Chapter 343: Turning Down Sex, And Kael Has Been Imprisoned?
Michael's brows twitched at her strange expression. Claire was always the type of person who liked playing around.
But in this scenario?
He actually turned her down. Not because he wasn't in the mood, but simply because she didn't share the same feelings he did.
Currently, she was doing this out of lust, not because she liked him.
Though I'm sure she does kind of like me...? Otherwise, we wouldn't have gone on a date together, Michael thought with a sigh as he stood up, surprising her.
"Michael...?" Claire muttered. "Is something the matter?"
"On the contrary, not exactly," Michael replied with a chuckle. "Though I'm afraid I have to get going. Sorry, Claire."
"W-Wait!" Claire shot up from the ground in shock. "Aren't you—"
"In the mood? I am. But not really. Sorry, Claire, we'll talk later, okay?"
Before she could respond, Michael suddenly flashed away, disappearing into the nearby alleyway where a certain person awaited.
Of course, it was none other than Arthur.
"Hmm... I'm surprised you didn't go through with it," Arthur remarked with a whistle. "God knows I would."
"Sure, fish, whatever you say," Michael replied absentmindedly. "So what's the occasion? I thought we'd go our separate ways?"
"About that..." Arthur scratched his head. "Kael got into some serious shit."
"He did? How the fuck would he get out of trouble? Isn't he kind of programmed to be nice?" Michael asked, puzzled.
Arthur frowned and shook his head. "How should I know? All I know is he's currently with the king."
"And the rest?" Michael asked. "How's Nyra and Irelia?"
"I have no clue where they've gone. Not a bunch of time has passed, but you did get busy, I guess," Arthur said with a chuckle. "Anyways... ready to rescue Kael?"
"And what makes you think I can?" Michael asked with a tilt of his head. "My status screen is pretty fucked if you didn't know."

The Core Sync Progression was new, but he wasn't exactly sure what it did.
But it likely had something to do with all this instability he felt. But as long as he didn't abuse his Chaos powers, then it was all fine.
Or so I hope, Michael thought, glancing at Arthur, who seemed to be at the edge of his patience.
"Listen... if you're not going to help me, I'm going to go break him out all by myself. Do you want me to do that? What if I find a demon inside?" Arthur asked with a cracking smile. "Or maybe you don't exactly care whether or not I massacre all these people. After all, you're just as evil as I am."
"Evil?" Michael tilted his head. "Fish, I'm not evil, but I'm surprised you're admitting to being evil. Really wracking up the brownie points with God."
Touché, I'm the God, Michael snickered.
"Shut up." Arthur rolled his eyes, then jumped up into the air and hovered on a single puddle of water. "You know that giant-ass castle? Kael is there. If you're interested in not being useless, then go there."
And with those words, Arthur suddenly vanished, heading straight for the King's castle.
As for Michael? He merely stared at Arthur's departing figure before letting out a sigh.
I turned down sex for this... Michael looked behind him, noticing that Claire was slowly walking through the streets, angry.
He would make up for it. He definitely would.
After all, she did say she wanted to join and help him.
A disciple usually forgives their master... right? Michael thought. Though I guess the master doesn't usually sleep with the disciple unless it's some sex cult... well shit.
Anyhow, Michael decided to summon a pair of pearly black wings.
He figured out that Chaos was pretty simple and it could take on any shape.
With that thought, his wings switched to white, then golden, then pink, and lastly, back to black.
It seemed the coolest out of all those colors. White was nice too, but he was already wearing white clothes, so it was pretty shit.
Nonetheless, he flapped his wings, and in less than a moment, reappeared in front of the castle.
It was giant as one would expect, with the spires stretching into the skies.
And of course, a bit of smoke was now rising from the side of the castle all thanks to a certain fish.
Though... if it's smoke, shouldn't the water put it out... kinda? Michael pondered as he floated down and landed in front of the castle.
"A-Another one!" a guard shouted, pointing at Michael. "Kill this miscreant first! He seems weaker!"
Michael didn't even entertain their hopeful desires as he snapped his fingers, causing their brains to literally turn off for a moment.
They fell to the ground, unconscious. The moment they did, Michael simply whistled to himself and entered the castle through the front gate.
More guards were scattered ahead, so he had a bit of fun constantly snapping his fingers to knock them out.
And after a couple more minutes, he arrived at the main door of the castle's entrance.
Michael took a deep breath and kicked it in, causing the entire castle's frame to be caught in the crossfire and break apart.
Whoopsies.
He passed the rubble, and a few of the guards who were accidentally caught here. But not before sending each one of them a heal, causing their injuries to immediately mend themselves.
It was so effective, in fact, that they even managed to lift the rubble that had been crushing their bodies.
Because of that, Michael managed to figure out one more application of his new Chaotic healing abilities.
I can buff people? At least it seems like I can... that's pretty overpowered, he thought in wonder and strolled through the halls.
It took a few minutes, but he finally arrived in front of a fancy-looking door.
Behind it, he could feel a weak presence. But surrounding it was Arthur, and one more presence which had seemed to grow incredibly strong.
Yet when he focused on it, Michael's eyes widened.
That's Kael...?
