Harry Potter: The Lightning King

Harry and his group reach Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Class. They saw a cat sitting on the professor table and there was also a hawk hanging out by the window. Hermione wants to pet the cat, assuming the cat belongs to McGonagall but was stop by Harry.

"What is the matter? Why did you stop me?" Questioned Hermione

Harry leans toward her ear, making her blush, and whisper "that cat is Professor McGonagall's Animagus"

Harry gave a nod to McGonagall and Delila then took out 2 breakfast burritos to give to the professor. They took the burrito, and they nodded to thank Harry. Then they return to their original positions.

Cassandra pulls Harry to her side so they can sit together. Hermione tried to stop her but was alarmed by the hawk screeching.

"What a rude bird" Said Hermione and she sat next to another Gryffindor's student.

After the few minutes of waiting, class had started but everyone except for Harry and his group, notice the professor haven't come yet. Suddenly, Draco rushes in with his followers and a new pair of pants. Before they can get to their seat, the cat jump off the table and glare at Draco.

"You are late," said McGonagall

"We were late because of them" Draco point at Dudley and Harry.

"What did we do?" Ask Harry

"You..." Draco words got caught in his mouth.

Draco thought about what happen earlier when Dudley almost punched him and then he felt wetness between his leg. He sneaked back to his living quarters with his followers to change. He can't tell anyone about what happen beside Crabbe and Goyle since they are his follower.

"Well? Since you have nothing to say please go back to your seat. I would like to start the class," said McGonagall.

After Draco sat down, McGonagall gave an announcement "In this class, I expect everyone to take Transfiguration magic seriously. When use right, it might save your life. But if used wrong, you might harm yourself and everyone around you. So, Professor Delila and I will supervise everyone to make sure everyone is well behaved"

Then the hawk flew down and change to Delila human form as she lands gracefully. All the first years clapped their hands because of Delila performance.

Delila raises her hand to stop the applaud and said "as professor McGonagall assistant, I hope everyone perform well to not disappoint Professor McGonagall and me" then she gave everyone a toothpick.

"I would like for everyone to try to change the toothpick. You can turn it into whatever you like, just to imagine it and swing your wand. Transfiguration magic is based on visual, belief, and will. First, you need to visualize what you are changing, then you have to believe you can do it. Finally, with will power and little magic you can change the toothpick" explained McGonagall

Everyone took out their wand and start swinging it around, but nothing happens. Hermione managed to turn the wooden toothpick into a plastic toothpick. While at Harry table, Cassandra turns the toothpick to a wooden flower.

"Psh, Harry can I borrow one of your wands. I don't have one" ask Dudley. He shared a table with Ron, and he saw Ron struggling to change the toothpick, so he wants to give it a try. He remembered Harry had 2 wands so that is why he asks.

"Sure" then Harry dug into his Mokeskin pouch and took out a wand. He gave it to Dudley and said "good luck"

Dudley didn't expect it would be that easy to get a wand from Harry but when he held the wand, he noticed it was a licorice wand, so he ate it but he was caught by McGonagall and deducted 10 points from Slytherin for eating during class.

"Harry, let see what you can do," said Delila

With Tom's (Zanpakuto) guidance, Harry turns the toothpick into a small sparrow and let it fly around the classroom before turning it back to a toothpick.

Aye. Congratulations to host for obtaining Skill Transfiguration Spell (beginner)...

"Great job Harry, 10 points for Gryffindor" said McGonagall making all the Gryffindor's student cheered.

After class was over Harry and the other student head over to Snape Potion Class. When they got into the classroom, they notice Steve was waiting in the classroom.

"Harry, what kind of creature is that?" Ask Hermione

"It's a Villager. He can't really speak human language, but you can trade some useful item with him" said Harry then Steve walk up to Harry to give him a nod.

The first years took a seat and waited for Snape to show up. Harry sat between Hermione and Cassandra, so they won't argue. While Ron and Dudley sat behind them. Some student started chatting while other took out their potion books and started to study.

The classroom door slam open and Snape entered the classroom. He walks up to his desk, closing the blinds making the classroom lights dimmer "There will be no foolish wand-waving or silly incantations in this class. I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death"

Then the door slam open again and Petunia rush in with some books

"Sorry I'm late, I got lost" Petunia enter the classroom and she notice it's dark in the classroom so she opens the blinds that Snape just shut "there that is much better. Hi, everyone, I'm Professor Snape teaching assistant. You can call me Professor Petunia and I brought along a little helper. His name is Steve and he will be providing us with item to brew potion"

"*ahem* anyway I want everyone to find a partner then start following these directions to brew the Boil Potion" Snape points that the board that is in front of classroom.

"Professor Snape, where is the cauldron?" Ask Hermione. She manages to partner up with Harry so she is kind of excited.

"For all student safety we will be using a Brewing Stand," said Snape. As soon as Snape finish talking, Steve walk in front of every student and place a Brewing Stand in front of them with a list of ingredients.
