Chapter 444: Chapter 444
Yae Miko voiced the doubt in her heart.
"What about the rest? Are they not coming back?"
Takumi placed the food on the table. Hearing Yae Miko's question, he nodded.
"They're all staying at Liyue Harbor. I guess they'll be back tomorrow night."
"How is your animation project coming along?"
Putting down the dishes, Takumi also sat down. Hearing his question, Yae Miko immediately became excited.
She happily explained, "I'll send it to you tomorrow. By then, we should have a 5-minute short film ready. We're also working on the voice acting, but I've already found someone for that."
Speaking of this, Yae Miko was thrilled. The more she studied the material Takumi provided, the more she enjoyed it. The ability to create the things she wanted to see was simply fantastic.
Takumi nodded. Meanwhile, Ei, who was seated quietly, didn't interrupt but instead focused on her meal.
This was her first time tasting Takumi's cooking. She found it quite delicious.
It wasn't just Ei's first time trying Takumi's food—even Keqing and Yae Miko were pleasantly surprised.
Keqing had already noticed Takumi's skills while watching him cook in the kitchen, but she hadn't realized how delicious his food would be until she actually tasted it.
Yae Miko, while nibbling on a crab leg, remarked in amazement, "I never expected you to be such a good cook. It tastes great."
Hearing this, Takumi rolled his eyes. "Cooking is nothing for me. You underestimate me."
In his previous life as a shut-in, if he hadn't learned to cook, he would have had to rely on takeout and would have starved during times when ordering food wasn't an option. He had studied numerous recipes, from "Home-Cooked Dishes People Love" to "Expertly Mixed Cold Appetizers" and "Authentic Chinese Noodles."
He, Takumi, could definitely cook!
Yae Miko was impressed. She truly hadn't expected Takumi to have such culinary skills. It was quite rare.
After dinner, Yae Miko and Ei returned to Ganyu's manor, while Takumi and Keqing stayed behind, watching TV together.
At this time, "Lumine Bizarre Adventure" was airing its first episode on television. Many people were watching, and the audience reaction was surprisingly enthusiastic.
Lumine also knew that today was the premiere of the documentary about her adventures. The promotional campaign had started the day before, so even though she was at Liyue Harbor, she was still watching it on TV with everyone.
However, when she saw the visuals on the screen, she was stunned.
"Why does this look so impressive?"
Was this really filmed by Paimon?
Even Paimon herself hadn't expected the footage to turn out so well. Inexplicably, she felt a deep sense of accomplishment.
"This is my work!"
While everyone was discussing the show, Takumi received a message from Albedo on his phone.
Albedo asked Takumi to visit the Chasm the next day. Apparently, his research had made progress.
Takumi's eyes lit up at this news.
"Does this mean I can finally access the Void System?"
Takumi immediately became interested and quickly responded to Albedo's message.
After watching TV, Takumi and Keqing went back to their rooms to wash up and rest.
However, Keqing had a different thought in mind tonight.
Shen He wasn't around… Would that be okay?
As she thought about this, her face turned completely red.
Keqing recalled her past experiences with Takumi when they had visited Mond together. After hesitating for a while, she made up her mind.
It wasn't the first time, after all.
With that thought, Keqing calmed down and got up, silently walking toward Takumi's room.
Takumi, who was still discussing details with Albedo, looked up in surprise when he saw Keqing enter.
"What's wrong?"
Hearing his question, Keqing coughed lightly. "That... I was afraid you'd be lonely at night, so I came here..."
Her face flushed red as she spoke, and she suddenly felt like backing out.
Seeing this, Takumi immediately understood. Without hesitation, he put his phone down.
As for Albedo? Well, they could talk tomorrow.
"Let's have a proper chat!"
Saying that, Takumi got up and pulled Keqing inside, not giving her a chance to escape.
Keqing panicked and started second-guessing her decision. But seeing Takumi's teasing smile, she suddenly felt at ease.
"I have some new outfits here. Want to try them on?" Takumi asked with a grin, using his abilities to conjure up some new costumes.
Upon seeing the outfits—especially the black and white ones—Keqing instantly understood.
This guy...
Seafood for dinner, and seafood at night, too.

The next morning, Takumi got up, tidied the room, and prepared breakfast for Keqing before opening a spatial portal and leaving the manor.
Keqing, however, needed more time to recover.
For now, Takumi's priority was visiting Albedo.
The night before had been chaotic. Albedo had sent a bunch of messages, answering all of Takumi's questions, but he hadn't read them at the time. He only saw them in the morning.
Albedo had even started wondering if something had happened to Takumi.
After Takumi left, Keqing slowly woke up in bed.
She had no idea how she made it back to her room last night.
All she remembered was being in Takumi's room… then the window, the balcony, the stairs… and somehow ending up in her own bed.
Beyond that, it was a blur.
Had she passed out?
Thinking of this, Keqing's mouth twitched slightly.
"Hiss..."
She had no idea how she had endured it all.
Takumi was terrifying!
Meanwhile, the culprit, Takumi, had no clue about Keqing's current state.
He had already arrived at the Chasm, where Albedo was up early, busy working on something in his stone laboratory. On a nearby table sat an unfinished breakfast.
Hearing footsteps, Albedo paused his work and turned toward Takumi.
"You're just in time," Albedo said. "I need you to test this—it requires your abilities."
He gestured toward a device in front of him.
After extensive effort, he had finally devised a way to link to the Void System.
Now, it was time to test whether the connection would work and, if successful, determine what could be done with it.
Looking at the machine Albedo had assembled by hand, Takumi's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Is it done?" he asked eagerly. "Is this a finished product or a prototype?"
Albedo shook his head. "Not yet. Have a seat first. I'll make some final adjustments."
With that, Albedo resumed his work.
Takumi, seeing that there was still work to be done, wasn't in a rush. He glanced around before sitting down in a chair and checking his phone.
He sent Keqing a message to let her know where he was.
No need for her to suddenly call him a scumbag later.
