Keifer's POV

I'm
Dead. I'm so dead. Mom will get mad at me. Dad will SURELY get mad at me. And here i am facing my penalty.
What have I done?! "I'm annoyed! This is someone else's fault! How dare you pick a fight!" Percy heard me. He
kept on hearing. He could have said it to me face to face, we were almost close. "Shut up! This is your fault
too!" Aries told him. I don't understand. With all the trouble we had earlier, only the four of us were called to
guidance. "Why me?!" Percy asked angrily. "Stupid! If you had punched me and pushed me towards Keifer, I
wouldn't have been in this!" Now i know! That's why he suddenly jumped on me. It turned out that Percy was
the one at fault. "Sorry... I thought you were our skinny classmate." He explained to Aries with a hand on his
shoulder. I looked at Yuri. He was looking at me calmly. If I had been annoyed with him before, now I was
embarrassed. "Why did you do that?" He asked me. "W-nothing... I was just annoyed by your face. Besides, it
was my revenge for our last fight." He looked at me in surprise. "Did we fight?" "O-yes!" He thought for a
moment and tried to remember what I had said. What is it? Does he have amnesia? Our last fight wasn't long
ago. "I don't remember." He answered me. "...But if that's true. I apologize." Seriously? He apologized even
though he didn't remember what happened. But why? "Don't apologize for that!" Percy ordered him. "But it's
really my fault. If we hadn't fought in the past, maybe we wouldn't have gotten into this mess now." He looked
at me again. "...Again, I'm sorry Keifer for what I have done." I felt even more ashamed of myself. I guess it
was wrong of me to fight him. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have made a scene and started a fight." I said. Yuri
smiled at me which is why I did the same. "You should apologize to me too!" Percy ordered me. My eyebrows
urrowed. "Why would I?" "Did I feel sorry for the mess you made!" "You only felt sorry for yourself! Keifer and
Yuri were the only ones who fought!" Aries said. Percy glared at him but before he could answer, the door to
the guidance office opened and the counselor walked in with ---what is he doing here? "K-kuya..." Aries called
out. He looked at all of us. I have to admit, a certain creepiness enveloped me from the look he gave me. "It's
good that you came. Their parents still aren't answering ." the counselor said. "What happened?" Aries's older
brother asked. The guidance counselor looked at me. "Mind explaining?" I looked away. I had nothing to
explain to them. How could I tell them that I was just so annoyed that I started a fight? When this got to Mom,
I was sure she would be sad. Percy suddenly raised his hand. "Me! Me! I'll explain!" Yuri and I exchanged
glances. What was he going to explain? "Keifer suddenly started fighting then he and Yuri punched each other
then I rushed to help then I punched Aries and then----" "Mr. Collins! That's enough." They stopped. The
Guidance and Aries's older brother talked for a while. I wanted to listen and find out what they were talking
about but there was a time when he was looking at me badly so I bowed my head. Suddenly the Guidance
Councilor walked out and the five of us were left inside. Aries' older brother closed the door and locked it. We
both swallowed in fear. "K-kuya Aa-angelo." Aries called out tremblingly. His name was Angelo! He slowly
approached us and just as he stopped, Yuri, Percy and Aries suddenly came to my place. I wondered what
they were going to do. But they suddenly pushed me closer to Angelo. "W-what... Stop! Don't push me!" I
shouted. "You're facing him! After all, you started this!" Yuri shouted. What the hell?! He had just apologized to
me and then he's going to push me. "It's scary that Kuya would get angry!" Aries shouted. Is he really pushing
me?! "You can do it! You're brave!" Percy said. I was the only one and because there were three of them
pushing me, they succeeded. I almost fell over and got closer to Angelo. From where I was, I could see his
secretive gaze on me. Bb-why am I so scared? "You... That Keifer..." He asked slowly. "Yes-yes." He just nodded
his head in response. I thought he was going to say something but he remained silent. I turned to Yuri for a
moment, which I wished I hadn't done. Suddenly, Angelo picked me up and threw me over. He also shook me
like a soft drink bottle. "Aaahhhhh... Waaaaaaggggg!" I shouted. "You dare to start a fight! Ha?! What?!
Answer!" He said angrily to me. "TaaAaaaAmmmAaaa nAaaa pOoo!" He stopped shaking me. He lowered me
to the floor and that's when I felt the effect of what he did. I fell down on my own due to dizziness. I also felt
like my stomach was going to turn over. I'm too young to suffer. Why is he doing this to me? "Who's next?!" I
heard Angelo ask. Suddenly, the three of them banged on the door and started banging. "I don't want to die
yet!" "Open this!" "I won't do it again!" The three of them shouted. This is it?! Is this our punishment for the
trouble that happened?! I feel like I want to tell Mom more about what happened than this. I don't want this!
That's weird. Dad's driver picked me up, Mom wasn't there. I entered the house and Keigan greeted me.
"Where is Mom?" I asked him. "Mom sick, in bed." I held his hand and led him to walk to Mom's room. "Dad
mad again. Keigan hear shout." He said. Dad was angry again? He couldn't have hit Mom again. I quickened
my pace and Keigan did the same. When I got to their room, I knocked first but no one answered. I couldn't
wait any longer so I opened the door. Keigan was on the right, she was in bed and sleeping. I walk toward her
and look. I even touch her forehead so I can feel if she has a fever. But I think her temp is fine. "Keifer..." Mom
whispered. "...hows your school?" Oh no! I wake her up! "Sorry... I didn't mean to wake you up." "No, don't
apologize. I'm not sleeping in the first place. I'm just resting my eyes." She said and smiled. "Mom, I had a fight
with Yuri." Mom slowly opened her eyes and looked at me. "What happen?" "It's my fault. I wanted to get even
but we're okay. We're sorry to each other. We're friends now." I explained. "Please don't do that again." Mom
said sound disappointed. "I'm sorry. I promise I won't do that again." She held my hands and smiled.
Something is wrong with Mom. Her eyes are not the same from the way she looks at me. I notice her neck,
there is a red mark and a wound. Mom immediately covered it with her hair when she noticed me looking. "Get
dressed... Prepare some snacks for the maids." She ordered me. I nod. "Okay." He kisses my forehead before I
walk away. I hold Keigan's hand and ask him to leave the room. I want Mom to have a rest. I dressed as he
ordered. Keigan still followed me. "New guy!" Keigan shouted from the window. I looked at what he was
pointing at. There's a new guy? I've never seen him before. "His name is Dylan. Keigan will play with him." He
said and ran. "Keigan! Wait!" He was out of sight. Who was that? He was also in uniform like Dad's other men.
Did he get a new one? For what reason? I'm not comfortable with this guy. "Dylan has a tattoo and a gun."
Keigan said. "What?!" "Keigan saw it!" A gun? Why does he have that? "Please... Don't talk to that Dylan again."
"But why?! Keigan like him." "But i don't. I'm still your older brother, so follow what i said." I said in command.
"Okay..." I don't trust that Dylan guy and I heard him earlier talking to Dad. He said something about killing
someone. Mom said killing is bad. So Dylan is bad because he will kill someone. I just hope he doesn't do
something bad to us. Especially with my Mom and Keigan.
