Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 474 – Prank Went Too Far

When they realized it, they had arrived at what seemed like a hotel corridor with many doors on the sides. Flexy and MadLad had respawned. The former crossed his arms and tapped his feet.

"So, did you get good content?" The orange-suited streamer asked Max with a tone full of sarcasm.

Facing him, Max raised his thumbs up and gave him a nod. "Of course! It's the best content ever." He grinned in satisfaction while the other rolled his eyes.

"Damn it, my revenge will come back at you sooner or later." Flexy warned him as Max smiled and patted his shoulder.

"Can't wait."

Flexy grumbled under his breath as Amelia giggled while covering her mouth. Lily smiled wryly as Princess Peach scoffed loudly.

"So, what is this map? What should we do here?" MadLad had enough with the silly conversation and changed the topic.

Princess Peach was the one who answered him.

"Can't you see the pattern? Find the drawing, search for a clue, and proceed."

"Okay, smart ass. Where is the drawing then?"

She harrumphed as she pointed at the end of the corridor. There was a signboard with a drawing at the end of the corridor where the road split to left and right.

"It's there." She said with a satisfied expression as if saying 'I am not wrong' to everyone.

Max stifled his laughter as Princess Peach puffed her chest. Lily chuckled while Amelia giggled, and Flexy laughed out loud.

"Yeah, yeah. Good job." MadLad complimented her sarcastically. "I have become a sacrifice with Flexy last round. Breeze has sacrificed himself too when we were searching for the path, so..."

He looked at the girls, who looked back with an expressionless face.

"Really?" Amelia asked while crossing her arms. "You want girls to be a sacrifice?"

Princess Peach nodded, showing her support to Amelia's idea as Lily stared at him.

"Un... I don't want to." She said with an apologetic tone as the other two girls agreed with her.

Max, who heard their rejection, looked at MadLad while Flexy turned away from him, signaling that he should deal with this problem.

"Really, dude?" Max decided to side with the girls this time, as it was funny to corner MadLad.

"Hey, why did you take their sides?" He protested strongly. "Besides, at least this time, the corridor is brightly lit, right? There will be no creatures inside." He pointed at the corridor that was bright thanks to a skylight at the end of it.

Everyone knew that having no creature waiting for them in this map would be impossible. There would certainly be one or even two roaming around trying to kill them.

"Look, we aren't stupid, MadLad." Max shrugged his shoulders. "And we're also scared, so why don't the bravest person take the lead. Feel free to check it, brother."

"As he said." Flexy nodded in agreement while MadLad gritted his teeth. "Man up. You can do it."

Princess Peach and Amelia supported Flexy and Max's words as Lily looked at him sympathetically.

"Good luck." She said with an apologetic tone. "I really don't want to become a bait."

Betrayed, MadLad cursed under his breath. With this, he had no choice but to find out what was hiding in this map. He approached the first room on his right and knocked on the door.

No response could be heard inside, so he decided to open it. The door was opened pretty easily despite it was wooden. Inside was a typical hotel room with a double bed and a table near it with some plates on it. A bathroom was connected to it at the corner.

However, MadLad didn't know this but this hotel room wasn't normal. The window was open and he couldn't close it.

"Boo!"

"FUCK!"

Hearing the voice, MadLad screamed as he almost jumped up to the ceiling in surprise. He turned around and found the owner of the voice looking at him weirdly. It was Max who tilted his head and grinned at him.

"Yo, scaredy cat." He greeted him as MadLad scowled at him. "What is it? Your face is pale."

"Motherfucker! You scared the shit out of me."

"Hahaha, did I?" He teased him before approaching MadLad who backed away from him. "What's wrong? Can't handle a little jumpscare?"

"You fu- Wait a second!" MadLad pointed his finger at him while glaring angrily at him. "Are you the real Breeze or the monster? I heard there is this skinwalker or something. Prove it to me that you're the real one!" He shouted as Max raised his eyebrow.

"Huh? Seriously, dude? If there is a skinwalker, the people outside will freak out when I entered, no?"

That was a good point. He came from outside where the rest of the people watched the corridor intently. If he was a skinwalker, at least the real Max would came running down and shouted at MadLad.

"That's..." MadLad couldn't retort. He sighed and approached him. "Well then, let's go. There is nothing in this room beside that open window."

He pointed at the open window. Max peeked from above MadLad's shoulder and nodded. They passed by each other right in front of the bed before Max's body swelled in a moment. The disguise melted like a clay and revealed something else.

Its huge red eye locked onto MadLad who widened his eyes in surprise. His mouth was gaping as he stuttered out Max's name, but before he could turn around and run, the creature grabbed his body and chomped his head.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" His loud shout reverberated throughout the entire corridor as everyone looked at each other in worry.

"W-What was that?" Princess Peach trembled as Amelia hugged her tightly.

"I-I don't know." Amelia responded, "But I know that MadLad is dead."

"That's easy to guess." Max retorted as everyone glared at him, "Sorry, sorry."

Meanwhile, the sound of the creature eating the remains of MadLad's body could be heard coming from the room. His screams could also be heard inside before they were cut off.

No one in the elevator saw anything weird, though. The only thing that changed was the first door in the corridor was opened by MadLad earlier.

— Man, this has become scary

— Was that the monster's sound? Is MadLad dead?

— Nah, that's his scream. How can you say he's dead when we didn't see it?

— Then that must be his scream of sexual frustration lolololololol

— I would have guessed that, too

— Hahaha, sexual frustration kekw

Max read the chat and sighed. As they had said, this became scary pretty quickly. Anything in that room must be a hostile creature, ready to kill them in a gruesome way possible.

"Buddy."

He felt a touch on his shoulder and turned around to see Flexy in his orange suit. Somehow, the expression behind the visor was fresh and happy. Continue your adventure with My Virtual Library Empire

"It's your turn now." He grinned at him, making Max feel cold sweats running down his back. "Take this as revenge for killing me first earlier."

"Seriously?" Max tried to find a way to avoid it, but the glare he got from everyone in this elevator stopped him.

Even Lily nodded repeatedly, hoping for him to go. She was already scared and couldn't really move well.

"Max… Can you please check? For me?" She looked at him with upturned eyes.

It was impossible to refuse now.

"Alright, alright." He sighed before jumping out of the elevator. "Okay, I will check what is inside that room. If I don't return in 5 minutes, come find me." He instructed as everyone nodded.

He could hear everyone's cheer as he walked forward slowly. All eyes were focused on him as he reached the first door in the corridor and peeked inside.

Surprisingly, the room looked pretty normal. MadLad was standing in front of the window, looking out there without moving at all.

'This bastard just screamed not long ago. Did he prank us to believe that he had died and made us send someone to check on him?'

So petty. That was what he thought.

That was why he planned to get revenge. Approaching him as quietly as possible, he stopped next to the bed. Then, he took a deep breath and shouted.

"Boo!"

His loud shout echoed inside the room, but MadLad didn't even flinch as Max widened his eyes. This was definitely weird.

"MadLad?" He called him again, but he didn't move even an inch. He gulped and approached the unmoving streamer slowly. "Hey, dude? Did you hear me? Sorry for screaming at you like that. Haha." He apologized as he reached for his shoulder.

At that moment, MadLad turned his head around. His eyes were bleeding with blood dripping down his cheek while a wide grin plastered on his face, as if he was smiling at him creepily. The neck was turned 180 degrees, which wasn't humanly possible.

A realization dawned on him. This person wasn't MadLad.

"FU-!"

Max's shout was cut off as a hand stretched out toward him.
