Could the Obscurus be absorbing the life force of its host?

This is a possibility that Andy had considered before.

However, Andy had ruled it out because he had not felt any loss of life force.

Now, hearing Grindelwald say this, Andy once again thought about this possibility.

Did the host die first, and then the Obscurus left the host? Or did the Obscurus cause the host to die because it left?

Andy had no idea.

But there is no denying that something was wrong with the body of the Obscurial, Credence.
