Law was also expecting to learn that the other party was pursuing them relentlessly.

Expecting the enemy to back off had always just been an offhanded joke.

This measure, similar to applying poison, drastically changed the appearance of the blade of the sword, making it dark green in color overall, with rust spots still visible, like the markings of a venomous snake.

After squandering the little Aura she had finally recovered, Sanbica immediately felt the fatigue hit her. In her current state, she was basically defenseless.

Law retracted Shin, looked at Sanbica, who was breathing slightly heavy, and said, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Sanbica looked up and smiled.

Law nodded, then stood up from the hay and walked towards the cave's rocky wall.

"Kuro, protect Sanbica."

Standing in front of the rock wall, Law turned and looked at Kuro.

"You think I need you to tell me that?" Kuro raised his paw and pointed at the silver mark on his forehead.

"Law, be careful." Sanbica said with concern.

Law smiled at Sanbica, then used his ability to cut through the rock wall and headed outside.

The towering mountain loomed over the dense forest like a giant crane standing among chickens.

After Law came out of the cave, he sealed the opening behind him, leaving no trace it had ever been touched.

Then, he slipped out from behind a protruding rock ledge and began his descent along the steep slope.

Carpet-style searching wasn't fast, and it was a clumsy method, but wherever it passed, no one could hide.

In this kind of search pattern, taking out enemies one by one would be difficult. One wrong move could alert the whole unit.

Law glanced up at the cloudless night sky, where the moon shone like a giant grinding wheel, casting brilliant light across the forest.

"It's too bright."

Law murmured. If there were enough clouds in the night sky, he could launch an attack at the moment when the clouds covered the moon. Even though the forest canopy was dense, moonlight would still pass through the gaps and fall into the forest.

Law murmured as he glanced at the dark green Shin. It was a virus conjured by Sanbica's telekinesis. It fed on his Aura and continued to reproduce and survive.

In the dark forest, massive figures moved among the trees.

Once night fell, many venomous creatures emerged to roam. Upon encountering these uninvited guests, they launched ferocious attacks.

However, these venomous creatures, which were enough to make ordinary Hunters tremble, couldn't even pierce the skin of these uninvited guests. Instead, they all ended up throwing away their lives.

Law, who is perched silently in a tree, used the faint moonlight filtering through the leaves to observe how the artificial creatures dealt with these venomous creatures.

It wasn't until its bisected body collapsed to the ground that the boar-bodied artificial creature realized something was wrong.

While lying on the ground, it tried to notify its comrades nearby, but found that it could not make any sound and its body was getting heavier and heavier.

On the ground covered with rotten leaves, a giant purple-blue boar's body was gradually turning inky green.

Law knew very well that the mixed virus on the blade was very deadly, so after cutting the target in half, he immediately went looking for his second target.
