Chapter 17: 14 Creation and Accident
"Any guesses as to what those monsters were? Hmmm? They were YOU! Yes, you Captain America. You and all your mutated, gamma-irradiated, web-slinging ilk. And this is who you have to thank. The Progenitor. The origin of the world as you know it. The god who died so that you might live."

The colossal being 'fell' at what Ender assumed to be the North Pole and the earth seemed to tremor at its 'fall.'
Gaia took Ender to the location of their fall and the scene gave a chill down their spines not from the sheer power radiating from the being but because of the state it was in.
It was a colossal, humanoid form encased in an intricate, metallic suit. The head is helmet-like, with a smooth and featureless design apart from hollow, red glowing eye sockets. It was vomiting... bleeding? A dark, oily substance, which contrasts with the bright, glowing energy emanating from its body, which was battling the infection but it was diminishing with each passing moment, the ice of artic seemed to melt and crack due to its presence.
Its massive hand and knee resting on the ground as if succumbing to its dying state.
Gaia clutched Ender's hand feeling a sense of weakness washing over her, Ender held her hand.
"What is this being and what ís happening to him? He feels like a part of the force of creation but he reeks of death and destruction." Ender could feel Gaia's fear, he also felt the same.
'Set can't even compare.' He thought feeling a sense of weakness.
'And this his near-death state.' He didn't dare to imagine the being in front of him in full power.
"He is a celestial, being that is also known as the Architect of All Creation, his name is the Progenitor, and this is why he feels like a part of creation and for death it is due to him being infected by something." Ender gave a brief explanation he knew what was going on the 'death' of the Progenitor was one of the most important events of Marvel, the reason why Earth will become a hotbed for superhumans. Because of this celestial.
Gaia felt even more dread she wanted to ignore this and go back to her domain, but due to her nature as Mother Goddess, she could not ignore the suffering of someone, even a stranger.
She was about to use her healing spells but Ender stopped her.
"Gaia, don't, we don't know what would happen if we go near it, let me." He wouldn't let Gaia anywhere near a celestial, especially one infected by Horde, they are called cosmic locusts for a reason.
Gaia looked confused but she knew to trust her husband.
"Whatever infected him can infect us too, I am going to check on him," Ender said, he summoned Ender Flames and covered his entire body with it, confident in its description that said "burn anything on contact" and his instincts, also cast a barrier around Gaia to protect her just in case.
(His armor and Gaia's dress are enough but caution is necessary)
Approaching the Celestial who was on the verge of death, "The Progenitor, do you need help? I can extend your life by some centuries? But I don't think you want that."
Progenitor's voice was strong but Ender could feel his pain due to Empathy a perk of being blessed by Gaia, However, it was weird that along with sadness, and pain there was a sense of...satisfaction.
"It is the first time that I encountered someone like you in any Universe, your potential makes me curious but it is not enough to stop me from fulfilling my purpose," he paused "I didn't expect that someone has already married Mother of Creation, it would have been interesting to see what chaos your presence would bring but alas..."
Progenitor's response didn't surprise Ender since he knew it was Progenitor's purpose even though he didn't intend to do it, but the information shared by Progenitor unknowingly made him sigh in relief.
'So, there are no versions of me out there in the multiverse.'
"What do I say? Maybe you arrived too early every time. Every universe has something unique in it." He calmly responded. Unexpectedly the dying Celestial laughed or it sounded like one "Unique huh, it would be entertaining to see you, how about an offer?"
"You will ensure that whatever life arises from me, you will protect it. You will guard its growth and recount its story when I return. In exchange, I will grant you power—a gift to ensure you endure long enough to fulfill your promise."
The celestial's words hung heavy in the air. Ender clenched his fist, his mind racing. The offer was tempting, but accepting power from an external source meant, it could be revoked at the Progenitor's whim. Yet, this was no ordinary offer; it came from a being that seemed to embody creation itself.
Before Ender could respond, the Progenitor continued, as though it had read his thoughts,
"This power will not be a leash. It will be yours to wield if you learn its origin and the truths of its nature. The more you understand, the less bound you are to me."
The celestial's glowing eyes dimmed slightly as if its immense strength was waning further. For a being of such power, it was almost pitiable. Yet Ender knew better than to trust appearances.
He tilted his head, considering the offer. The potential was undeniable. Even if temporary, this power could prove pivotal in the coming battles against Set, Chthon, and other lurking threats.
"I agree," Ender finally said, his voice steady. If nothing else, he could find a way to claim this power permanently, should the Progenitor falter or change its mind. He suspected there were ancient rules governing pacts like this, even among cosmic beings.
The Progenitor's response was immediate, its voice vibrating with what seemed like relief.
"Then it is done."
As the celestial fell silent, its colossal form began to collapse, sinking into the icy depths of the North Pole. The ground trembled with each shifting movement, the air itself felt heavy.
Ender watched the scene, a strange mixture of awe and unease gripping him. He appeared next to Gaia who clutched his arm tightly, her eyes wide as the Progenitor's glowing essence began to dissipate into the atmosphere.
"I hope you keep your word," Ender murmured under his breath, more to himself than to the fading giant.
As the Progenitor's presence vanished beneath the ice.
[Congratulations on forming a cosmic pact with the celestial Progenitor.
Rewards: Creation of All, Telekinesis (Mastery needed), Telepathy (Mastery needed).]
Seeing the rewards Ender sighed in relief he suspected that anything major he did would be rewarded by the system, marrying Gaia which he was grateful for even if he didn't get any reward, defeating Set, and now forming a contract with a celestial.
"My love what happened, I can't feel his life signature, but he is also not exactly dead," Gaia confused and concerned asked him.
"A celestial cannot truly die Gaia, like elder gods."
Gaia's expression softened, though the tension in her eyes didn't fully fade. "That's… comforting. In a way."
But Ender couldn't afford to relax. The presence of the Horde inside the Progenitor, dormant or not, was still a potential threat. A celestial's 'body' and its cosmic energy could draw the attention of beings who sought to exploit its power.
"Gaia," Ender said, summoning his trident, "we need to seal its body. We can't let anything from the outside disturb it or worse, let whatever affected it escape."
Gaia nodded, determination replacing her earlier unease. "I'll channel my energy with yours. Together, we can ensure it remains undisturbed."
The air thickened with energy as Ender began weaving the intricate spell. Symbols and runes materialized in the air around him, glowing with an otherworldly light. Gaia closed her eyes, her hands glowing green as she tapped into her divine power, her power complementing his own.
The magic circle they created was massive, spanning the entirety of the icy landscape. Its runes pulsed in a shifting gradient of ethereal blues and greens, symbols of containment and preservation carved into the very fabric of reality.
The spell was a relic of knowledge Ender had learned from the Overworld's library. It was immensely powerful but carried strict conditions: the target of the seal must be incapacitated or decapitated, and the energy cost was astronomical, even for gods.
As the circle solidified, the ice beneath the Progenitor shimmered, locking its body in a stasis-like field. Waves of magic resonated outward, forming an invisible barrier that even the most determined force would struggle to breach.
Ender sighed as the light dimmed, signaling the spell's completion. He tightened his grip on the trident, wary despite their success. "This will hold for now. But it's only a matter of time before Earth begins to feel the effects of his lingering energy. And when that happens…"
"It will affect the life," Gaia finished, her voice grim.
Ender nodded. "But, we will ensure that it remains safe."
Ender would have stashed Progenitor's 'body' and would have kept it for research and maybe even tried to reanimate it with some Necromancy spell but immediately dismissed the latter since he didn't know if he could control a celestial, he wasn't at that level yet, but he didn't for various reasons, Zgreb the Aspirant would not be able to locate Progenitor, or his remaining essence would not affect the lifeforms and the Horde which was another Box of Pandora, he didn't want to catch attention of the person behind it after all.
But once these events are over and he is sure that he can completely exterminate the Horde he will take the Progenitor for his research.
Ender and Gaia left, and the North Pole became the resting place of the Progenitor for now.
(Gaia's Grove)
Gaia's grove was as serene as ever, the lush greenery pulsing with life and harmony. Yet, in stark contrast to the tranquil surroundings, Ender was busy pouring his energy into what seemed like the empty air, his concentration unyielding.
Gaia tilted her head, curious. "Husband, what are you doing?"
She watched as his energy shimmered and flickered, dissipating into the surrounding space repeatedly, with no apparent result.
Ender, undeterred, flashed her a grin. "Just wait a moment, Gaia. You'll see."
His voice carried a boyish excitement she rarely saw, and it made her smile despite her confusion.
Finally, after several more moments of effort, the energy condensed. A faint ripple distorted the air, and from that ripple, an ordinary-looking boulder materialized.
Gaia blinked, perplexed. "A… rock?"
Ender chuckled at her bewilderment, picking up the boulder with ease. "Not just a rock, it is the power of creation behind it, isn't it great to be able to create anything."
Gaia tilted her head, still giggling. "Husband, if you think creating rocks is impressive, let me show you what true creation looks like."
Ender raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a smirk. "Oh? Go ahead, goddess of creation. Amaze me."
Gaia stepped forward, the air around her shimmering with an emerald glow as she gathered her life force. Her hands cupped together as if cradling something delicate, and a radiant light began to form between her palms.
Moments later, the light faded, revealing…
A small, squishy blob.
It wobbled slightly, emitting a faint, high-pitched squeak as it blinked its disproportionately large, watery eyes.
Gaia frowned. "Huh. That's… not quite what I intended maybe it is due to the weakness that happened because of Horde and..."
Ender burst out laughing, clutching his sides. "My love, I hate to break it to you, but that thing makes my boulder look majestic!"
Gaia huffed, narrowing her eyes. "Don't mock me, Husband. It's just beginning. It just needs… enhancement."
Ender grinned mischievously. "Alright, let me help." Without waiting for permission, he extended his hands toward the blob, channeling a surge of his energy into it.
The blob quivered violently, its shape distorting and expanding. Before either of them could react, it began to grow limbs, sprout tufts of hair, and take on a vaguely humanoid form.
"Uh… Gaia? Is it supposed to do that?" Ender asked nervously, his energy still pouring into the creature.
"I don't know! Stop! You're overloading it!" Gaia shouted, her energy still involuntarily feeding into the creature.
The glowing mass swirled and twisted until, with a bright flash, it...

Celestials give Powers pretty much casually if they see potential, and Ender got those powers permanently but he is at most at the level of a Beta level with these new powers.
Creative mode coming soon...
I am really sorry for the late update the exam fu*ked our whole class pretty badly.
I hope there are powerstones.
