Chapter 478: Masabi's Onslaught

The creature's head twitched, its eyes narrowing with anger and confusion. "So who is it? The Vampires? The Shinigamis? Or another universe?" Masabi pressed.

The creature's vision blurred, the surreal nature of its predicament making it hard to focus. The voice grew more insistent. "Come on, speak up. Tell me, who's pulling the strings?"

"L-Like I would ever tell you anything, you damned bastard!" the creature spat defiantly.

Suddenly, Masabi felt a cold touch on his back before being hurled against the wall. The severed body of the creature had clinched its insect-like hand, delivering a powerful blow.

Masabi rebounded off the wall, landing on his feet with a thud. Another large creature entered the room, its mocking laughter filling the space. "Losing your head, huh, Kifku?"

"You shouldn't make it a habit of telling our names to the Angelic bastards," the new creature chided. "Not that it matters since we will kill this one."

"Yeah, and if worse comes to worst, we just send him away like the other girl for the boy to handle. This way, the boy has time to clean up the mess," it added with a sinister grin.

Masabi stood up, retaking his stance as the creature reattached its head. The green energy around him flared up again, casting a bright, eerie light.

"Two on one. Now that's more fair for something like this," Masabi stated, his voice steady and confident. "After I kill you, I will take your bodies back for memory exams."

With a burst of speed, Masabi launched himself off the ground, aiming straight for the insect creature's head. His movements were a blur, and the green energy trailed behind him like a comet.

The insect creature tried to react, but Masabi's attack was too fast. He closed the distance in an instant, his fist connecting with the creature's head with a resounding crack. The force of the blow sent shockwaves through the room, and the green energy exploded outward, engulfing both creatures in its light.

Masabi contorted his body and flipped backward, creating space as the insect creature went flying into the arms of the bigger creature as it quickly reformed and fixed its severed neck.

The bigger creature chuckled and stated, "So the Angelics really sent a heavy hitter, huh? Well, let's weaken him down!"

Masabi's green energy flared brightly, illuminating the room with an ethereal glow. He dashed forward with blinding speed, closing the distance between him and the insect creature in an instant. His fist connected with a resounding crack, sending the creature reeling backward.

Masabi didn't let up; he followed through with a series of swift, powerful punches, each one accompanied by a burst of green light.

The insect creature struggled to keep up, its movements sluggish compared to Masabi's relentless assault. Masabi's strikes were precise, each one aimed at a critical point. He drove his knee into the creature's abdomen, doubling it over, then spun around to deliver a crushing elbow to its back.

The force of the blow sent the creature sprawling across the floor, skidding to a halt at the feet of the larger creature.

The larger creature snarled and lunged at Masabi, swinging its massive fists. But Masabi was ready. He dodged the first swing, the wind from the punch ruffling his hair, and countered with a powerful uppercut that lifted the creature off its feet.

Before it could recover, Masabi grabbed its arm and twisted, the sound of cracking bones echoing through the room. The creature howled in pain, but Masabi silenced it with a kick to the jaw, sending it crashing into the wall.

Masabi's green energy continued to swirl around him, creating an almost tangible aura of power. He turned his attention back to the insect creature, which was struggling to rise. With a swift motion, he closed the gap and slammed his fist into its head, the impact shattering the floor beneath them.

The creature's eyes rolled back, and it collapsed, its body twitching.

The larger creature, enraged by the sight of its fallen comrade, roared and charged at Masabi. But Masabi met its charge head-on, his green energy flaring even brighter.

He ducked under a wild swing and delivered a devastating punch to the creature's midsection, lifting it off the ground. With a grunt of effort, he grabbed the creature by the neck and slammed it into the ground, creating a crater from the impact.

Masabi moved like a force of nature, his green energy a blur of motion as he continued to pummel the insect creature.

Each punch was a symphony of power, driving the creature further into the ground.

The air crackled with the intensity of his attacks, and the room seemed to vibrate with each impact. The insect creature tried to defend itself, its insect-like arms flailing, but it was no match for Masabi's relentless onslaught.

The larger creature, seeing its comrade being decimated, charged at Masabi with a roar of rage. Masabi sidestepped the clumsy attack with ease, countering with a brutal kick to the creature's knee, causing it to buckle.

He followed up with an elbow to the back of its head, sending it crashing to the floor. The creature groaned in pain, struggling to stand as Masabi turned his attention back to the insect creature, delivering a final, devastating blow that left it motionless.

Breathing heavily, Masabi glanced at the larger creature, which was slowly getting back on its feet. The creature's eyes burned with hatred, but there was a hint of fear behind the rage. "Super tired and almost defeated," it muttered, its voice filled with exhaustion. "I think we have stalled him enough."

With a snap of its fingers, a portal began to form, swirling with dark energy. Masabi sensed the danger and moved quickly, dodging the portal's pull and rushing towards the creature. He grabbed its hand, snapping it with a swift motion. The creature howled in pain, but Masabi silenced it by jamming a blue vial into its neck.

The liquid hissed as it entered the creature's bloodstream, its eyes widening in shock.

Ignoring the larger creature for a moment, Masabi turned back to the insect creature. He raised his fist, green energy surging around it, and brought it down with all his might. The impact was devastating, completely obliterating the insect creature. Its body disintegrated into dust, scattered by the force of the blow.
