HOGWARTS: BLOODLINE WIZRD(R18-HEAVILY MODIFIED)

Chapter 25: 25

"Wingardium Leviosa~"

Watching the troll slowly approaching, Ivan whispered the spell of levitation, and several pieces of rock cakes on the ground slowly floated up so that the troll could see them directly instead of stepping on them because his head was too small to see clearly.

But at this moment, Ivan was still a little nervous, fearing that the troll was not as stupid as described in the book and could see that this was a trap.

Fortunately, Ivan soon discovered that the troll was even dumber than he had imagined. It didn't even have the vigilance that ordinary creatures should have. It didn't care where the food in front of it came from and just grabbed it and put it into its mouth.

In order to make it easier to grab the food, the troll even dropped the stick in his hand on the ground. He looked like a real foodie, which made Ivan wonder if Quirrell had secretly withheld the troll's food and put the saved gold galleons into his own pocket.

After complaining in his heart for a while, Ivan's originally nervous expression relaxed. He gently touched the pocket of his wizard robe with his left hand. It seemed that the escape method he had carefully prepared would not be used.

However, to Ivan's surprise, a few minutes later, the troll who had finished eating the rock cake did not fall down. Instead, he twitched his nose, as if he wanted to smell if there was any other food here.

Ivan was a little confused. You know, in order to ensure the success of the plan, the amount he used was enough to knock down several adult wizards, but the troll didn't even react.

There's nothing scientific about this... Phew... There's nothing magical about this!

Could it be that the potion he brewed was too watery?

Ivan looked at his Potions which had reached level three and felt somewhat uncertain.

"Ah~"

When Ivan was struggling over whether he should take direct action, a loud voice broke the already bad situation.

Ivan, who was hiding in the secret passage, saw Hermione suddenly appear at the corner of the corridor. The troll picked up the wooden stick on the ground and walked towards Hermione with excitement.

The moment Ivan saw the troll's action, he understood that Hermione must have been attracted by the sound of the wooden stick falling to the ground.

Ivan cursed in his heart. If he had known earlier, he would have set the trap farther away.

Of course, Ivan was just talking. If it was a little further away, he would have no way of being sure whether the troll would pass by there.

On the other side, Hermione was panicked for a moment facing the terrifying pressure brought by the troll's approaching step by step. Her brain kept sending messages to her body to escape, but her legs were so weak that she could barely stand.

Just as Ivan thought, Hermione, who was crying in the bathroom, felt the vibration from the ground and the loud noise of the wooden stick falling to the ground, so she came over to take a look out of curiosity.

But Hermione never thought that she would see such a horrible creature as the troll in the corridor of Hogwarts.

Just when Hermione thought she was going to die miserably here, a voice rang out at the right time.

"Fear is coming!"

A bright purple light shot out from the other side. The giant monster's huge size made it almost impossible for the spell to fail. The moment the fear spell hit, the giant monster stopped running forward and stood there in a daze. At the same time, Ivan, who had been hiding in the secret passage, also came out.

"Ivan!" Hermione rushed over like a drowning person grabbing a life-saving straw, hugging Ivan with tears still in the corners of her eyes.

"Shh..." Ivan did not relax his vigilance. He used his free left hand to break free from Hermione's grip. He still held the wand in his right hand and kept increasing the power of the fear spell.

Hermione blushed, but soon noticed something was wrong with the troll after Ivan reminded her. Hermione had thought that Ivan had subdued the troll with a spell, but now it seemed that it was not that simple.

"What's wrong with it?" Hermione asked quietly.

Ivan did not answer, but just signaled Hermione to stop talking, but his eyes never left the troll. This was the first time Ivan had seen such a situation since he used the Fear Curse.

In order to cause enough fear to the troll, Ivan used the fear spell to replicate the three-headed dog Norway that he had encountered before, enlarged it, and replaced it in Hermione's place.

The troll who was hit by the curse of fear was also very confused at this time. How did the dwarf in front of him, who was originally wearing strange clothes, inexplicably turn into a giant three-headed dog? The image was vaguely familiar, but it seemed to be a lot fatter than it remembered. Could it be that he had secretly had an extra meal recently?

What should we do now? Hermione didn't say anything this time, but she still signaled with her eyes.

Ivan hesitated for a while, but was reluctant to give up this opportunity. Time was limited and the professor might arrive at any time.

If I miss this opportunity, next time I want to defeat the troll, I will have to go under the trapdoor guarded by the three-headed dog Fluffy by myself.

Thinking of this, Ivan used his lips and actions to signal Hermione to use the levitation spell to snatch the troll's stick and then smash it on its head.

That's right, this is exactly the method that Harry and Ron used to defeat the troll in the original book. Even if they failed, at least they could take the troll's weapon.

Hermione was skeptical about Ivan's wild plan, but she was ready to implement it out of trust.

However, what was faster than Hermione's spell casting was the troll's swinging wooden stick!

The giant monster, who had no brains to begin with, chose to attack in anger after many fruitless attempts to communicate. The strange strength and the wooden stick thicker than an adult's waist made Ivan feel the threat of death for the first time in a long time.

At the critical moment, Ivan used his last trump card. The remaining academic points in the system column instantly dropped to single digits. The next moment, Ivan's thinking speed was increased a hundred times.

The landing point of the wooden stick and the possible subsequent actions of the troll flashed through Ivan's mind one by one. Then he turned and rushed forward, rolling a few times on the ground in his arms.

Behind him, a huge noise was heard at the same time. A large piece of the originally solid corner of the wall had been knocked off by the giant monster, and the powder and debris were scattered all over the ground.

The fear spell that Ivan had used before was also broken. Now, no matter how stupid the troll was, he knew that he had been fooled. He raised his stick and prepared to chase after him. However, after taking only two steps, the troll suddenly felt dizzy in his brain, and he staggered and hit his head against the wall. It turned out that the powerful sleeping potion he had taken before was finally starting to take effect.

Taking advantage of the moment when the troll's brain was not clear, Ivan suddenly got up from the ground and pulled Hermione to a distance of more than ten meters between him and the troll. The affected troll also regained his sanity at this time, and it was obvious that he was highly resistant to the sleeping potion.

Although the giant monster didn't know why he was suddenly confused, he knew it would be a good idea to kill the two dwarfs on the ground, so he immediately rushed towards them in anger.

A dozen meters is not far for the giant monster, and it can be crossed in just a few seconds. For Ivan, it is enough!
