Chapter 311: 302 Go for Broke

Su Beisi was fully aware, though he was reluctant to admit it, that the moment the Homeland Titan appeared on the battlefield, the Teizene Fleet had already lost any chance of victory. He had no idea how the Iridium Star people had managed to build such a colossal Titan-class ship, nor did he know how this warship had been hidden by the Earthlings. However, its arsenal capable of launching a multitude of weapons, combined with the beam weapons that could penetrate the shield array and destroy a main battle ship with a single shot, turned this Titan-class ship into a true god of destruction.

"All Teizene warriors, I now order you to abandon the warships, prepare your powered armor and assault pods. Even though we have lost this fleet encounter, we must fight our way to Earth, continue the battle on the ground, and make these Earthlings pay a blood price!" Su Beisi shouted.

He walked to his equipment locker and retrieved his battle suit. At this moment, his Holy Sovereign King Number was teetering on the brink of collapse. It had lost its shield and taken several hits. Even as a large main battle ship, it could explode and be destroyed at any moment.

Yet, even facing such setbacks, the Teizene had no intention of giving up the fight. Su Beisi was clear in his resolve—to bring the war to Earth.

Zero had become a combat zealot by this stage. Initially, when she took control of the Sacred Falcon, she was extremely cautious, fearing a mistake could harm Chancellor Bai Zhongqi. However, once the Sacred Falcon had merged with the Homeland Titan, Zero was entrusted by Bai Zhongqi with control over nearly a million weapons on board the Homeland Titan.

She unleashed her weapons furiously against the enemy, feeling as if all the frustration she had endured since the start of the war was now being vented. While she was thoroughly enjoying the battle, she suddenly noticed an anomaly within the Teizene Fleet.

"This is bad, a large number of pods have been released—do the Teizene still intend to attack Earth at this time?"

Bai Zhongqi didn't need much thought to understand the intentions of his princely opponent.

"He sees that this battle on the fleet side is already a lost cause, so he simply pulls all Teizene out, abandoning the warships to directly land on Earth. He probably thinks this might give them a slim chance, relying on the valor of the Teizene. However, I think this prince also understands very well that Earth's populous, even randomly assembled ground forces, wouldn't be a match for these orbital airborne landing troops."

Zero scoffed disdainfully: "The ten thousand landing pods earlier, only twenty made it through the atmosphere, and not even one reached the ground—all were shot down by our air duties fighters. Even if they throw out several hundred thousand landing pods this time, will there really be any significant difference?"

Some Teizene still manned the warships for a final resistance, as with Teizene honor and pride, they could not accept any enemy-sunken warship devoid of Teizene; every ship must have warriors who perished with it.

Bai Zhongqi now knew that victory was at hand. He sat down for the first time since the commencement of the battle, then waved his finger and ordered, "Switch weapon platforms to anti-air mode, primarily intercept enemy pods entering the atmosphere. All warships should continue to focus on enemy warships as primary targets."

The automated capability of Teizene warships was low, and to cover their landing troops, these warships couldn't just stop unmanned. However, those controlling the warships were undoubtedly doomed. Of course, the Teizenes who jumped directly from orbit, trying to cross the atmosphere to the surface of Earth, also had no chance of surviving.

Bai Zhongqi had to admit that the Teizene civilization was indeed a worthy opponent deserving some respect. Their schemes were endless and had even successfully trapped the Star Alliance. Their will to fight was exceptionally strong, with no situation where they would surrender. Even in such adversity and setbacks, the Teizene people were still thinking of the most harmful ways to cause him trouble.

Suddenly, the Teizene released at least two hundred thousand assault landing pods, filled with fully armed Teizene soldiers. Of course, their weapons weren't very powerful, being only light arms, but imagine if two hundred thousand Teizene soldiers arrived on Earth, they could indeed wreak havoc on the planet.

At this moment, Zero comforted Bai Zhongqi, "We can intercept most of the pods, and even if they enter Earth and land on the planet's surface, we can track every pod's location through our tracking systems and dispatch the nearest Earth Defense Forces to handle them."

Bai Zhongqi nodded, trusting in the capabilities of the Star Alliance. The Universe Army had been in a major developmental stage since the war preparation period and had always been the absolute main force. However, this did not mean that the Earth Defense Force was merely a trivial military power; instead, this ground force was composed of elites selected from military forces around the world, who had undergone intense training tailored to Iridium Star, emerging as a newly formed terranean army. The Earth Defense Force integrated the former land, sea, and air forces, possessing an extremely comprehensive strike mode.

The concept of the Universe Army was still very new to the people of Earth, but the tasks of these Earth Defense Forces weren't much different from those of the old era's military, and the veterans were more adept at handling them.

Several Teizene soldiers, including Prince Su Beisi, who had luckily escaped death, managed to reach Earth's soil successfully after bypassing the Earth's defense weapon platforms and avoiding interception by fighter jets in the air.

The location they found themselves in was on the outskirts of a city in the southern part of Qiong Island in country C.

The landing pod opened, and Su Beisi stepped out in his powered armor.

"This planet is so valuable, it should not be wasted on these inferior Earthlings. It should belong to us Teizenes," Su Beisi, feeling the superior natural environment through the powered armor's ventilation system, remarked. Even though Teizenes preferred desert planets, they were equally interested in climate and geographically diverse terrestrial planets.

Su Beisi immediately instructed the few Teizene soldiers who had come with him, shouting, "Begin the slaughter of the Earthlings, we need to show these bastards that we are not to be trifled with."

"Yes, Your Highness."

In the environment where Su Beisi had flourished, the Teizenes had always brought blood and fear to others. When others feared the Teizene, they became targets for their taking.
