Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1139: Hidden enemies

From MC's Perspective:

"You are carrying some nasty stuff," I said to him. Then I put the syringe in the storage bracelet.

Dimitry was scared sh!t. He doesn't know what to do right now. He fears that Vincent Carey will expose him. If it happens, then punishment would be severe.

I'm observing the facial expressions. He just sneaked up on me to strike me with a syringe. According to the system, the syringe contains deadly solution.

It can cripple Wizard's mana core. Thinking about it, a cold shiver went down my spine. If not for the system, then I would have gotten into serious trouble.

"Just tell me the names of the people behind you. I will forgive you this time," I said in a serious tone.

Dimitry was shocked to the core. He finally felt hope. He doesn't know whether to trust him or not. He decides to come across as clean. Because Vincent Carey is not his enemy, to begin with in the first place.

He then starts to recount what has happened to him recently.

A few minutes later,

After finding that there is one more enemy in my life. My heart was in turmoil. Then I looked at the classmate and said, "I hope you are not lying. You can go now and don't cross my path again."

After saying that I turned around to leave. Dimitry rooted in the spot before collecting his thoughts. He was so close to death and expulsion.

Fortunately, Vincent Carey was not vengeful. His eyes flash with gratitude. He then walks away from the place.

After returning to the dorm building, I made my way towards the room. When I got there. I looked around the place before entering inside.

I shut the door and went to take a bath.

The bath lasted for 20 minutes,

After changing into comfortable clothes, I vanished from the spot and appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. Then I took out the syringe from the storage bracelet.

"Clonius Family," I uttered in a cold tone.

This Wizard Family is more dangerous than the Perry Family. They had coerced one of my classmates and forced him to attack me with this deadly poison.

Their methods remind me of the Dark Wizards. But I know that's not the case from the classmate's confession. He told me that the Clonius Wizard Family is known as the Beast Taming Family.

Like the Perry Family, they have descendants studying in the True Elements Society. Most of their members are part of the Beast Taming Magic Department.

To think I have made another Magic Department my enemy. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. But one thing is clear. These families won't let me go unless I find a strong backer.

I thought having the identity of the Special Mage Department's Wizard would be fine. But it appears though it's not enough. I need to find an even stronger backer.

Thinking about the strong backers, I couldn't help but wonder about the Magic Palace Masters. They are Level-10 Wizards. Each of them holds a strong position and say in the True Elements Society.

If I could get the attention of such people, it would be something. Then I don't have to worry about the internal troubles. And when it comes to those families outside. I don't have answer right now.

I can only figure it out slowly. Shaking my head, I pushed down these thoughts before going to bed.

...

Meanwhile,

Dimitry went back to his dorm building. No one knows that such a deadly exchange happened between the two.

On the other hand, Charon Perry returned to his estate. He has called his other family members, especially those who are in the Bloodline Beast Department, for discussion.

But so far none of them responded. Which worsens his irritable mood further. Maybe he is the one taking up this matter seriously.

Others didn't worry about the family's lost chance. He then went to the pavilion to see whether the family members were coming or not.

Soon, his thoughts were disturbed by the nearing footsteps. He raised his head and saw the person none other than Leona Perry.

"You have come," He said in a low tone.

Right now, they are in a small pavilion located in the middle of the large garden. It's the perfect place for discussion.

"Come and take your seat," Charon said with a smile.

Leona looked perplexed. She thought there would be others as well. Then she sat on the chair opposite to him.

"Brother, what's on your mind?" Leona asked.

"What?"

"Are you not thinking about the revenge?"

"An outsider made us lose face. More importantly, he snatched away the membership quota," Charon said, gritting his teeth.

Anger can be seen on his face.

Leona was stunned before replying, "Brother, you misunderstood. If I didn't care, then I wouldn't have tested his strength in the first place."

Hearing that, Charon's eyebrows ease down. He was quick to judge Leona's priorities.

Leona continued further by saying, "Brother, there is no need for you to think too much about it. As far as I know, the other families are targeting the kid as well."

"Soon, they will do something. We just have to wait and watch," She added.

"Humph, I know. But what's the fun in that? If we eliminate him before anyone, then we will get some face," Charon said with a snort.

"Brother, don't forget about the rumours," Leona said.

"Rumour?"

"Are you talking about the Mage Union?" Charon asked.

Leona nodded to his question.

"Leona, no organisation would care about the dead genius. It's the same with the Mage Union. They are just investing in him."

"Even if he eliminates him, then the Mage Union might ask for compensation and create some difficulties for us. But I doubt they would do something beyond that," Charon said with a smile.

Leona is nodding her head as well. Of course, she thought about it. But nobody can guess the actions of the Mage Union.

"Alright, it's time to talk about the plan. I called you here so that you can give me some ideas. The 2 idiots under me ruined everything," Charon said with impatient.

Leona thought for a moment before saying, "Brother, there are many ways. As long as he leaves the main campus, then he would lose protection."

"I guess the freshers would soon accept missions. Then we will find a chance to kill him," Leona said.

"It's a good idea," Charon said. However, he was slightly disappointed in his heart that he couldn't kill the newcomer immediately.

Then they both started discussing other topics.

...

The Following Day,

At 10 A.M, I left the dorm building and started walking towards the floating building. On the way, I found many hidden gazes on me.

At this point, I started ignoring it. No one dares to attack me inside the campus. They are here to spy on me.

Soon, I arrived at the place. Then I started walking on the stairs to reach the main gate. When I got there. I used the I.D. to enter inside.

Then I made my way towards the lecturer hall. On the way, I came across the students. We exchanged a few glances before I reached my class.

I pushed the door open and entered inside. Then I saw 19 other classmates present inside, including the one who tried to attack me yesterday.

After glancing at them, I walked to the last row to sit down.

"Hey, he seems to be fine lately."

"No one has caused him any problem."

"Well, a few tried to intimidate him. But it's forbidden to fight inside the campus."

The classmates discuss in a low tone.

Dimitry noticed everything. Unlike yesterday, he was peaceful right now. He ignored others' comments sitting next to him.

On the other hand, I sat on the chair and closed my eyes. I didn't even look at the person who tried to attack me yesterday.

Shortly afterwards,

Creak!

A middle-aged man walked inside.

Hearing the door opening sound. I opened my eyes and looked at the person. The person is none other than Paul Lin.

Paul Lin swept his eyes across everyone before saying, "Everyone has attended all the classes without skipping one yesterday. I hope today will be the same as well."

"But I came here to tell you one important thing. If you want to learn more you can go to the library and read some books. But not all the books are free to read. Some need contribution points."

"The same point system to access the training facilities. To earn points, you have to complete the task given by me," He said.

Gasp!

A small exclamation sounded in the room.

Paul Lin ignored everyone's gazes before saying, "Usually, there is a Mission Hall in every big Wizard Organisation. But Our True Elements Society is quite different. Here the Mage Departments are quite independent."

"The resources received by the True Elements Society are equally distributed to all the Mage Departments. But for some Mage Departments, it's not enough. Because of their member's strength. So they provide services independently."

"It's the same case with our department. Though we are in less numbers our resource consumption is high," He said.

Hearing that everyone seems to understand. There is nothing free here. You have to earn it yourself.
