Harry Potter: The Wizard of Apocalypse

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Third Year Charms Class

As Ian was asking, he glanced and saw Penelope walking down the stairs from the girls' dormitory, so he stopped Kairi from speaking and stood up to greet her.

"Good morning, Penelope!"

"Good morning, Ian, what's up? I remember this is the first time you've taken the initiative to look for me since the start of school!"

Penelope said with a little surprise while staring at Ian with her charming amber eyes.

"Over there." Ian pointed at Carey, who was still curled up on the sofa.

"Kerry Trollope, a first-year student, was kicked out of his dormitory by his roommates and slept in the common room for a night. I think this should be something that the prefect needs to deal with."

To be honest, Ian was a little annoyed at the moment. His curiosity had almost been exhausted in the past half hour. He had originally planned to use this time to review the content of the textbook, but since he had already intervened, he couldn't just leave it alone.

So when he saw Penelope, he couldn't wait to pass the responsibility to her.

"Oh, Ian! Perhaps you could just offer help to this poor little boy. I know you can handle it well."

Penelope said with a smile while she kept looking at Ian. After not seeing him for a while, she felt that he was more and more charming, with his calm temperament, tall and slender figure, and handsome face that was gradually fading from his youthfulness to a slightly mature one.

"No! I'm not a prefect, this is not my responsibility." Ian immediately refused.

Just kidding, this matter obviously looked a bit troublesome. If it was just a small issue, he wouldn't mind helping Kairi.

But now it seemed that this matter could actually involve two sixth-year prefects, which was still a bit complicated. So, sorry! He didn't have that much time.

"Okay! It's very Ravenclaw of you to just sit back and watch, but..."

Penelope smiled teasingly.

"Maybe in two years, someone will encounter this kind of thing and will have to intervene. After all, Professor Flitwick admires you very much. You can't avoid being the new male prefect."

"Then wait two years!"

Ian shrugged and replied nonchalantly, and then he and Penelope approached Kairi.

At this time, Kairi had already stood up from the sofa and was looking at the two people in front of him with some trepidation.

Ian tried to speak in a gentle tone, "Okay, Carey, this is Miss Penelope Clearwater, fifth-year Ravenclaw prefect. Don't worry, she'll help you."

"Miss Clearwater!" Carey looked up at Penelope, then quickly lowered his head and said nothing.

"Okay, Kerry. Come on, take me to your dormitory." Penelope said with a chuckle.

"But..."

Kairi was still a little frightened at this moment and looked at Ian in confusion.

It was a pity that Ian no longer intended to care about it. Since it had nothing to do with him, he had already done his best by finding Penelope on his behalf.

Besides, with him acting as a go-between, Penelope would be able to handle it properly, so he nodded, signaling the other party not to worry.

After that, he turned around and left the common room. After this little episode, a lot of time had been wasted. Ian simply stopped thinking about reviewing the books. After choosing to go to the Great Hall to find something to eat, he planned to go directly to the Charms classroom to sit and wait for class.

Watching Ian's figure gradually disappear, Penelope spoke, somewhat indifferently:

"Don't say 'but' anymore—no 'buts'! Take me to your dormitory right now, do you understand?"

At this moment, Penelope seemed like a different person, and the strength and dominance of a prefect were fully displayed.

What Ian didn't know was that Penelope had been with him for nearly twenty minutes and still hadn't come out. If he were here, he would have guessed that things might not be that simple.

On the other hand, Ian just took a bottle of fresh milk in the Great Hall and went straight to the Charms classroom.

There were still more than 20 minutes before class started, so there were almost no people in the classroom at this time. Only a few Ravenclaws were sitting there reading books attentively, and they ignored Ian's arrival.

That was great! Ian really liked this atmosphere, where students could study quietly, mind their own business, and not interfere with each other.

He found an empty seat, sat down, opened the book, and waited quietly for Professor Flitwick to arrive.

During this time, many students came in one after another. Unlike the boys, every girl who came in for class had a look of surprise in her eyes when she saw Ian for the first time. However, because he was reading quietly, it was not a good idea to disturb him rashly.

However, this quiet atmosphere did not last long before it was interrupted by a voice.

"Oh my God, Ian, you should have called us! You didn't forget that your Charms class schedule is the same as ours now, did you? It's all Ivy's fault! She insisted on playing Wizard's Chess with me yesterday and stayed up so late, which almost made me late."

Andre, looking a little embarrassed, spoke to Ian with some resentment.

Ivy was also a little embarrassed at this time and had even put on one less sock. However, after hearing what Andre said, she immediately refuted:

"Blame me? Who lost seven games in a row yesterday and then refused to give up until he won a game before going to bed? Who also insisted on dragging me to play chess whenever he had free time?"

"A typical example of someone addicted to losing at chess," Ian sighed silently in his heart upon hearing this.

But even so, Ian still explained:

"I'm sorry, I forgot. After all, our schedules have been the same since today. But next time, I'll remember to call you."

Ian really had forgotten. After all, he had just returned from the apocalypse, and a month had passed, so he had long forgotten all these trivial matters.

"This is not your fault, it's Ivy's fault. If she had let me win a game, we could all have gone to bed early..."

Andre still had some clarity of mind, and at the same time, he did not forget to complain about Ivy.

Before Ivy could refute, a voice suddenly came from the classroom door:

"Children, if you don't want to lose points for being late, please enter the classroom and sit down immediately, because it's already class time."
