Chapter 601: Chapter 601: Harry's decision and Andy's upcoming comeback

"I wrote him once!"

Ron shrugged, "But the owl flew back on its own. My dad said that Andy should have prepared a safe house, a place the owl couldn't find."

Harry nodded without asking any more questions and listened quietly to the argument in the meeting room.

The people inside were obviously also undecided. Both the World Cup site and the Ministry of Magic were important. The former would have tens of thousands of spectators, and the latter has a lot of important information and facilities.

Neither could be easily abandoned.

Therefore, the best solution would be to figure out where Voldemort would attack in advance.

The pressure was once again on Snape.

Snape was also at a loss for what to do. Voldemort had not said anything, so naturally, he could not ask about it.

The meeting soon ended in discord.

Creak—

The door to the meeting room was pushed open.

George and Fred quickly hid the extendable ears and tried to run away in panic.

Snape walked out of the meeting room with a dark face, looked up at Harry and the others, and then walked towards the front door without saying a word.

A bunch of idiots!

He had taken the time to come to the meeting, but the group had spent the afternoon discussing without coming to any conclusions.

They were even less efficient than Death Eaters!

One by one, the group left the meeting room, some leaving straight away, others staying behind.

Molly Weasley also left the kitchen at this time. She looked up in the direction of upstairs and called out, "Children, come down to dinner!"

With a series of quick footsteps,

Harry, Ron, Ginny, the twins, and the others all ran to the dining room.

As soon as they sat down, Harry couldn't wait to ask, "We don't have enough people? Then why are we still hosting the World Cup?"

"Of course, it's for the Ministry's reputation!" Sirius snorted.

"Don't talk nonsense!"

Lupin sat across from Harry and the others and patiently explained, "The media has already reported that the Quidditch World Cup will be held in our country. If we suddenly give up, it will certainly affect our international image."

"They will think we are afraid of the Dark Lord."

"Secondly, the Ministry of Magic wants to take advantage of this World Cup to seek cooperation from the other countries' Ministry of Magic."

Harry nodded in understanding.

After a moment of silence, Harry couldn't help but ask, "Then Snape... he..."

He was really surprised to see Snape here.

Lupin laughed lightly at this comment, "It's just what you think."

Harry looked incredulous.

Ron's expression almost looked like he had just swallowed a fly.

After reluctantly accepting the news, Harry turned to Sirius and asked expectantly, "Sirius, you promised to take me to the Quidditch World Cup..."

Bang!

Harry's words were interrupted by a loud noise.

Molly Weasley slammed a tray of toast onto the table, glared at Sirius with fury in her eyes, and said in a shrill voice, "Oh Merlin! How could you do such a thing? Are you crazy? Do you know how dangerous it will be there?!"

Lupin remained silent.

Arthur Weasley looked at the ceiling and started daydreaming.

Sirius smiled awkwardly.

Tonks gave Sirius a 'good luck' look.

The Weasley children once again saw the power of their mother.

"I'm not afraid of them. If Voldemort dares to come, I'll fight him to the end!" Amidst the nervous silence, Harry stood strong.

"Oh, Harry, you don't understand!"

Molly always feels more maternal when she looks at Harry.

She walked quickly over to Harry and looked him in the eye, speaking gently but firmly: "There may be a big battle that day, and the World Cup stadium will likely end up at the centre of it. Harry, you're still just a child; you shouldn't get involved in this."

Harry says with a serious face, "But I can't just hide, can I? That prophecy...has bound me to Voldemort from the very beginning."

True, Harry really couldn't stay out of it!

"Oh, poor boy!"

Molly looked at Harry with tears in her eyes and said, "You have to bear all this at such a young age."

After everyone had calmed Molly Weasley down, Harry looked at Sirius and asked, "Can't the Ministry spare even some manpower?"

Sirius spread his hands helplessly and said, "The World Cup venue is huge, and there are a lot of people. Do you know how many people are needed to guard such a large area?"

"Not to mention that Death Eaters can disguise themselves as spectators and sneak in."

"If there is chaos, with so many people, it will be difficult for the Ministry of Magic to maintain order."

Hearing this, Harry also looked serious.

This matter is indeed difficult to handle.

An accident could result in many deaths.

"Maybe..."

Harry was silent for a moment, then said with determination, "Maybe I can attract Voldemort's attention..."

"Absolutely not! That's too dangerous!"

Before Harry could finish his sentence, Molly interrupted sharply, "Harry, I absolutely forbid this. On the day of the World Cup, you better stay at home and not go anywhere!"

Harry looked straight at Molly and said unyieldingly, "If I don't stand up, thousands of people will be in danger."

Sirius looked at Harry with relief and said proudly, "Harry, I'll be with you! As long as I'm still standing, no one can hurt you."

Lupin looked a little helpless but said firmly, "Don't forget, there's still me!"

Sirius put an arm around Lupin's shoulders, and the two of them smiled at each other.

In the midst of all the noise, the matter was ultimately left undecided.

They still had to ask Dumbledore's opinion!

***

In the yard, Andy sat quietly in a rocking chair, leisurely sipping tea while looking up at the night sky.

Mars looked very bright tonight!

In both the East and the West, Mars symbolised calamity and was associated with disease, chaos, famine, war, and other unfortunate things.

"War is coming..." Andy suddenly sighed.

It had been twenty days since the holiday started, and after all these days of hard work, the fusion of mind and magic was at the final step.

In a few days, 'it' would be born!

Andy had been so excited that he hadn't slept well for several days.

He couldn't contain his excitement!

However, in the last few days, the originally active magic power gradually subsided. According to Andy's estimation, within ten days at most, the magic power would completely stabilise.

The good news was that there was still time.

The bad news is that once the magic power stabilises, Andy will lose his ability to sense it.

This also meant that Andy would no longer be able to continue to 'observe' the process of the mind and magic power fusing.

Especially not in the final, most critical step!

"Sigh!"

With a sigh, Andy slowly got up from his rocking chair.

After disappearing for so long, he wondered if there were still people talking about him.

It was about time to go out and see!
