there though, and brought you home safe.," Taiyang answered.

"Wait... boyfriend?," Ruby asked with her mind still fuzzy.

"Yes. The young man who you introduced me to just before the vytal tournament?," Taiyang answered.

That's when Ruby's mind finally caught up as she saw a flash of Odyn within her mind. She turned as a rather familiar voice, the voice of her boyfriend sounded at the door way to her room.

"Hey there, Ruby. You doing alright?," Odyn asked.

Ruby smiled.

"Odyn!," Ruby said with a smile.

"Wait! Yang! Is she alright!?,"Ruby asked her father.

Taiyang hesitantly answered her.

"Uh... She's uh... she's gonna be alright. I think she's just... I think it's just gonna take some time for her to get used to things. She's too strong to let this stop her. " Taiyang said before he covers his eyes for a moment and sniffles, before looking up with a smile and continuing.

"I'm just glad to have my girls, back at home.," Taiyang said relieved.

"What happened to the School, Dad? We're they able to clear out the Grimm?," Ruby asked a little worried.

"Things at Vale are under control, but the school... It's... it's not that simple. That thing, whatever it is, doesn't seem to be dead. Don't get me wrong, you did a number on it. But it's not disappearing. It's... kind of... frozen. I know that doesn't sound too bad, but it keeps attracting more Grimm to the school.," Taiyang answered.

Ruby was confused.

" I did... what?," Ruby asked tilting her head in confusion as visible question marks appeared above her head.

"Hmm?," Taiyang replied.

Ruby spoke up again.

"Back up, Dad. You said I did a number on it. What do you mean by that?," Ruby asked confused.

Taiyang was seen to be sweating nervously as he answered his youngest daughter.

"I... Look that's not important right now. We can talk about it later. Things are just... kind of a mess.," Taiyang replied.

They hear a big sigh from the doorway as Qrow is seen to be finishing off his flask of whiskey.

"It's always a mess.," Qrow said shaking his head.

Ruby and Taiyang look to see Qrow suddenly standing in the room, near the door. He continues.

"Mind if we have a minute?," Qrow asked.

"What, I can't stay?!," Taiyang asked offended.

"Tai, please.," Qrow said crossing his arms.

They hear footsteps as Roy then comes to the door.

"There you are mr Xiao Long! Yang knocked over her water again. You think you could me get some more for her?," Roy said.

Taiyang sighed.

"Sure thing. Just give me a second and I'll be right there, Roy.," Taiyang replied.

Taiyang stands up, sighs, and then leans in to kiss Ruby on the forehead.

"I have to go help Roy with something first. After that, I'll make us some tea. I'm glad you're alright, Ruby.," Taiyang said as he then follows Roy out of the room.

Qrow looks to Odyn.

"I'll just be a minute, kid. After that, she's all yours.," Qrow said.

Odyn chuckled at him.

"Relax, Qrow I'm nit going anywhere.  Take your time, Ruby's your family after all. I can wait.," Odyn said chuckling.

Qrow smirked at him.

"Thanks, kid. You know... you're alright.," Qrow said walking past him as he dragged a chair towards Ruby's bedside.

As Qrow approaches Ruby's bed, he grabs the chair and drags it with him. He then spins it around to face the bed and sits in it with a significant slouch, crossing one leg over the other.

"So, how are you feeling?," Qrow asked.

"Um... I kind of hurt... all over.," Ruby answered honestly.

Qrow chuckled as he spoke again.

"That makes sense, after what you did.," Qrow said crossing his arms.

"You guys keep saying that! That I did something! What are you talking about?!," Ruby answered frustrated.

Qrow uncrossed his arms and legs, now opting to lean forward in the chair.

"Alright then, tell me. What's the last thing you remember?," Qrow asked.

Ruby thought about the question.

"I ran up the side of the tower, and when I got to the top, I... saw golden light? It was weird. Odyn had it around him too... (she then gasps in sadness as she remembered her friend) Pyrrha! Is she...?," Ruby replied.

Qrow shook hus head.

"She's.. gone.," Qrow answered.

"Just... as you know her Ruby.," Odyn answered from the doorway.

"Huh? What does that mean?," Ruby asked.

"The kid's right. It would seem that in order to save her life from completely fading, Odyn's sister fully assimilated with Pyrrha.," Qrow answered.

Ruby raised a confused eyebrow.

"Meaning...?," She asked puzzled.

"In other words, she and Pyrrha became one person.," Qrow explained.

"So Pyrrha is Odyn's sister now?," Ruby asked.

"In... a manner of speaking, yes she is.," Qrow said.

"She does have a name you know, it's Sarai.," Odyn said from the doorway.

Qrow looked back and laughed nervously.

"Oh 😅, right right. Sorry.," Qrow said nervous.

Ruby answered as she tried holding back the tears.

"I... I... I got to the top... (she begins to cry) and I saw Pyrrha... (Odyn walks over and dries her tears before walking back to stand in the doorway) and Cinder... (She has an angry look on her face as tears fall to the blanket as she grips it) and then poof! Everything went white!," Ruby said finishing.

"Anything else?," Qrow asked.

Ruby wipes away her tears as he answers her uncle's question.

"I... remember my head hurting.," Ruby answered.

"The night you met Ozpin, what was the first thing he said to you?," Qrow asked.

"I... I don't know. I think it was something about..." Ruby trailed off when Qrow finished her sentence.

"Silver Eyes. That's an extremely rare trait.," Qrow said.

"So?," Ruby said not understanding fully what Qrow was talking about.

"You're special, Ruby. And not in the "Daddy loves his special angel" kind of way. You're special the same way your mom was. Remnant's full of legends and stories, some of them true, some made up. But there's one Oz told me from a very long time ago. Back before Huntsmen, before Kingdoms, it was said that those born with silver eyes were destined to lead the life of a warrior. You see, the creatures of Grimm, the most fearsome monsters mankind had ever encountered, were afraid of those silver-eyed warriors. They were the best of the best. It was said that even a single look from one of these fighters could strike a Grimm down. Heh. It's a ridiculous story.," Qrow explained to her.

Ruby's eyes widened as she now understood.

"But... you think that I might be...," Ruby trailed off in realization.

"Well a Giant Monster is currently frozen where Beacon Tower once stood. And you're here, safe in bed.," Qrow said.

He gets to his feet and walks over to a window, leaning on the sill and staring outside.

"Wait, wait, how did you know what Ozpin said to me... the night we met?," Ruby asked.

Qrow turned to her as he answered his niece.

"All those missions I go on... all the times I'm away in some far-off place... it's been for Ozpin. But he's missing now. Something's been set in motion. With Oz gone, I'll have to pick up where he left off....," Qrow said.

"Then what can I do? If I'm so special, then I can help, right?," Ruby asked.

"You really wanna help? Get some rest. You're in no condition to go anywhere right now. (He then walks towards the door) Besides, our enemy's trail leads all the way to Haven. That'd be quite a trip for a pipsqueak like you. (He winks at her)  Later, kiddo.," He said before tapping Odyn on the shoulder.

"She's all yours now, kid. Plus I think you may need to fill her in on what happened after.," Qrow said walking away.

Odyn chuckled before he walked into the room and took Qrow's spot on the chair by Ruby's bedside.

Ruby smiled as she sees her boyfriend in front of her.

"Odyn, I... can help, right?," Ruby asked.

"Yeah, you can little rose.," He said.

The dark elf felt her forehead.

"Hmm... you're still a little warm though. Best to rest while you can. Then we can tslk about you helping track down the enemy.," Odyn said.

Ruby slightly pouted, but relented. This was Odyn suggesting she rested, so she would listen this time.

"Okay, fine...," Ruby said before looking at Odyn.

The dark elf chuckled, knowing what his girlfriend wanted. He sat on the bed and allowed Ruby to wrap her arms around his neck. She then closed her eyes as she then pulled Odyn in for a long, but tender kiss as the couple's lips met. Odyn and Ruby then separated as they both needed to breathe. 

"I... still am not used to how aggressive you are when it's just the two us, Ruby.," Odyn said with his face flushed.

"Well, you're the one I can show this side of myself to Odyn.," Ruby replied.

She had him there. The girl then looked to her boyfriend with a more serious look.

"Odyn... Can you tell me what happened after I fell unconscious?," Ruby asked.

Odyn sighed, he knew she'd ask that.

"Very well, Ruby. But you may want to get comfortable. This... will take awhile to explain.," Odyn told her.

As Odyn begins to explain the events of the last 3 weeks, the camera pans up above the small house into the sunset as the screen then fades to black.

Ending:

Ending theme: Dragon ball z Kai (2014) ending 3 Dear Zaruthstra

Visuals: It shows quick panels of each of the cast so far, ranging from Odyn and his team to Rwby, JNPR, KDBNB, and even now to GSSJ. Are shown lying down on the ground as Beacon is in Flames while they struggle to to stand. They eventually do stand as the cast walks forward with each of their portraits displaying them in a fight of some kind with either Grimm or in the case of Odyn against Cinder. Roy is seen to be fighting against Adam with Blake and Yang. Hailfire's portrait shows her with the other students,fighting off Grimm, while Khanna's shows her and the elven army. The song ends as the cast is shown to be fighting Cinder and the Grimm.

Hoo boy that was a doozy! To write! I figured Odyn's explanation to Ruby of what transpired after she fell unconscious was as good of a point as any to end the chapter at. If you guys noticed i mixed in some attacks from the tales of series although I just alternated the names and quotes during the artes and mystic artes lol

I envision the devils/demons coming into the story during the flashback of Odyn's retelling of the events surrounding the Fall of Beacon. They won't be coming in like you'd expect. As for why Cardin and CRDL wasn't mentioned in the chapter... we'll let's just say I have something planned for them. If you thought the Cinder fight against Odyn and Sarai (Pyrrha) was lazy, sorry. Byt the point was for them to proove to her just how much stronger they were.

Plus, she had it coming for awhile anyways. I figured some bonding between some of the pairings was in order. But they'll get their own development as the story progresses. Since next chapter is a bit of a recap chapter, it may be quite a bit shorter than this one. Next chapter will cap off Volume 3 of the Rwby story. And like I said, I didn't kill Pyrrha per se, she just fused with Sarai so she could survive.
