Heavenly Asura Path(Percy Jackson)

Chapter 21: Heavenly Asura Path 21

Chapter 21: The Moon Falls

Ares smiled as he left his father's temple, he was ecstatic that every single one of his plans was working.

He never thought about how easy it could be to manipulate his father when his paranoia was used against him. The man was too small minded, no matter how people say he was cunning and intelligent, the moment you mentioned his throne he turned into an arrogant fool with no brains.

Ares walked slowly to the temple of another god, it was the person who would make everything easier for his next move.

He made his presence known by increasing his aura and waited a little while. When the doors opened, he entered and walked until he was in front of the person he was looking for.

"What are you doing Ares?" the man asked, narrowing his eyes at the god of war.

"I need your help and before you refuse, I will swear by Chaos as a promise," he smiled as he saw the frown of the god in front of him.

"What do you want?" he asked again as he stopped his hands from what he was doing.

"I swear by Chaos that I will never have relations with Aphrodite again," when Ares said those words, everything went dark for a few seconds and a pressure enveloped the body of the god of war.

"So... will you listen to me now, Hephaestus?"

.....

Olympus was silent, nothing could be heard. The gods and spirits of nature that lived there, were nowhere to be found.

The constellations in the sky illuminated the city above the skies along with the fire in the torches along the roads.

Artemis suddenly stopped, she frowned and pulled out her bow as the torches went out.

She moved at high speed and jumped before turning and looking at her attacker. A man in armor and a large two-handed sword.

"Ares... What do you think you're doing?" Artemis asked coldly. Ares just looked at her smiling before attacking again.

Artemis parried the sword with her bow before kicking out and firing a wave of arrows. The god of war stepped back and cut the arrows with precision while grinning fiercely, he approached and brandished his sword.

Artemis skillfully dodged while firing arrows and dodging away. She made a great leap and fired hundreds of arrows in just a couple of seconds, her bow almost looking like a machine gun firing arrows.

Each arrow shone with power and cut through the wind, creating whistling sounds that echoed through the streets of Olympus. Ares frowned before swinging his sword and releasing his divine energy, making the arrows explode.

Artemis looked at the god of war with a coldness that made the blood and bones freeze.

Fiushh!

Suddenly, a whistling sound was heard in the distance.

Before Artemis could dodge, an arrow had stuck in her leg.

"Argh!" she growled in pain and looked into the distance. Her eyes shone with boundless hatred.

"Apollo, you dare to betray your sister!" she screamed as she saw her brother's figure in the distance. She never thought her brother would betray her.

"I'm sorry... sister. But you've been too rebellious and Father is losing his patience," Apollo said softly. His eyes showed a bit of regret as he looked at his sister, especially at the wound he had caused.

"You... you trash!" Artemis screamed angrily, her body began to glow, about to transform into her divine form. But, a golden net wrapped around her body and prevented the transformation.

She looked at the net and her fury shot up to a new level.

"Hephaestus... You filthy animal!" she looked behind her, only to see the god of the forge with an apologetic look.

"You've been too hot-headed Artemis," she looked at the owner of the voice, she knew him too well.

"Zeus!" she said venomously to the man who had appeared in front of her. Artemis smiled coldly.

"What will you do?... Will you rape me? Like the disgusting trash that you are?" Artemis asked full of hatred. She couldn't move, she was completely helpless, all she could do was glare at these trash and speak.

Zeus frowned.

"No, but I will punish you," Zeus said seriously. "You have been too rebellious, I will leave Athena in charge of your hunters... as for you...".

Zeus moved forward and placed his hand on Artemis's head, divine energy surrounded them and Artemis began to change. Her body that was in the form of a 12-year-old girl, transformed into one of twenty-something, her hair became a little darker and her eyes darkened a little.

"Now I take your domains from you, you are no longer a god. Until you reflect and are obedient I will not give them back to you," Artemis felt weak, really weak. She looked in disbelief at Zeus before he disappeared in a flash of lightning.

Hephaestus and Apollo followed a few seconds later, only Ares was left smiling mockingly.

"How does it feel to be so weak? Huh, you arrogant fool?" Ares said as he approached, he removed the net and lifted her head by her chin.

"I would have loved to ravage your body and enjoy it, but Zeus wouldn't allow it," Ares said. Artemis was about to speak, but Ares grabbed her by the hair and slowly dragged her away.

"You were always a thorn in my side by underestimating my power, mocking me, insulting me," Ares said resentfully.

"Ares... I swear I will kill you in the worst way! No matter how long it takes, I will kill you!" Artemis screamed full of hatred as she struggled to get out of the god of war's grip.

Ares suddenly stopped.

"We can't have that... right?" He smirked before pulling her in front of him.

"Enjoy the fall, Artemis," Ares smirked before kicking her body.

Artemis widened her eyes in disbelief, the only thing she could see before falling, was Hestia appearing with her eyes covered in flames, completely angry and hitting the god of war.

Artemis watched as her body moved away from Olympus as she fell from the top of the Empire State Building.

Her hands moved for a few moments, her hair fluttering in the wind.

Her gray eyes now without their shine filled with tears as she felt herself falling into the void. Her body was falling into the void, just as her heart was falling into her family. In these moments, when she had no power, for the first time she felt helpless, a true and terrifying helplessness.

She was completely helpless.

"I'm so sorry... I couldn't apologize," she murmured sadly. She just wanted to see Percy and apologize.

"Percy..."

Those were her last words, the last word of the ancient goddess of the moon.

Her thoughts were only on that person she longed for and loved, on that man she wanted to embrace.

With that last word she was towards the man she loved, with those last thoughts and feelings of love towards that person and boundless hatred towards the very gods he belonged to.

Artemis's last words of supplication before everything turned dark...

Were towards the man she loved and stole her heart.
