Chapter 90: Weaponization Of Chakra
Upon hearing this, Uchiha Itachi's expression darkened as he bowed respectfully.
"I am deeply honored to become Master Yuma's disciple," Itachi said earnestly.
Itachi spoke from the heart. As a child, he was already highly praised by his father, his mother, and even his peers. Everyone admired him, and many wished they could be like him. He had asked his father what made Uchiha Yuma so special, and his father explained that the man before him was incredibly strong. A person of great strength, according to his father, deserved to be his teacher, and Itachi saw no reason to refuse such an offer.
Though only two and a half years old, Itachi understood that, as a future ninja, strength was paramount. It was this very reason that he accepted Uchiha Yuma's offer without hesitation.
Unaware of the depth of thought behind Itachi's decision, Yuma laughed joyfully at his response.
"Hahaha, stand up, Itachi. Even though I am your teacher, I won't follow the old master-disciple traditions. There shouldn't be too many rules."
"Yes, Teacher Yuma!" Itachi replied, standing up in response.
After sitting back down, Yuma felt an unexpected surge of emotion. Accepting Itachi as his disciple stirred a mixture of feelings in him.
In his previous life, Itachi was a figure with a reputation difficult to define—people either loved or hated him. Yuma was no different. He admired Itachi for his handsome appearance and undeniable strength, but he also despised the cold-hearted decisions Itachi would later make. The most infamous of these decisions was the massacre of his own clan, which he justified for the so-called greater good—to prevent war. This arrogance, the belief that one's actions were justified without fully understanding the consequences or the social landscape, led to pain for his loved ones and joy for his enemies.
Though Yuma had learned from his past experiences, he saw Itachi as a child now, and he needed to guide him. Yuma believed that with the right education, Itachi would become a different person.
After accepting Itachi as his disciple, Yuma enjoyed a meal with the Fugaku family before leaving the clan leader's residence.
He soon arrived at a secluded alley, eager to experiment with the changes his body had undergone. After enhancing the 'Chakra Seed' entry, an unfamiliar sensation spread throughout his body. The system informed him that this was the beginning of weaponizing Chakra, a technique of the Ōtsutsuki.
Now that Yuma had his own Chakra seed and the entry had been upgraded, he could create his own Chakra weapon. This idea intrigued him, especially as his ninja sword no longer kept up with his abilities. It was becoming less useful for upcoming battles, and his sixth sense warned him that the next challenge would be formidable.
Looking for a suitable location to conduct his experiment, Yuma teleported using Flying Thunder God and arrived at a secret Uchiha base in the Land of Fire. The Uchiha, being a powerful clan, had many such bases scattered throughout the ninja world. This particular one was the site of the infamous battle between Sasuke and Itachi.
"This place is perfect for experimenting with powerful Ninjutsu," Yuma thought, observing the desolate, gray land. The barren environment made it ideal for unrestricted experimentation.
After marking the base with his Flying Thunder God seal, Yuma entered the open area and began gathering Chakra in his hands. As he channeled more Chakra, a strange transformation began to occur. His hair and skin turned a pale white as the Chakra ball took shape.
Soon, the ball materialized into a giant snake with eight heads and eight tails, squirming in front of him.
"Hmm? Is this part of the Eight-Headed Art?" Yuma raised an eyebrow in surprise. The Chakra had reacted in an unexpected way, forming the lower part of the Eight-Headed Art.
He thought to himself, "This technique was merged into the Ōtsutsuki entry, so it's natural for this change to occur after upgrading my Chakra Seed."
As the giant eight-headed snake appeared, Yuma received a message from his bloodline, turning the creature into a flesh-and-blood weapon of Chakra. Yuma felt a sense of disgust at the idea.
"I don't particularly like flesh-and-blood weapons," he muttered. "If it weren't for the entry extraction system, I might have considered keeping it, but..."
His thoughts turned to something interesting he had recently learned from Uchiha Itachi.
Yuma looked at the extracted entry related to Itachi:
[Spiritual Weapon (Gold)]: This entry grants a unique weapon.
Effects:
Ten-Grip Sword – The Sword of Seal. Yata Mirror – Reflects physical attacks.
The spiritual weapon of this entry requires Chakra to be materialized before it can be used.
"No wonder Uchiha Itachi's Susanoo is different from others. Sasuke's and Madara's Susanoo weapons didn't have any special abilities." Yuma remembered the unique features of Itachi's Susanoo. The spiritual weapons attached to it made it stand apart.
Yuma continued, "In the original story, these weapons were distinct, but now, thanks to the system, they've become an entry I can use." He marveled at the system's power. It was an incredible cheat!
Thanks to this entry, Yuma knew exactly what to do next. He was eager to test how the Chakra inherited from the Ōtsutsuki bloodline could be weaponized and what changes might occur when merged with this new entry.
