Genshin Impact: Starting from Liyue to Build Infrastructure

Chapter 443: Chapter 443

After Ei helped Takumi thoroughly handle the artificial intelligence, she decided to relax.

Having nothing else to do, she went straight to find Yae Miko to play. However, Yae Miko was too busy to entertain her, as she was currently focused on managing her own animation business. She had no time to spare.

So, Sister Ei was promptly dismissed with a few words from Yae Miko, telling her to go to school and study properly. She even suggested that Ei could spend her time researching Celestia instead.

Ei was quite frustrated by this, but after some thought, she decided to visit the Crux Fleet. She wasn't particularly interested in researching rockets, and she had nothing better to do at the moment. Since she also had high-level access permissions, she figured she might be able to contribute in some way.

Meanwhile, Takumi remained at home, continuously giving orders to Nuwa, refining and improving various aspects of the network.

When Keqing returned home, she saw Takumi constantly engaged in issuing commands. She was utterly stunned.

"So much to do?" she muttered.

She felt like everything on the internet was already running smoothly. Yet, Takumi was still working tirelessly, refining different security levels, adding layers of restrictions, and implementing new functions.

It seemed like Takumi would never run out of tasks.

After completing a part of his work, Takumi finally turned to Keqing.

"Keqing? You've heard about Nuwa by now, right?"

Keqing nodded. "Yes, I understand what it is. A great assistant. Did Ei create this?"

Keqing was genuinely curious about its origin.

Hearing her question, Takumi nodded. "Yes, Sister Ei made it. You could have just asked Nuwa if you were curious."

Keqing sat down beside Takumi and glanced at her phone before looking at him again.

Takumi, on the other hand, found himself staring at Keqing's legs.

"Is there really so much happening on the internet? I only listened in for a short while, but it feels like you have endless tasks lined up for Nuwa. Do you need any help?"

Noticing Takumi's gaze, Keqing subtly adjusted her posture.

"You can't really help with this," Takumi replied. "You should take advantage of the time off to relax."

Ever since the construction of Guili Plains began, Keqing had been constantly busy. Even during previous holidays, she was occupied with work. Now that she finally had a few days off, Takumi didn't want her to burden herself with more responsibilities.

Keqing was momentarily flustered by Takumi's sudden concern. But after thinking about it, she realized he was right. Many of the things he was working on were beyond her understanding.

"Alright," she conceded. "But there's not much to do for fun right now. I'll just stay here and listen. I'm genuinely interested in how the internet works. As a member of the Liyue Qixing, I should probably learn about this."

Keqing spoke seriously, and Takumi smiled, choosing not to say anything more. He simply continued giving instructions to Nuwa to further enhance the network.

Keqing listened with great interest. She hadn't expected there to be so much depth to these developments.

At the moment, the house was unusually quiet. It was just Takumi and Keqing in the courtyard. Shen He and the others had gone out to have fun. Ganyu had taken Shen He and the rest back to Liyue Harbor to enjoy the festivities.

When noon arrived, Takumi and Keqing simply had some mooncakes to tide them over and continued with their tasks.

By evening, Takumi finally finished handling the majority of his tasks.

At that moment, he received a message in the group chat from Shen He and the others. They wouldn't be coming back tonight and would be staying in Liyue Harbor.

"They're not coming back tonight?" Keqing asked as she saw the messages.

Takumi nodded. "Seems like it. Well, let's go catch some fish while there's still time. I'll cook something for dinner. Also, Kazuha should be arriving later. Ayaka is still in Liyue Harbor."

Glancing at the time, Takumi decided to head to Yaoguang Shoal to catch some fresh ingredients.

Hearing this, Keqing hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright. I'll go change first."

If they were heading down to the shore, her current attire wasn't suitable. She needed to change into something more practical—and remove her stockings.

Seeing Keqing's reaction, Takumi nodded in agreement. "That makes sense."

Without hesitation, Keqing turned and went inside to change. A short while later, she returned, dressed appropriately for their little fishing trip.

Once they were ready, the two flew down to Yaoguang Shoal using their wind gliders.

The area had already been designated for development by Guili Plains, and access was restricted. In the future, the site would likely house new shops and attractions. Takumi even had plans to develop the beach into a popular summer retreat.

For now, however, the place remained untouched, a pristine stretch of golden sand.

Takumi handed Keqing a bucket, and the two began their search for seafood. The shoreline was littered with small fish washed up by the tide.

While they had originally come to catch fish, they ended up playing around more than actually gathering ingredients.

Under the warm hues of the setting sun, the two figures could be seen wading through shallow pools, catching crabs and shrimp, and even playfully splashing each other.

Eventually, Keqing decided to take a more efficient approach—she removed her hairpin and used her Electro abilities to stun the fish in the water.

Seeing this, Takumi was speechless.

"Keqing! Electric fishing is illegal!"

Keqing rolled her eyes. "There's no such law in Liyue!" She paused, then added thoughtfully, "Though, you're right—it really should be banned."

Looking at the small fish she had just stunned, Keqing decided she would consult Yanfei later about officially adding electric fishing to Liyue's list of prohibited activities.

Takumi was both amused and exasperated. Shaking his head, he checked their catch. They had more than enough fish, shrimp, and crabs for dinner.

"Let's head back."

With that, Takumi opened a portal, stepping through first. Keqing followed closely behind.

Back at the manor, they prepared dinner together. By the time the sun had fully set, Kazuha and Yae Miko arrived.

Upon seeing only Takumi and Keqing in the house, Yae Miko raised an eyebrow.

"Where are the others? They're not coming back tonight?"
