A squad of fully armed soldiers suddenly appeared on the island.

"Mr. President, they are here to seize the nuclear codes," an advisor said. "Although our first round of nuclear strikes was stopped, we still have nuclear submarines. You can authorize a second round of nuclear strikes. The USA cannot fall without a fight!"

William shook his head again, "That's the last bargaining chip. Using it would be a waste. If their magic could destroy the first round of nukes, it could destroy the second round. It won't make any difference."

"What do you plan to do then?" an officer asked.

William smiled, "We can only surrender. The power of the secular world is just an appearance. The true belonging of the soul is the only thing that matters. If he wants this country, let him have it."

With that, he stood up, emitting a warm and gentle radiance from his body. The light was incredibly holy and merciful, making everyone in the room tear up and kneel, instantly realizing who he really was, "Merciful Father, have you come to redeem us?"

"Rest, my children. Your souls will be with me."

After William spoke, the holy light swept over, and everyone lost their breath, falling into eternal sleep with peaceful smiles.

At the same time, wraith-like essences were extracted from their bodies, merging into William, forming a halo behind his head.

The halo passed through the entire underground shelter, killing all soldiers in an instant.

When the Countermeasure Bureau members were touched by the halo, they felt dizzy but soon regained consciousness, with the system issuing a warning: "Subject to a psychic shock (Energy Level A), neutralized."
